661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are bounties on: April 29, 2018, 10:08:46 PM
Heard much about it, but I still didn't understand what they are and why so many people like/dont like bounties. Who can fill me in?
Bounty campaign is the promotion of the project by encouraging participants to disseminate information about it. Dissemination of information produced by social networking and posting articles on popular websites, video sharing (youtube), the forum is made using the signature in your profile. Payments are most often made in the tokens of the project, and their number depends on the number of subscribers/views/rank, etc.the Attitude of participants to this type of earnings thing subjective and depends on the profit received by the participants.

Taxi was doing a perfectly good job....
but Uber works better!!!

Landlines phone were perfectly good phone...
But cellphone works better...

We have Fiat but Bitcoin was introduce...
Do I need to say more?
You have made an interesting analogy, but do not forget that it is not profitable for the government to replace cryptocurrencies with paper money. Blockchain technology is really the future and it will be implemented in different sectors. With cryptocurrency is much more difficult, it should be very carefully woven into the current financial system. And it will happen or not, only regulation at the legislative level will show.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: April 28, 2018, 07:56:55 AM
how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of.your token.is hitting down ..? in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
thanks in.advance..
To reduce the risks, invest in several cryptocurrencies, choose altcoins that do not depend on each other. Cryptocurrencies that are interesting for investors, very quickly collect Hardcap at the stage of IСO, are listed on major exchanges and are high in the ranking of Coinmarketcap. You should also pay attention to following the project road map and developers ' activity in social networks, for this there are all the necessary tools. This will significantly reduce your risks when investing.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are the good icos for 2018? on: April 28, 2018, 07:29:01 AM
want to invest some bitcoin and ethereum on icos please suugest me some good icos
You have to define for yourself the criteria of a good ICO in your opinion. Whole teams work for the ICO analysis and this does not guarantee that the project will be successful. I would advise you to select projects that would be interesting to you and that you consider necessary to people. And after that analyze the team, whitepaper and social networks.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: April 28, 2018, 07:21:36 AM
I feel that i never have enough coins. To day i just bought another batch with Icon (ICX) i am not only bullish on ICX but wish i had more of WAN,VEN,ONT,NAV,OMG and EOS.

Do you guys feel the same thirst/hunger to buy/add more fiat to the crypto world. And when is enough ?

Because of the long downtreand we have been withness to now. Do i start to be positive to what i see right now. And want to take a loan in the bank 50k to buy more of the coins that i have mantion in this thread. The plan is to make 2-3x and sell some and pay back the loan. I know this sounds crazy to most of you and i know it is.

Positive and negative comments are all welcome in this thread. Thanks
Don't you think, my friend, you're hooked on cryptocurrency like drugs? I want to tell you, as someone who is watching from the side - you got excited and you have to stop. There must be reasonable limits. It is reasonable to spend on cryptocurrency the money that you can afford to lose and it will not affect the quality of your life. You want to risk your well-being. Times of high volatility have passed, the market is becoming more Mature. By investing in early 2017, you could become a millionaire by investing in 2018, you will become a little richer, nothing more. But how much will have to wait for the moment when the market will reach the level of the January highs, it is not known. Therefore, I advise you to invest 10% of your monthly budget and do not sell your coins/tokens 2 years.

Hello everyone,

I've created spreadsheets about best bounty manager's best bounty campaigns.

You can access easily and pick your bounty which you will participate.

BTCSELECTED BOUNTY SPREADSHEETBTC

Please don't hasitate to leave comment.

Thanks

I apologize to the author you probably like to do the bounty and you wanted to do a good deed. But it is time to read the forum and learn not to duplicate what is already in abundance. Here, for example, an excellent spreadsheet - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B4sMp4rDeYjPn3Lkbxn6Ot5KLQFERPXloIl5lUbTVBg/edit#gid=691200443, which contains proven managers, it includes you listed managers and many others. The table is updated daily. I hope it will be useful to you!
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I stop hodling already and buy something? on: April 27, 2018, 11:11:02 AM
Congrats! You did your research, chose good projects, invested at good positions, and hodled. You now have a comfortable profit with your crypto and cannot be more excited to sell some crypto for fiat. Fiat that you will need for your daily purchases in life. The coffee in the morning, the groceries, and maybe some gifts for the loved ones.
What if there was a way to integrate crypto to product transactions without the need for fiat? That would not only save you time and hefty fees, it would also positively influence your day to day life with quick liquidity.
Great! How do we do that?
You've probably heard of TenX, Shift, or Centra who have promised to create debit/credit cards linked to crypto wallets. Due to VISA/Mastercard regulations, we haven't received any such cards and probably won't anytime soon.
Ok, so what now?
Take Zeex for example. Zeex allows users to buy products and services from the big brands (Amazon, Adidas, Starbucks, etc) with cryptocurrency without the need to convert to fiat or pay fees. How do they do this? Gift cards! Zeex has created a protocol that will allow you to seamlessly convert crypto into retail gift cards and visa versa.
Have you guys heard about this project?
Check out their website https://zeex.me and let me know what you think?
I think it's an ingenious way to integrate crypto to product. A retailer will always accept their own corporate currency!
This is a very interesting solution, but it looks more like a compromise. This way has the right to exist, but don't you think it's forcing the use of certain brands. I would like to decide which products, clothes or equipment to buy and that my choice did not apply any restrictions.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: April 27, 2018, 11:05:21 AM
Hey guys, what do you think about today’s market situation? Market is growing really fast. Will it keep going like this?
I think at the current market situation everything will depend on the news background. If the news is positive and Bitcoin will gain a foothold above $ 10,000, the market will continue to grow.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty platforms on: April 27, 2018, 10:09:25 AM
I'm just wondering how people get to know about latest good bounty program to participate. I have few platforms that I use such as
Bountyhive.io

Bountyplatform.io

ICO alarm app on Google Play Store

And lastly bitcointalk forum.
Kindly help with good platforms you use
Thanks
I try to choose companies that are managed by proven managers with a positive reputation. In order not to miss the campaign, I use the spreadsheet in which the managers meet my criteria. The spreadsheet is updated daily.

674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pros and cons of whitepapers on: April 26, 2018, 12:24:39 PM
Question for everyone, what are the signs of a good whitepaper and also signs of a bad one.
A good Whitepaper should contain the following sections:
- problem;
- suggested solution and product description;
- a description of the implementation of the token (like interacting with the product, Economics and technical implementation);
- team;
- token issuance and further plans.

At the same time, despite the fact that the section devoted to the project team is usually located at the end of the document, it is one of the most important elements.
And do not forget that Whitepaper is only a marketing tool, if the project is of no interest to anyone, even high-quality Whitepaper will not save it.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative to Myetherwallet on: April 26, 2018, 12:05:35 PM
I normally use myetherwallet for storing my Ethereum based tokens. I am from a country where the economy is really bad and cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology has being a life saver, but the recent hack of mew DNS servers. I fear losing it.
Please what are the best alternatives to securing tokens while storing them.
I want advice on the best alternatives to Myetherwallet
The simplest methods are listed on the MyEtherWallet home page.
1. Install the plugin for Google Chrome, which is called EtherAddressLookup, it will warn you if you go to the site on a phishing link.
2. Keep your private key in a safe place, preferably on a separate medium. You can add it to the archive with a password, or split it into two parts to make it completely safe.
3. Go to the wallet using the Keystore / JSON File (the File which is downloaded when you register the wallet). To steal the Private Key is much easier than the Keystore / JSON File.
4. To see all the tokens that are on the wallet, it is not necessary to go into the wallet itself every time, use the ethplorer website.io or etherscan.io, it is convenient to do it directly in the plugin EtherAddressLookup.
5. Install the HTTPS Everywhere extension, which forces the site to switch from http to https.
6. You can also install Metamask and Cryptonite by MetaCert plugins.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or NEO Platform for Smart Contract Development? on: April 26, 2018, 11:17:48 AM
Dear, blockchain experts!

I have a blockchain solution provider company, we make smart contracts, ICO/DAICOs, marketing and legal.

We have been discussing with my programmers on which platform it is better to develop Smart Contracts for some recent clients that needs ICO development.

What is your opinion, do you prefer Ethereum or NEO Platform for Smart Contract Development?

I am looking for a good discussion here.
Thank you in advance!
Hello, let's look at the main differences between Ethereum and NEO in this direction and draw a conclusion together.

1. Language of Smart contracts. Ethereum supports one coding language: Solidity, it needs to be trained. NEO supports many coding languages. Accordingly, the developer is much easier to write a Smart contract for NEO.

2. Execution of Smart contracts. NEO VM optimize the smart contract code before executing the contract itself. This means that they accept the code and reorganize it to make it more efficient. Imagine that you went to the supermarket, you have two lists, one list all the products are written spontaneously, and the second all sorted by category.

The conclusion is clear.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrencies are going down on: April 26, 2018, 10:38:57 AM
All cryptos are going down rapidly. What is the reason. Where is the bottom?
Looks like we will have new opportunity to invest with low prices.
The reason for the current fall was the negative news background. MyEtherWallet's DNS was attacked, the exchange's refusal (OKEx and Poloniex) to work with ERC20 tokens could not but affect the market. Further movement will depend on subsequent news, if hackers are caught, the market will start to grow again.

679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoin exchanged for btc and not for dollar on: April 25, 2018, 12:59:05 PM
Why are altcoin exchanged for btc and not for dollar?
having tons of altcoin is just like having bitcoin. If bitcoin grows, they grow. If bitcoin falls, they fall.

Isn't this pointless? Why not buying and selling alts for dollar?
Because the cryptocurrency was created so that ordinary people could fully control their funds and not depend on the banking system and the state. As the dollar is the basic unit of exchange for fiat money, Bitcoin is the main unit of exchange for altcoins. The point of cryptocurrency is not that it can be bought for fiat, but that you can use it as a means of payment anywhere in the world and you do not need to convert it to another currency.

hey  Is Siacoin a Good Investment? or what happen 2018 price 1$..?? i got 100,000 siacoin Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Siacoin is a very interesting company that is developing rapidly, the project has undergone rebranding this year and has a finished product. But if you chose this project for profit, you forgot to take into account that all cryptocurrencies depend on Bitcoin and to increase the price to 1$, the capitalization of the main currency should increase many times.
