Hmm, which OS version are you using? Which GPUs do you have in the system? Also, can you post what is shown when you click "Details" on this issue? Also, if you reboot your PC, does the issue persist?
Windows 10, 2x Raedon 5450.

Dear users,

Yet another new version of NiceHash Miner has just been released. The new version 1.2.2.0 brings highly optimized AMD GPU mining for NeoScrypt (up to +300%) and a few bugfixes:

https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=56

Keep on mining! Wink

Best regards,
NiceHash team

Is there instructions on how to setup your system to be compatable with this software?

Nicehash

thank you for the miner ... very nice ... but i have one question.

how do i limit which coins i mine....

it seems that my gtx 970 always defaults to quark. and X11 or X13 is 3 times better return?
X11   3336   0.1610 *  1665%   0.1558 *
X13   3337   0.2121 *  1678%   0.1852 *

Quark   3345   0.0932 *  500%   0.0928 *

Huh

under the extra settings can i disable algo's i dont want to mine?

thank you for your time !!!
I tried disabling some of the algos, but it didn't seem to have any effect.

When I ran the benchmark, it fixed the CPU's mining to all be the same algo on multiple boxes. However, for the GPU's, it just crashes.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ScryptJaneNf16 CPU miner for Linux? on: December 10, 2015, 02:10:22 PM
This is the link to scryptjane cgminer
https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=41
I`m using that one for mining nf16 leocoin but in windows.
Yes, I found the windows version. My issue has been that I have about 20x the cores running Linux than I do windows.
Problem is that Windows is just not profitable to run on due to the costs, where Linux is free.
However, I did locate a version of cpuminer which supports just about everything:

I have 2 computers, and running the same miner on both.
One chose scryptjaneNf16 and the other lyra2re.
The first is raking in the coin, but the second is spinning but generating nothing.
How can I get the second to switch to the same algo as the first?

Did you run the benchmark? Check the file config.json in the NiceHash Miner directory -> if you set exactly the same settings for CPU groups, then they will work in sync.

That fixed it, now both are running the higher payrate algorithm.
Any chance for a Linux version? I ask because I have a lot of server class CPU's running Linux.
Only my desktop/laptop run Windows.
I could put 50x the cpu horsepower to work if I had a Linux version.

Nicehash payouts have been a joke for the past month, 1 month ago i was making 3x as much BTC on nice hash and the funny thing is I'm making 3x as much on other pools............
The only other pools that I know of are generating about the same as nicehash on a BTC/TH/Day basis.
I would love to hear about any other pools which are paying significantly higher.
Heck, if they were, I could buy hashing power from nicehash and mine on those other pools and keep the difference.

Yeah I'm aware but the price of BTC is rising rapidly and the price of altcoins is rapidly falling. so doesn't that make spending btc right now on altcoins silly? at least until the price of BTC stabilizes. If you buy 0.2 bitcoin for say $77.29 USD to rent hashing power for altcoins that 0.2 could be worth $100 USD tomorrow...
Ah, altcoins... That explains a lot.
I have been renting my antminers to nicehash for about 6 months now, so altcoin is not in the picture for me.
Except that I do have some cpu's mining alts right now, just in the background, I think I get about $0.20 per day...

Is there a version of this miner which supports the ScryptJaneNf16 algo?
This latest version  2.4.2 supports it.  Scrypt Jane A.K.A scrypt-chacha
You must be thinking of some fork. The miner discussed in this thread only supports scrypt and SHA-256d.

Trying to compile, but getting errors:

./configure: line 6517: syntax error near unexpected token `,'
./configure: line 6517: `LIBCURL_CHECK_CONFIG(, 7.15.2, ,'
See the FAQ in the first post.
Thanks, the FAQ did enable me to get it compiled, and I verified that it doesn't include the ScryptJane branch.

Ahh, ok. I think I have cpuminer 2.4.1
Let me pull a new version and see if that helps.

This minerd software is not showing ScryptJaneNf16 as an available option:

I saw that NiceHash put out a new PC miner, which I just fired up on my desktop. Runs great, getting plenty of earnings on the DMD pool.
However, it uses ScryptJaneNf16, and that PC miner only works on Windows. Im getting great rate of return for a crappy/small desktop PC, but most of my CPU's are running Linux due to overhead (costs) associated with Windows.
Is there a CPU miner for Linux which will run ScryptJaneNf16?

Does anyone know of a ScryptJaneNf16 cpu miner for Linux?
I have several large Linux servers in a datacenter with plenty of idle time I could put to use.

Is there a Linux version of the mining software?
I put it on my desktop PC and it works great, but it's Windows and most of my cpu's are Linux based.

I see the algo of choice is ScryptJaneNf16, but I don't know of any Linux cpu miners which run ScryptJaneNf16 .

the price rose on Cryptsy because people can't withdrawal BTC and buy any other coin at inflated price.
the difference is palpable. Cryptsy up to 0.00077030, bittrex up to 0.00069719. but now the price on bittrex also significantly lower - Buying 0.00063020
I hope this will change in the near future.
go to trade on bittrex and cryptopia

So, if im mining BTC on nicehash, and converting to DMD, im getting ripped-off currently?
