I'd love to hear some "option to deal with it" as you said besides the plethora of protocol because i'm not thinking about an attack nor fake transaction but about real transactions taking place from a big network of different addresses. I gues that MTG or TH use some sort of internal db aceptance between their own users but how do such get finnaly reflected on the blockchain or they dont? Perhaps if the transaction were irrelevant for the btc network until they must leave their controled db to addreses outside their network, they are then centralized as one unique added transaction (guess this is what traderes do) risking them self as happened to MtGox to get their db vulnerated.

Why do you say the network isn't ready? What makes it to be ready? What if there is not such a "plenty of time"?
663  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / B-Etiquette on: September 21, 2011, 12:59:18 AM
What if all of a sudden thousands of small transactions occurred daily or hourly on the BTC blockchain? Will it affect into what way the processing time for transactions and confirmations? Will the BLK data file support such amount of data? Will something collapse? Ideas?
No necesariamente holdem. Poker cerrado y abiertos a gusto. Fecha y lugar a definir.

667  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: September 19, 2011, 04:24:32 AM
I'm was surprised today for being the first donator to the Forum... that's not a donor but a honor :-) . But then i'm yet more surprised of seeing only six of us. I don't need the donator badge, nor the colour, I'm just thankfull of having this site to hang out, learn and construct. This makes me think two things, many people here love this forum and would be willing to donate, as other said and perhaps don't because of the amount, I'm not better than them, just perhaps happen to have more coins. You could manage manually as many donnors per day you are willing to process and the others get in the queue. Seccond the 50 BTC might be a bit high if there is no particular or specific project to support.

Third, I believe Mark has good intentions for Bitcoins but I don't think he is the right one to trust the handling of the site nor the information in it, I happen to know him and treated him and I have my strong concerns. Perhaps no one is, but I would really look forward for another hoster.

670  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Investing in rigs crosscountry on: September 19, 2011, 01:18:45 AM
I understand your point, though it's just math to do. Beside selling such hardware local once you don't use them might be a better deal than selling them at UsA.
671  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Investing in rigs crosscountry on: September 19, 2011, 12:50:33 AM
What wrould take for someone to trust into the renter. Perhaps could be an alternative income for known IT Technical Support Bussinesses which could deal the renting and the mainenance and be backed by heir own offline known enterprise. I could try to find one in argentina if any is interested... I'm not trying to do bussiness for me, just give some ideas to the community.

674  Economy / Goods / Re: Iphone 4 for sale? on: September 18, 2011, 07:46:37 PM
I see it's getting difficult to gain some trust in the community. I would be glad to be te first one to trust in you. Please explain me the folowing things: which would be the final price in BTC for the iphone 4 16gb? What the difference between a US and a Non US? Are them locked (no prob)? Whats the shipping price to new york? Cant you ship worldwide? Are them refurbished? Are them sent from Apple?
675  Bitcoin / Mining / Investing in rigs crosscountry on: September 18, 2011, 07:12:33 PM
I'm  not a miner yet but in argentina i believe we pay $0,07 per kw. This would be intresting for investors as to rent space and elrctricity for keeping rigs. People could earn money from renting and investors money from mining in more cost effective locations. Its like hireing cheaper workers abroad. Is this done? Investors should pay for the hardware obviously. This thread goes in hand with thre renting hashes thread.
676  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Renting hashes on: September 18, 2011, 07:05:13 PM
Hey there are several threads about anonimity, lets keep that issue over there. Going back to the original post... btc needs more miners in the same wy it needs a higher value for each coin.  The more the miners, the more stable, unbreakable, and unforgeable is the network. But more miners means less coins per share that can only be supported for a higher priced coin, so yes we need more usd x coin but also more miners. Both come along hand by hand, becouse better prices temps more coiners too. But this thread is mainly about rentinghashes as an investmentfor the one who rents, expecting a certain profit and for the one who gives the hashes as way of assuring and anticipating profits as for example buy more rigs asap instead of waiting payouts.

679  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Renting hashes on: September 16, 2011, 12:46:24 PM
I worked on a Financial Institution were they made "securities" thats how I believe they were called, on debts valued according their expectation of payment. Then those were sold in the open market. This would be a sort of it in a extremly different way.
680  Bitcoin / Mining / Renting hashes on: September 16, 2011, 11:07:42 AM
Is there any mining pool that allows to rent ghashes from miners? This is the model I believe there should be... it would be a sort of investment model were one should be able to rent on a mining pool an x amount of hashes at a lower instant payment than the expected mined btc espected to be mined in such a period for such amount of hashes... benefits, one invest btc in exchange of a potential benefit of lets say, 10% in a certail period, on the other side the owner of the rigs gets inmediate btc for it's rent lowering his risk of getting or not lucky according the expected btc founds, and the pool gets a % over the transaction. Here should be a sort of uptime status and trust for the rented hashes. This might get more people into mining, who then might be willing to create their own rigs.
