LOL.
BTW, a friend of mine that ordered the 18th received the tracking info.
Something is happening. Im not sure of what yet, but something is happening.
In the "something is happening" category, I have a Feb. 3 order and on May 22 I received a heart-attack-inducing email from Avalon saying "no ZIP code, can not sent." I sent back the zip code immediately, and I have no idea how that got missed when I placed the order in the first place... but I guess it somehow did. The order still doesn't show up in the store, and I haven't received a tracking number. Still, someone is looking at things.

the whole point of this is, if it all works out, we can set up another group buy, arklan makes more off us and he is trusted, who the fuck knows, maybe he can make alot of money doing this...this is a vetting process. im sorry for having some common sense and being careful with my money.
as many a wise person has said on this forum, only gamble with as much $ or BTC as you can afford to lose. should i lose on this group buy i will be pissed, but mostly at myself for having trusted a complete stranger. Nobody's losing on anything, here. My tracking # tells me my pretties have already made their way to Salt Lake City, even with the holiday, and have an ETA of May 28. Here's an open secret: the U.S. mail keeps moving on holidays, behind the scenes, even though the post offices aren't open -- so, there's a good chance that even though there was a mix-up with express mail being processed as only priority mail for some orders, they may mostly all arrive at the same time anyway, because of the holiday (mine was only priority, but is projected to arrive next-business-day.) I love getting things in the mail, and tracking numbers are a delightful magic.

Just got my tracking number from Arklan! So, to recap: - ASICMiner only sold these in lots of 300, which none of us could afford (or chose not to) individually, so we needed a group buy; none of us stepped up to organize this, but Arklan did - Arklan's group buy was the first to complete, thus making us the first batch to ship, thus making us the first on earth to get to play with these - Arklan has been pleasant and organized throughout - While it is arguable that the first batch might not have been re-shipped as fast as humanly imaginable, that hypothetical loss of .013BTC revenue for one day -- we're talking a cup of coffee here -- isn't hurting any of the buyers -- especially taking into account how far ahead of the other group buys we are -- and the only person complaining is a guy who isn't in the first batch anyway, so it doesn't even effect him. Thank you very much, Arklan! I certainly wouldn't want to deal with all of us.

5? then why are you mining with 8?
cause the total order, including my five, was for 511. and they mailed 530. the extra 19 are intended for warranty replacement if any of you guys get deffective ones. logically, i want to make sure the 19 i keep work, eh? i can happily package the extra three and mail them out. they'd go to hephaist0s. in fact, you make a valid point. the 19 should come from the last batch, after all others are mailed. so, pack them i shall. Yay!
