We had shipped the first 200 USBs today immediately after they are out of the factory.

This is us?

Use a random number generator for shipping priority. Easiest and arguably most fair (everyones got their different reasons for getting their's first  Tongue)
Spoken like a person with a smaller, later order.  Grin  Hey I'd have probably tried that in your shoes too. Smiley

Spoken like someone with a larger, earlier order. See what I mean? Smiley

Without the "larger" orders, those of you with smaller orders would not have met the MOQ.  You'd still be waiting for smaller fish to come along to meet the sales requirements.  Be glad we've committed and paid quickly enough that we're the first batch out of the factory.

I'd like to see how long that would've taken, considering other group buys started up right after this closed.

Anyway, my point wasn't really a serious one. Regardless of order quantity, whoever ordered and paid first should get their's first.

Seems like "The biggest no-brainer in the history of mankind" (to quote a radio ad playing in my area) to ship in the order in which funds were deposited once to call for funds went out.

Now, it is true that I happened to be on-line and was, I believe, the second to put my money where my mouth was.  Ironic because I don't even expect to mine with the thing and have no pressing need for it.  In fact, I don't know if ~arklan has sold my device to someone else or not based on my earlier protestations.  I also don't really care to bother him with with information here since I currently feel happy enough to find out by checking my physical mailbox.

I was the first to put up money after arklan, and I still believe larger orders should go first.  Those with large orders are hurt much more by a one day delay than the guys with a single miner.  I miss out on 300 MH/s for one day, I'm losing what, $1.50?  Multiply that by 50 though and all of a sudden it's $75 a day someone is losing.  Doesn't seem to be a hard decision; larger orders should go first IMHO.

You could think of it number wise, or percentage wise, which to me makes sense. Everyone is missing out on the same ratio.

And coming in at the dead end, after the quota has been reached but with a large order means you get priority queue shipping? Not really following but ok.

The first 200 shipped wont even cover the bulk orders on the list, so which bulk orders get priority now, lol...

Order by size range descending (50-100, 25 - 50, 5 - 25, 1-5), then by date.  Doesn't have to be hard.

Yes, everyone is missing out on a percentage.  But in real dollars, I don't mind losing $3-$10 so someone else doesn't lose $50-$100.

I volunteer to be last.

I don't think anyone is factoring in the the fun value to be had each day from staring at these subversive little beauties. Smiley

Are there any other group buys that are even close to making the 300 quantity required? I kind of wish arklan had cut it off at 300 so there would still be some existing demand. I find myself wanting to order even more.

We should use this same list of trustworthy and prompt paying people for another group buy if needed, and then look for other members after if it can't be filled.
