6601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE] [ANN] [GRYF] - GryfenCoin on: July 12, 2014, 02:19:41 AM
This seems like a nice concept but honestly though, why such big supply? What are you trying to achieve this way? In my oppinion, this could just devalue the coin. Also why is the PoS cap so much higher than the PoW?
6602  Economy / Services / [WTS] 1Mh/s scrypt contract on: July 12, 2014, 02:07:37 AM
I'm not the provider of this contract, I bought it on 6/5/2014 (m/d/yyyy) It's still running and It will keep mining until 6/5/2015. It's a contract on hash-master.com. They're also official distributors of zeusminer. It mines on a profit switching pool and pays out in BTC. There is no fee on your earnings.

So basically, if you decide to buy it, you get full access to the account. From there you control the dashboard and payment settings. You can also change the email.

On the first month of mining I got ~25$, I'm pretty sure this contract can and will break even. But I decided to put this [wts] here because it seems like long term investmnents are not for me. I need bitcoins at the moment and I don't really like the idea of getting a loan. I will sell it bellow the official price ofc since more than a month has passed. If you are interested you can PM me with a price you're willing to pay and we can talk about it.

Payouts are daily.

Escrow welcome.

Edit: Ok well, if mining contracts are not considered a service, mods please move this to the right section.
6603  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: July 11, 2014, 02:26:00 PM
In the official bitcoin-trader Facebook group, a user offered to perform the audit via a big company as suspicion is growing bigger.

Mark my words, no trusted audit is ever going to be done. This is a hyip and nothing more.

Someone bumped this thread and it reminded me of Phinnaeus... What happened to him?

Why Bitcoin Addresses Need to Go

Right now, Bitcoin is simply too difficult for the average person to use.

Paving the way for mainstream adoption, it seems, requires that we simplify and obfuscate away the confusing parts.

http://blog.onename.io/

what do you think? i like the idea.

Seriously? What would be hard to understand might be the technical side. But you don't need to have an idea of how it works in detail in order to use it. Maybe acquiring bitcoins could be time consuming at some cases but not hard. Bitcoin transactions on the other hand are the easiest thing ever. What would you do if you wanted to tranfer money otherwise? Go to a bank (or other money transfer service), waste your time waiting, give out your details and expect someone to handle it for you. Is that easier than copy-pasting a string of text and pressing a button? I don't think so.
6607  Economy / Services / Re: [P2Pool][Cheapest] Altcoin P2Pool Creation Service!!! Compiled within 24 hours!! on: July 11, 2014, 10:38:05 AM
So basically, you'll be the one operating the pool?
6608  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Completely decentralized and anonymous marketplace on: July 11, 2014, 06:46:38 AM
Interesting but Bitmessage is broken. Can be attacked and spoofing nodes. POW too easy flooding the network is a breeze.
This is not big problem yet. I use it long time and all ok and small holes can be fixed. But I think about alternative way to send messages, may be namecoin network can be used?

Have you even heard of the ip2 network? It's like TOR but I've never heard it had any fatal security holes.
6609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I discovered a nifty little trick [mining] on: July 11, 2014, 06:42:34 AM
The original Bitcoin-QT had the CPU Miner integrated into it.  GPU mining was then introduced, then FPGA, then ASICs.  Mining through the offline QT wallet is pointless for all but the most unwanted of CPU coins.

This feature was also available in the litecoin wallet and many altcoins sometime back. But that was in the day that mining with home computers actually had potential.
6610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin halving next week. Inflation cut by 50%. on: July 09, 2014, 03:52:43 AM
I see that there is alot of interest by the development team to do something to help the price recover. What in m opinion isn't being discussed enough is that the price is being driven by people's interest. No matter what the developers strugle to do, if the people don't have an interest to buy on a high price the price increase is never going to happen.

Not sure if this is good news for bitcoin But they would sell it for houndreads thousands for sure.
Sure it will sell for much.

6614  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec ASICs. We pay for signature. Weekly payouts on: July 08, 2014, 08:55:29 PM
I'm willing to hold coins in escrow as well if xBtec consideres doing this again.
6615  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. W on: July 08, 2014, 01:59:37 PM

6616  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: July 07, 2014, 09:36:05 PM
Yes i dont think there will be spots open during these days, i mean this and stunna sig are the most legit.

Ι was missing for 10 days, some more days and I would have missed this. I'm pretty sure there is a possibility for spots to open if FXO does what he said.
6617  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] [INTERNATIONAL] BUY CHOCOLATE IN BITCOINS on: July 07, 2014, 01:43:58 AM

The reason I asked is because I'm in the USA. The only people who would buy these online are from the USA since it's available in almost every other country in the world

Wouldn't it be the person that ordered that would get the fine for ordering those to get imported in a country where it is ilegal?
6618  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] [INTERNATIONAL] BUY CHOCOLATE IN BITCOINS on: July 06, 2014, 02:44:26 PM
SO kinder eggs are banned in the US because they contain a non eddible toy onside? Pretty crazy to hear huh?  Huh
If you look it up in wikipedia you'll see this statement from the US Food and Drug Administration The embedded non-nutritive objects in these confectionery products may pose a public health risk as the consumer may unknowingly choke on the object. It seems to me like they are trying to fool proof food products that are on the market. But seriously though, someone would have to be something more than illiterate to accidentaly choke on a chocolate egg that even on it's package says it has a toy inside.
6619  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] League of Legends Platinum Account on: July 06, 2014, 01:35:35 PM
As someone who playied league, I feel like I should let others know that it's super easy to recover an account trhough the support. And it's even easier if you've bough something from the ingame store with FIAT. Even if you change the password and email the previus owner can still get back his account by contacting the support aanswering some simple questions and providing information like the number of a paysafe card number used for the account.

If you are interested in buying this, make sure the seller will find a way to sell the account without having to trust him on not trying to regain access after the sell.
6620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin really really cheap right now? Or is it dying? on: July 06, 2014, 01:06:55 PM
really cheap. when btc (gold) rises, ltc (silver) will follow. money flows.

This has happened before but that's not how it always works. LTC might me one of the most reputable altcoins but it has been pointed out before that it's hard for it to compete with all those next gen ones. I don't see it dying at any time, but I believe other coins would have a greater benefit from a bitcoin uptrend.
