Overstock, Expedia, and Newegg are retail places that SELL the coins people spend, PayPal is person to person where people have to BUY bitcoin to send. Not all of those people will then sell coins, therefore there would be buying pressure where with the other there is selling.
It's not that hard to understand.
Actually most businesses that "accept bitcoin" accept through Coinbase/Bitpay, and they sell the bitoins. If the Paypal announcement is legit (and is about bitcoin), isn't PayPal simply competing with Coinbase/Bitpay? If that is the case, Coinbase/Bitpay will be in trouble. 1 BTC = XXXX.XX PPUSD  |

yes, less knowledgeable poeple might see apple's new payment system as bitcoins killer. how can a bunch of nerds compete against such a giant like apple? bitcoin is doomed, bla bla bla. I see apple's new payment system as pure hype. taking adv of the confusion bitcoin has caused, trying to pretend to be an alternative to bitcoin. exactly as canada's mint chip did. Apples payment system is another Facebook Credits, how did that end? It hasn't yet, Irelands central bank is supporting their next attempt at electronic spending vouchers. could you elaborate? (im from ireland and havnt heard of this) if you're not buying an iphone every other month, you're gonna have a bad time. is this about apple and their biometric banking app thing? how would that mean a bad time for those who dont use iphones? apple's clever use of fiat money is the future. buy an iphone b4 its too late! |

TO MUCH MANIPULATION!
We should suggest our governments to nationalize/sozialize and regulate bitcoin in a hard manner, to prevent Sandia's "Ask & Dump" manipulation and all other forms of manipulations. Government should also stipulate terms of growth orientieted towards government bonds.
