to me it looks like its the apple thing that will get going tomorrow
yes, less knowledgeable poeple might see apple's new payment system as bitcoins killer. how can a bunch of nerds compete against such a giant like apple? bitcoin is doomed, bla bla bla. I see apple's new payment system as pure hype. taking adv of the confusion bitcoin has caused, trying to pretend to be an alternative to bitcoin. exactly as canada's mint chip did. Apples payment system is another Facebook Credits, how did that end?

seems like there was way more demand for higher priced coins. weird?
If you know a TV you want will be on sale next week, you will wait to buy it. Btc has been getting cheaper and cheaper and cheaper for months, so why would the buyers not wait to buy? Everyone who has bought since April has seen their TV go on sale with minutes after buying. (It is almost as though fiat was deflationary compared to btc...) The big change is that there is no FOMO. No one is scared to sit in fiat. No one is afraid the price will rocket while they are sleeping. The last optimism was at 510, which coincided with huge numbers of bids. The question for the day: is there a price so low that everyone would jump at a chance to buy, even if the price might not be an absolute bottom? If so, what price is that? In other words: that TV is so cheap that I don't care if I lose $10 buying today, I am buying it now! I think it would be fitting if page 8888 coincides with the bottom. Post dumpers and coin dumpers might run out of ammo at the same time.

Big reduction in credit card fraud -> reduction in processing fees.

TO MUCH MANIPULATION!
We should suggest our governments to nationalize/sozialize and regulate bitcoin in a hard manner, to prevent Sandia's "Ask & Dump" manipulation and all other forms of manipulations, most of all selling.
Government should also stipulate terms of growth orientieted towards government bonds.

There is no answer to that. Bitcoin has no intrinsic value (ahem!). The demand for use in e-payments is unknown today and more so in the future, because of competition from other payment methods (including other cryptos) and from bitcoin IOUs rather than actual bitcoins. Apart from that, there is only demand for investment and speculation -- which is the price holding itself up by its bootstraps.

You can't separate manipulation from non-manipulation. It will require some kind of brain probe. And even then it will make no sense at all.

Isn't 'NY regulation' just a proposal/guideline?
