6601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of Bots on: October 27, 2018, 11:54:26 PM
Skilled exchange traders learned to use the programs facilitating trading process long ago. It can be as semi-automatic trade advisers and completely automatic bots.

These programs trace the price chart of an asset and find an optimum point for an entrance to the market. Completely automated soft does not assume intervention of the trader in process of the auction.

The strategy of bots in the crypto foreign exchange market, as a rule, comes down to the creation of "false" warrants. Warrants are formed with one purpose to provide the illusion around a digital asset. Thus, manipulate the price in the necessary direction, deceiving other investors. Fake warrants at the right time are simply canceled.

‼Bots in the market of cryptocurrencies is a serious problem. Owners of the crypto exchanges need to think seriously of maintaining own reputation and to introduce internal rules and restrictions.

But they're legal, afaik. Bots have its own pros and cons so its really so we really can't do anything about it. Although I haven't used bots of sort in my trading, others find in advantageous though. Yes, it might send false warrants so you have to be very careful as a traders. Besides, this is just bots, we humans still makes the decisions to its still up to us if we wanted to used it or not.
6602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 27, 2018, 11:45:26 PM
I still don't understand why ICO requires kYC specially for bounty hunters or even investors. So I'm totally against it, what would happened to your personal information after the ICO itself? Will the ICO destroyed it or will they keep the data for later used? Its a bit scary so I'm really not comfortable with it.
6603  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin and decreases in 2017 and 2018. on: October 23, 2018, 01:50:04 AM
even bitcoin prices will not fall to the price of $ 5k in the future, I'm sure there are still many investors who will invest long term.
well I still wait to reach $ 20k again  Cheesy
We have a full report on the price movements and stabilities or instabilities exist in 2017 last year and in this current year almost all the investors know very well about prices and their movements. We have been noticing that value is stable after a downfall we had price fewer than 10k dollar and now the price is still here. I hope that 2019 will be very good year for all of us as we are here to make sure we will get profit.
The problem with a lot of people was that they expected just too much from the market in short term, had no understanding of how to invest or even the knowledge of the risk within the crypto space, and all these put together is something that I expect anyone should always be conversant with when it comes to investment. However, greed, laziness to study and some other factors, blinded some people. nonetheless, this does not change the fact that even though 2018 has been bearish, in the long term, the market is still bullish as far as I am concerned.

I agree and that kind of investors are long gone by now. Crypto space are dominated by more experienced traders and gone are those noobs who think that its a get rich scheme. The only positive thing they can get is to learn a good lessons because 2018 is really different.
6604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now hot topic - Whats wrong with it? on: October 23, 2018, 01:39:31 AM
There's nothing wrong with ETH being the hot topic because its the number 2 coins behind bitcoin. Besides its current situation, ETH has a bright future with its support with the ERC-20 based tokens being offered by all ICO's right now.
6605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Crash on: October 23, 2018, 01:10:57 AM
Since September 13 that you open this thread bitcoin is still alive and many good news has started coming in.  Don't believe those that said this clash is going to last for long and some of them said that bitcoin is heading toward $1500 we are about to see recovery and buying is the best investment decisions we can make now.

Yes, I see the same sentiments. There are a lot of positive news like the BAKKT offerings next month that might trigger bull runs before the end of the month. So don't believed on others saying that bitcoin will crash because it won't happened and those saying that the end is near is just a pure hater.
6606  Economy / Economics / Re: Is It Possible that The Moslem Countries Can Accept The CryptoCurrencies System? on: October 23, 2018, 12:31:27 AM
That could be a great possibility that the moslem countries will accept the cryptocurrency system, because this technology does not prefer any religion across the world , this technology is for digital currency, and every people and countries have the chance to use them ,that if they accept and would really like cryptocurrency.

I'm not a Moslem but I'm heard that they already see crypto investment as not against their law (correct me If I'm wrong) so its a good news specially for our Moslem brothers who are also a devoted crypto investors. And it only shows that crypto has no boundaries whatsoever and it can truly revolutionizes how everyone perceived money as form of investments and it can change the landscape of the financial world.
6607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade on: October 23, 2018, 12:23:22 AM
Many coins are still moving fast, try to check the value of the coin that has dropped so sharply, then you observe 2 days, there will be a big change from before.

If it moves so fast, I don't think it will profitably gain good profits soon. We know that the market behaves badly, and day trade is not recommended for this time. Hopefully longer terms will be learned prior applying day trades for this current market, so that we eventually experience a much better progress for our crypto market in the next few days remaining this year 2018.

That's where the bots comes in, because they are fully automated and every seconds count, that's why experienced traders really takes advantage of trading bots. But I have to agree that we have learn so much in the bear market as compare to bull season we see last year. Now we make a lot of adjustments in our trading and not just hope that we woke up the next morning the price suddenly skyrocketed.
6608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 23, 2018, 12:10:21 AM
The best way is by holding and selling it on a reputable exchange when the price goes up. That way you are sure of what you are doing

Yep, this is one strategy that is 100% sure you won't be scammed. But for those noobs out there, just try to DYOR before investing your hard earn money. Don't just blindly trust anyone who claims that they can double your bitcoin in short amount of time because that's not investing but pure speculating and there's no such kind of investment that can give your returns without being scammed.
6609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 22, 2018, 10:48:57 PM
You guys keep asking about ETH price again and again. Don't you guy know how to be patient? You should know that nobody know what will happen to price of ETH if it will rise back or not. Maybe you can get a lot of predictions but can you ensure that they'll be true? I don't know if it's the end of ETH or not although I also believe in ETH but let's see.

And if I may add, there's a lot of doom sayers here, Lmao. Ethereum has still the best fundamentals out of all the altcoins out there so I would say that we're going to see the end of it. Maybe this is the first time that we seen it struggled, but then again, we're in what we call bear season so it only make sense that it will also been affected by the sentiments of the market.
6610  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will a coin die? on: October 22, 2018, 10:38:30 PM
What is the price at which a coin is considered dead or when an exchange decides to delist the coin?
Like bitcoin was 20k in jan so if it reaches less than 1k we can consider it dead?

As long as there's investors willing to buy then the coins won't simply die, those coins that's being de-listed by exchanges have been dead for like months, no activity, no volumes whatsoever that's why its only appropriate for them to be de-listed, but this is not the case for bitcoin. And even it goes to $1K, I'm sure that everyone will still try to purchase it because its very cheap at that price.
6611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you track what happens in Crypto industry daily? on: October 22, 2018, 10:28:19 PM
Most news are not real so basically it's not really helpful if you just rely on daily news but if do you have a tools to monitor the sudden changes of the price of the market then just focus on that because it will help you a lot and of course. Read the other news so that you can compare the truth or lies or fud for your future preference.

I first visit this forum every day and I think if you want to know some latest news then this forum would be one of the best source because you can have an idea of what people think about it. Secondly, I am using tradingview to check the price and the ideas of the trades there in which they would show their charts and I compare it with mine. They also have a news section there in which you can check what are the latest happenings in the cryptoverse.

Yes, there's no doubt that this forum is the best source of anything related to crypto. And if FUD gets inside this community, it was immediately debunked by more legendary members to not create panic specially from noobs. And as far as trading, there's also a lot of experience members here, they might not tell their secrets, but at least they give some friendly tips.
6612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: October 22, 2018, 01:16:37 PM
Actually, its what keeps bitcoin at the stable price of $6000. Just imagine if holders dumps bitcoin, the price could really go down and hit bottom. So no, its not the primary cause of the dramatic price fall. What's causes the price to plummet is because newbie traders panic and then investors lost its interest because of so much negative news.
6613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Scam Strategy on: October 15, 2018, 11:11:56 PM
Good job of finding this one. These scammers keeps on reinventing their scheme with different coins. They should get a life and stop fooling people with their scams. So that's what they do, they are taking advantage of it by misinforming people.

I agree. Scammers keeps evolving as well that's why we need to be very careful and due or due diligence before succumbing to them. I hope that a lot of new members will read what the OP has exposed here to sad they won't also fall for the trap. Good catch OP.
6614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: October 14, 2018, 09:59:15 PM
Yes, I agree that IOST is really a good project. I remember back in May, the coin really took off and it even goes as high as top 10-15 coins if I'm not mistaken so I see that investors are willing to join the bandwagon pushing IOST on the list again.
6615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Congrats to DGTX for hitting top 100 coin ahead of its trading platform launch! on: October 14, 2018, 09:37:58 PM
Right now I am holding these coins because I believe it will be a huge potential to be success. I am hoping that I will grow to the moon soon.

The ship is taking off, top 70 now!

But its down $0.124373 USD (-11.88%) right now so I don't know what's the buzz is all about. For all we know if has been pumped already so I don't know if its going to the moon or even grow in the next couple of months.

6616  Economy / Economics / Re: The money started coming back to the cryptocurrency market on: October 14, 2018, 09:20:28 PM
i think the money is still out of market because market value is still low and when we can remember  value of market while bitcoin was 20 000 dollars  we can understand that big money still out and it is waiting to come back the market again i think one day the big money  will start to enter the market and we will see new high value in market.

Obviously there's no money in because all the price is still down as compare to last year. The only thing that will bring the influx of new money to the market is a Bitcoin ETF but it's still out of the equation because SEC hasn't yet decided the faith of Van Eck/Solid X Bitcoin proposal. So what we can do is wait and see how everything goes in the next coming months.
6617  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Positive or negative promotion strengthens crypto market? on: October 14, 2018, 09:05:20 PM
Always positive promotions only strengthens crypto market, it will bring more and more new investors in to the market. The market will move forward and negative promotions will affect the market.

I agree. Only positive news can bring positive outcome to the market. You just have to look at what happened last year, the price went to the moon because of so much positive news popping around. As compare to this year wherein there's a lot of FUD and negative news like regulations and government hard stance on crypto.
6618  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: October 14, 2018, 08:56:20 PM
Exchanges and ICO developers need to guard against hackers move and strategies and regularly update there site against intruders, I hope with a form of policy and regulation in the space, it will be easy to track hackers and scammers in the space as Identity will be use to access wallet.

The problem is that there are a lot of hackers so its going to be hard just to trace at least one hacker because they are really smart and they can hide the coins in an exchange or can even used mixing services to put a stop on their tracks. So its hard for authorities to make a follow up.
6619  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: October 13, 2018, 11:04:56 PM
I prefer campaign, because the campaign really educates us, and makes us always want to learn again, also the campaign does not express capital, but can earn income.

Lol. How can campaign educate us? Campaign means promoting the project by carrying this signature. If you wanted to be educated here, you can just look around in the forum without any campaigns. However, I believed that its less riskier because there's no capital involved on our part.

6620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening to ETH? on: October 13, 2018, 10:52:02 PM
Maybe it's because at the same time the stock market has fallen sharply? But it's just a guess. In the next two months we will know how the crypt market will continue to behave. Everyone is waiting for the Bitcoin.

This is also my hunch as to why crypto in general experience a sharp decline in the last couple of days. Stock market falls sharply and the domino effect is has to crypto is very solid. Right now though it seems that its over as some altcoins seems to bounce back and ETH is just below $200 (at $199.xx).
