6622  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: July 11, 2016, 05:34:15 AM
After a few months I don't think Steam accepting Bitcoin has affected the 'Digital Goods' board in BitcoinTalk.

Prices are still relatively cheap over here. Like GTA V selling for $15 and CS:GO accounts selling for $4.
meh
people can  pay their games directly on steam without any voucher so why get bother in digital goods, and also just like summer sale few weeks ago which makes CSGO worth about $4,5 in SEA if i'm not mistaken, and cheap prices on digital goods does make sense because of this

I agree. People can just use a VPN to get the lowest regional price for a game on steam or just buy a key from a third party side which is almost the same.
6623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARE NEWBIES CONSIDERED AS FOOLS? on: July 11, 2016, 05:29:38 AM
For a long time on this forum, I see people demonizing newbies for anything. From What I see, a new is considered as someone who doesn't 'know anything and is not supposed to say anything. Whatever you do, you will be told that "you are newbie". I ask myself, does it mean that newbies don't have a voice?

I realized some people build up their accounts and sell them when they are on a higher rank. They then start another account of which they will definitely start as a newbie. Can this person also be considered "worthless"?

No newbie is considered worthless. Everybody was a newbie once he started with bitcoins. Of course they have a voice like everybody else just people will likely not listen to the voice.

Most people I met on this forum are actually very helpful and friendly towards a newbie.

There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers.
6624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Minecraft: Use and earn bitcoin inside the game on: July 11, 2016, 05:25:43 AM
Hi Everyone!

A lot of us love to play minecraft and there is one thing that is more interesting about it.

Players of minecraft can now easily buy in-game currency and blocks using bitcoins. Bitquest, a minecraft server is the first to utilize bitcoin for its economic component in which players can USE and EARN BTC within the Minecraft game. It does not earn you much but this is like earning bitcoin while doing your thing.

If you want to know more about this minecraft server, you can check the link below:

Minecraft servers that run on Bitcoin

We would like to know your thoughts, experiences, suggestions and/or questions. Smiley

Please give some more information like how long you played there and how much you earned in the time.

Thanks a lot
6625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting a Bitcoin Gambling Network on: July 11, 2016, 05:23:16 AM
The standard game any gaming site should have is dices with manual and auto betting. Lottery is also pretty common.

If you are looking for something different I would recommend poker. There are not a lot of casinos online working with bitcoins offering poker. Mostly due the nature of the game as the house has no edge here. Your income would solely come from rake you take per hands played.

I would definitely play (=
6626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another newbie! have a few questions on: July 11, 2016, 05:17:19 AM
Blockchain.info is definitely a good choice for your first online wallet. There is no ID verification or even a phone number required. So if you are looking for anonymity I would get my wallet here.

Keep in mind the less information you provide the less security you have. It all depends on how much bitcoins you want to deposit. If its less than 1 btc go for blockchain. Otherwise I would consider a desktop wallet.

6630  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: XAPO Hot Wallet Service did turn into SCAM! BE AWARE ! on: July 09, 2016, 09:31:10 PM
The thing is... my Xapo wallet still works fine. Granted, I don't have anything close to 1BTC in it... in fact, it barely has close to 0.001BTC Tongue

But I can still log in and send/receive bitcoins to the account. So what is happening here, is that a few users (I think there was more than one?) are having some issues with Xapo, and throwing around SCAM accusations, because they're upset at the poor service and that their bitcoins are unavailable to them. Fact of the matter is, Paypal freezes peoples accounts all the time and people don't label them a scam. Annoying and shitty? yes... scam? no.

If they have blocked the OPs account because he violated the ToS, well... then it depends on exactly what ToS they are claiming he violated. If they're playing the "issue violations on technicalities" game, and failing to provide any sort of customer service to help resolve the issue, then that sucks and shows poor management and customer service on Xapo's part... but that doesn't make them a scam. It makes them a crappy Bitcoin wallet.

Yes. This is what happened basically. XAPO is not a scam wallet, they are far away from being one, as far as I am aware.
But XAPO customers are blindly believing that their bitcoins are not being 'regulated' by XAPO internal set of rules - clearly presented in their ToS.
And later when someone's account is suspended because he broke some 'stupid' rule (probably without even realizing it) he cries and call it a scam.

Any new user should take a look at the website first before using it. Especially with all these high profile names involved with xapo I believe they will try everything to avoid illegal activities. The negative PR would cost them more than earning on the site.
6631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best trusted website to earn btc? on: July 09, 2016, 09:27:03 PM
this is the best trusted website to earn btc, get a high rank then joint signature campaign, from the start you will earn small amount of btc, but everyday you will learn from forum, you will not notice you will be in the high ranking position, just keep posting and posting everyday to earn more btc.

It will take the OP months to get to a high rank account.

I think its nothing wrong with faucets at the start. Don't waste too much time but you at least have some Satoshi to start with.

Also have a look for giveaways in the forum. You won't get much for free but its a start.
Why do you think that there is nothing wrong with faucets?
That's true, doing good rank isnt a easy and short task, but you will get surely more profit doing these 10-15 post's everyday to get ranked up quick, than clicking dumb faucets.

You are right levelling up your account and reading the forum should be the goal if you want to take part in the signature campaigns. It will takes month.

I am not recommending doing hours of faucets per day. But even with 10min in the morning and evening you can get some coins. With a smart phone you can solve the captcha even in the subway.
6632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I benefit from btc? on: July 09, 2016, 02:52:46 PM
How can I benefit from btc? I mean let's say I bought 2 btc, what next? how can I earn more of btc or dollars
Why do people rush over btc if it's just an electric currency without having benefit from it?

The first ting to Profit from Bitcoins you would Need to own them. Even if you don't want to trade/loan/invest or gamble with Bitcoins it still makes sense to just hold them in your wallet and wait for rising values.

You can look at Bitcoins as at any other currency. They don't earn interest for you or any other Profit. If you just Keep the Money in the bank the only profit you can earn is from converting it at a higher price back to your original currency.

If you have Money to invest I would definitely put a small part into Bitcoins, just for the diversification.

Yes, CS:Go can take up to one day to update, don't worry.
It is the same with the daily quest "win 10 rounds" you will just get it ~1 day later.

Check if your have set an wallet for payouts.
A friend of mine had to hit the "create a wallet" button before he could get payouts.

Ok thanks for the info. What wallet are you using for digibyte?
6634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Online Digibyte Wallet on: July 09, 2016, 01:04:32 PM
I am looking forward in investing in Digibyte is there any online wallet for it like Coinbase or Blockchain.
Thanks

Hi, Did you find online wallet good for you? I also have a few coins I would like to store. If not in an online wallet, where do you store your Digibytes? Are you spending them?

Seems not pretty active the market for digibytes.
6635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What would the income rates be like for Digibytegaming? on: July 09, 2016, 12:48:44 PM
The Website does not look active to me anymore. Claims are just delayed untol to actually Show up on the web-Balance or are not even correct.

I did a few games yesterday with the following stats: Games Win 48 Kills 69 Amount 18.0. The Balance seems wrong as they offer Per Game Win: 0.28 DGB Per Kill: 0.28 DGB I would expect more like 32 coins.

These 18 coins I got are around 1000 Satoshi after 2-3hrs of gaming. Looks to me like any faucet site.

In case no one wants to buy here, try bitskins.com. They work with Bitcoins and a key for 2$ should sell instantly.
6637  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Gaming Accounts: Origin + UPlay + Battle.net on: July 09, 2016, 08:25:17 AM
Hi Guys,

as I finished most of the games and won't be playing any of these anymore, I hope someone else might have fun with them. I created all of these accounts years ago, nothing hacked or stolen.

Preferably I would like to sell all three accounts together for 20$ in BTCs of course.

Escrow is no Problem as I am still a Junior member.

Unfortunately all accounts are registered to my personal email adress. You will receive Login + PW + Security Answer. You will be able to fully Change all of the security Information. I won't have Access to account anymore.

PM me if interested.

Thanks

Probably. Good luck with the sale.
Maybe sell the key on G2A? Not really sure how it works but they have G2APay which has Bitcoin.
For $20 it should instantly sell.

I am not too sure to be honest.

Thanks for tip. I thought G2A is only for Keys and not for full account. I will definitely take a look. As Long as a payout is not fixed to PayPal I might be a good site.

Anyone actively using the gaming site?

It seems to me there is quite a delay in registering games in CS GO. I played a few games yesterday but only got the confirmation for the games today.

Also the Status for the Claims is at Confirmed  but my web-balance doesn't Show the coins. Anyone else having These Problems?

6640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I MAY Be getting new computer if I can help it on: July 09, 2016, 06:29:55 AM
Intel Core i3-2120 3.3Ghz Dualcore CPU with Hyperthreading

The processor is mentioned above. What sort of coins can be mined with these specs? Would love to know.

I heard CPU mining is nearly over, but if I can get a few altcoins out of this, I'd be pleased.

I am no expert here but try to look into ETH mining. There quite a few successful miners. You can also use your GPU to mine altcoins.
