All I can see here is mosprognoz is great at sussing out scam projects or at least projects with scammy features. By creating such a stir here all you are doing is assuring that many more critical eyes will be taking a look at Bankera shortly. You better hope all your shit is in order over there because you just woke up the beast.
6642  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: August 11, 2019, 07:14:30 AM
Jason Smith gives up on BSV, sells for BTC and apologizes in My Conclusions regarding Craig Wright on Medium.

Quote
My conclusions led me to divest completely from my BSV holdings, and put everything back in to BTC, where it will remain.

I remember seeing the Jason Smith tweet in February, and he still comes off as lost as fuck, especially since his main reason for coming back to bitcoin seems to be based on dumbshit, such as craig wright is not really satoshi.

So maybe Jason Smith will get his shit together in the coming months and be able to stay convicted in regards to the actual strengths of bitcoin instead of merely coming off as a kind of exaggerating and waffling attention whore.

Never heard of the guy. His tweet storm makes no sense, wanting to use LN to pay his employees. On-chain transactions are perfectly fine for that. He can even use 1 sat/byte fees for that since payments like that don't need instant settlement.

The dude's a moron. He was taken in as Roger Ver's darling shortly after his anti-BTC tweet rant, who offered bitcoin.com as a platform to run several stories where he could offer is malformed viewpoints. Smith was too cheap to pay on-chain fees for his OFW's (overseas Filipino workers), and found Lightning perplexing (nevermind the fact that using LN would also require his workers to have their own LN wallets).

It seems like he ditched BCH for BSV for BTC, so that part is nice.

Supported your flags. Two of those morons already left me negative trust for simply opposing the flag they made against you, or else sending you merits. Its late here so I'm going to bed, but I'll definitely check it out more thoroughly in the morning.

Is there any worst possible idea?
A new IBM patent describes a peer-to-peer network for managing and storing browsing session data on a blockchain.
Quote
The browser collects pre-specified information from web browsing sessions, according to the patent. The information is then transferred to a network of peer-to-peer nodes for collection and storage.

LOL. Indeed, that's about the worst blockchain application I've ever heard of. Maybe its good for work employees so their boss can make sure they're not screwing around too much. I remember being addicted to MySpace while working at a health insurance company, as many others were, so the company blocked access to it, then I discovered proxy servers and used those every day. There's no way (or point) to limit a bored employee from accessing the internet.

I am wearing one of those and someone want to save my browsing history on the blockchain...

Double LOL. +1 WO merit.

One thing about your flag: since you actually lost money to this person, you could have opened a type 2 or 3 flag - they are more severe and the warning to not deal with this user is more prominent on every thread they open. Up to you if you want to make a new flag or not.
6646  Economy / Reputation / Re: This game-protect fuck is the best annoying character on: August 10, 2019, 09:53:46 AM
I just did that on my trust settings for him.  I definitely don't trust his feedbacks and I'm pondering whether I should leave him a neg--he's not a scammer, but he's doing his best to ruin people's reputations without good reason and that's not cool.
He's just trolling at this point. You might disagree but he's too mature to be spamming someone's reputation as he knows that wouldn't mean shit. That makes me conclude, he just wants attention and members are giving it to him.

Feel free to vote for him in my official troll poll if you'd like. He's currently in 3rd place:

WARNING: This project has hired a notorious thread bumping service used by scams to promote fraudulent projects, such as Bitconnect 2 and Blue Hill Mining.  Because of this project's association with this service, there is a strong possibility it is a scam. Investors are forewarned to be extremely careful before investing in a project that would hire this type of service.

Your American education system has failed you that is why you don't understand my comment.

I understood your comment perfectly. You want to convey that you are a prick who thinks they know things they don't. It was pretty clear.

The entire world is being squeezed by America's corporate profiteers. Whatever Sanders can do to lessen the stranglehold (if anything) is welcomed.

Assuming this would naturally lead to a depression and mass layoffs is nothing but your assumption. We did have a recession under Bush and we may have a recession under Trump, which would throw every theory you have about how the economy works right out the window.
6651  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Spammer Blacklist] The Shitlist on: August 09, 2019, 06:19:17 PM
What's interesting is, I copy/pasted your list into my own Ignore list just to see how it felt, and for the most part I agree with it. But then strangely I saw that you merited a post by a user hidden by your own list!  Cheesy

I do make use of the Show/Hide feature quite a bit, so I don't blame you, I just thought it was a little bit funny. OK that's all I have to say. Please don't add me to your list for this post, then I'd have to ignore myself.
6652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈The Official 2019 Super Bowl Poll🏈🏈 on: August 09, 2019, 03:34:59 PM
You guys remember when I went 7 for 7 in my post season NFL picks earlier this year?

Well, probably not, because this thread only has 135 views!  Cheesy

Well, Pepperidge Farms remembers, and I remember too.

Think I'm going to start one of those thread people like to make documenting their picks, for this upcoming season, which starts less than a month away. Its currently the 2nd week of preseason. NFL games, especially early on, can be pretty tough to call. I will probably just call 1 a week during the regular season and see how I do.

6653  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bernie Sanders goes viral on the Joe Rogan Experience on: August 09, 2019, 03:17:12 PM
LOL.  The stock market will drop 80% if this moron gets elected.

Capital will flee to Asia.  USD will collapse. Gold will be re-priced, north of 3K. US military complex will be undermined which will lead to major changes to the world's political map.

China, Russia will exert their might, annex few countries, control Africa and the Middle East.  South America will turn socialist and follow in the footsteps of Venezuela.

You better hope Bernie is not elected.  His election would lead to structural economic and political changes that will not be easy to reverse.

People were saying the exact same things about Trump - maybe even worse - and what actually happened? Nothing. Nothing happened. There's a lot of butt hurt people walking around moaning about how awful he is but really nothing has changed. The presidency is more of a figurehead position. The tide will likely turn against Trump in 2020, but will the machinations of the government actually change, regardless of who replaces him? Slightly, at best.
6654  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bernie Sanders goes viral on the Joe Rogan Experience on: August 09, 2019, 12:58:05 PM
Joe is a waste of podcast time, no real value.

Au contraire. If it wasn't for Joe Rogan I probably would have never gotten interested in bitcoin. It wasn't thanks to him so much as Andreas Antonopoulos appearing on his podcast. He's been on 3 times as far as I know, and each time is awesome. There is not a clearer, more well spoken ambassador to the world for bitcoin than Andreas.

I first heard about bitcoin on an NPR podcast in 2011, but they were so dry and boring about it, all I could think was that it was "nerd money." Who cared? I sure didn't.

Rogan's podcast has become so huge, its now a force to be reckoned with. Its pretty much become a form of mainstream media, despite still being "just a podcast."

Him being a nice guy doesn't detract from the quality of his podcast.

If it had no value, millions of people wouldn't watch/listen to it every week. I mean, the same can be argued for Alex Jones, who I find to be an utter shitstain of a person, yet my opinion doesn't take away from the value that other people find in him.
6655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 09, 2019, 10:14:16 AM
It really supports his claim of how the jews are backing bitcorn to steal all your precious gold Cheesy

Not quite what you were hoping for, but here's a roundabout way jews are taking bitcoin from nazis:

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/neo-nazi-website-founder-owes-14-million-woman-he-urged-n1040671

given that the website in question runs mainly on bitcoin donations (or at least it did at one point).

I hope Bernie Sanders becomes the next U.S. president just to make all the anti-semitics go even more beserk than they already are. Every time a racist idiot realizes they're a failure at life, they just blame the jews. Seems to be a lot of them these days. If you're an American, you have the advantage of blaming either the mexicans or the jews. I wonder who the Israelis blame... probably Palestinians.

I think that the elpaso false flag by the JS aims is among others to try to divide the europeans from the south americans...

Of course you do! Anybody else have any overbearingly obvious opinions they want to give? In 4.5 pages of comments there's about 3 original thoughts.

6659  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reuben Godfrey on: August 08, 2019, 08:43:29 AM
Keplertek paid us in KEP tokens just want to put it out here, it might make some people feel better.

Tokens that you dumped on an exchange 6 days prior to the announcement that the coin had been listed, helping to permanently cripple the price. But lets face it, you sold at the best possible time since this project was a scam from the get go.

You didn't think Kepler might be a scam after the bounty fiasco happened? First they announce their hard cap had been reached:

Then you announce the bounty hunter token allocation was to be cut 95%, as it was based on the "total tokens sold" and not 3% of the total token supply. To quote you,

Quote
It's based on total token sold and not base on total token.

Then when asked why the total bounty supply would be cut when the project announced they had reached their hard cap (max tokens sold), you said this:

Quote
There were a lot of scammers and fraudulent people that joined our bounty campaign and we have to rid of them one by one. According to our CEO 60%-70% of bounty participants are fraudulent and so we needed to rid of them one by one. Our CEO has taken the lead in correcting and rectifying some mistakes that was done earlier.

So... how does this logically reduce the rewards for the legitimate bounty hunters? Oh, you are inferring this is how:

Quote
Hard cap wasn't exactly totally reached because our hard cap was set at $15M, so we almost hit it. But the bulk of the money  from private investors nothing to do with our public ICO. Our public ICO was not that good as we expected as we only got $1M+ from it. It was from the personal network of our CEO that we were able to get some private investors thus we almost hit the hard cap.

You changed your story 3 times -- regardless of whether or not you thought it was the right thing to do from a business standpoint, you have surely worked for some shitty scammers in your day, which means that your judgment is suspect. The current project you are promoting, Decoin, has Kepler CEO Giorgi Topuria as an advisor, and knowing that, you still continue to work for them.

Just like Godfrey, who is great for fundraisers and a curse for investors, everything Topuria touches will turn to shit. Do you want to have the same reputation?

Then, this guy was exactly right, wasn't he?

Quote
Their intention is to make money by dumping the coins in the exchange because unsold coins should be burned. If they cut the bounty % definitely they will make another 1 or 2 million by dumping in the exchanges.

That's exactly what happened. I would say you got a far better deal than the investors you misled.

I'm not going to consider removing your tag for another 6 months or so, until you've proven you don't knowingly work with scammers.
6660  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Zealand ChristChurch mass shootings >:( >:( on: August 08, 2019, 04:33:00 AM
So your point is all of these companies have the right to form effective monopolies, then deny anyone they don't like services?

No, I never said any of that. Obviously what Cloudflare does isn't a monopoly.

How long do you think it will be before sites like Bitcointalk are denied these services?

Never, because this isn't the breeding grounds of manifesto-writing mass murderers.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/founder-8chan-wishes-he-could-uncreate-forum-popular-white-supremacists-n1039496

Quote
“There is no way I can go back and uncreate 8chan,” Brennan, 25, told NBC News on Tuesday from his home in the Philippines. “If I could, I would, but there is no way to do that. So the main way I have dealt with the guilt is to go on the offensive.”

Ask Theymos how things would run around here without access to Cloudflare. It is not at all hyperbole. Just because it is happening indirectly doesn't mean it isn't happening.

It is hyperbole until it happens, or comes close to happening. What's happening is you like getting worked up over conspiracies that don't effect you in any way, shape, or form. We're on the brink of civil war according to you, so its hard to take anything you have to say very seriously.

For you to pretend that censorship is not brought on by government and corporate pressure is absolutely asinine and intentionally ignorant. It is not even up for debate. Just because they haven't crushed everyone on every outlet yet does not mean they aren't denying access to tons of basic services which are in effect monopolies.

Provide some evidence. Just a shred. Its not up for debate with you because you can't present a rational debate. You live in the richest, free-est country in the world, and all you do is bitch about how unfair everything is and how America is on the brink of ruin. Get a grip.

Regarding Verizon, you are incorrect. They do not have that right, as they are regulated as a utility, as such they do not have the legal authority to deny people service based on their speech (short of it violating law).

OK, well I can't find any specific law that backs this statement, but I will give the benefit of the doubt here because it actually makes sense at face value.

Again, this is 100% a valid point as this trend has been and will continue, and by your metric its perfectly ok to deny basic goods and services to people based only upon their speech. This is the INEVITABLE result of your logic.

There is a giant difference between being denied food and water and being denied DDoS protection services. Only in a place as spoiled and entitled as America would people get this confused.

You just pretending it will never go that far is not a valid retort.

Its more valid than pretending that it will, because so far, you're wrong, and I'm right. It hasn't happened. When people are denied food and water based on the content of their speech, I will admit I was wrong. Until then, you're wrong.

All this is, is the American version of the Chinese social credit system. Soon people who say the wrong things will not be able to leave the country, use public transport, open a bank account, have a phone, or any of the basic necessities in a modern life. Don't worry though, you called me paranoid, so everything will be fine.

Hasn't happened. Won't happen. Yes, you are paranoid. Where do you think is a better place to live in the world? I am genuinely curious. Which nation do you think does a better job of protecting your freedoms?
