6661  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to poverty - Socialism or Capitalism? on: June 17, 2014, 11:29:11 AM
A socialist society eliminates the unjust relationship between labor and capital that gives rise to poverty. By taking away the capitalists’ right to exploit labor, the working class is free to decide how the fruits of our labor are used. Needless to say, under this system no one will go without the basic necessities of life.

You obviously haven't tasted on your own the benefits of a socialist society.
All that you claim it's happening only in theory , in real life it's 20 times worse than capitalism.

In all fairness, in the today's world; there is no country to follow a pure socialistic or capitalistic ideology. You can't expirience neither of them because they don't exist in their pure form anymore.
6662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 17, 2014, 11:10:36 AM
I see too much optimism for darkcoin around the forum. People don't realise that the price was pumped deliberately by supporters and whales. This brought a general uptrend after more people noticed and huge volumes kicked in in the exchanges. But uptrends don't last forever. See what's going on with doge at the moment? Remember the panic sale and the price or Ripple sinking after the founder announcing that he'll be selling his ripples? Nothing lasts forever, at leat litecoin has been fairly stable lately. That's unlike most of coins of the future mentioned here.

i m back!
seems like the IPO do not succeed... Huh

What did you expect? Come back and see a handfull of bitcoin in your walet? The concept behind this is nothing new nor something people would want to invest in. You should first try and get your self established and show us that you're capable of doing some work before asking selling an IPO for your concept.
6664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble incoming! $3800 - $4000 expected on: June 17, 2014, 10:57:29 AM
People take this way too seriously. RSI can't predict the human factor.

6665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: wallet question on: June 17, 2014, 10:49:05 AM
Nodes are conected to your wallet if it's a wallet with the full blockchain (like Bitcoin Core for example).

24 retweets, doesn't seem huge as you claim Cheesy

Either way, they're a big company and already handle a huge volume of transactions in a daily basis. This is good news no matter how you take it.
6668  Other / Off-topic / Payment Processor DigitalRiver Inc. to Accept Bitcoin! on: June 16, 2014, 07:21:19 PM
They just tweeted this. This is a 30$ billion company, this is either going to be huge, or bigger than huge.

I'll just go ahead and lock this thread. It's old and irrelevant now. I wonder why people keep replying.

Does Bitcointalk store the IP of users?

It does. But only theymos (and maybe some mods) have access to them. What's for sure though is that they're never going to get public. And besides that, finding someone by his IP address is not something easy to do. Even if he was using his real IP you'd only be able to get an idea of his general area by it. Puting charges on someone just by knowing his IP is not even considered as evidence too.
6673  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: • CRYPTORY • — MAXIMIZE YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL WITH CRYPTORY! on: June 16, 2014, 09:42:49 AM
Why you wrote warning scam, blockchain clearly show transaction of 0.002. It is not good for honest admin.

It's not that he's wrong or anything. You'd come here crying if this ends up closing before you had your money out. And you know that this could happen at any time. That's why it's a scam, every hyip should be considered a scam.

6675  Economy / Securities / Re: Coinpal Investor alert "recovery process in motion" on: June 16, 2014, 05:55:23 AM
Why do you think Coinpal is a scam? From what I understand they have taken a long time to deploy their actual exchange, but that it went live a few days ago. From what I can tell on cryptostocks, CS froze trade activity on their shares without notifying them. While I would stay away from them, I wouldn't start filing a suit this early. Will be interesting to see what they post tomorrow

It's true that they send a divedend yesterday and cryptostocks is also having issues. But coinpal has come as close to being a scam as possible. The fact that cryptostocks is having problems does not justify the fact that they've fallen out of all the deadlines they set for themselves. The diveidends might keep coming in and indeed they're crazy high divedends. It's easier to asume that it's a scam since none of the promissed sevices have been debuted yet and therfore it seems like he's paying people with their own money.

Yeah right, be there before the fire erupts and everyone starts to dump coins.
6677  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ethnic cleansing in Ukraine. on: June 16, 2014, 05:46:45 AM
War will be over in a few days.

I'm not sure. Just today can be happen some deadly surprises.

The fact that rebels shat down a Ukrania plane doesn't say to me this is going to end any time soon. There are still many extremists and militia that have force there. And it's hard to control them.

Yes, FXO has been paying fine the past 2 weeks I've been involved and longer from what I can see, everyone stop worrying about it!

We are all going to get paid!

Yup. I'm not worried at all. Pretty sure that FXO will pay us in time like he always does.

Their current status is Normal. The company's current directors David Tormey and Peter Doyle have been the director of 447 other Irish companies between them; 199 of which are now closed.

All I get out if this is that running a shady hyip is legal by the Irish law. They even did it another 447 times.
