I think most of us usually lose the most when we are on a good running streak and get over confident such that we increase the stake instead of keeping the winning formula going all because of greed... It was good day for favorites today in FA Cup with Liverpool West Brom, Birmingham with Bristol City winning in extra time, but they are in very good form so this was no surprise for me.
Next round of FA Cup scheduled for the end of this month is going to be very interesting with some clashes from top clubs from Premier League.
I am happy to see both Southampton and Arsenal in next round, but Arsenal will have much harder job against Manchester City.
After checking odds for FA Cup winners I can see that Man City is biggest favorite to win, followed by Man United, Tottenham and Liverpool.
They are seriously underestimating Arsenal who won most FA cup trophies (14) and they are first in Premier league.
City although having many top players, their performance is quite unstable and they are fluctuating a lot. I definitely think Arsenal is a favourite team too but I can't deny that City could get healed soon and restart winning again. For Liverpool they won indeed but cannot score more than 1 goal.. I know City isn't stable but it is only in a couple of matches. With their formidable Squad and brilliant coach, No one would doubt that they would bounce back to their unbeaten form. Speaking of Liverpool's scoring ways, I will only consider their number of goals too small if they can't score against a weak team but their last match was against a strong side who also needed a win. Despite that in the last five league outing of psg, they lost 2 and won 3, they are still at the top of the Ligue one table with 3 points ahead of Lens. This shows that they are superior still but the good news is that we might not be seeing psg win league again with upto 12 to 15 points. This shows that other teams in the league are doing well. |
