6681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitCoin Keeps Bleeding As Crypto Price Go Below Expectation on: November 21, 2018, 11:33:50 AM
Bitcoin BTC, the first-historically speaking digital currency which prompted the introduction of the various crypto forms of money, has been confronting the fierceness of the bear since the previous week. The digital money is proceeding to contact new lows for the year, as far back as it made a record by relatively contacting $20,000. The market was on fire when it went underneath the $6,000-stamp. Following this, the assumptions of speculators were pulverized as the coin broken beneath the $5,000-check this week. Right now, a few financial specialists conjecture that the coin will dive more in the market. Do you believed Bitcoin will keep bleeding or gain balance soon?

There's no one who can tell you a perfect answer cause when the drop began it went to 4100$ levels and now it's slowly stabilising around 4500$, now one can say it will fall further, but other view says it seems to be finding some resistance it'll grow now. I feel these few days will be very volatile for bitcoins, we may see more volatility than usual, and now even Bakkt has been delayed it'll be interesting to see if it has any effect on the prices.
6682  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: November 21, 2018, 07:34:31 AM
Michael Moro, who is a CEO of a major crypto trading company, talks about how people who bought into Bitcoin at the beginning of 2017 at $1000, are now starting to sell their coins. Is this an indication of massive FUD? Is this the time where we should buy and take advantage of the FUD sellers?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

Source: https://www.ccn.com/crypto-investors-who-bought-bitcoin-at-1000-are-now-starting-to-sell/

This has fud written all over it, those people did not sell when it was 20k, now suddenly why will they sell it when it's the perfect time to dip in and accumulate at all dips. I had brought in parts in end of 2016, I moved out a bit when it rallied up, but just cause it's come I'm not going to sell, this is the worst time for selling your coins. I would strongly urge people to hodl on to your coins, just a bad phase it to shall pass.
6683  Economy / Economics / Re: Where’s the Fire? Bitcoin and Major Cryptocurrencies Take Massive Beating on: November 21, 2018, 04:31:53 AM
This to me is a consequence of the weakness of bitcoin, it is likely that many major players were waiting for a recovery by the end of the year like many people in the forum were doing, then they realized that was not going to happen and decided to get their money out of cryptocurrencies to other more profitable investments, to me that is the most simple and logical explanation.

This phase is temporary it's a blatant attempt by bitcoins cash to destabilise bitcoins, at first it seemed bad but now I'm relaxed knowing in few days the market shall recover again. I know these are tough times, but ask yourself prior to btc cash war was bitcoins weak, or was it stable and moving ahead. There is already bitcoins etf first of it's kind coming, people are gifting bitcoins for holidays so for me bitcoins shall recover and recover fast just be patient and hodl.
6684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Satoshi sold his BTC. on: November 20, 2018, 05:43:18 PM
Hello, Do you believe satoshi sold his BTC today so that is the reason why BTC price falls at the moment?

Or some big holder dumped his BTC.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/1ee11c8a24c9244f14c4d5a9c3670c13664f4ae8f7738c31b4f21221a5bdfbd1

Any opinions?

Hey no these are not Satoshi coins these are some exchanges moving their coins, I can understand every time such a huge quantity move happens every one suspects it's Satoshi. I would like you to first see the origin of the coin, here you can see it's from 2018, some research won't harm anyone, but will help fud from start spreading. I also don't think Satoshi will ever sell so relax.
6685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sorry I cannot Hold Anymore My Love! on: November 20, 2018, 01:59:29 PM
Im posting this in this section so that it will reach out directly to the admin and staff of this forum which Satoshi created. It seems like people had no more interest with BTC and they are dumping it already even if people are losing already their money. I know that this is not appropriate to talk this here but I would like to passed on my story about cryptocurrency to the new comers.

 To SATOSHI NAKAMOTO

Do you plan to make an announcement here in the forum you created? What to expect in BTC?

PS. Sorry for this post if you will find this offensive but this all because of the bad market situation.

Hey you brought bitcoins because your friend brought a classic tale of herd mentality, you jumped in when the prices were at a all time high, and now you wish to sell go ahead but remember you have yourself to blame no one else. The last part made me laugh hard you want Satoshi to suddenly activate his account after all these years for you, for your information he stopped coming here many years ago. I don't find it offensive, I find it dumb and hilarious hopefully other newbies will not follow his lead.
6686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The main reason for the bearish market today on: November 20, 2018, 11:38:51 AM
I think the main reason for the bearish market today is because of a decision made by SEC.

"We wish to emphasize, however, that market participants must still adhere to our well-established and well-functioning federal securities law framework when dealing with technological innovations.

I wonder if you're a bot or a troll or both, I don't even think at this stage anyone cares for what Sec thinks or does. If you're not aware then people stopped caring for sec a while back, cause everyone knows they would not be approving bitcoins etf, the fall was already factored in. This mess is because of the so called civil war between Bitcoins Cash owners, whose sole purpose is to destroy bitcoin. It's pertinent to note that right from it's onset it's been destroying bitcoin, we can only hope they stop doing it.
6687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 20, 2018, 08:05:52 AM
Now that was a great ending to a test match in a while. Congrats to New Zealand on the win as it looked unlikely when they didn't get at least a 200+ run lead. But to their credit they bowled well mainly thanks to Patel which I said was the man to win it for New Zealand as he was able to get the danger man Azhar Ali out lbw. Pakistan really need to work on their middle to lower order batting if they are to improve as a test match team.

The match ended like I had predicted that Pakistan weak batting line up will let them down. It's interesting that Pakistan have made their bowling line up very strong, but have made no efforts to strengthen their batting department which is very weak. All credit to Patel who turned out to be an unexpected hero for the kiwis. I'm excited to see India vs Australia now, and mind games have already began I feel team India will have a difficult time down under what do you'll think.
6688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise again in 2019 on: November 19, 2018, 05:28:01 PM
Hopefully it will happen as we have waited for a long year period of holding as we believed that it will bounce back before this year will end that if it will not again by next year then Bitcoin will be good as a bubble as it will be looks like the people will not be interested in this investment anymore.

Hey I can understand your frustration 2018 bearish trend continued all year round, and today bitcoin is down to 5k which is a creating quiet a stir. I know people are saying we should sell, but let's remember facts bitcoins was maintaining a stable price for the past few months, Bitcoins first etf is about to be launched. I feel once this madness is over we should see steady prices, and hopefully an upwards rally soon.
6689  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲🎲 BITDICE - Super Fast Betting! BTC/ETH/LTC/DOGE/CSNO 🎲🎲 on: November 19, 2018, 01:38:27 PM
For those interested we now have a Discord server up and running https://discord.gg/4AesTyP

That's nice to see Bitdice will be available on a popular social platform will join in later, I'm sure we'll get to read some interesting things.

Any update for sportsbook?

Waiting for the provider still I assume. I'll let you know once I know for sure.

I think we all are waiting for it too, I have tried few other sports books even the one listed here, but am excited to see what Bitdice will have to offer. I do hope the provider manages to deliver it quick for you'll, especially can't wait to see the odds on sports, and if possible game of thrones too there're very few reliable ones offering odds on it.
6690  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2018, 11:05:14 AM
The moment you see paid trolls attacking bitcoin. This is a coordinated attack by big whales to buy cheap bitcoins. Big pump is coming guys.

I would normally recommend buying at every dip, however with no end to the war between bitcoins cash abc and bitcoins cash sv, I feel we'll see more lower prices. What further worries me is bitcoins hash is being used to mine bitcoins cash abc, which will not be good for bitcoins prices. As we speak bitcoins, and alts have further crashed, I would only advice to buy small quantities now at regular intervals.

As the saying goes, “The best time to buy Bitcoin was 2009. The second best time is now."

True it's a best time now but I feel one should adopt a cautious approach as these are uncertain and difficult time for bitcoins.

6691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BTC is not adapted into business?? on: November 19, 2018, 07:02:56 AM
in my opinion bitcoin is now accepted world wide and it is valuable because many people use this for online trade and with this online business is promoted well it is good to keep our coins with exchange and use this for a good and faster transaction while some time you can convert into other coins, Now crypto is very important because we have to move with the world and it is the modern weapon with us.

While it's true that Bitcoins is accepted globally let's not forget many countries do not accept bitcoins, while some lack clarity on the rules, some had declared it illegal. Another major issue with using bitcoins is the volatility in it's prices which are not stable. I differ on the speed of transactions I remember my own transaction which was stuck for 72 hours, and at times even more for some though these days it's getting faster merchants would be vary of using it. Last but most importantly regulations and taxes to use bitcoins one needs to study the regulations and taxes that come with bitcoins, which gets costly and time consuming for merchants.
6692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This person made $500,000 with gambling and lost it all within 60 seconds! on: November 19, 2018, 03:52:10 AM
The story is from about almost 5 years ago but this is 100% relevant to 2018 or 2019 or many years to come, you can read it here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1ch7wb/starting_with_almost_nothing_i_made_almost_500000/

In short version, he gambled on Bitcoin, made $500,000 - and lost it all later on, he then continued to gamble in Roulette and other games, and ended up with $50,000 in debt.

Hey these things happens in stock trading too, people let their greed get better of them its basic human nature. I feel many gamblers know when when to start, but when it comes to pulling out they are clueless, they let their greed guide them and end up loosing. In my personal experience when I'm playing sometimes the gambling gets to me, even the risk of having debts doesn't scare me, and it's taken years of practice to quell my desire to stop when I'm ahead.
6693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 18, 2018, 06:01:22 PM

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

I became impatient to one altcoin to MFTU sold it - loss of 10% for 10 eth and then an hour after i sell it it get pump at 200% and I could have gain a lot more profit than that. That's why I becoming more careful when I'm going to sell my alts.

Hey whenever you're dealing with cryptos you should apply this rule no 1) never loose money, rule 2) never forget rule no 1. In cryptos you should invest only if you’d be perfectly happy to hold if the prices kept bottoming out, and you can be patient for the rally to happen, here you reacted and sold at a loss avoid it. I would advise you to increase the period of holding from few months to whenever you're in profit zone, all those who hodl their coins have made money in the long run.
6694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tom Lee lowered his prediction to $15k hehehe on: November 18, 2018, 02:30:19 PM
to be honest i wouldn't have changed my prediction if i were him. mainly because the current drop is not because of logical reasons such as previous times (bubble burst, correction, ...) it is purely FUD based and panic of BCash fork which means it is not natural so if he thought price is going to be $25k then since nothing has changed, his prediction shouldn't have changed either. although it is still pretty weird that he made that prediction but that is another discussion.

There have been lot of news like these lately all the so called gurus are lowering their estimates thanks to the crash, Bloomberg has even gone ahead to say it'll come down to 1500$. These investors and companies are wrong as there's nothing wrong with bitcoins, once the war effect is over growth will be seen. The first bitcoins etf is making it's debut next week, I bet these analysts will again sing different tune regarding the prices once prices rise due to it's effect. I'll agree that his prediction is another topic, but honestly I feel one should not bother about such predictions.
6695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a crypto newcomer , where should I start? on: November 18, 2018, 11:43:53 AM
My friend introduce crypto to me last month, and my friend also told me about this forum. then I bought 2 BCH few days ago, because I saw my friend also bought BCH. now there are 2 coins in my wallet called BCHSV. My friend told me that this is also BCH,but I still don't understand it. Now my concern is that their prices have been falling, and I don’t know if the price will rise again.
It was obviously a bad start for a crypto newcomer. Now what should I do, where should I start?
I have spent some time getting familiar with here. here are so many altcoins here, but I don't know which one is worth investing?

Hey the investment you have made falls under herd mentality, wherein you have brought because your friend brought it. When you bought bitcoins cash there was news of their fork happening, and their prices were falling down it's surprising you did not even do simple research. While you have Bch ABC and Bch Sv currently only Bch ABC is the legitimate coin just hodl your coins, once a guide comes how to fork the existing do it, so this way you'll get two more Bch coins so your total will become four. I would recommend you to invest in bitcoins, and for alts you can add ripple that's one coin I can say is worth investing.
6696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 18, 2018, 05:01:38 AM
^  Yup.  Pep got it right, Mou didn't.  That's cos Pep, Txiki Begiristain (City director of football) and Ferran Soriano (City CEO) have already worked together during their days at Barca.  The latter two were also responsible for Pep's appointment at Barca...  And City.  Wink

Manchester United are just splashing cash on star players, and hoping for a quick fix rather than finding a long term solution. The list of flops just keep on growing Falcao, Maria, Sanchez, Baily and so on. Then again there have been some revivals also Lindelof, Martial and Shaw form have improved, but like you said Pep and their director knew each other and communicate with each other, last year Mourinho asked for a winger denied, asked for a central defender this year denied and that I feel has been a major problem at Manchester United.
6697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin right now [Nov 14, 2018] on: November 17, 2018, 05:18:17 PM
bitcoin is really down now compared to the beginning of 2018 bitcoin is at the top, I didn't expect that bitcoin will fall with time for almost a year, and no one can predict when the price of bitcoin will rise again because we are all looking forward here that.

Hey the recent crash took place due to the civil war of Bitcoins cash, if you remember prior this bitcoin prices were stable for few months, it had found good resistance at 6k levels. I believe that bitcoin prices shall bounce back to 6k, and above levels very soon as the after effects of the war is slowly fading away. While it's true no one can predict it, we can be optimistic that the prices shall rally upwards soon.
6698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 17, 2018, 02:23:22 PM
I don't think this is a shocking thing to see Inter's defeat from Atalanta.
I don't think many people expected Inter to lose. They've been having a good run in the Serie A so far with 7 consecutive wins, and conceding only 2 goals...so, it was definitely surprising that not only they lost against Atalanta (which are currently in mid-table) but they lost with such a score (4-1)  when they have one of the best defences in the league.

I'll agree it was surprising to see inter loose, and that to by such a huge margin no one saw it coming. I believe this is a wake up call for inter to not get success to their heads, they need to respect all oppositions, and play strong and winning football.
At least there was surprise
Juve is like a machine

Juventus have one of the strongest team, and the addition of Ronaldo has only made them stronger and better. I expect them to retain the league, and go to semis or finals of Cham league.
6699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going to either $10k or $3k by the end of 2018 on: November 17, 2018, 10:53:53 AM
Well, everybody is expecting the bitcoin price to skyrocket again just like the last year 2017 but instead, the bitcoin is full of surprises. The majority of the people around the world are expecting the bitcoin price to reach $10,000 at least but it is currently going downwards maybe it will fall down to $3000. what is your take on the current bitcoin situation?

I don't believe bitcoins prices will close at any of those prices you have given, these numbers are what people like to comfort themselves with. If you have brought bitcoins then you would love to see it at 10k, if you plan to buy or have sold it you wish to see it at 3k, the problem is they ignore ground reality. It's pertinent to note prior to the crash bitcoins were very much stable, and once this event effects starts to fade we'll see it back to 6k levels, unless some major postive or negative news sways the prices.
6700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 17, 2018, 07:30:28 AM
Pakistan are really making the UAE a very hard place for touring teams to win as they won against Australia not long ago and now they are also dominating New Zealand which has a very good test team. That was a great bowling performance by Pakistan and they deserve to take the first day honours, lets see if they can now make a big total and at least get a 200+ run lead which I think will be very tough for New Zealand. This test match could end in 3 days depending on how well Pakistan bat tomorrow.

I'll agree Pakistan have made UAE like a strong fortress, each visiting team has struggled there and lot of credit goes to their bowlers for neutralising the opposite side batting line up. While so far Pakistan has been the dominant team, let's not forget their batting department has been poor, and I wouldn't be surprised if it starts to crumble again. I feel Pakistan needs to made at least 300 - 350 runs on board to put pressure on the kiwis, anything less than that will give Kiwis a chance to bounce back.
