Hello, Do you believe satoshi sold his BTC today so that is the reason why BTC price falls at the moment?

Or some big holder dumped his BTC.

This will remain a mystery if who is the owner of this wallet. It could be a huge exchange or firm that shifted to BCH just to get the benefits of the fork.
We should be calm and let this bch drama pass. For sure the price of bitcoin will be back up again. Don't be fooled by these kinds of manipulation.
The weaker hands will always lose. So better take advantage of this very low price and purchase more bitcoin for much more profit in the near future.

are you trolling or incapable of reading the dates of transaction outputs that are spent? all the previous outputs that link to this transaction have happened in 2018!
not to mention that at first look this is a P2SH address (starting with 3) and this type of address was not even around in Satoshi time Cheesy.

Any opinions?
i think this is the first time you are looking at other transactions that take place on bitcoin network.
large size money transfers are pretty common. they don't only occur on price drops. not to mention that you have no way of knowing if it was a "sell" or a "big ass buy" Wink

There is a FOMO brewing...

^ nope

the funds are actually an exchange. not a early adopter.

and its very easy to spot if satoshi is spending. because funds from 2009 would be moving.
they havnt moved. so satoshi is not spending

I agree with this, I don't see any reason why would satoshi himself will sell his Bitcoin at a price like this and there's no way will satoshi will sell his BTC many people will not going to invest in it if that happens.

Also there's no information where's satoshis wallet or any information about his/her wallet and his/her identity.

I dont really think that Satoshi would sell his BTC. Satoshi's vision was further beyond just money. It was an initial idea to change the world. And i say he succeeded.

you dont need to know satoshis wallet. or his identity.. just look at the blockchain.
its where everyones coins are.

peoples wallets do not contain the coins hidden away. the only thing in a wallet is the private key
this is the failure of buzzwords because a "wallet" should actually be called a "keyring"

coins are clearly and transparently listed on the blockchain. everyone can see when coins move.
the coins linked in the OP is not coins from the imfamous 2009-2010 stash

If Satoshi was spending the market would be in much more of a downfall than it currently is and everyone would be reporting it because it's easy to identify his major wallets. It's probably a large exchange or an institution, perhaps some whale linked to one of the BCH forks.

Yup, it was just little old me transferring coins form address to address Tongue

Most of Satoshis mining addresses are known... And those coins haven't ever moved.

Why is it always have to be satoshi whenever there is a huge amount of Bitcoin that has been or being transacted. Not only satoshi can have huge amount of Bitcoin, some people can also invest huge amount of money on it to have that big amount of Bitcoin like those whales or earn it like those cryptocurrency exchanges. And I don't even care who made that transaction, because every one is free to buy or sell their investments anytime. That's the purpose of Bitcoin to have a freedom to use your money.

Exactly. It can just be very early adopters of bitcoin, just like the guy who bought one pizza for like 2000 Bitcoins back in 2012, if i remember correctly.

Whoever that is, it's most likely not satoshi. As pointed out by other posters, the majority of his stashes are publicly known and none of these coins point towards satoshi's old addresses.

Of course, Satoshi did not sell his Bitcoin as if he wanted to do it, then he would do it at the peak of the price.

Even satoshi wouldn't be able to call the top. But you're right in that satoshi's sell order would like cause the end of a bull run Wink

Oh even if you'd call them "keyrings" people would still find ill-fitted metaphors...

though satoshi nakomoto still remain a mystery, but it will take more than just this to convince me that the very brain behind bitcoin will sell off his bitcoin. that's is a fallacy, the reason for the manipulation in bitcoin prices is because of the bch forks, and things will surely bounce back to normal when we scale through this trying times.

@OP
Where did you get his transaction link? You didn't see it accidentally on a block explorer. Because I am curious to know who this address belong to if it isn't an exchange. Too bad seems Chainalysis turned down their explorer. If the 100 BTC are the real reason of this today crash then I somehow feel me safe.

When there's a huge transfer of BTC, a lot of people suspects it is satoshi's  Grin

It does not make sense at all. Why would he/she allow bitcoin (his/her own creation) to crash?
If he/she wanted to sell, then at $10K above would have been a better price.

This thought does not make sense and even if it did, leave it in peace.
Whales and smart investors are behind the scenes and you're speculating with the creator?

Whales and smart investors are the real problems for the market the keep manipulating the crypto market, and normal people are getting frightened by the too much uncertainty of the market.

Hey no these are not Satoshi coins these are some exchanges moving their coins, I can understand every time such a huge quantity move happens every one suspects it's Satoshi. I would like you to first see the origin of the coin, here you can see it's from 2018, some research won't harm anyone, but will help fud from start spreading. I also don't think Satoshi will ever sell so relax.
