How come my cube speed show in webpage(cube website) is 32gh/s BUT in slush's pool show slower than the cube speed.
Pool speed is estimate, cube config is actual.

If you flip a penny 3 times and get heads 3 times in a row, what are the odds of getting heads on the 4th flip?
its 50:50 (same odds as flipping on the other three attempts) For that individual event, yes. If you wanted to know the chances of getting four in a row before any event had happened, it would be 0.5^4.

this spec is possible with 20nm chip, but i'm dubious about bitkey obtaining their spec with 28nm.
Talk to bitfury.

My Cube mines for a bit, but then stops until I reset it: Take all android phones/tablets OFF the wifi, they interfere for some reason.

I want to put my two cubes in my basement that has a temp of 48 to 58... would that cause any thermal damage if the cubes shut down and went through a rapid cool down... Just playing the what ifs so I'm making good decisions and not putting my toys in a dangerous situation ..
If they were ever powered down (or even the case wasn't warm enough), condensation would form on the inside. When you next powered up, everything would short. Avoid it, or put them in a cardboard box so they can keep themselves (and the air around them!!!) toasty.

I have a v1 blade and I am looking for some information on overclocking it. When I overclock the board it actually slows down the hash rate from 10 to about 8ghz. All of the chips show fine . I have scoured the internet for information about this but have so far come up empty. Is this potentially a voltage issue? The board is running cool to the touch, so I would not think it a heat issue. This is the only blade on a 400watt power supply.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Either voltage or power issues. Probably maxing out the cable.

If three are connected to the 1200, the PSU Shuts off completely.
The two CUBES on a separate PSU become inaccessible via network, stop mining, no status light, and only the top green light is on.
Cubes are quite unique in their loading profile on startup. There is no low power mode, it just goes BOOM full load, causing a spike. The larger PSUs have technology to not turn on when there's a spike as that typically means a short. The only solution is to run only 2. Probably similar with the two on the other cube, its just too much spike load.

I'm hoping someone here can help me with my four cubes. I have had nothing but problems since I got them. They are running in a data center with the proxy pointed to Ghash. Two of the four cubes are running on a AX1200i because anymore than that the PSU shuts off-these will stay running One is running on a CX750M, this one will stop running and require a hard reset once every 12 hours. One is running on a EVGA 750B, this one didn't last longer than 3 hours last night. I have tried pretty much everything I can think of: -Rearranging the cards inside the Cube; -There is no damage and the cards have no X's -They were working from the seller perfectly, but once shipped to me they start to cut out; -Heatsinks have been tightened, and the cards have been placed in the slots; -Tried the capacitor trick; -Tried new fuses. If anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated, and possible tips. Thanks! What do you mean by cutout? They hard power off, they aren't accessible via network, they are accessible but stop mining?

Hi
I've read through the setup guide past day which is a great help; however, for powering two 2-blade S1s, are either Corsair CX Series CX750M or EVGA Supernova NEX750B 750W sufficient without OC? With OC? These are 750W units.
Also, what PSU would be quietest since that's pretty important (I'm assuming 2 x 450W would be noisier)? Would 2 x 600W run the quietest compared to 1 x 750W (if it works for 2 S1s)? BTW, there seem to be many different Corsair lines like CX, RM, HX etc. Is there a preference for one of these or are they all equally good (apart from noise)?
TIA
750W would be a min for a double overclocked antminer. You'd need around 1.3kw for two antminers, which is done cheaper by buying two 750s. PSU noise is essentially determined by % load, the closer you are to load then the louder it will be. Still, even fully loaded PSUs are quieter than the miners they power as one is dissipating 15% heat and one the other 85%! If you don't know the difference between CX, RM and HX, the answer is you don't need to. Pick up the cheapest Corsair one that hits your requirements.

IS it true these can only be setup on a 192.168.1.0/24 subnet which is non configurable? Will it not pick up DHCP off a different type of subnet such as 10.0.1.0/24?
Cubes aren't DCHP so you need to be on a .1 subnet to configure it. Once you get on the page, you can put it on whatever subnet you like. If your router doesn't allow subnet changing (pretty sure all do...), you'll need to visit a friend's house.

the psu is 1000w and i have another two 600w power
how can i use these 2 psu togther?
Not sure you could balance load on an Avalon, would be very risky. Either sell the Avalon or buy a bigger PSU.

To be fair, they cloned an Avalon 1.5. Doesn't look that scam to me. Go over to the Mandarin forums and there are 15 companies like this.
what the hell is mandarin forum? can i get free mandarins in that forum or with mandarins into face? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=30.0

This is my preferred method of cooling for S1s. Parallel flow cooling only works well if its totally enclosed (nope) and the fan is high pressure (yup). Remove any one of those two and its mediocre.
