6741  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Mempool for private blockchain on: September 09, 2019, 11:36:55 PM
There are some guides on youtube how to make your own stratum pool since the algo is sha256 algo you can mine with ASIC but first, you need to make your own stratum server before you can connect the ASICminer.

There is a free opensource pool you can use check this one https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp and guide below.

- Yiimp pool install ubuntu guide 16.04 server

Youtube guide for other coin and algo:

- Install Mining Pool - Yiimp (Yaamp Fork)
- Tuto : Install Crypto Mining Pool - Yiimp (Without SSL) on Ubuntu 16.04 Server

I hope this is what you're looking for.
6742  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 of my miners failed the same day on: September 09, 2019, 10:08:53 PM
What do you mean by failed?
What is the issue of the miner?

According to the images above all miners are running but the two miner shows only 2 hashboards and the other one shows 3 hashboards but the 3rd hashboard only have 51 ASIC chips so the 12 ASIC chips might be dead.

Let me ask if these two miners with 2 hashboards only have 2 hashboards each? or they have 3 hashboard but the 1 hashboard not showing on the miners status?

Better explain here what exactly the problem of the miner Because you are still getting hashboard on these miners but with lower hashrate.
6743  Other / Meta / Re: How to detect plagiarism on: September 08, 2019, 11:34:37 PM
Plagiarism here on the forum is not easy to find. In my own experienced I always check the patrol and copy all text and paste it to any free plagiarism checker like the link mention above. But I'm doing this for time to time because the forum is flooded by many post and spam so you need to copy the text on the patrol page from time to time and check it to any plagiarism checker.

List of tools that I use for checking plagiarism below:

- Paid Grammarly or Use the free version from here https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker
- Copyscape
- SmallSEOtools Plagiarism Checker
- Duplicate content checker by seoreviewstools
- Dupli Checker
- Manual search with Google - just copy partial and paste it to google.

Combination of paid Grammarly and other tools listed above are good they have different algo of finding plagiarism.
6744  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Strange frequency readout S9; Latest firmware but can't see Enhanced Low Power on: September 08, 2019, 08:28:18 PM
~snip~

It looks like you flash the miner with another version which is no multi option like the above said.

And according to the image, your miners correct model is antminer s9i with "i" not just s9.

There are two august firmware the none and have multi option firmware for this model.

I don't know if you can still flash it with signed firmware because according to firmware desc: "6.You can't upgrade previous secure firmware after using this version"
but you have to try to get the multi-option feature.

Try this one "Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201907302056-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz"
6745  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s9k Infected firmware on: September 08, 2019, 08:13:31 PM
i followed the instruction, unfortunately this file don't flash S9k model Sad(  actually miner don't read the sd-card with this image file. Red and green light constantly keep turning on and never blinking ...

It looks like Bitmain already release a new guide to flash this model. According to this article below, you need to contact their support to get the image for this model.

Check this link:
- S17/S17Pro/S9 SE/S9k/Z11 control board program recovery (SD card flashing with customized PW)

So I think you need to wait for their response about the image for s9k but if you are in hurry you can call them to this number +65-3138-9024 if you are living outside Chinese country but if you living on Chinese country you can contact them directly to this number 400-890-8855 (Monday-Saturday 8:00-21:00)
6746  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s9k Infected firmware on: September 08, 2019, 06:38:17 PM
i think the only way that i can overcome this problem is re-flash the miners from SD-card but i can't find the image file for S9k model Sad

The link already posted above you need to use this one "t9+-SD Tools.zip" after you flash with the t9+ image you can flash it again with s9k firmware but through WebGUI as an update.
Then don't forget to change your administrator's password.

Summary:
t9+-SD tools.zip>WebGui>S9k firmware>change admin pass.

The guide can be found here S9 series (S9, S9i, S9j, S9 Hydro) Control Board Program Recovery

If the above guide didn't work and you still have the virus you need to follow this step by step guide from bitmain below:

- Viruses, malware and remote attacks on Antminers – How to prevent and remove them?
6747  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I made a big Mistake on: September 06, 2019, 11:32:05 PM
FruitBasket is right the correct path is this below:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Bitcoin (XP)

C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin (Vista and 7)

Linux:
~/.bitcoin/

Mac
~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/

I just want to add this guide below if you need.

- How to move Bitcoin Core Data directory

Since you are a beginner I suggest you use other wallets instead because it takes days or weeks before your wallet fully synced.

You can try Electrum wallet here's the correct website https://electrum.org and learn how to verify the Electrum wallet before you install.
Electrum wallet is a lightweight version of Bitcoin core wallet and it doesn't need to download the whole blockchain.

For the mobile wallet, you can try Mycelium or Electrum mobile you can download them at Playstore.
6748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bot on: September 06, 2019, 10:31:31 PM
GunBot is the only paid trading bot that I know safe to use you can find their official thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.0

But if you are looking for free open source trading bot you  can check Gekko trading bot from here https://github.com/askmike/gekko
6749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie needs help with maiden transaction Electrum Wallet missing deposit. on: September 06, 2019, 10:14:13 PM
When I search for the transaction I get the following:

https://btc-explorer.com/address/bc1qcvyflvy2tzkpjvjgh0sfg5p82hdep6kej6hhhw

I suspect that the problem with be with Electrum wallet itself. Some reason why the light is red and it is not connecting.
~snip~

You still have a balance on this address so it should show on your Electrum wallet.

Have you tried to check the network server if it set to automatic or not. You can find the network server by going to Tools>Network>Server then look for "Select Server Automatically" if its disabled you can try to enable it then reopen the Electrum wallet again but if it's enabled then disable it and choose server manually you can choose any server under "server peers" make sure to right-click the server and choose "use as server" Then check it again.

Let see if it will work just update here if it fixes your issue.
6750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At wits end, need help! on: September 06, 2019, 09:43:49 PM
Let me ask if your bank account information is matched to your Coinbase account information like name?

Because I heard someone restricted after many successfully deposit/withdrawal and the issue is the name and other information are different from the bank account and Coinbasse account.

If this is your issue you must remove your bank account from your Coinbase account and change your information from Coinbase account before you connect the bank account again.

Alternative if you have Debit/Credit card you can try to buy on Abra if you are in hurry from here https://www.abra.com/buybitcoin/simplex/
6751  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: One Hashboard Low Hashrate - High HWerro - Temp 15 Help on: September 06, 2019, 08:50:31 PM
You can get some abnormal temp if your sensor is damaged.

Can you try to hard reset the miner by holding IPreporter/reset button for 15 seconds then release?
After that test it again if it still shows abnormal temp it means that the temp sensor is damaged.

You can do some troubleshooting and find which hashboard is showing 15 temp. You can follow this guide below:
---> " Test hashboard one by one"
Then try to clean the hashboard with abnormal temp or replace it with new hashboard.

Or if you don't care about the sensor you can switch to Braiins OS then disable the temp sensors and check the miner again. If your miner is stable you can stay with this OS.
6752  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Why you should't use jaxx [any fork w/liberty or other] or how I lost money on: September 04, 2019, 11:48:57 PM
Honestly, after I heard a lot of issues about Jaxx wallet I stop using them before.

Look at this list of threads below.

- JAXX Bitcoin/Ethereum wallet - DO NOT USE
- Jaxx just made me lose .50 bitcoin
- Think my BTC got stolen in Jaxx Wallet....
- Jaxx, continuous transaction failed
- Missing funds from my JAXX wallet

I don't trust this 3rd party wallet which actually has many bad reviews.

If you want to use a 3rd party wallet for all of your crypto I suggest you to try Coinomi wallet but I mostly use it for mobile I don't know if the PC version works well but never heard any issue yet.

Another alternative is hardware wallet like Ledger Nano it is recommended if you want to hold a big amount this is the best option for altcoin and bitcoin wallet.
6753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Autofill - extension that will simplify your hunting on: September 04, 2019, 10:25:13 PM

Both of you are right but it still safe if we don't use any 3rd party extension in chrome browser if you use the browser mostly for Crypto(safety is our priority). I'm sure this extension are stealing personal information so for me this is not recommended to use.

Also, I noticed someone telling that this extension is a scam they have many bad reviews about this extension so I don't recommend to install this on your chrome.
6754  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Some help required if possible. Silly mistake on: September 04, 2019, 09:52:17 PM
Would i be better to just get a new laptop as i am due a new one anyway?

No need for a new laptop just like the above said format the laptop and do a clean install of your OS is enough.

Then make sure you have installed antivirus to lessen the risk of getting malware and viruses(Like Kaspersky it prevents you to install fake Electrum based on my experienced). Then download Electrum directly from https://electrum.org/ and learn how to verify the downloaded software you can follow this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105901.0
6755  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help setting up Ebit 10.2 Miner please on: September 04, 2019, 08:49:38 PM
I tried to search on Google for manual or instruction but this is what I found below.

Try this instruction from  here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JjQ1KWyjLk

It is Ebit 10.1 miner but I think they don't have any differences so the step by step setup guide of this video will help to set up your Ebit 10.2 miner.
6756  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s17 - possible to link more hashboards to one control board? on: September 04, 2019, 08:40:43 PM
I think you can do that on a custom firmware but for antminer firmware no you can't do that. Never heard any legit custom firmware yet so I can't suggest any custom firmware.

So my guess you will need another s17 control board to add more hashboard and another PSU to power up those another hashboard.
6757  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: bitpay wallet syncing on: September 02, 2019, 11:26:20 PM
No, they don't have the same feature as Electrum.

If your receiving transaction is stuck I think you need to contact the support about this they will fix this by refreshing your account.

Their network sync status is operational according to this https://status.bitpay.com/ so the problem might be a bug.
6758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: sendtoaddress sending 0 amount every time PHP on: September 02, 2019, 10:33:18 PM
It looks like you are trying to make a transaction without a balance I think you need to have a Bitcoin Testnet balance first before you can make it work.

You can get free Bitcoin Testnet first from this links below:

- http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/

Other Testnet coins:

Use this testnet explorer if you are receiving Bitcoin Testnet https://live.blockcypher.com/btc-testnet/ or you can check the testnet address if you have a balance.
6759  Other / Meta / Re: account petrcoin hacked please permaban on: September 02, 2019, 09:56:49 PM
Much better to contact the old holder of the account and make a sign message of old stake addresses like this one 1KbV1rsx5EgGuyT1CTTbe9XGoAYFMZ4pmj

And I think better contact DT members here to tag him with negative trust so that he can't use the account for dealing here on the forum.
6760  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Strange frequency readout S9; Latest firmware but can't see Enhanced Low Power on: September 02, 2019, 08:59:08 PM
Are you sure that you upgrade the miner to the latest firmware?
Make sure that you successfully flash the miner with the latest firmware.

Don't stay in "general settings" under "Miner configuration" check the other tab under this.

You should find this image below:

If you can't find this maybe you downloaded the firmware from another source not directly from Bitmain?
