6741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future in India on: July 05, 2018, 05:32:38 AM
The Indian government has restricted trading of crypto in India. It's not banned though but the local exchanges have figured out the method to trade using p2p mechanism. So, what do you guys think will it have an impact on the whole crypto market?

I estimate that it will have a impact but we don't know how huge its gonna be. Remember that there are a lot of Indian investors as well and it was reported that they have poured millions if not billions worth of USD on the market. So the recent Supreme Court's decision to upholds RBI's will have a impact definitely. But we still have to wait because bitcoin is still making a good run even though this negative news was in the crypto related websites in the last couple of days.

Indian Supreme Court Heard Crypto Petition but Upholds RBI Ban – Effective in 2 Days

Quote
The Indian Supreme Court heard one petition against the crypto banking ban by the country’s central bank today. However, the court did not grant a stay and the ban is set to proceed as planned, prompting crypto exchanges in the country to start implementing their solutions for banking alternatives.

It seems that Indian Supreme court uphold the RBI banning so its not a welcoming news specially for our Indian crypto enthusiast. However, hope is not lost as there will be another hearing on July 20 by four other petitioners.
6743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Bitcoin pump before 3K on: July 02, 2018, 10:55:50 PM
BTC will pump when no one will wait for this) IMHO they won't give a chance to people to buy on 3000 usd level)
It hardly ever falls below $6000 in this year so buying bitcoins at $3000 is not possible though but if you get the chance don't miss that out.But already there is bump happening with bitcoin price it almost increased upto 15%in less than 48 hours of span.

I also doesn't see bitcoin going as low as $3K this year. I mean its possible, however there will be too much parameters that will make the price go this low. I think we have reached the bottom already that's why the price is currently being pump and we might see $7K at the end of the month.

One scenario though is that it might be another bull trap and day traders trying to pump it and whales as well and then a sudden dump to $6k again so just we wary and careful about your investment.
6744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Altcoins? on: July 02, 2018, 10:24:55 PM
Hi! Everyone

What do you think is best methods to increase your Altcoin.

Invest in ICO?
Trading?
Hold?
Others?

Of course the best method is to really buy more altcoins. But if your question is how to get much profit from it, then all the above you posted has that potential. As to what is the best methods no one can really tell you that because everything involves risk. Its how to manage that risk so that you will get to your goal.

* Others just prefer to hold and doesn't want to trade because they are not good at that.

* Others wanted to invest on ICO and wait for it to explode, but a lot of scammy ICO's right now so you have to do your homework and research.

* Others want to do trade because they have the experienced to back it up, but you don't want to be greedy because at the end of the day, you might lose everything. So it's really up to you pal, what's fits your goal.
6745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: July 02, 2018, 09:52:11 PM
The price that went low to $6500 has got recovered, hope this is a massive comeback focusing towards growth. In specific it is all about the situation prevailing over the entire market. Right now a small pumping will create a positive thought among the people and the same will attract more investors which is a must for growth.

Correct, glad to see the price slowly getting in the range of $6800-$6900 perhaps in the next coming days. And I hope that this small pump will create a positive attitude towards old and future investors to pour their money again in the market. However, I have doubts that $20K might be possible again at the end of the year. I would be surprise if we get to touch it  again, but I wouldn't put to much hope on it, the chances are still there, but with so many factors affecting the price in a negative way, I will be happy to see the growth around $16K.
6746  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exchange problems on: July 01, 2018, 09:37:28 PM
hi all,
i want to know the problems involve in most exchanges and how can we overcome such problems.
mostly some exchange withrawals fees are very high e.g IDEX exchange, wen trading now does it mean that it is safe and secured for trading?
please i need your idea or oppinion.

No, higher withdrawal fees doesn't equate with better security features. On the contrary, exchanges having big fees usually doesn't have a good support as well. Of course hacking is the main problem and to overcome it, exchanges should always be on guard as to prevent those hackers. In your end, try to secured your account and don't put too much money on any exchanges, just enough for you to make trades and if you accumulated in the 5 digit range, much better to withdraw it in your wallet where you have full control. Another worst thing that can happen is exchanges freezing your account and money and requiring you KYC before you can get your funds out which requires months to process.
6747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to HODL or not ? on: July 01, 2018, 09:07:20 PM
I had bought some bitcoins in late December when price was around $10K. I had put all of it to trade on some altcoins to get good returns. Now, I'm all in on Bitcoin Gold, I bought it at $110 which is down to around $26. Shall I wait for another bubble to build up or sell what I'm remaining with ?

Lol. Bitcoin Gold? That's another bitcoin fork so I assume that it will get the same treatment just like other fork coins, they will just die a simply death. So did buy the hype so that's the price you have to pay. That's the problem with a lot of newbies with zero knowledge in crypto investing, don't buy the hype and it do did, learn how to exit on time so that you will not lost your hard earn money.

Again, this market is not for everyone to get rich as fast as you can, because you will be really got burned easily and lost a lot. So its either you get out of Bitcoin Gold and take the lost or keep holding and hope that one day it will be pump again.
6748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitter truth behind the market crash on: July 01, 2018, 08:38:14 PM
Well, to some extent I agree with you. Because of the panic of short-term holders who quickly began to sell, we see further consequences. But the market will gradually recover. I believe that.

Of course anytime the market can really recover its only the question of when or what will be the factor that will push the market again.

I think the main factor of falling the price of bitcoin and altcoin is, because too many negative issues surrounding this year's crypto. So cause panic, especially on newcomers.Sehingga greatly affect the price of crypto

Most of the main factors have been put by the OP.

What will happen next?

1.Whales who sold for higher prices will buy slowly at low prices and will become 1.5* rich.
2.Some people will leave the Crypto market.
3.Believers will HODL.
4.The market will slowly recover.

I kinda agree with the part of "What will happen next?" Up until now, it is just a vicious cycle like what you have prescribed on that part. Small people ( small coins and small guts) will leave this market and the HODL-er will be the winner, well not a fully winner, since the winner is always the whales.

Well i think a lot of people already left the market leading up to this point. They've dragged the market  to this value anyways and it's going to be better without them. Btc went close to going under 6k before pulling back and personally i believe we're under the whales moving the market right now.

Its more than 6 months since we see the bears taking over the market. I'm sure that weak hands have left already or at least didn't renew their interest on the market because it didn't go on their favour. Thinking this will made them rich is the wrong mindset in the beginning and that's why they are burned easily and no choice but to get out and run to the exit as fast as they can.
6749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese investor loses $400,000,000 in Bitcoin on: June 29, 2018, 08:07:08 PM
What if he got that bitcoin when it was below 4 digits? So its not a lost on his/her end. I'm sure that that person is a good investor and maybe offloading is a good thing for and that person still profits a lot even though he sold when bitcoin's price is $8K. And he has still a bag full of it, and so I don't think that he will sold again at this price. So there's nothing wrong in holding it out and when bitcoin make another bull run and even touches 5 digit again, that person will make a huge profit again and as if nothing ever happens.
6750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC Data leak on: June 29, 2018, 07:37:33 PM
Nobody can guarantee that your data after passing the procedure KYC fall into the wrong hands. Many are afraid to go through this procedure, because they are afraid of leaking their data. Which, on the one hand, is correct. Initially, the anonymity of users was above all.
Totally agreed. We can see most of bounty managers are asking KYC from hunters.I think it is really unnecessary .Who can take such risk for few dollars.

I totally agree, personally I wouldn't take that chance because we all know that once our data is leaked then we don't know how are those hackers going to exploit it (but for sure its something that will hurt us). So for bounty that are asking for KYC at least take careful of the data or even delete it totally once the bounty is completed and not put it on their servers or something that hackers can take their hands on them.
6751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to curb anxiety in bitcoin hodlers on: June 26, 2018, 11:01:12 PM
Hi buddies, have you ever thought of ways to allay anxiety in most bitcoin hodlers pertaining to the fall in the price? Let us share.

I think those who have bought bitcoin around 2017 has either dump half in December and made a lot of profits or just holding a few and continue to keep buying in dips. But for much earlier adopter, I don't think that they are affected by this dramatic fall in the price. Holding is more of a mental thing, yes its really though, I guess the best thing to do if you are really a good investors is to long at your investment for long term and I hope that you really invest what you can afford so that you are not that impacted when the price goes down.
6752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are going down again? Bithumb HACKED (30MIL USD) on: June 26, 2018, 02:06:28 AM
Yes, the market will be affected by the hacking attack. I am pretty sure thats why the price of the market as of now is very low. I believe it is the work of the hacker selling the tokens he hacked from the bithumb. I am terribly sorry for those traders and also in bithumb who lost a lot of tokens.

Right, its really sad to hear this kind of news because (1) the market price will definitely affected, (2) sad to hear our fellow traders losing money because of the hacked. Imagine working hard for that money and the hackers will simply take that away. But I heard that Bithumb is going to compensate those who have lost so its a good news for all of us.
6753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 3000$? on: June 26, 2018, 01:41:33 AM
lot of people saying bitcoin will reach 3000$ and go to up from there.my technical analysts friends also said me that.they said me to swap btc to USDT and stay away from altcoins. but my personal idea bitcoin will never reach 3000.what you thinking about this?

I don't think that bitcoin will reach $3K because every dip is a perfect opportunity to get in the market. Just like we see when we bottom at $5800-$5900, people started to buy bitcoin again. But the main thing here is just to stay cool and relax and don't sell during dips. That's the main reason why the price keeps going down because there are investors who simply panic and sell it during dips which resulted on lost in their end.
6754  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have another job besides being a Bounty Hunter? on: June 26, 2018, 01:14:52 AM
I understand that being a bounty Hunter can make money and improve the family economy, but do you have other jobs? because if I just rely on money from Bounty I think it will not be enough.

Of course, I have a stable 9-5 M-F job, and I treat this bounty hunting as a sideline. Sometimes being a bounty hunter gives me more pay than my regular job but it doesn't mean that I have to quit it and focus on myself being a bounty hunter. Yes, relying on bounty is not enough specially if you are a lower rank member here. Those we make a lot of money are seniors and up, obviously because they receive more stakes in a campaign. So I advise you not to quit your job but try to juggle your time and just enjoy being a bounty hunter.
6755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin comes around on: June 25, 2018, 07:17:34 AM
Back in February I remember a whole bunch of dudes saying buy bitcoin, it's an amazing price of $6000 and you'll never see a chance like this again, it will just go up from here and you will be kicking yourself. Then it did indeed start going up over the coming months, it even reached $11000, nearly double they were saying, you've missed the boat.

But look where we are now. We are at the same February low of $6000. My point is history, and prices, all repeat themselves. Opportunities do come round again. I can say to those people that said to buy in Feb that we are at the same point, and the same opportunity is there again.

(Or is it? I know a whole load of people are saying it's going to fall below $6000 and may even reach $5000. So there will be opportunities. Feb was not a special time).

Yeah I remember that same time frame because I was really hoping I can snatch a few apparently I don't have the funds that time and thinking to borrow some money, but I shrug that idea. I think it reached as high as $11,600 if I'm not mistaken so almost doubling it, that is if I have risk and borrowed the money and be able it to return in time and giving me good money. Of course it will repeat itself that's why there's a lot of FOMO'ed, and believed me there are a lot of guys who really doesn't like to missed the boat and most of them got in before the price took off.
6756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and 2018 on: June 25, 2018, 06:52:47 AM
The beginning of 2019 will be just fiery, I think he will Wake up from a dream and make us 30 thousand dollars .I don't think it could happen sooner, but it could be.)

Wow, I really like your attitude mate and I do hope that 2019 will be different. However, we are still in 2018 and we need to face it and even embrace the current situation. Its not on our favour with all the regulations and government bans coming our way, but hey. If you are not happy, then by all means anyone can get out right now. But just remember that you will miss that opportunity to profit one bitcoin took off again. So accept the fact that 2018 is not a good year, but we can all bounce back and make a break out run sooner.
6757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency coining on: June 25, 2018, 06:32:04 AM
i have observed that terms like "cryptocurrency", "blockchain", and "alts" is not an english word because it is not included in the english dictionary though it is cliche in our cryptoworld, i think it is high time to include it in the dictionary for further acceptance of the public and increase its popularity do you agree?

Of course you can't find them on dictionary because its just a recent development in the field of technology (2009). But I mean, it wouldn't make any difference if its going to be added in the dictionary. We all have our own lingo here so to speak. Besides, everyone knows how to used the big G, and it would just be in their fingertips if they really wanted to understand all those crypto terms. If any dictionary added it, good, otherwise, it wouldn't affect the popularity of bitcoin by a bit.
6758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC is under $7K? on: June 24, 2018, 11:25:44 PM
Many issues aee happening now that causes price falling down. Hacking issues that price drops, panic selling users, also no good news lately. Uncertainty price for bitcoin when to increase again no one knows. So wait again when it will increase.

Yes, any negative news will surely put a lot of doubts in the market that's why panic sell happens resulting in the price going down. Right now its just above $6K and yesterday is went below I think. So its going to be a long year for everyone here. But I still clinging to the fact that in 2017 bitcoin is less than $1K and we are in $6K right now so its still one of the best investment as far as I know. No need to panic here because bitcoin has proven that it can bounce back anytime and can go even further.
6759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bithumb 30 Million Hack on: June 24, 2018, 11:00:14 PM
This is indeed a bad news for the cryptocurrency exchanges, since the South Korean Exchange bithumb has released that 30 million US dollars have been hacked from their system. Until then all sorts of transactions are paused, and will be resumed after the matter has been investigated thoroughly. In the meantime the resources have been transferred to cold wallets and their clients are being reassured that the losses will be covered up.

I've been a long time here in the crypto world and have seen many exchanges dies through such a thing. Now we have 2018 and exchanges are still got hacked. That is somehow sad. Why have the operators of such sites still not learned how important security is? How many exchanges still have to be hacked until they are finally safe? Is it just me, or are real banks not hacked so often? But at least I do not think that the current price decline of cryptocoins have come through this hack.  Roll Eyes

Remember that hackers are very intelligent, its just sad that they used to their advantage to become a criminal. They usually study an exploited the vulnerabilities of most exchanges that's why exchanges really needs to learn and try to improve as well and not wait till the next hack on them. Banks are also been hacked but maybe we haven't heard it that very often though. There was even a hack that I read 2 years ago that hackers exploited using the network printer of a bank (with the IP address thingy) and stole millions if not billions of dollars.
6760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason to stay in this bear market. on: June 24, 2018, 10:46:21 PM
We are in a bear but still there's  a lot of reason why you should stay, and I listed some of those good things to stay calm and why you need to trust this market again.

1. Cryptocurrency can bounce back high in this current dump because of its own technology. the potential growth of this market is still 101%.

There is still a lot of leg room to work on. Remember that we reached $19K, so there's a lot of potential for the market to grow, we just need to be a little patience and not blow our heads off and snap and sell our bitcoin today. It doesn't make sense.

2. Bear market is normal, and if you look at any market after the dump there will always a rebound, where its possible to make a new all time high.

For most of us we are not here during the bear season in 2014, this current trend is really difficult. But yes, this bear sentiment can't go on eternity and one day we will bounce back again an hit all-time-high.

3. Now why some countries make bitcoin legal? Why some big personality invest in some project? Well, its simply because they saw a great potential for this cryptomarket, and you should too.

This may not help you to stay calm and stop panicking but try to imagine the market five years from now. Any thoughts why people should stay in this market?

I agree. If you think that there are nations who are against crypto, there's a lot of friendlies out there because they saw potential on it on economic and individual level that's why they are giving it a chance and not hastily decided to go against it.
