6741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is so special about Bittrex? on: August 23, 2017, 12:18:46 PM
Why do most new Altcoins list on Bittrex first before other bigger Exchanges like Poloniex.  Are they less strict or what? What exactly is happening.

Poloniex used to have a huge number of coins, but in about March they culled a lot of them as they weren't doing a lot of trade and were just gumming up their engine. When a trading engine gets to a certain size with lots of users, you can't afford the small coins, because they slow the whole thing down.

Kraken has just removed a whole bunch of pairs too, to improve the performance of their engine.

With Bittrex - they do list coins, but they also aggresively delist them if the volume of trades falls in a two week period.
As an exchanger delisting inactive coins would really be always suggested or a thing must do by them because if they would just let it be there on the exchange it would really slow things up and would really affect their service. Talking about bittrex most coins or some coins do easily get listed on their compared on other reputable exchange too like polo. I dont know regarding on their policies or guidelines to be listed but dont matter at all and we should be thankful on that.
6742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which strategy is the safest investment? lending or holding btc. on: August 23, 2017, 11:55:20 AM
Hello

I have 100 btc on exchanges. But i am very stressful for daily trading because their flow of price.

So i am looking for doing with the safest investment strategy.

How do you think about the usd lending on bitfinex?
BTC lendinh on bitfinex or poloniex?

Which one is more safer? and Can you recommend me for lending bot?
If you are looking for safest investment strategy i dont think that lending would be the one knowing its really a risky business. If you are really stressing out yourself on your bitcoin holding considering its 100 btc is really a big amount already and if i were you i would put it on cold storage to clear my mind on where i would put those money.Dont be a hurry better to think carefully before investing.

For me lending can be profitable if you know how to handle your business. A lot may have seen some lenders that are not doing well but it's the lender himself that has to c9me up with good schemes on his collateral deals. Not always that trusted members of loyal and most here wants to just try lending even with the most ridiculous collateral.
I agree on what you have said, there are still persons who do have lending business and it goes out well because they do know how to handle it and manage. We do really know the risk but if you do know how to deal with it then lending business would really give you decent growth on your bitcoins. Its somehow passive since all you need is just to wait until the due date of those borrowers would come near.

6744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I got scammed on alibaba trying to buy Bitmain Antminer D3, Must Read! on: August 23, 2017, 10:43:47 AM
In this case the seller was a gold seller with 4 years trading, but the account was hacked and an unrelated
product was added to their products. The hacker was logged into the account and communicating with potential
buyers.
Sorry but I really don't buy that. Scammers will do anything to decoy you and point you in the wrong direction. I've been scammed on Ebay ~15 years ago on the purchase on a laptop, it's all the same red flags all over the place.

If something looks to good to be true, it usually is. A D3 will make a multitude of the seller's offer, no way he will let go of the miner for that price -> scam sign 1.

I feel your pain, you've just had an expensive learning lesson...

This is the thing we should put up on our minds on which we should always think or think twice if something is offered or sell in too good to be true prices then you should not bother to make transaction with unless if the discounted price or lesser price isnt too far on the usual market price because on that one maybe its still legit but for those prices which to way cheap than on its usual or normal price then we should really think twice.
6745  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: August 23, 2017, 10:17:53 AM
So as far as we know BTC currency is growing wide, do you think there will be when it become a national currency? If yes, why?If not, why?
It may spread or grow worldwide but the thing you are mentioning here wont really be possible in upcoming years to come on bitcoin. It wont really be considered as a national currency thinking off that we do have lots of local fiat currencies and i dont think that government wont really just consider or easily switch into a decentralized thing which is bitcoin,It would just still remain as an digital currency i strongly believe on that one.
6746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: August 22, 2017, 12:57:18 PM
i think, usually people will stop gambling when he loses large sums of money. That's what I've experienced, I lost money that I think is big, and I must think a thousand times to gamble. If I continue it will lose money in greater numbers again. So it's best to stop when the situation is not possible.
After losing big amount in gambling, automatically people will find a solution how to stop gambling. Becasue if they continue it will make them beggars at the end of the day. But some people will not care about money and family members they only need money. This kind of greedy people we can't help them. Becasue they are out of control once they come to the road without single dollar that time they realise until that they will play gambling.
They will only realize those things in the end for sure and end up on regretting and crying in the end of the day or the times that they dont have any money to get from their pockets. There are really people who are like this on which their gambling addiction is severe on where comes to a point on compromising the most important things on our life which is our family and our priorities and responsibilities.
6747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your altcoins? on: August 22, 2017, 12:34:36 PM
i'm having some issues deciding on what wallet should i use..

thinking about just leaving it on the exchange, what are your thoughts?

currently investing in 8 altcoins
If a certain altcoin do have its own respective wallet then its the best choice to select that one rather than on deciding up on putting your coins or leaving on exchanges.Knowing that storing them there would really have the risk on losing them compared on storing them on your own wallet with they keys saved. If its an ETH-platform based coins then most likely people do make us of myetherwallet and if its waves based then waveswallet.io would be good.
6748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: August 22, 2017, 11:32:23 AM
Time management is difficult but if you are able to set your priorities and make daily routines on your everyday life then it would then be easy for you to manage your time. And I usually find time to do my own research on new tokens and altcoins during my longest free time which is after dinner when I'm at home already. If you have joined signature campaigns, you can post the required post counts on your free time like recess/break time for those who are still students and lunch time too. Time is gold, so make us of it if you are not doing anything.

I'm Retired and fortunate to have a lot of TIME on my hands to research altcoins.
Good for you and its good to know that there are retired persons who are old enough do still engage on altcoin which is really a great thing. In my case i can still research up on altcoin in my spare time since making a research isnt really time consuming unlike on other task here online.Management of our time is suggested if you dont like to mess up the things around you.
6749  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country would be the first to eliminate fiat and convert to crypto fully? on: August 22, 2017, 11:07:49 AM
Which country would be the first to eliminate fiat and convert to crypto fully?  My guess is China...
Its impossible for this thing to happen on which a certain would decide to eliminate their local fiat currency switching fully into crypto. Its impossible to think of for this thing to happen because a local fiat is somehow shows the sovereignty of a certain country which it do shows its power and also theres no country would decide to make trade-ups on local fiat-crypto which means its really a complicated thing to think off.
6750  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices incline below $4000 to Hit 7-day low on: August 22, 2017, 10:39:46 AM
That is probably something that will happen, btc not raise prices forever and the market must also increase at once. And I think that is also an opportunity for us to make a profit. I think the discount is normal and btc will increase again.
You said was definitely true into bitcoin on which we wont able to see rising prices forever and there would really be days on which the price would drop again and its not really surprising knowing that bitcoin is volatile on any way which means price moves in different directions anytime without our notice but i dont really worried too much on these kind of events and we should be thankful because we can still able to purchase cheaper coins.
6751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red flags for me not to invest into ICO on: August 22, 2017, 10:15:29 AM
I guess standard basic stuff look for transparency of team, whitepaper, product or product road map and eventually does the whole idea make sense...

You are right. If you have enough experience please share with us how would you analyze whitepaper. I will get to that part later on.
Just a simple reading and a simple analysis on what you have read and common sense would just need when you tend to read up the whitepaper of a certain project on which if you do find out that it has sense and do really have a real life use then this is one of my main indications on checking a certain project and next the developers transparency and experience on which it somehow assures me that this one would be a successful project later on because of its good foundation.
6752  Economy / Marketplace / Re: to get the bitcoin should issue a capital? on: August 21, 2017, 01:16:09 PM
Try to work, bro. Hard work will bring success. Most of the information which relates to bitcoin is on the internet and you can easily find it on google. Therefore, it is not hard to learn to make money with bitcoin. If you have money, I suggest that you should trading
There are many methods to earn bitcoin mate, correct that friend google can provide all methods you want to learn, there are methods of earning that you do not need a capital to earn but much better if you have money to invest which can helps you to make fast income while you are doing other method like signature campaign then your money generating income if value was increasing.
for those who still new in this system better to earn knowledge first before trying to earn bitcoin since there's also some risk with scam investment
if I got OP's point he still new and wants to know every possible aspect on how to get bitcoin so better to learn first about bitcoin and how to earn in
a legit ways.
As a newbie its always been suggested to make self learnings about bitcoin on how it works and how to earn and get it. There are lots of ways actually either you would buy it directly or earn it on micro jobs on this forum. Its not actually need a capital because you can actually get it with just your own hardwork or skills but for some people they dont like to get hassled and they do purchase them directly instead.
6753  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp, how to track a transaction? on: August 21, 2017, 12:49:57 PM

On withdraw, bitstamp should give you an id which you can use on eitherscan.io (i think it is) to track - like you would on blockchain.info for BTC (also think blockchain.info just added eth).  Check your withdraw section at bitstamp.  It also could be your withdraw was cancelled for unknown reason, if so check your balance or email support.
Theres really an id shown regarding on your withdrawal request and its really just like on blockchain transaction. You would able to see this if the transaction have been processed already and as being said there are some cases on which it might have been canceled or didnt processed for a certain reason.
6754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or BCC who whil be best? on: August 21, 2017, 11:00:09 AM
Execllant for that subject to let other knows about the next investment  incoming future ant put the successful  plan BCC is became the best options  for everything more than ETH when you see eth is not growing too much and still down between. 068 to .080 not more
Yes it not growing too much but it has a strong support not to crash its price directly or easily unlike on Bitcoin cash that it can anytime dump or crash its price so easily on a short period of time specially its supply is just like the same into bitcoin.I dont know whos the one pumping BCC since the price is really more than on ETH as of now which is really a great option too on making short trade to make money.
6755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: August 21, 2017, 10:35:00 AM
Nice and good article for those who want to learn more about trading since i am a trader and i don't think that there are such disppointing in trading but if the trading site got hacked that the most disappointed thing that will happen to it in trading i just only choose those coins that has potential to grow with in a week and if not i just hold it for a month waiting for the price to increase is a virtue also if you want to sell it you can get back your money for less 50%

I think this is the most disappointing thing that could happened to a trader, if the trading platform was hacked. But if you looked at how Bitfinex has recovered from a hack, I think I can say that there are a chance that you can get your money back.

Its really a hard job doing trading, you need a lot of qualities like patience and not to be emotional and affected by the daily price swings because if you are then you will be truly disappointed specially if the swings are going down and you are seeing your investment going to drain.
That’s too bad if the exchange got hacked. I pray you get back your money soon. Indeed to be a successful trader, you need to be a person who is not short tempered at all. Endless patience is demanded in trading besides good emotional control. Don’t be dishearten, your money will recover soon.
Hacked exchanges do really sucks if our coins are stored in there and this is why i dont really trust up on storing coins on any exchanges and i do withdraw them anytime when im already done on trading them. Disappointments on trading is just really a normal thing because we do commit mistakes along the way which would cause for us to lose money. There are times we won and there are time we lose.
6756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 21, 2017, 10:03:10 AM
Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin?

How would we know?  How certain are they?  We can't tell because nobody/no one would say how many bitcoins he/she has on his/her hands Tongue
I do believe that government do really have some decent amounts of Bitcoin on their hands.Remembering on the site that they have seized back in the past on which they do have confiscated or make hold of those bitcoins and im sure until now they do have the power or the holdings of those coins. Government wont just be blind on bitcoins progress and they would definitely go with the flow as long theres money involved on it.
6757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it wise to invest 1k into Bitcoin at this point? on: August 20, 2017, 12:15:24 PM
Add slowly every week
Investing or putting money on bitcoin is always wise to get in no matter which time you would decide specially if you are really longing for longer term targets and as been said above adding slowly small amount on bitcoin would really add up your bitcoin savings and this is what im doing now which is also a good way on becoming successful on bitcoin world. You may buy some altcoin in the market which you seem would give you money then proceed but since you are asking about bitcoin then its still the best choice.
6758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoincash is around 755.04 $ now! on: August 20, 2017, 11:08:40 AM
thank god that bitcoincash is stable at 800$ this will let opportunity for miners to get some profit from it at least it more profitable than bitcoin mabye this coin go higher to 1200/2000$ who knows

More profitable then BTC? Don't make me laugh. Do some proper research before believing all the FUD from Ver and Wu please. Grin

I think he means more profitable to mine. The difficulty is low on bitcoincash, which means the chance of a miner finding a block is higher than on bitcoin.

Even if he means mining, he's still wrong  Grin
Wrong on both ways for sure i dont know why he fall to believe on such thing when the price of Bitcoin cash rises. Maybe he got easily decieved by it and now saying things without even thinking. lol.
Bitcoin cash rise up its price and theres nothing wrong it that but believing that this thing would surpass bitcoin then it would be already the wrong thing.
6759  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucet a waste of time? Y/N on: August 20, 2017, 10:29:44 AM
Well its not a waste of time if youre enjoying doing them for the small amount of coins youre earning. Or if you have some spare time to waste on faucets, then do it. Its better than doing something like smoking cigarettes and drinking because youre bored.
definitley right
especially at this rate, if the faucet owner still give same amount that we claim before the price rising, i think it is worth, for now 0.001 is more than $3. so i think it is good to do but not as primary activity
Im afraid that they do change to the payout rate and im sure they are doing that right now because they would not give faucet rates basing on the previous price of bitcoin because for sure lots of people would claim because every claim would really be valuable knowing that the rate or price of bitcoin have risen up too much already. Generally speaking faucet is really a time wasting job and you would only get small amounts for your lots of efforts.
6760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's The Minimum Investment? on: August 20, 2017, 10:09:58 AM
If you're looking to make any sort of profit from cryptocurrency and you're just starting out, what do you think is the minimum starting investment you ought to put into it?

Yes, I know "you should only put in what you're willing to lose" but surely there should be a barest minimum, right?
Most common words from people would be like that definitely "Just invest on the amount you can afford to lose" If you are asking for an amount then this thing wouldnt have an exact number because people do have different financial states and we do have different views on which amount we do consider as a minimum amount. For me the minimum amount to invest on trading would be $100.Some may say it would be big or small enough but this is how i see on this amount.
