6741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ways do you know to get new coins? on: September 19, 2017, 08:54:19 PM
there was a thread here on the services sections for a bounty
for solving captcha puzzles.

There are also other threads offering small rewards for sign-ups
to various sites, its a lot of work for small reward but if you do
a lot of them then the reward looks a bit healthier.
6742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 4000 on: September 18, 2017, 02:09:23 PM
we all know the british slogan created during the Second World War

"Keep Calm and carry on"

well its fair to twist it a bit and say "Buy Bitcoin and Keep Calm"

Of course it has reached 4K, I cannot believe people thought it was
going down big time.

Its good news and shows that it is very resilient.

now "Carry on"

6743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: September 18, 2017, 10:10:36 AM
Litecoin is still growing. Who would think that this coin is dead? When Bitcoin goes up, Litecoin follows! and with the recent price increase, there is no chance that it will Fail.

Litecoin is regaining its lost ground from last weeks panic sell.
IMO litecoin was one of the hardest hit established alts,
it lost almost 50% of its value but is regaining slowly because
Bitcoin is also showing healthy growth.
6744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to buy EOS through Changelly? on: September 18, 2017, 09:56:33 AM
Why don't you buy it from binance, liqui, or even etherdelta? Using changelly or shapeshift is very easy way to exchange a token but it is also very costly. Look at also shapeshift for cheaper offer.

Yes I was just going to mention Shapeshift. will will be able to get it through them.
Also you might consider the Exodus.io wallet system which has support for EOS!
6745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China vs BTC? on: September 17, 2017, 10:39:56 PM
Can someone explain to me why china is trying to ban bitcoin.?

Try to do some more research about this latest news. China is not banning bitcoin, nor does the country ban altcoins for that matter. China is banning ICOs. Perhaps some regulations will take place about ICOs. Crypto exchanges are also being treated with very strict measures, even closing some.

Yes, some of the exchanges are perpetuating money laundering and the government wants to get strict on the ICO's and if possible the exchanges with whom these illegal moneys are converted into the Chinese yuan and vice versa.

Yes this is what I believe like many others. China is trying to clampdown
on the money laundering and general scamming with OCO's and the exchanges
which facilitate this which is mostly all of them whether they are aware
of a particular scam ICO or not.

The exchanges will have to apply for a licence.

6746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What!? You sodl? Too bad. on: September 15, 2017, 04:03:38 PM
I just noticed on Bittrex that there are shades of green,
its so nice to see this but Its a pity for the ones that sold
in a panic although this little up might not last too long in
the short term, lets hope im wrong and the recovery has
started earlier than we all thought
6747  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to buy BTC, ETH or altcoins on: September 15, 2017, 01:26:08 PM
If you want to buy Litecoin, Ethereum and/or Bitcoin
probably the best place is Coinbase!

When you get setup there or verified you can transfer
funds from your bank account with zero fees
you can also transfer funds directly from credit card
with a 4% commission I think.

Coinbase also have their own exchange GDAX.

Other sites I have used to purchase are as follows:

Litebit.eu
Bittylicious.com
anycoindirect.eu
6748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans exchangers / China exchangers CLOSED on: September 15, 2017, 10:50:54 AM
Here is some panic stopping news via twitter.
It is clear that China is looking to implement
some form of licensing for exchanges in order to
cut out the scamming etc.

It looks like legitimate exchanges will be able to apply
for a license and as they will be trading above board
a license should be obtainable.

6749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News - China on: September 15, 2017, 10:40:15 AM
Its going to take a few good reports like the above
and it will be enough to nullify the negativity circulation
at the moment and to set Bitcoin and other alt coins
on the path they should be on - UP

dont forget adoption by Crypto in China and Asia in general
is far greater than in the US or Europe!
6750  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Nosedived on: September 15, 2017, 09:49:02 AM
I will like to know the reason why after bitcoin reached the maximum value this month it has been decreasing on a daily basis just at the time i wanted to invest the uptrend just changed suddenly. is there any hope of further increasing as some has speculated that it will reach $5000 by the end of this year?

PURE PANIC and HERD MENTALITY! that's all, that's what we are looking at
and that is why the Bitcoin market has had a little dive.

Without causing any offence but it the likes of yourself opening this thread
to ask if Bitcoin can reach $5000 again which adds to the doubt and panic
in the market!

Of course Bitcoin will regain lost ground.

China's moves against ICO's and Exchanges can actually be a good thing
for the community. As they said themselves they only want to protect
the consumer, thats us !!!!

for the ligitimate ICO's and exchanges this is temporary

for the scam ICO's and Exchanges its permanent

SIMPLE
6751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy now or sell? on: September 15, 2017, 09:42:40 AM
What's actually happening with bitcoin? Market is collapsing hugely. Is this the better time to buy or sell? And will it goes under 2000 or 1000? If so should we buy then? Suggestions would be helpful

This is a golden opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a low price
Ok it might go a little lower but it will most certainly rise
and it will be quick and may not come back down to this
level again.

So if you are going to be a long term holder, buy it now
and relax, if you want to eek out the greatest amount of profit
then wait , hope it goes lower and try and buy at that low price.

You will have to be prepared to site at your screen 24 hours
per day every day until you catch the dip!!

DO NOT SELL
6752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans exchangers on: September 14, 2017, 09:53:05 PM
The price already started to decrease since BTCC announcement. I believe we will be better off the Chinese exchanges and the market manipulations in long term but for now, I expect the price to decrease further and more exchanges (Huobi and OkCoin) will follow that decision.

Bitfinex must be next. They are like a cancer with their fake volumes and tether with their fake usd being used to pump BTC.

Could we actually be on the verge of a positive move by China to ban
shady exchanges? and in the process help the crypto community
and in turn affect the price of Bitcoin in a positive way when the panic
fades and all those realise that actually China is not going to ban ALL
their exchanges and no China is NOT going to ban Bitcoin.
6753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Litebit.eu was Hacked! on: September 14, 2017, 09:24:03 PM
I have used Litebit in the past and I have to say I like the service.
I also received an e-mail with the latest news but I do not have any
coins in their wallets. What I have been thinking about since the
notification is how deep was the hacking?
But I take comfort in Litebit's response to say that no verification
documents were hacked, to me this is the most important thing.
6754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Tsunami on: September 14, 2017, 08:23:20 PM
really? come on,
you are asking if this is the end of Bitcoin? do you really think its going to dissapear? think about it now . . .
All the people who have been in this for 2, 3 and more years are suddenly quaking in their boots fearing
they are going to loose all the investment.

The only ones quaking in their boots are the ones who bought last week and are
fearing Bitcoin will never rise again.

Cant wait until this time next week when all this panic will be a distant memory, there will be winners and loosers  Roll Eyes
6755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: September 14, 2017, 08:15:08 PM
BTC may not recover, but instead money will flow back to the superior, original bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash. Buy bitcoins now for under $400 again! Watch for the BCC related conference coming up this week. Huge things ahead! Don't be in the dark on these developments!

Thank you for the advice but on consideration of the pro's
and con's of both i'll be keeping my BITCOIN
it has such a history and a massive acceptance, it will
take a loooong time for BCH to catch up.
Thats the way I see it!
6756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan CEO Jamie -says "BTC is worse than Tulip Bubble" calls it a fraud on: September 13, 2017, 09:18:41 PM
maybe they see a chance to buy some cheap bitcoin and other crypto
while giving it a bit of a verbal bashing to get the price down even more.

what a bunch of Bankers
6757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 13, 2017, 09:14:32 PM
whatever you do do not sell!
you can take confidence that the value will rise again
there are people ready to buy now at a low price, its a great
opportunity and the price increase will follow.
6758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cheap Bitcoins! on: September 13, 2017, 09:08:51 PM
yes im happy also, while on one side of the coin we have the panic sellers
on the other side of the coin are the seasoned campaigners waiting with
their buy orders set  Grin

I'm looking forward to see where this project goes.
6760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening again? The market is looking all red! on: September 13, 2017, 12:03:24 PM
Hello guys,

What is really happening the market all red?

Woke up this morning with my full confidence that market will continue to recover but it didn't!

Can someone explain to me what is really going on because the market is not recovering, instead going to the hell again, more deeper!

Thank you.

Its really the negative news coming from China that greatly affected the price. Yesterday it was around $42xxx already and I'm thinking that we are already in the road to recovery. But the dump happen again. And then JP Morgan's Dimon claiming the bitcoin is a fraud may have contributed as well to the price declined. It's another bloodbath but I consider this another challenge that bitcoin market can overcome in the next coming weeks. So we don't need to panic but instead this is a chance to get bitcoin at a bargain.

Yes 4 things that are very closely related,
[1.] News not reported properly,
[2.] Bad news reported properly,
[3.] painc selling by people with weak hands who cannot see the big picture or the long game and
[4.] people taking advantage of the uncertainty in the market and selling to drive the price down
