6401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New Poll On Use of Bitcoins on: December 03, 2017, 05:36:14 PM
I am also wondering what the point of this poll is?
5 potential answers to the question is far to small,
I have already bought with .05BTC it is not a vast
amount and whst if you could choose "all of the above"?

6402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: December 03, 2017, 04:21:03 PM
The rate at which the ICO tickets are selling out is remarkable. I haven't witnessed something like this in a very long while. Surely Truckcoin is the most anticipated ICO of 2017. Make sure tomorrow and every day you set your clock to participate early in the coins sale and get on board the fastest payment processing blockchain network.

Yes its great news and as many predicted each daily session is not going to last very long.
The second ico phase will sell without issue.
6403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: December 03, 2017, 12:37:57 PM
Thanks for the replies to my post previously ^
Just reading the posts and its great to see that people are ordering
and using cards. My boss is very sceptical about bitcoin, he is
constantly asking "where can you spend it?" Well i cant wait to
show him the card when it arrives !
6404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Have several unconfirmed transactions going back over 3 weeks on: December 01, 2017, 04:14:32 PM
Could a service be generated to collect micro-payments
and dust-payments into one larger one?

The longest lasting transaction I have had to date was
for 8 days, in the end I requested a REFUND which took
about another 3 days to be actioned but it did happen
and my transaction was REFUNDED.

It was through Shapeshift.

Maybe have a look at some of the transactions and see
if they can be refunded?
6405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: December 01, 2017, 10:01:21 AM
Terrible 20k ticket sold out within 30 minutes. I do not have time to buy, wait tomorrow! Sad

You have to get in early!!
For anyone not in the loop here are the numbers:

$20-50 / ticket

$1 increasing per ticket each 24 hours

only 20,000 tickets available each 24 hours

only total 513,333 tickets available

3 TRKC per ticket for 1st 10 days

2 TRKC per ticket for 2st 10 days

1 TRKC per ticket for last 10 days
6406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: November 30, 2017, 11:57:13 PM
I just ordered my TENX card after a friend showed me his new
arrival today. I got a message to say the cards are currently
out of stock, what is the current estimated lead time?

Is there over 17,000 cards distributed already?

104,661,310 tokens * $2,46 = $257,466,822.6 need to be collected

To make this happen we need 200 * <$ value of 0.5%> = $51,493,364,520
(close to a third of today's BTC marketcap: $167,024,234,822)

Under consideration that company tokens will get rewards as well, sooner or later (otherwise they would not have any use case or value) it becomes worse as you can imagine: 205,218,256 PAY tokens * $2,46 * 200 = $100,967,381,952

Let's calculate with 12k per person spent via the card in average, quite high, but may happen:
$12,000 * 0,005 = $60 collected (0.5% reward)

So, to collect $51,493,364,520  TenX needs: $51,493,364,520 / $60 per person and yr  = 858,222,742 the amount of customer years required (one customer 10 years is equal to 10 customers one year).
Bad assumptions give bad results Smiley
1) 12k usd per person per year -> most ppl who get tenx card were early in crypto bussines = they got cash.
I got card for 1 month. My spending was ~11k usd in last month using card. My early spending should be close to 120k-150k usd per year. Average probably should be close to 50% or average yearly salary of person using card or more like 75%. I would say it is safe to assume 30k usd per year per user.

2) You don't count total value equal to 1 year earnings Smiley never ever!.
This company will not case to exist in 1 year so this assumption that company vaporizes in 1 year is extremely faulty giving huge error.
Look at Tesla P/E = infinity Smiley
Netflix P/E = 189
Amazon P/E = 297
Yelp P/E = 489

(P/E is Price/Earning)

Average for tech companies is ~30. Good companies with good potential growth in future are 100+. So Tenx should have at least P/E=100.

So after fixing base assumptions, let's fix your calculations:

104,661,310 tokens * $2,46 /100(p/e) = $2,574,668 need to be collected

To make this happen we need 200 * <$ value of 0.5%> = $51,493,364

$30,000 * 0,005 = $150 collected (0.5% reward)

So, to collect $2,574,668 TenX needs: $2,574,668 / $150 per person per year = 17164 customer  using card.

As far as i can know they will get about 25k working card till end of 2017.
So according to this calculation price NOW should be 2.46$(value used for calculations)*25000/17164 (really working  cards/amount from calculation) = 3,58USD per 1 PAY token.

If they get 50k working cards value should be 7,16USD, 100k working cards 35,8 USD.
1k working cards -> 1Pay = 0.35USD  Grin

Everything now depends how many cards were shipped! This is very valuable insider info.

6407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 30, 2017, 05:27:57 PM
Lets just wait and see how the price goes for the next 2 months.
It took around the same time for Bitcoincash to reach the value
it now has.

I got the tokens for nothing so im holding for the medium term
This is my own decision and of course I have no idea how its
going to turn out  Grin
6408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Entry on: November 30, 2017, 10:50:58 AM
$10,000 is here to stay. if you weren't sure before, you should be sure now that price took a dive and recovered fast. there is a lot of actions going on these days and also manipulation is at its all time high. but the market also has grown too big which you can no longer expect big drops too often. you can place some low bid orders in $9xxx range but don't expect them to be filled anytime soon. there is no more drop in near future. specially with NASDAQ announcing their support for bitcoin now!

yes I think €10,000 is the new base price, it may go lower but
it will only be very short trips but it will rise from the €10,000
price mark.

When the price passed $11,000 the world sat up and took more
notice, positively and negatively depending on who was reporting
it! I heard it on the hourly radio news yesterday and this morning
on the financial currency news as if it has been the norm for years.

6409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: November 30, 2017, 08:44:14 AM
Two great articles, thanks for posting these here.
It looks like TRUCKCOIN is attracting more and more
positive news. I like this snippit

it provides a personalized banking option that no other coin offers.
6410  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price due to retail investors? on: November 30, 2017, 06:37:21 AM
Big time investors along with small retail investors are both groups
which are affecting the bitcoin price. It is all types of people looking
to get in on the action.

Only yesterday i was listening to a comentator talk about JP Morgans
negativity against bitcoin and then they offer bitcoin trading to their
customers requests.

I am also hearing people getting interested in it who previously would
have nothing to do with it, these would be average working class people.

6412  Economy / Economics / Re: We gonna talk about that flash crash? on: November 29, 2017, 09:17:06 PM
FLASH is the proper description for it but no panic Bitcoin is back on track.
I think we are going to see this far more regularly. Someone posted in a
different thread that as the price gets higher the volatility will increase......
or something of that nature.
6413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: November 29, 2017, 08:08:34 PM
At the moment and of the very immediate focus is that we are working on developing android, and ios wallets to help people to easily store Truckcoins on their platform of choice. Also, several other features are in store as you can see from our roadmap on www.truckcoin.io.

Thanks. Hope to see you participate in the ICO. Only 1 Day remains

Thank you again cryptoeddy for the update.
Its good to hear that development is rolling along.
One day to go until major ICO activity resumes again  Grin
6414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downsides of bitcoin on: November 29, 2017, 01:54:30 PM
the downsides to Bitcoin have been talked about here on many many threads.
The two biggest are the transaction speeds and the transaction fees which are
linked to a degree.

If the fees paid for a transaction are too low confirmation is deemed not to be
of importance.

another downside depending on where you sit is the current value of BTC,
it costs more to get into it in an meaningful way at the moment  Grin
6415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall down on december on: November 29, 2017, 08:59:48 AM
This thread title is a statement and the OP's post is a two liner.
There may be a fall or a correction but not by $7000 and im
not so sure it will go back to $7000. it may fall back to $7500

I do agree though that the price is rising too fast.
6416  Economy / Economics / Re: huge crypto market correction incoming on: November 29, 2017, 07:53:13 AM
That's treu and most of the crypto investors are aware of it. The market is reacting positively because of the positive adoption news coming from every corner of the globe. CME group is about to start their crypto futures contract shortly and many traders and speculators are betting high on it. So we all know that a correction is imminent. But we are also sure that it won't be long before the market bounds back. A little correction is needed to take the next leap and also it will give us another golden chance to score some more bitcoins at a cheaper price. The entire market is running high on positivity so the correction will only be a very temporary phase.

Yes this analysis is similar to what i have posted before
on a different thread. There is and will be more adoption
and acceptance of bitcoin and following on from crypto
general.

The value now being over $10000 is this the proper rate
that bitcoin should be at? Was it always "undervalued"?
 Shocked
6417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit 10K. What's Next? on: November 28, 2017, 05:39:13 PM
my speculation is for a touch of volatility as the buy/sell orders
are sorted out followed by a bit of a correction and then another
rise, this is kind of how it goes ?
6418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: one bitcoin transaction equals to almost 300KWh of electricity on: November 28, 2017, 04:32:18 PM
holy cow, when I saw this thread title I thought "that cant be right"

and how right I was, I think she may have her figures right but the
facts may be off . . . just a little.

It may be the block she is referring to, you would want to be getting
your facts and figures right  Roll Eyes
6419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much can you earn from signature campaigns? on: November 28, 2017, 02:28:00 PM
there are no fixed rates.
It all depends on the budget set by the ICO and the campaign manager.

Lets say you are accepted as an Jr.Member paying 0.001 per week at the
current BTC value of $9800 your reward would be equavilent to $9.80.

as you progress, learn and hit the user ratings your reward increases.
6420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: November 28, 2017, 12:29:57 PM
"the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it". What's funny is that, that's what people have always been saying since the start!

First people thought that $1000 was too high.. then $3000.. then $5000.. and now $10,000.. Do you want to make the same regrets after the next price milestone? I'm not saying that you should definitely buy at this pricepoint, but think about it.

yup i have been hearing this all year, should I buy Bitcoin now that the
price is $1500, is it too late to buy at $2500 etc. etc.

now if you only have $100 to spend, you wont get much bitcoin for that!
so I get the point the OP is making.

Personally the likes of Litecoin, Dash, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash are
pretty good to get into, the best would be Litecoin as its "affordable"
and its only going one way [like bitcoin] !!
