6761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency? on: June 20, 2018, 03:08:43 PM
Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency?
Let me nickpick your last sentence which in itself is a question. I would say in response to that yes there is a fast money in cryptocurrency but not easy money. Fast in the sense that one could get into a coin about to be pumped and have several units of that crypto, and boom! You're into riches with price increase for the said crypto. But that isn't an easy choice or pick to make, is it? No one truly knows what cryptos will gain overnight, and that's the truth. Again, also bear in mind that the whole thing that happens in cryptocurrency is a big risk. Only the risk takers can survive it. Not an easy business to deal with.
6762  Other / Meta / Re: Alternative solution for ranking up instead of merits on: June 20, 2018, 01:56:04 PM
I think most of you may wonder how a newbie can make a post like this. Yes, I'm very new to here. But I'm familiar with simple machines forum.
No, you obviously are not a noob.

Here what I think, I think you are just an alt of somebody and you are fishing for merits, the mindset of people like you is the wrong mindset
You are spot on. The OP is an older member here. They should be posting from their older account instead. But on fishing for merit, I don't see how that would've been an offense if OP had posted that from their older account. Nothing stopping them from earning merit if the post were merit worthy.
6763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are going down again? Bithumb HACKED (30MIL USD) on: June 20, 2018, 12:08:18 PM
Gush! Another seemingly fraud, not a hack! Now the investors and traders will bear the brunt.
6764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: June 19, 2018, 09:12:45 PM
Just sell your alt and buy etheteum or bitcoin because those coins hadhe capabilities to help people and it is very useful in terms of monetary services.
Sell some worthless coins that can't even get you a bite of pizza to buy a million dollar bitcoin? This is hilarious. Shocked. I know you're kidding.

OP's best bet should be to keep the coins and hope against hopes that some cash crazy whales pump it up. Even if the coins get pumped, are we sure the OP will sell and exit? Nah! OP will still want to wait to grow Bill Gates on a $100 investment.
6765  Other / Meta / Re: How many deleted posts, your account getting banned? on: June 19, 2018, 01:11:12 PM
Just now they deleted my first post because it's 'off topic' I posted a short phrase that's the reason, stop posting short content.
No, that's not the reason your post was deleted. Short and concise posts addressing the topics at hand do not get deleted. But copy and paste or repeated short comments will always get deleted.

Even a higher ranks,if there's a lot of deleted posts have been made,is there a chance of their accounts getting banned?
I haven't read in the rules anywhere here that says a certain number of deleted posts could get one banned without first being warned. One must get a citation or warning before one will get banned. Everyone here, at one time or the other, has got their posts deleted, including yours sincerely. It's not an omen to getting banned at all.
6766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGES FAKING VOLUMES AND THEIR EXHORBITANT LISTING FEES on: June 19, 2018, 09:46:25 AM
I read same allegation last week of exchanges indulging this sharp practice, especially on Bitcoin and then using clients funds to trade. No exchange was mentioned. As it was a sweeping allegation, I quickly made a rush to certain exchanges I use but couldn't find anything untoward. I don't know how this crazy things happen and I think names and link evidences (I mean concrete evidence, not social media link.) should be made available to the reading public so that we know these bad eggs.
6767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: June 19, 2018, 08:58:06 AM
Math > Emotion = Profit  Wink
I hope you are finding the needed Math bearing in Africa (Namibia, right?) 😪

OP, it's easier said than done to advise people not to sell. It doesn't work that easy once there is a pressing financial need to be attended to.
6768  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about the current market? on: June 19, 2018, 08:03:49 AM
I think this current market situation is perfect. Very perfect! It sends jitters down the spines of weak hands and those who think cryptocurrency is the easiest place to make money. This reality should shake them up or even chase them out of the industry. They are mostly responsible for the constant dumps and price crash. I like this situation but my only regret is not having enough fiat to buy into this bottom dip. Anyone who isn't buying the dip will surely regret it a few weeks from now.
6769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Media tries a little too hard to... on: June 18, 2018, 08:29:17 PM
...undermine cryptocurrencies and convince the world that it's "not worth it" - maybe, in fact this is the time to get in, before the bitcoin skyrockets?
Any thoughts..?
I am not even talking about the article. But dude, for real, if you still haven't bought into Bitcoin by now that means you too are indirectly a part of the Mafia media you criticize. How can you believe in something and still not buy into it. As for the media, I don't see anything shakeable they are doing. Those writing against bitcoin are mere bank puppets paid to do the yeoman job. That's all.
6770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What affects your decision to take part in a Bounty Campaign? on: June 18, 2018, 06:08:39 AM
How do you know if this manager has a great reputation or not?
Put an ear on the ground and you will know these reputable managers the forums are talking about. People talk and the crowd can't be totally wrong on something like this. I also consider this factor while choosing  a bounty. In addition, I look at the number of Stakes to be shared and the total number of the coin the project has. I don't do projects with billions of coins. Nah nah...most of them end up shitcoins.

Wow! Thank you for the option of looking at rating at ICObench, didn't think about it  Smiley
Really? You want to trust all those bias and subjective analyses? You better don't. Go with your own analysis.
6771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Below ICO prices on: June 18, 2018, 04:39:30 AM
Many coins are below ICO prices due to this recent dip and I think this is the last dip that we will experience and bull run will start soon. At this moment, it's time to accumulate some quality coins, what coins are good to buy?
Quarkchain is a good buy and its price is cheap. Already listed on Binance.

Talking about prices getting below ICO price, I don't think it's because crypto market is in a recession. No, that was already happening even before the recession set in. It's the devs and teams. Some of them are criminals who find an easy way of listing on cheap and irrelevant exchanges without volume and then before anyone says, "Jack Robinson" they dump on the holders and move away. This is the new soft exit scam.
6772  Other / Meta / Re: sig campaign- what about "1merited post per week" instead of"25 post per week" on: June 17, 2018, 04:55:06 AM
I like what Yahoo62278 is doing better, which is to require a minimum amount of merits before even being accepted.  That weeds out a lot of shitposters.
Yah, Yahoo actually initiated that method but for some time he too has stopped using that criterion. On the overall, this world is such a horrible place. People (dissidents) will always find loopholes in everything good and circumvent it. Merit trading became the order of the day while the Yahoo method lasted. Although many accounts were surprisingly nuked for that.

On the 1merited post "bill", I don't think advertisers will like it. Publicity is advertising and advertising is publicity. You don't get the needed spread and publicity with people writing just a post. You get that with numerous posts.
6773  Economy / Services / Re: BookiePro - The World's Betting Exchange | Signature & Twitter Campaign [OPEN] on: June 16, 2018, 04:52:22 AM
I confirm receipt of payment for Week 1.
6774  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: June 15, 2018, 08:46:55 PM
Well, I don't see how that will be any problem if countries have their own cryptos. It will only create a healthy boost of the whole cryptocurrency thing. More firms, companies or people coming into a business would only mean increased participation and improved services just like what we have with so many companies providing the same service in a country or province. It won't be a bad experience.
6775  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 15, 2018, 01:41:16 PM
Ordinarily, investment in cryptocurrency is a risk on itself. It then obviously explains that whoever is investing in it already knows the risk factor involved. For me, it won't even be a bad idea if the person seeking retirement keeps that little amount aside for altcoins and not bitcoin. Everything kept for future use shouldn't be kept in bitcoin. For instance, if anyone had invested $100 last week on Firstcoin the person would've netted over $1,000 on that alone because Firstcoin just did over a 100%.
6776  Economy / Services / Re: Listing on Crypto Exchanges on: June 15, 2018, 10:37:58 AM
I think Kucoin is cheap exchange.
Knowing is better than thinking. You think makes it a guess or at best a rumour. The truth is that kost of the exchanges collect very exorbitant fees going into 4-10 btc to list a coin. I got yo know of this from a team whose telegram group I belonged and that was struggling to list its coin on popular exchanges.
6777  Other / Meta / Re: I Found a cheater or is this a Bot? in a bounty Spreadsheet on: June 15, 2018, 09:46:25 AM
The first thing you do about these cheat participants you have snipped out is to report them to the bounty manager. The second thing is to tag them to a DT member and then allow things take their natural course or you write a report on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2896910.260

These cheats are part of the reasons the Merit system was actually introduced in the first place. But they still find ways of beating the system.
6778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is LTC still good to invest? on: June 15, 2018, 06:03:37 AM
From the angle I stand which I like to call a vintage position, I know Litecoin is a great coin with a use case that will stay a long time as long as cryptocurrency exists. However, now isn't the right time to buy it. I believe it's high on its price if you are someone who likes buying large number. You just have to wait for further retracement. If I had come into cryptocurrency around 2015/2016, the litecoin definitely would've been an alt that I would be holding in large number because its price was next to nothing then. It still has the space of topping its earlier ATH before the end if this year anyway.
6779  Economy / Economics / Re: Is President Trump good or bad for the economy? on: June 15, 2018, 05:29:15 AM
Mr Trump may not be handsome looking like his predecessor (I strongly consider Trump ugly. Yah, I know he didn't make himself) or have a strong oratory skill but we truly can't say he hasn't tried for the economy. Everyone would do as their intellect allows them space. Let's not forget that Trump is a screwd businessman. So, I expect he will bring all that to bear on the economy now as president of the US. And look at the historic summit he had with the Korean leader, Kim and how they amicably resolved what many thought would be a pathway to the WW3. Thumps up for Trump. So far, so good.
6780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit? on: June 14, 2018, 04:37:58 PM
Stop loss is always been recommended into this cryptomarket and as a trader for you to avoid on being burned in the end.
I rather tether than use stop loss in crypto trading. I believe stop loss here is highly inconsequential. Why use SL when you can just have a wait for price to revert, whenever. Accounts hardly go into margin call except where a coin is delisted from an exchange. In Forex SL is necessary but in crypto it's optional. That's how I see this anyway.
