6761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening again? The market is looking all red! on: September 13, 2017, 12:03:24 PM
Hello guys,

What is really happening the market all red?

Woke up this morning with my full confidence that market will continue to recover but it didn't!

Can someone explain to me what is really going on because the market is not recovering, instead going to the hell again, more deeper!

Thank you.

Its really the negative news coming from China that greatly affected the price. Yesterday it was around $42xxx already and I'm thinking that we are already in the road to recovery. But the dump happen again. And then JP Morgan's Dimon claiming the bitcoin is a fraud may have contributed as well to the price declined. It's another bloodbath but I consider this another challenge that bitcoin market can overcome in the next coming weeks. So we don't need to panic but instead this is a chance to get bitcoin at a bargain.

Yes 4 things that are very closely related,
[1.] News not reported properly,
[2.] Bad news reported properly,
[3.] painc selling by people with weak hands who cannot see the big picture or the long game and
[4.] people taking advantage of the uncertainty in the market and selling to drive the price down

6763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think DOGECOIN is the future of Altcoins ? on: September 12, 2017, 09:39:37 PM
I thought Dogecoin was is regression?
Why are people still talking about it? is it because of its LOW LOW price?
I know Exodus wallet have delisted it and are not supporting it any longer!
6764  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I pay with bitcoins now? on: September 12, 2017, 08:50:09 PM
There was a post about 2 weeks ago with an extensive list of
online shops where we can spend bitcoin.

I know of ETSY.com but it depends on each merchant there to
manually set his shop to accept Bitcoin.

Also Overstock.com accept Bitcoin but I have not purchased from them.

I will try and locate that post I mentioned and post it here Huh
6765  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitcoin wallets on: September 12, 2017, 03:55:19 PM
Which is the best wallet for bitcoin with the tiniest fees?

It depends what kind of wallet you want !
I have a bitcoin wallet on GDAX which has ZERO fees for
transferring bitcoin and litecoin from it to another external wallet!
That is depending on whether you want an online wallet.

MOre info can be found on this thread about wallets - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0
6766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 12, 2017, 11:49:21 AM
I would say it is possible to have Bitcoin and crypto as a day job.
There are lots of ways to earn crypto but there are a few skills
needed. If you can program, design, write and trade there are
lots of opportunities especially here on BCT!
6767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: September 11, 2017, 10:11:49 AM
It will hit 100$ at the end of the year. Nothing more, this is just copy of a bitcoin. When bitcoin will get LN, Lite coin will be dumped on the exchanges.

I think you might be wrong with that statement!
I think there is a very big space for Litecoin to move into as Bitcoin
fees are quite high and probably will remain. Bitcoin will be a store of
value particularly for people with a lot of wealth.

Transactions in Litecoin will be more popular for micro transactions.
6768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I convert my BCH to BTC? on: September 11, 2017, 09:51:58 AM
I too have aquired some BCH but I am also holding it
in the hope it will rise in value. I treat it as a thing
to get rid of at the right time because I believe in BTC!
6769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 11, 2017, 07:55:52 AM
I keep buging especially now at a time when others are
Panicking and selling which is affecting the price.

I should add that the time now us a good opportunity to
aquire some currency, i think the value will be rising
When all this China hype settles.
6770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency and the Blockchain coming to an end? on: September 10, 2017, 04:39:09 PM
There is a lot of over reaction to this stuff. It's inevitable that more regulation will come in particularly on the ICOs and exchanges. This is all still like the wild west, a bit more order will be good for crypto and blockchain not a threat to it.

I agree, there is so much fake or semi fake news here now about
China this and China that. I believe Blockchain is the future.
6771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stock ETH on: September 08, 2017, 03:54:02 PM
I would say, Yes, the value will rise, just as Bitcoin and Litecoin
will also rise unless something catastrophic happens which will
affect all coins and crypto currency.

ETH is one of those kind of established coins which enjoys good
useage and adoption.
6772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: News said that China will close local exchanges on: September 08, 2017, 03:50:48 PM
I just skimmed over the report linked above and I
think this is actually about the banning of the ICO's
but re-headlined to mention BITCOIN which will
actually affect the price S H O R T  T E R M

KEEP CALM PEOPLE, DONT PANIC

6773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest for long term or short term gains? on: September 08, 2017, 03:44:55 PM
I think most people are doing the same as the OP
Holding some coins long term and trading others or
portions of the same for the short term!

Myself I am holding Bitcoin of course and some old
reliable alt's for the long term.
and I am also trading on and off the same types of coins.
6774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you hold your coins? on: September 08, 2017, 03:40:04 PM
all crypto is unreliable to a degree! there are going to be
price fluctuations and some coins will have bigger ones
up and down than others. And these movements are
as a result of many influences.

There are a few like the longer standing alt coins which
are reliable to a degree, Ethereum, Dash, Monero, Litecoin,
Ripple, Zcash.....
6775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you hold your coins? on: September 08, 2017, 11:46:39 AM
If you are day trading etc. there is no rule as to how long you
are willing to hold coins. It all depends on your buy price and how
quickly the price of that coin raises to your sell limit.

Coins have been bought at a high price before they dropped
massively in value so you may end up holding coins for months
while you wait for the price to rise, so you really have to
know when to buy!!
6776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: September 08, 2017, 10:54:02 AM
$40 a day should be a realistic return but it takes
some knowledge I think and also to have a few
different projects working at the same time, like
bounties and some trading although trading I
find is quite demanding on time!
6777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin WILL become one world currency. Matter of when, not if. on: September 08, 2017, 06:01:09 AM
Bitcoin will never be adopted by all countries to be a.
one world currency. Each country may adopt a blockchain
Currency for themselves but it wont be bitcoin.

As it is now bitcoin is global but is being used more and
More as a store or value the way Gold is and has been used.
6778  Economy / Services / Re: Will People Buy This ? on: September 07, 2017, 10:51:49 AM
When I first read this I thought "its a ponzi" scheme.
You are using initial investors funds to reward others and so on
thats what it looks like to me.

I understand you probably dont want to give too much away
to protect your idea and it possibly is an ok deal but without
a proper explanation or plan we cannot fully know what it is!

Catch 22
6779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin november hard fork? on: September 07, 2017, 10:29:35 AM
as a relative newbie to the bitcoin scene I dont like
all this forking, I would have preferred the November fork
before the August fiasco as there seems to be more industry
backing of the one coming up. The only thing is FREE coins,
it cannot be good, will it be just diluting the bitcoin pool?
6780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really A Currency or An Asset? on: September 06, 2017, 03:19:49 PM
I think its currently being used as both an currency and as an asset
but I have read here that it is becoming more and more used as a store
of wealth which was/is the territory of Gold and other precious metals
