6781  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn $1 worth of bitcoin everyday? Please help! on: November 10, 2019, 02:17:49 PM
Reading some of the comment and I'm surprised that nobody is offering you to join Cryptotalk forum the link is my current signature, you can sign up there and post and you will earn 1000 sats per post, now that's only 10 cents per post, but you have 30 posts available daily to earn per post, so that's 30000 posts or $3 daily $2 above on what you are asking for, but you need to create 50 posts as trial and your succeeding post you will then earn 100o post. so you will earn only after your 51st post.
6782  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 10, 2019, 12:26:42 PM
I was just wondering if it is possible. What event or series of events could crash the price of Bitcoin to $5? What will you do if that happens?

It will drop to that level even zero if there's a software created to hack any wallet, this means no wallets is now safe and also if the blockchain is compromised, people trust this technology because there are no known vulnerabilities on it,  we are talking about investment and people lose trust on what they invested, they will sell everything to regain what they are going to lose eventually.

Some get merited for making a bounty advert post

That's clearly a merit abuse. If you find one, report it and most of the time, the account will get tagged if there's enough proof. No sane person is going to merit a bounty report.

That's a big no to me and people who give merit to bounty report can be considered his alt account, in fact, these people making bounty report are getting a ban, and they do not add quality to the forum, that is why I prefer doing my other bounty in bounty platform, I don't want any of my post coming from bounty report, my signature campaign did not pay me to do such thing, last time I've done bounty report was when I was a  junior member.
6784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 09, 2019, 03:43:27 PM
And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.

They must first learn how to use the internet before they can hodl or get to know about Bitcoin, the horse must come first before the cart that is the rule, but as years go by and an only small percentage of people do not know about the internet because of Facebook, here in our country majority of the people knows about internet, facebook and computer, only those people who are in the remote region and do not have access to electricity, after we teach them internet then we can introduce Bitcoin.
6785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible Eran free bitcoin without work. on: November 09, 2019, 02:22:33 PM
On point 2 and 4 these are for newbies only, even if there are hundreds of sites like that now, I would not even think of doing these things it's just a waste of time, point 5 and 6 are for those who are advanced holders and can afford to buy and trade because they have the means, point number 1 is for those skilled writers, they really the one that can earn free Bitcoin.
There's no such thing as free coin without work all you pointed out requires work, even buying requires work.
6786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: November 09, 2019, 12:45:38 PM
usually before the pump, the market always falls. and today I see the market experiencing a decline, especially for bitcoin and several other big altcoins. in recent days bitcoin may be able to hold above 9k, but in the end it still falls.

then I wonder if this is really the downfall before the pump?
considering that soon we will enter the end of Q4 2019, and in Q2 2020 bitcoin will be halving. so now is the last time the Whales buy cheap btc. that's why the market was deliberately manipulated to make the price of bitcoin go down. and after that they pump slowly to look like market growth.

so what do you think, is my thinking wrong?

There are many theories on this and yours is just one of this, and every coin has theories on what could be the reason why the coin is going down or going up, every coin has whales behind them and manipulators, but the best indication besides these whales and manipulators are the news and ongoing development of the coin or project, in the case of Bitcoin I consider this as some traders going for exit profit, but there's no doubt Bitcoin will go up because of the halving..
6787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Years Bitcoin (Honor for satoshi nakamoto) on: November 09, 2019, 11:36:49 AM
His story is really interesting and inspiring imagine creating something that revolutionary but do not want to take part of the credit he prefers to leave and let those interested to take over his works, I have never known a creator who did just that, maybe he will never see the real Satoshi Nakamoto but we can honor him by carrying the torch of his works towards the next generation, glad to be part of it in its sixth years got hold of my first Bitcoin back 2016.
6788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: November 08, 2019, 04:16:44 PM
There is still no real use case for the coin. I know it is perhaps taken more seriously now than when it started, but still, it needs a proper use case that distinguishes it from everything else on the market.
I don't think we'll see a price surge based on expectation of future utility for this coin.

If there are no real use case it should have gone long ago if you notice the majority of exchanges had a pair using Doge, and it's being used as a tipping coin from many projects, not to mentioned it is being used in gambling sites, I'm very bullish on Doge, this is a coin that will stay even if there are similar tipping coins in the market, this is the first meme coin in the market.
6789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: November 08, 2019, 03:17:00 PM
Why not it's like hitting a bird with one stone, you are going to make money it's better if they give you a royalty instead of giving you a one time payment, and you can also help other chronic gamblers, by your story you can inspire other gamblers that there is still hope in their situation and they should not give up, even if there are privacy risk, it's part of the deal to make the book interesting.
6790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WILL YOU STILL INVEST IN CRYPTO ? on: November 08, 2019, 01:54:12 PM
No, i would no longer invest in ICO because most of it are scam but i would invest in IEO if they are legitimate and has some good backers. I prefer POS not POW because POS only needs stake and doesnt require huge amount of electricity to participate.

The same with me. ICOs did not prove that they can be 100% trusted. However, this decision does not mean that I will not work with cryptocurrencies. Vice versa, I will invest in crypto more. The market is getting ready to shoot, and the holders will get profit; they will be awarded for their patience and faith in crypto.

This has been the general sentiment of the majority of investors, that is why we see a lot of projects not reaching their soft cap, failed to properly manage their platform to make it competitive and gain acceptance from the community, there are still a lot of coins in the market that worth second look that already has a platform, instead of looking for new ones, let's give those coins who are already in the market a second look.
6791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: November 08, 2019, 12:15:55 PM
By going through multiple pages of this discussion, I conclude there are two category of gamblers: first one gamblers who worship bitcoin so they never think about gambling with that and the second category is, they love to risk so they want to bet with bitcoin because it is having the highest value among cryptos.

Some people are having altcoins to gamble with because, for the same kind of gambling pressure still with less-risky way. I believe they are still belonging to 1st category. Almost all the altcoin gamblers are having their own reasons to make use of different coins for gambling still I do see them as a strong bitcoin adopters.

But, most of the gamblers are not having any favorite but they have some reason for not using bitcoins.

I am one of those who don't want to use Bitcoin when gambling, I'm thinking that Bitcoin will be very valuable next year because of the halving and it has more potential in the market than any other coins, I rather and prefer to use other coins that the gambling site allows using, some of the other coins I've used are Doge, very popular among gamblers, XRP, Litecoin, I'm also playing in Eos based Dapps like Bethash.

6793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 07, 2019, 02:42:02 PM
I haven't watched the fight but one of my relative living on Japan posted it on social media that Donaire lost. He said that it was like Donaire is allowing Inoue to punch him but that's being Inoue having no loss and a champ.

Naoya Inoue beats Nonito Donaire in back and forth FOTY contender

Respect for Donaire I guess age caught up with him there was a time that he almost knock Inoue but he cannot keep up but he is still strong but against a young fighter like Inoue he will have a hard time, Inoue admitted
Quote
that Donaire is a true champion, he's very strong and he's my toughest fight yet! I want to be the strongest and best of all-time."
Inoue will have a lot of tough fight ahead and he really needs this kind of fight
6794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 07, 2019, 12:50:52 PM
There is nothing yet on youtube but there are move live links in facebook to watch live. Inoue's brother just lose a fight right now.

My money is on Donaire. I could be over confident there is no way that short man can knock the experienced Donaire, he had fought bigger fighters before and almost knockout Nicholas Walters. If you have to look at the records of Inoue, I don't see big guys on his list.

You can check the live youtube fight here compare to Facebook it's much clearer here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zna-OCmKXEE
but there are also a lot on Facebook so much interested generated on this fight
6795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Play Simple FOMO, an ETH-based lottery where the last player to enter wins all. on: November 07, 2019, 12:37:39 PM
This game is quite interesting, like to be honest this is still subject to manipulation by the developer because he controls everything here, but I like to see who is going to be the winner and if they can keep this application clean from manipulation, but yes this works like a Ponzi Scheme, but the difference is the one that comes in late is the winner.
6796  Other / Meta / Re: Is it legal to send messages to bitcointalk users? on: November 07, 2019, 11:27:38 AM
I'm surprised nobody quoted the rules:

29. Sending unsolicited PMs, including but not limited to advertising and flood, is not allowed.

That's true the right thing to do is to be transparent, create a thread here, not a moderated one, then leave your telegram or twitter handle or any contact info for the interested party, I never reply personal messages coming from newbies or those I have no prior communication in discussions.
6797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scarcity is one of the leading factors of Bitcoins value on: November 07, 2019, 10:53:55 AM
21 million cap in my opinion is not about scarcity and price but instead it is more about having a clear maximum supply and a clear predefined plan for distribution of that supply.

Are you trying to say that 21 million bitcoins are a lot?

I disagree with that. There are today near 8 billion people in the world

So, if we make the math, there is 0.002625 Bitcoin for each living person.
However, world population keep growing at exponential rate. Soon it will be less than 0.002 for each

Look at this wikipedia image
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_population

21 million is not a perfect supply for me because not all coins are accounted for there are unused coins like those on Nakamoto's wallet and those lost from carelessness and lost private keys and you are right our population is growing and many countries are now started adopting Bitcoin, but supply is indeed the leading factor, more adoption od less supply means higher price.

I have seen this on Youtube, i hope this is legit. Live streaming of the Inoue vs. Donaire fight.

Enjoy.

Edit:
I will delete this post if the link is a hoax.

There are a lot of live streams on Facebook just use the keywords Inoue Donaire fight live, it's easy to be taken down on Youtube than on Facebook, because they broadcast it on their page, right now the main fight is not yet started, only the supporting bout. there are at least 3 you can choose from but more to come when the main fight goes live
6799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 06, 2019, 06:04:01 PM

I doubt this fight will go the distance. One of them will certainly hit the canvas unconscious. Inoue has all the edge in this fight. Nonito, although relishing and seems challenged enough by his underdog position in this match, has very slim chance to win. Inoue has very convincing early KO wins in this World Boxing Super Series leading to this Donaire match. As much as I want Nonito to win, it is highly unlikely. And so I will go for Inoue with 1.77 odds over 4.5.

The first round is the test if Donaire can withstand the power-punching of Inoue, I just hope it will not end like the Duno Garcia, Donaire is a wiser guy here, he is a thinking fighter if he can take Inoue's punch, Donaire's experience will emerge here, he knows how to dominate a slugger like what he did with Darchinyan, he needs to be patience and calculated with his moves.
6800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 06, 2019, 05:42:28 PM
I've been into gambling for a long, my major focus was on sports betting. From sports betting earned good, but I wasn't able to make the success continue. I lost out of greed, further my focus turned towards casinos where we get the instant results and doesn't want to wait as we wait on sports betting till a match gets over. By this time I was entirely new to it, and lost big. If someone have contacted me I could've stopped it for a while and lowered my loses.

Recently while playing dice, I saw a person who was wagering with large funds to recover the loss. By the time he has lost part of what I have lost. I texted him my experience, and suggested to stop it before things go out of his hands. He didn't responded, finally he lost everything. Have any of you got such experience.
In my experience, I did it once I almost got into a fight, the guy told me it's his money and no one should care or bother to tell him what to do, or what not to do, and he's right if he wants to lose it all and just what to make the feel, win or lose then let him, it's none of our business, let him carry his business, whether he is your friend or not.
