681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What new categories of bounty would you like to see? on: March 18, 2019, 01:24:38 PM
We are preparing for our ICO launch and I would like to take a step further and engage the existing and upcoming bounty-hunters with a personal question.

When you participate in a bounty programme it normally offers the classic categories: Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, Signature, Translation and some sort of content creation.

Is there a new kind of bounty you would like to pursue?

Create a platform where bounty hunters can create account and do daily tasks and this platform will calculate daily tasks automatically for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Steemit, telegram, Signature, translation, Reddit tasks. You can also add VK bounty because VK is now a growing popular social media like facebook.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: March 18, 2019, 01:20:45 PM
I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.

If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.

Last year, we have seen many news about exchanger hack, banned crypto in few countries, wallet hack etc. If exchangers hack can be stopped, investors confidence level will grow up and this confidence level will pull the bearish market. If crypto is taken as legal entity in the major countries, it will grow confidence level in the market. Protecting fraud ICOs can also have positive impact on the market also.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major Correction on its way ! on: March 17, 2019, 03:22:51 PM
I see it is yes.The market getting correction slowly.
I believe in this year , the cryptocurrency market will close the bearish trend.

I suppor this believe. Gradually this bearish trend is vanishing from the crypto markets as we have seen from the last two months. Altcoins are now getting recovery, that's good sign and investors are becoming active.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: March 17, 2019, 11:49:35 AM
Detecting Scam ICO or inactive , scam team is very difficult before passing ICO. Some projects become inactive after ICO, their intention was only to raise fund, not to implement roadmap. Investors hence suffer losses. Heart attack isn't solution. You should be patience now and wait for holding in your wallet.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: March 17, 2019, 11:45:26 AM
The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and some promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystem

Altcoins are now started pumping gradually. I have recovered 30% losses from the last week. Investors are becoming active, that's why altcoins are growing but i don't agree with zero value although some shitcoins will vanish few years later.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins in cryptocurrency? on: March 17, 2019, 07:07:24 AM
How many stable coins have been registered at Coinmarketcap to date? And what is the cheapest price. Please provide your knowledge, Thank you for contributing to this comment.

There is no list of such stable coins in coinmarket yet. There are more than 2000+ coins in coinmarketcap, from which you can select few coins first from the top 100. Then research on that coins and select final few coins to invest. If you find cheap coins by research, you will get but this is not always stable in the same position.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns going into extinction? on: March 17, 2019, 07:04:23 AM
It is a well known fact that bounty hunters  are likened to promotional  arm of any ico projects.
They create awareness about these projects and get paid for their jobs.
So now that IEO seems to be the trend ...... Binance has carried out 2 successful IEO on it's platform and Bittrex did theirs today.
I have come to realize that none of this projects conducted any bounty campaigns.
If IEO eventually beats ICOs, that would mean the extinction of bounty campaigns.
Should bounty hunters be worried over this?
Why are this projects not conducting bounty campaigns?
Please I need an enlightenment.
Than you.

Right, Binance has successfully done 2 IEO and hence there is no contribution of bounty hunters and there was no bounty budget. This is really a matter of worry for the bounty hunters. Some projects will conduct with binance to do the same way by paying some fees to the binance.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death Penalty to ICO Scammers! Are you favor it? on: March 16, 2019, 03:49:42 PM
As we all know still exit scam ICO's are victimizing investors including me in my frustration I wish these people be killed or if busted they must sentenced to death Penalty are you favor of it.

Last few months ICO was nearly stopped and Scammers were in rest. Now market conditions are becoming better and ICOs are getting more investors. That's why scammers are now becoming active to cheat and stole investors money by creating any fake project. Recently we have seen many scam projects in the ICOs. Investors should be aware of it.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will Die on: March 16, 2019, 01:30:19 AM
How one of the top 3 coins (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple) will die? XRP is now on 3rd rank and is good competitor with ETH. I also believe that XRP will exist and its price will be at least 5 times after 5 years. There is no reason to die XRP yet. So be logical and practical. If crypto exist, Bitcoin, ETH and XRP will exist.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think would be the best in the long run? on: March 16, 2019, 01:25:37 AM
Which coin do you think would be the best in the long run?

Please recommend the coins.
I don't want to buy for short investment.
There are so many blockchain projects in the world.
What project looks most promising?  Smiley Smiley

I would recommend BTC, ETH and XLM. If you invest USD $, i think it is better for you to invest in BTC and ETH for long term like one or two years from now. If you invest in XLM for long term, it can be more profitable than few other coins. I would recommend you to invest in two or three coin, not only in one coin.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: March 16, 2019, 01:21:40 AM
No funds no project idea makes me sick and tired of ICO ,I never like the idea right from the beginning ,why? Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail, this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki, haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.

There are a lot of scam icos and projects we have seen in the past year. The projects passed in the ICOs are maximum idle in this situation, so its effect on price of that coins. You have to wait now, nothing to for you in this moment. But if you invest again, i would suggest you to invest only strong coins based on the research of your own, not any shit coins because i have also lost my capital in shitcoins.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl some of your coins Billion people will use Crypto in 5 years on: March 12, 2019, 08:55:20 AM
Whatever happen do keep some of your coins that has good potential in the market, because in the next five years Billion of people are going to use cryptocurrency, so even if you have few satoshis in your wallet, it could still worth hundreds of dollars.

Check this article and let me know your thoughts.

https://www.ccn.com/a-billion-people-will-be-using-cryptocurrency-in-5-years-brian-armstrong

Idea is good. I am holding my coins untill i get back my capital either for one year or five years from now. It billions of more people use crypto in the next 5 years, it will be good crypto market expansion.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to rise above the price of $ 4000?? on: March 12, 2019, 08:48:13 AM
its the mining:market dynamics

when its cheaper to buy coin rather than mine it, people buy it. when its cheaper to mine it than buy it people mine it.
when prices get above a certain level and it becomes profitable to sell, people do that.

if a price exceeds this 'value' area and prices spike into speculation, expect it to correct back down into reasonable value area.
the only way to have sustained value increase is to have the costs of obtaining it sustainable. which for multiple years has been the hashrate. which while the whole sell off of s9's to be used on altcoins and the fresh purchases of s15(bing slow) to replace, and a upcoming(but not yet here) s17 range.. has not shown much hashrate rise to sustain and give the market higher bottomline support to encourage sustained growth

Right, at low price it is better to buy rather than mine and when it is cheap to mine than people want to buy. This is radiculas matter that people do opposite what the situation demands. No matter, we need to be more patience at this time.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: March 12, 2019, 08:45:01 AM
At the end of last February, Warren made a sensation again by saying that BTC was only a Delusion. He also said that BTC does not have a unique value, BTC cannot make a profit.

Warren Buffet always praised blockchain technology, but he never praised BTC. I think he is not objective.

but on the other hand, the Warren Buffet company has a large loss of $ 4.3 billion. I don't like this person, he always has a bad statement to make the crypto market fall.
He praised Blockchain technology but he ignores Bitcoin, this is radiculas from the point of view. This type of person should be avoided and  shouldn't heed upon their words.
695  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Sites on: March 12, 2019, 08:42:40 AM
I assume you are talking about "cloud" mining, which is where you pay a site to mine for you. Most of these are outright scams. The rest are not likely to make a profit.

Your best and most profitable option is to simply buy the bitcoins instead of investing in cloud mining.

Right, I have invested in few mining sites like hashflair and few but maximum are scams. After three years, i still haven't recovered capital at least 25%. So from my personal experience i want to say "don't think to invest in any mining sites".
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 - the end of 90% altcoin? on: March 11, 2019, 03:48:41 AM
Since we have an exploding amount of ICO started from mid this year and most of these projects says they will have at least a prototype around end 2018 to 2019. Many of hear ICO projects will delay the release date, but nevertheless many of them should have something by the mid to end 2019.

What will happen to these ICOs that cannot deliver the promise? They will become zombie coin, as we have see the confido cases as I suspect there will be much more project fail down the track. And only a few hat will be among the top 25 coins with working project.

Do you guys think we the investors will be less interested in ICO in the following years as we gradually learn that we might not get our money back if we are stuck with these coins? And the number of the good coins will increases and people have more choices to diversify rather than just put the money in BTC and ETH?

I don't think 90% of altcoins will die in 2019. But it is a matter of really disappointment that few shitcoins are destroying the market. This few shit coins will vanish sooner or later.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING on: March 08, 2019, 07:09:59 AM
I have taken part in many failed ICOs and few successful ones. After a series of failed ICOs owing to scam cases and insincere teams leading to heavy dump after listing and in turn blaming the bearish market, I have sometimes share in the sentiment of many projects who blame the bad market for their coin heavy dump, but two case study has shown that with a good team and the right strategy, their coin needs not dump to "hell-fire" as we are currently experiencing thereby discouraging investors.

Binance exchange have conducted two successful ICO/IEO on their launchpad, with both doing very well above the inertial offering. The first one is said to have lasted about 16mins and all sales was sold out. while the second one which I participated in only lasted just 22secs and individual  cap was $3,000. Both are currently doing very well above the ICO prices. With the success of these two launched so far. more and more people are interested in participating in such project as it has some level of trust and integrity, and not when team after conducting ICOs, will not even pay bounty hunters, but keep posting them, but when they finally pay and get listed, the price will just be a shit.

Anyone team still willing to conduct ICO should come up with a mechanism to defend their projects from gravitation free falls, so as investors don't loss hope in their project and later blame the hailing market. Hard times call for a new set of thinking for a change.

ICOs success depends on team performance. If the team are experienced, well cooperated, future oriented, past successful backgroun, project will sure success but at present many failed ICOs due to bad market and team's inexperienced attitude.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: March 06, 2019, 05:58:47 AM
Countries in the continent africa is embracing the blockchain technology and Bitcoin in their masses. In some countries the government of the day are showing some kind of support or interest for the new technology while others are advising their citizens not to use the cryptocurrency due to fear of fraudulent activities. I have taken my time, done some research plus the little knowledge I already have, made this thread to highlight the three ways Bitcoin is been used in Africa. They include;

[1]: Trading and investment:
Most citizens of countries in Africa like Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Kanye, South Africa etc have turned to Bitcoin as their recuse from poverty and others to increase their asset portfolio. According to the report carried out in August 2018, five (5) Africa countries where ranked among the Top 50 highest traders of Bitcoin on Localbitcoin exchange namely;
7. Nigeria – $258M
10. South Africa – $98M
23. Kenya – $25M
36. Morocco -- $6M
43. Tanzania -- $2M
Source

Note: This is just a statistics from one exchange, we have numerous exchange both locally and international that Africans are trading on and that's just one of the ways Bitcoin (cryptocurrency in general) is been used in Africa.

[2] Online shopping:
The number of cryptocurrency related online shops is raising daily mostly in South Africa and Nigeria. Africans can now buy goods online from the comfort of their home and pay with bitcoin. Physical store are also joining the party, In 2017 one of South Africans biggest grocery stores called Pick n Pay showed interest in accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment we also have numerous merchant already accepting Bitcoin and few of them can be found here, Merchants Accepting bitcoins for Payment in Africa

[3]: Online transaction (money transfer):
Any one familiar with Africans knows we're migraters, there isn't any part of the world you'll go that you won't find Africans in their number, majority of the times it's the hustle that take them there. Many Africans leave their country for search of greener pastures in Western countries and when they succeed they always struggled to send money back to their families but with the help of Bitcoin everything has changed as sending money is now made easier, cheaper, faster and more secured. The luno wallet/exchange is one of the many platforms used for that purpose as it make it easier to convert Bitcoin to local currency.

If you're a blockchain developer and you were looking for the next regional area to get potential customer for whatever service you're providing I suggest you join the few companies tapping the potential found in Africa.

Here are some useful article you can read to convince you more;
Why Africa Is Fertile Ground for Bitcoin Adoption
Top 5 African Countries That Are Embracing Bitcoin

On your LocalBitcoin's statement, it is clear that Nigeria is the top used Bitcoin country in Africa. South Africa is the second position in Bitcoin trade and transaction on the basis of localbitcoin information. Africa is going ahead to the use of bitcoin rapidly. Maximum African countries are still far behind in Bitcoin so Bitcoin related persons should come forward to the engagement of that countries.
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2020 Halving on: March 06, 2019, 05:44:35 AM
85% of all Bitcoins will have already be mined by the time of the halving. How do you think Bitcoins 2020 halving will affect its price?

Of course it will affect the price. Miners will have less bitcoin to sell, so by the economic law of supply and demand, it will in theory, increase the price. As the supply is now lower

85% of Bitcoins are already mined. It means that very few amount of Bitcoins are yet to be mined. So miners will earn less and it surely affects Bitcoin price because supply will not increase, demand will increase for Bitcoin purchase. So market price of Bitcoin will hit to the upward trend.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 04, 2019, 02:48:59 PM
ETH is obviously the king of Altcoins and no altcoins is similar to ETH. Light Coin is a good coin but it is not same to ETH. ETH is the most wide spread used altcoins ether in ICOs, Exchangers, Ethereum platform DEX and others but LTC is not widespread used coin like ETH.
