681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Destroy 1,069 Bitcoin Miners With Steamroller In Malaysia on: July 20, 2021, 02:22:59 PM
The Malaysian authorities action is very clear and it was a strong message, that stealing electricity in their country to mine Bitcoin will face the same fate, and I think it is a very effective public warning for future offenders, but on the other side destroying $1.2 Million worth mining machines is not efficient, why just destroy some of them to show and send the message to the public and most of it will be sold for an auction? anyway, it was just my opinion.

But in terms of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency being banned, I guess the Malaysian regulators are not so serious about it because since 2017-2018 a lot of rumors about the possible Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading banned in Malaysia but until now it's not yet happening. I guess the Malaysian financial authorities are carefully studying the case.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to use ETH on: July 19, 2021, 02:50:03 PM
Honestly speaking At first I was only using Ethereum just because many of the ICO projects are using the erc20 algorithm. But that's before because my perspective about Ethereum today has changed.

Most crypto users know how Ethereum changed the smart contract services and revolutionized it as what we have seen today. And that particular reason why, Ethereum is very popular and continuously growing bigger and bigger, even if some problems related to expensive gas fees have brought negativity to the Ethereum network and become one of the hottest topics in the crypto space recently. But besides that challenges, Ethereum has still managed to grow, along with the layer 2 solutions like Polygon, BSC, and many others.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether FUD on: July 19, 2021, 11:45:38 AM
What are your thoughts on the Tether FUD? Is it something to be concerned about? Could it possibly bring down Bitcoin if Tether implodes? Even Vitalik has expressed concerns about Tether and he doesn't fuck around

I think there's nothing new about this FUD, And it was already discussed many times, that's why let it vanish naturally, by the way, the concern is about the Bitcoin price impact if the Tether face scrutiny from the regulators and find out that it was not totally backed with fiat (dollar), IMO there's nothing serious about that fear because Bitcoin is not pegged on any currency or assets, so why bothering with it if the Tether operation will be banned or ceased, I believe there's a lot of stable coins out there to use. that's why it will not affect the Bitcoin price for that particular reason only and that's my opinion about it.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claim your FOX token If you used ShapeShift Before June 9 2021 on: July 18, 2021, 09:17:23 AM
I remember that I was using shapeshift before, sometimes from 2016-2018, respectively, and also in some wallets like JAxx wallet? that shapeshift exchange was connected I was frequently using it to exchange my Dash and Ethereum Classic to Bitcoin, from my cloud mining contract in 2016 But I don't know if those trades are valid because it was done directly on Jaxx wallet. anyway, I will try to locate that old addy and those private keys. who knows if I
was eligible to receive that fox airdrop.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What characteristics of coins do you see as promising innovative for the future? on: July 18, 2021, 08:54:34 AM
I would like to ask the community, what coins do you see in the future, in 5 years, in the TOP 10? I would come from the other end. What characteristics of coins do you see as promising, innovative for the future of digital assets? What qualities should they have?
Some anonymity already exists, and a stable exchange rate too. In what direction the crypto industry will move? Thank you

My own little way to find out if the project is promising and has a bright future is, I need to see first who are the team members, and where they came from, what is their expertise, second is the use cases, utilization and how can be the real-world will benefit from that project or what problem the project will solve/disrupt things like that are very important to determine if it was a promising project or not.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC exist without Fiat? on: July 17, 2021, 03:50:27 PM
IMO, I dont think so, because In the first place Bitcoin was created to fix a particular problem on fiat, so without fiat, I believe Bitcoin was not put into an idea, and later on, it was materialized and made by Satoshi. Let us accept the fact that even today the price of Bitcoin was tied up on fiat (US dollar) to be exact, so it is very difficult to remove fiat into the current system, that's why let them co-exist so that people will have an option.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TLM Coin Pumping. Why? on: July 16, 2021, 03:55:30 PM
Is tlm coin is good coin or not? Whole Cryptomarket is dumping. Bitcoin market is at 32000$ but TLM coin is still pumping what reason behind this Tlm is good coin or Dot coin or Neo coin which coin is best for long term investment atleast for 1 year?

Mate, that's normal in this industry, You know crypto projects usually doing some tricks, I'm not saying that all of them, instead of many of them, and I think it's normal, As you said the whole market was bleeding and why TLM coin/token was pumping, maybe for some reason it has a huge demand that's why the price was pumping or else it was artificially induce who knows this is crypto space and everything is possible.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: July 16, 2021, 03:45:38 PM
That's what they always say, but in reality, it is pretty hard to practice those reminders, I don't know what was the reason but in my personal experiences the incidents just keep repeating that's why for me I won't bother it anymore its additional burden in my head, by the way, crypto-related stress can trigger anxiety attacks, I have a friend that was currently experienced it. because of that reason, I'm started to control my crypto-related goals by removing those too-good-to-be-true targets.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: July 15, 2021, 10:37:12 AM
IMHO, I think the author has only expressed her opinion, But if we closely examine beyond that argument, Tether Ltd really looks suspicious, if the USDT was really back with I is to 1 ratio against the dollar, Tether Ltd should establish it with supported facts and evidence for the sake of that argument and remove any doubt.

But in terms of the Bitcoin price and value, if something happens on USDT and it will become zero, I think it will only temporarily affect Bitcoin price and eventually, it will return to normal asap. Just because USDT is just one of the many dollar-pegged cryptocurrencies in the market that's why it will not affect that much. But if that really happens the volume of USDT-Bitcoin pair will simply go to other Bitcoin- Dollar pegged pairs, like USDC, BUSD, Pax, etc.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COUNTRIES COULD FOLLOW EL SALVADOR BY MAKING BITCOIN LEGAL TENDER? on: July 15, 2021, 09:42:17 AM
I think the Latin American countries like Paraguay and Panama are more likely to follow El Salvador's footsteps, Because it has strong support from its lawmakers, and also the tiny Pacific island nation of Tonga has also announced its plans to make Bitcoin a Legal tender, while in southeast Asia I can't see any act or attempt to recognized Bitcoin as legal tender, in fact, more Southeast Asian nation is pressing hard to regulate cryptocurrency use like trading, etc In my country, there is a designated zone for the crypto platform to operate, and currently, there are 12 Central Bank license crypto platforms in my country.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap v3 launches Optimistic Ethereum layer two scaling in alpha on: July 14, 2021, 01:48:16 PM
Long-awaited layer two scaling is finally being launched on Uniswap v3, albeit in a limited format initially.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/uniswap-v3-launches-optimistic-ethereum-layer-two-scaling-in-alpha

The unprecedented growth of UNISWAP brings a huge opportunity to most of the DEx protocols, But due to the expensive gas fees on Ethereum Network, it has caused a temporary slowdown on Ethereum base DEx's and paving the rise of the layer 2 solutions and I hope because of the UNISWAP v3 launch the problem of expensive gas fees will be totally solved and will be totally out of the picture.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still the favorite choice on: July 14, 2021, 01:26:36 PM
IMO, I believe it is and it was no doubt about it, the first thing is Bitcoin as a pioneering cryptocurrency exert a deep influence throughout the industry, the second thing was Bitcoin has the largest share of the pie in the Crypto Market Capitalization, and maybe it was the main reason why many new investors are still choosing Bitcoin as a coin choice for investment compared to other cryptocurrencies in the market. That's why it has no doubt Bitcoin still the favorite choice for investors.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 13, 2021, 04:36:41 PM
I believe losing money in crypto is just normal due to its nature. But we can minimize it if we applied some measures. "Crypto is a high risk, but high return" type of investment. and because it was very speculative that's why it has no guaranteed returns, second is the volatility, In 2018 I was also done some speculative action on new projects that ending up losing 95 percent of my investment during the 2018-2019 crypto winter, I accept crypto and it was the reality.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BabyDogeCoin] I got it ripped off my BabyDoge, I need help on: July 13, 2021, 04:13:28 PM
Hello

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️😓😓😭😭

(I'm ashamed of my mistake, I don't need judgment)

I got ripped off by the NASCAR fundraising call.
I put almost all of my savings into the BabyDoge project almost from the start. This investment was to be used to pay for my children's school when they grow up. And there I lost 4'000'000'000'000'000 BabyDoge. I don't like to ask but if the community wants to help me go up the slope a bit for my children I would be very happy

The hash fraudulent transaction: https://bscscan.com/tx/0xeb976ef53d41b4d193934fc38257aac635cb75a7620e908df0ef6db374d0f0e3

Or do you know how to get them back?

Thank you for your help Cry

I'm very sorry for that unfortunate incident, and I think you been victimized through Phishing, and if the transaction was done on DEX, I believe there is no remedy to recover it, I'm just wondering if that money is for your children and it was purposely intended for school payment then why did you invest it on a meme coin? I'm sorry to say this, but it was a very unwise move. you better learn your lesson now so that it will not happen in the future.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make sure a projects funds are safe? on: July 12, 2021, 02:32:11 PM
I think thats pretty hard to guarantee! that all results will always good in the end. Because in crypto everything is possible, If the development team has absolute control to all of those funds, I believe that the risk is even higher, But if the token sale was made on a centralized platform like Binance that the arrangement was made in good terms like an extra level of funds security, team KYC and all other kinds of preventions, from unauthorized access of those funds, IMO, I believe It will be much safer if the token sale was made on a centralized platform like Binance compare to DExes. Just my opinion.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China says no to miners mean something else on: July 12, 2021, 02:04:22 PM
What do you guys think about this? I have friend in China and they told me that their government don't want people to mine any more even if you decide to pay them 10% of your mining reward or pay more electricity bill, their plan is no more miners in the country, what do you think is going on here?

My own reply is the government don't want self made millionaires, they want more workers for the government and crypto mining isn't making that happen, am I wrong?

You know that the Chinese government is run by the Powerful Communist Party and their own word is the law in China, If the Communist Government has warned you it means that they are dead serious to enforce that law, If the Government says that mining all kinds of cryptocurrency is not allowed in China it must be enforced with all might that's their law they don't care about those self-made millionaires they only care about is their own interest and since they have the CBDC project (Digital Yuan) that they want to protect. that's why we must consider China out of the Crypto Picture.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 10, 2021, 04:58:40 PM
When people saw the value of Bitcoin, they also created various altcoins. Some people who make a profit from investing in Bitcoin will also choose to invest in altcoins.
In such a messy market, can we still allocate assets to cryptocurrencies? What should be done with altcoins?

Why altcoins are rampant in the market? It's too obvious because Altcoins is the dominant number in the crypto Industry they are tons of altcoins in the market nowadays. Let me remind you that any other coins/tokens aside from Bitcoin are called Altcoins that's why it was very rampant because they are too many. Anyway, the truth is we cannot restrict any developer to create another altcoin because the market is open that's why altcoins are flourishing so much. On another aspect, I believe it is not messy because it only shows that the crypto industry is continued to develop further.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the currencies in the movie are Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 04:48:12 PM
IMO, I believe it was useful because it serves as a promotion for Bitcoin although it was only in the movies. But still, it served a purpose, As long as the movie is not portraying negativity against Bitcoin it's also useful like a series on NetFlix titled MoneyHiest Season 4 Bitcoin was also mentioned as a reference and in the latter part of the series they explain how paper money printed out from thin air. It makes sense that's why if more movies were using Bitcoin as a reference, the better.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 08, 2021, 04:04:35 PM
Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.

If that happens the crypto market will crash slowly because US crypto users and investors are large in number, so definitely it has a huge effect on the crypto market, But that was only a worst-case scenario because I believe that an advanced country like the US will not do that, instead, they will enforce some safeguards and strong regulatory requirements, but I dont think they will ban it. The US is very different from China in almost every aspect so I believe it will not happen.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will El Salvador become the "Home of Bitcoin"? on: July 08, 2021, 03:53:37 PM
IMO, I think It depends on your definition of the word "home" Let's have a look at the situation recently El Salvador government was adopted Bitcoin as legal tender despite the warning of the International lending agencies like WorldBank, But besides that turn out of events we cannot say that El Salvador is a new home of Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a decentralized digital asset so technically Bitcoin are everywhere as long as there is an internet connection and people used or stored Bitcoins in their wallets Bitcoin exist, so Bitcoin home is not just in one place but almost in the entire planet.
