Yeah, I'm probably not gonna send snus because it would take time for me to check if the destination country allows it or not and I don't want to get in trouble because of it  . I don't want to spend a lot. Its for a friend who wants GPS app on a phone rather than a dedicated GPS.

That was the plan, to go with 3rd party app. Mainly it will be for off-road mapping. I wasn't planning to use this phone to make calls or send texts, so GPS has to work without getting any data.
Needs to be relatively quick with a decent processor in it, good size screen, and enough memory for all the GPS maps I'll need. 8-16 GB should do it. Or a micro-SD card slot.
Carrier doesn't matter. Especially if I can unlock it.

The concept of life having value is what brought on taxes and religious wars. The sooner we stop thinking we are valuable, the sooner we can succeed as a species to accomplish great things.
The Nazi Party thought so too. But that aside, society ceases to function if no life has value. I mean, we could let a lot of murderers out of prison and save a pile of money, if people didn't take human life so seriously. What about all those old-age pensioners? Are they next on the chopping block? The Nazi's taught eugenics to children in school. Teachers made a mathematics and economics lesson out of disposing of handicapped people to save state resources. Its an extremist concept I can't ever imagine embracing. |

I also recommend f.lux. It's REALLY helpful. +1 to f.lux. great app. It changes the color temperature of the light to simulate evening sunlight conditions. |

Keep in mind the time of this original post was right after the huge crash in 2011 where everyone was saying Bitcoin was done for. It echoes the sentiment of the time.
The only people who thought bitcoin was done for, were those only in it for the profit and not informed enough to understand bitcoin's significance. The price of bitcoins does not matter for bitcoin the protocol. |

i googled that (we have a local Ikea in a nearby town) and it doesn't look like Ikea does or will ever sell tobacco products. They have a strong family-friendly image that they won't risk damaging; despite Ikea's owner has used Snus all his life and is now protesting increased tax on snus in Sweden.
