Hi family.
I've been enjoying watching everyone buzz around and NOT need us pacifying you guys daily anymore. Some of you seem to want/need more attention from us than others but over all the team is fully up to date with the thread despite not posting in it.
CryptoZark has become our voice here as we continue to take care of things behind the scenes and keep pulling away slowly from here to make the community continue to be self-sustainable.
In no particular order:
* The things you're seeing pop out from the community aka android ap/other aps are all indeed paid for not sure who/where some of you got the idea we're not giving ppl bounties. It's a beautiful thing to see you guys want to give him more though, he deserves it and has been troubleshooting the android ap for well over a month which should be costing us a lot (We technically will be the first ap to have tx support now).
* We're looking at creative ways to update the wallet with some of the new tech and easthetics however this is a sensitive move.
* CryptoZark is pretty much done with the new site and we could have had it launched by now but we want to make sure we don't have to go back to it/refix anything or get it working on more sizes/platforms/devices etc. so please bare with us.
* Next round of bounties, although it's a bit of a catch 22, will happen when we have movement and the price increases - you gotta admit - for those of you who see 'nothing' coming from the dev team directly, our 24hr volume and overall adoption is going well not dying/dumping - we still create a lot of coins daily, and we still move a lot of them into fresh hands.
* The main problem, if you want to call it that - is logistics at this point, so many people asking for more stuff from us, and so many ppl asking us to give them stuff to do - it still tends to fall back on the core team to either implement or finalize or go over initiatives and fix grammar/typo's/assign people to proof stuff before it hits publication, etc.
* Above and beyond this, we're also busy bee's working on our new exchange and trying to coordinate our next round of press, although not fully planned we hope by the time our new wallets come we have a timeline and focus for the PR.
* Other coins are still diluting the market however consolidation has indeed already started to happen and there aren't nearly as many launches anymore, industry is sick of them and imo we've 'made it' into the long term coins that stay. We're not going to be pulling out all ammo 247 and right now what seems like a lull is actually the model continuing to prove itself imo - current hot coins are taking the industry by storm while we queitly work on our next moves which will pop by design when there is rhyme and reason to pop.

To EAC Devs, Please talk to the host of Middlecoin. His relentless, brief rapes of EAC have ruined mining interest by spiking difficulty, making mining worthless, and no one knows when to buy or sell because of their mass dumping of several BTCs worth. EAC is not even close to one of the most profitable to mine most times, but they still rape it regardless. They want it dead. Check this out, my address at MC. On friday, you see where my balance goes straight up? MC finally dumped most of their 5x coins. We have no advantage/disadvantage compared to other coins, our block type/random helps but I doubt me reaching out to any automation system asking "please stop playing with our coin" is going to do much other than potentially ask for more of the same. In time I'm sure variables will change. I don't tend to give MC that much credit, and or they can do the same to any/all future and existing coins. The team is excited and we're doing a lot of stuff here that will be reflected on the front end in the coming weeks - we ask for everyone's patience while we develop and rollout the new tweaks and assets. |

I'm not really complaining but things could be better, i know people are really busy but things off the top of my head, take youtube for example, why doesnt it get utilized more? Sort your YouTube channel out, you added a pretty good vid then removed it, the channel still doesn't have the correct logo icon in my subs page You could start using the premine to pay YouTube creators that regularly cover alt-coins news to have a look at earth coin and do a vid on it, good for visibility no? Pay Bill Still to get involved, he probably did more for quarks at the start than anything else imo. Twitter, you let /earthcoins get snapped by someone else, also the name cryptoboomer is bad marketing for the coin imo, disassociate that account from the coin, create another one, use your real name etc. Add the dev team, name, pictures, qualifications to the earthcoin foundation page, see worldcoin foundation for example. People want to invest in the development team as much as the coin, to know it has a real future. Reddit page needs developing, proper icons etc. Doge coin is all about reddit and its doing great, for a shit coin. Generally let people know what your doing with the premined coins so they dont think your just using them to sell on market, calm peoples fears more I'm sorry if this offends people, just off top of my head. Thank you, now that's progressive and proper criticism . Some of this is already happening and some of it may happen downstream, I appreciate your input. Once the new site/brand tweak is up, we can rollout with a lot more assets and utilize the platforms out there better. Can EAC be listed on Bter , bte-38, guogao.com and Okcoin. They have your target client.Twitter and Google have lots of users but only 1% will use EAC at this stage. We love EAC.
You better believe we're trying! However we can't really talk about behind the scenes stuff like this or be here to reassure people that we're always trying to work with these and other exchanges. NOT ONE exchange has listed us 'just because we asked them to' or given us a timeframe or warning. Sorry that's not true - BigVern on my Skype gave me a timeframe of 'soon' < that's as close as we got. We don't want to false advertise that we're going to be anywhere 'soon' again, it caused a ton of friction, just know we are indeed always trying to communicate with a lot of important elements and people for this project including exchanges. If you have connections (all/any of you) with any of them, and are professional, yes - please approach them on our behalf to lend a hand with awareness and potential listing. We'll probably randomly pop up naturally anyway, as Wes likes to say, and I agree. Our efforts to speed the process up are kinda duds, but we're still trying. |

^ it's a very irrational market, that's just part of the ecosystem. In a few days/weeks the whole market viewpoint/pumpers/dumpers/variables will be different. I doubt we will have 'natural' markets, ever, for more than a short stint - 'unnatural/irrational' is the new 'normal'.
I think we are all impressed with DOGE's marketing, including our team, however please try not to hold us to their or other coins activities or ways of rolling out. We are going into 'extremely sensitive' mode and really want to make sure our assets and streamlined data delivery is perfect from here on out re the new site/brand tweak, and ideas on how else to grow. We've literally created a brand from scratch, everything from the keyword itself, to the shapes/colors/words/packaging of a mission - I actually think the whole community has done an absolutely fascinating job with taking the foundation of the brand and bringing awareness to it and adding value to it in 101 ways, so much so that we can't keep up.
Instead of just copy/pasting and distributing assets and links as they come in, we're now vetting, improving, and maturing as a whole. If we had the luxury of an already established brand and awareness out there that we could piggy back off of and get instant awareness for like a meme or other existing popular public gimmick/phrase/icon/fad/etc, perhaps we could achieve even more faster however I've been building organic brands from scratch for many many years and although this niche is tough/fast/unforgiving/competitive, I feel we're kicking absolute butt as far as long term thinking goes and growing our infrastructure/top level of the brand now before the mega boom we feel is coming in the near future.

Time.Shifts.Everything. Innovations are often implemented over time, getting to market and improving as marketshare grows and proves itself is not uncommon. Our innovations will surprise you all vs us teasing you with them. It's innovative in its own rights, and has a lot of room to grow/improve/nothing is set in stone forever. Frankly, I'd like to give the community here a bit more respect than to assume they've all invested in a shitcoin, and or you guarantee success if they jump all in to a 'new innovation coin'. Our first spike was bloated, it had no business being so high, wonder if people would still be this critical if that first spike didn't happen but it remained at its real price discovery range... Now with a official facebook, twitter, forum and a coming new homepage I´m just wondering if it might have played out it´s role in a good way I´m not sure what you guys think, i´m happy to continue if you feel that it contributes to anything, it´s only about 80 subscribers and so far about 150 visits per day in average. Let me know what you guys want and let´s continue forward to new heights for EAC! I find it useful! It's also good for SEO purposes, but if you don't want to run it as a news site I can turn EarthCoinTalk's news category over to you and you can publish the news from there. Let me know. Let’s make a list of good power words and start trying to really narrow it down to something with as few syllables and words as possible to get our message out. The current one is simply a touch too policitally sensitive to go broad with. * Prosperity – wealth – resources – health – revive – thrive – fund/foundation/help – revolution * Empowerment – control of destiny – decentralization – belief – sustainability – vision * Currency – transaction – units of value – adoption – investing – using – commerce – help * Foresight – planning – infrastructure – mastermind – architect – reformation – no flaw accounting * etc. etc. – once you have enough – it gets easy to start creating power phrases with as few words needed as possible. Get creative :: Currency UnBound – International Sustainability – Thrive.Prosper.Sustain – Transactions Made EZ – Reforming Accountability – Empowering Individuals & Communities…. . … .. . It’s actually quite the challenge with keeping in mind that we want to avoid political ties or use buzz words that have deeper meanings which might cause backlash. Are we having fun yet? Funny, when the price is low, we get no love, lot's of hate, lot's of uncertainty. When we get a spike, be it by design or naturally or a group of pumpers, and it stabilizes at a new high, we still get no love, just a temporary satisfaction and the high is gone as soon as the spike is over, back to hating on the dev team It's ok, we know you guys are scared when your position is in a loss and you're waiting, and then you're happy when you get your investment back and or make profit, and you express that in a rollercoaster of emo's. I used to do this heavily, then learned never let your emo's run your trades no matter what, even on the temporary highs... Ok - so - updates: ** I'm very happy to announce we have added CryptoZark to the internal team, he will be another voice for us, but more importantly, we're ripping our website apart and overhauling it with a beautiful cms and a few tricks up our sleeve to differentiate ourselves more, you might all be working with him to some capacity as he takes over the main website. ** We have a language specialist/English teacher that's going to improve all text on the site/when we deploy assets. ** We have a political specialist that is helping us with the brand and making it neutral. ** HAVING SAID THE ABOVE - WE'RE GOING TO BE REDOING THE LOGO TAGLINE, no more 'the people's currency' - please start dropping in your ideas for a good new tagline, Maybe also get this going at earthcointalk so we can grab the top 5 and poll them so everyone is happy with the new one. ** Although it's late, that big PR piece is coming this week - our PR guy is back now and we should start seeing big news sites picking this up as paid editorials, then hopefully it gets syndicated and we get a lot of good feedback (both on the brand, and maybe some further media attention). ** There are still 1001 unorganized assets out there so once we are in the process of overhauling the website, all the cool things you guys are building, the flowcharts, the wiki's, anything new that hasn't been added to the main site/op yet, will be added and a TODO list is going to form itself from this which we will ask you guys to help with. ** I'm working with one of the app developers on Skype and had to provide him with all the icons/sizes/etc. as he is making sure the ap will work in ios6 and ios7, which have a few differentiations and they had to be standardized. I've asked you to PM me with proof about your websites claims and or to remove it if it's fake. There is no metal company, real world coins as far as I'm concerned and this website claim is potentially making things worse for us. If it's fake, remove it immediately, if it's real please have the 'metal company' contact us otherwise this is all a bad look. The map is cool but disregarded by the rest of the site, fake pageview counter, and fake looking first post. Please address this before you add anything else to the map, especially lawyers. |

this coin has been quite a deception...
not enough buyers into it.
COMMUNITY should focus on VISIBILITY... getting people with money (INVESTORS) to BUY some EAC and hold it.
Thats the way to go.... get it out of the hands of BIG MINERS and into the hands of INVESTORS...

I do agree it needs to have some in the hands of investors rather than miners, but investors will only invest if there is something to invest in, which therein points to creating more uses/development for this coin. Such as wallets for different platforms, Gambling Games, companies who accept it as payment, more real world uses, etc. Maybe I don't understand, sometimes my mind is working in different directions. Sorry for that. The point what I don't understand is what is stopping you to get out there and talk to people. But then again, my mind is kind off weird about those things. I agree. It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to do small thing to promote EAC. Some easy things to do: Invite friends to 'like' the Earthcoin page on Facebook. Share the forum link to people interested in learning more about cryptos. Give away a few (doesn't have to be a lot) EAC to someone that is not yet involved with EAC. Use EAC for any kind of financial transaction that is possible to do with crypto. Donate to the charities set up for EAC. Etc. Anything out there to promote EAC helps. fixed and bolded. Dev team is doing this too, but dev team is dev'ing, rest of the team is wearing many hats, you guys have equal power to get others involved while we build infrastructure and more assets on top of trying to invite big money. |

Happy Sunday fam. * Despite efforts by the group, merchants, tons of signals for long term growth, the team is still being asked to stop what they do daily just to post stuff, even if there's nothing to post, just be here, hold hands, keep people calm for a year as this unfolds, everyday. Otherwise we're being looked at like we lost interest/don't care about our own coin. WOW - might be hard to see the project not flying daily but I'm kinda insulted, we put in x-xxhrs each a day on this most days and it sucks you guys can't see it all but to demand more and more from us = just adding to static and interruption, won't happen, let us work, yes up to a year We can't focus on the front end stuff as much as we'd like and unfortunately - as cool as it will be someday - we're not hybrid robots just yet. We need sleep, food, time for wives/gf's/life, it's Sunday... Doesn't seem to matter the frequency of posts from the team - it won't be enough and will create expectations for more. Just please know we're doing our best and working on things as diligently as possible (what's more important to you guys, daily updates despite there not being any, every dip we're here offering our titty and shoulder for support.... ... .. or letting us build the exchange, apps, merchant gateway tech, wallet improvements, 2 year rollout plan, PR, etc. - and posting updates as they really happen? Delays suck but we can't control people or unforeseens in tech or builds or timelines). * While we'd love to be on the forums more, it's a beautiful thing to see the transfer of confidence and emotional framework being adopted by at least half or more of you. No matter how many times we say it's a long term project, the shorts and daytraders and newcomers and some bigger investors won't take that for an answer and need to see pricing progress or constant reassurance. We can't do both and we'll indeed be phasing ourselves out slowly as the decentralization takes over and our tasks are only big/behind the scenes (kinda almost there now, just need to let this next batch of stuff happen naturally. Building out a dice-game template or setting up a new news feed site is hard enough but can be done rather quick - apps/exchanges/toplevel communication/gateway tech/R&D is not as forgiving or predictable - time and patience are necessary). * We're also really enjoying those taking a stance to educate others on how to be proactive. I REALLY wish more of you would stop PM'ing asking for reassurance but go create that reassurance, be productive and proactive vs reporting and asking/demanding stuff to happen because you have skin in the game. If we don't post for a day it doesn't mean anything but that - it's Saturday/Sunday, or there's nothing to report/you guys are the most interactive and up to date bunch I've had the pleasure to be a part of - You're empowering and we often find things out from YOU, as much as you think we're orchestrating everything there are many elements that are organic and simply bubbling out of the dot com world due to interest and enthusiasm in the brand. We don't make the brand, everyone does, we launched it/guide it/drip growth organically as talent and resources allow/until we're irrelevant from most angles as it's mostly in the communities hands and fully organic (we still have a lot to do but it's bigger behind the scenes and sensitive so you'll see it unfold when programmes are naturally complete). * Thank you! We are going to be upgrading the site and will have a full FAQ section that does indeed address a lot of the questions that keep popping up. It's our fault for not having this yet we apologize however it's coming. * Our PR outreach is coming back today for final review/approval, I will guesstimate that the drip of PR is going to start tomorrow and last until Monday/Tuesday. You will learn a lot about the team and our vision/deep thoughts about this world and if all goes well this PR should turn some heads and call on for more interviews/press so we're excited. * The merchant stuff is going well and our main Dev is now looking at ways to improve the wallet, both visually and re functionality (we have some cool ideas ), wish I could speak for the app dev's but I can't they are close. Could have been released twice by now but we keep finding ways to improve it so it makes sense to hold off until it's done right - we may well have both apps launch pretty close together as these guys are kinda building in tandem. * More PR - Now that we have some great merchants, and a new system being put into place to improve it some more, and coinpayments products/stores, we would welcome more PR and or anyone that wants to help with outreach please let us know who/how you can help get PR out.
