682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just in! $16000 in PH on: December 07, 2017, 04:20:09 PM
The title says it all. We are now at $16156.02 here in the Philippines and I think we're the one who hit it first more than any other country(correct me if i'm wrong).
i have not checked the price of other countries for a long time now but Indian prices have always been much higher than normal. additionally some African countries started to have much higher prices recently also.
currently it is $16,500 in Zebpay and that is the lowest price.

Quote
$20k is still possible this year.

i am afraid it is. and it is not a good sign in my opinion. we may be in a bubble now. and a bubble burst is never good.
$16500 price is astonishing, we're not in bubble(yet). we're finally going mainstream.  Wink  there will be a correction soon. on golix bitcoin is trading at much higher rate, $22k per bitcoin!!
683  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: December 07, 2017, 10:30:46 AM
I have tried many casino to hunt jackpot ( cryptogames, fortunejack, luckygames ) and many more but never hit that jackpot until now. May be it because i have no luck there. To hit jackpot need more luck and more time to try and i dont have that. I hope sometime i'll hit jackpot and can edit this post  Grin Grin.
Lol i have won small jackpot many times on fortunejack(ranging from 0.005 BTC to 0.15 BTC). try playing fortunewheel and keno game(whenever there's good amount of jackpot), you can hit the jackpot without spending a lot.  Wink
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: December 07, 2017, 10:14:03 AM
Yes, I also think that way. Just imagine, if 1 BTC = 11169.80 US Dollar. Is there anybody who will bet? I myself would only bet 0.002 BTC only.
BTC is almost $15k now and it's bit expensive to gamble with. one could still gamble with BTC, but tx fees are high(~$7 for each transaction). i'm using ETH and LTC for gambling, would definitely switch back to BTC once fees are lower.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: December 07, 2017, 09:46:03 AM
One big win in gambling and it will open many doors for you in real life as with that money you can invest in real business from where you can generate regular revenue but no one knows when the day will come when we will make massive money in a single day by hitting a jackpot and if it happens with me someday then I won't gamble anymore and be happy with my winnings.
Yeah, one big win is what everyone looking for. not everyone is lucky though to win big in gambling, only few people are. Roll Eyes if i win big, i'll be investing half of my money in real estate or buy houses.
686  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 07, 2017, 09:04:55 AM
is there any official announcement for these recent bitcoin forks? I checked the previous 2 pages and I didn't see anyone talking about them.

these days it seems like there are going to be a lot of forks. at least 5 forks are scheduled for December starting with 15th of Dec! and it would be great if we  could get these coins for the balance that we keep on freebitco.in otherwise we would have to keep withdrawing before the snapshot is taken and deposit back.
and if I am not mistaken at least 1 snapshot was taken after bitcoin gold one. it was called "bitcoin Liza". all I know is that Yobit credited their users' accounts with the tokens which they are trading.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2257164.msg22888636#msg22888636
Freebitco.in will support/allow withdrawal of forks , if they have a working wallet and blockchain.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Withdraw Bitcoin on: December 06, 2017, 04:18:58 PM
How do we withdraw btc.can we use paypal?
Stop using paypal. Tongue you can sell your bitcoins on exchanges and directly withdraw usd/eur to your bank account or use payza->sell bitcoin -> withdraw.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade altcoins! Non listed on: December 06, 2017, 03:28:30 PM
Hey All,
Thanks in advance.
I need to ask a question, maybe it is a stupid one.
So bear with me.
Can anyone here advise what sites are good for getting information on super small penny coins stuff that is not mainstream and is on exchanges like etherdelta etc.
Can anyone tell me who to follow or read to trade these very small coins?
Thanks in advance.

Why do you want to trade/buy altcoins that have little to no volume? people usually trade/buy altcoins that have huge volume and potential to increase in value in future. stick with top 30 or 50 altcoins.  Wink
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 'Buy and Hold' the Best Bitcoin Investment Strategy? on: December 06, 2017, 03:16:07 PM
Is 'Buy and Hold' the Best Bitcoin Investment Strategy?
Yes, it is. buy and hold strategy worked for me. although it might not work for you or anyone else who buys now. it would be better if you bought altcoins as well bitcoin, this way you'd be safer and diversified.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how safe is bitcoin to use with phone on: December 06, 2017, 02:52:41 PM
Mycelium is the best mobile wallet i've used (and still using), it's secure and has easy interference, adjustable fees, hardware wallet support.
691  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Can a Bitcoin Hardware Wallet Be Compromised? on: December 05, 2017, 03:47:19 PM
Both nano s and trezor are good. i currently own trezor, i have ordered nano s(i'll split my coins and keep on both).

yes, it's absolutely possible for hardware wallet to be compromised. there's more information in below links on how to verify if your hardware wallet has been loaded with good or bad firmware, how to identify etc..
https://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-faq/threats.html#reflashing-the-trezor-with-evil-firmware
https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005321449-How-to-verify-the-security-integrity-of-my-Nano-S-

If possible directly buy from trezor or nano s.  Smiley
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a prize in Freebitco.in Lottery? If yes, how much? on: December 05, 2017, 11:40:43 AM
I don't spend anything in lottery, but I get tickets from free rolls and multiply btc game. Never won any prize, although I had more than 500k tickets some weeks.
I don't spend on tickets either, in free time i just get tickets by solving few captchas(i'll deposit a small amount of btc to turn off the captcha in few days).  Wink

if it is true, good;

i use imacros on vps, every hours it automatic earn free satoshii with tickets;

you not?
It is true, some people have posted screenshot(check this thread or search it on google). if i win lottery someday i'll post it as well.
693  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any cryptocurrency WhatsApp chat group?? on: December 05, 2017, 11:02:23 AM
Thanks guys..

Yes I do have telegram too but I am unable to find any groups.. how to find telegram groups?? I don't care if it's country specific unless it's other than English chat group.
Just google the name(ex: waves telegram) of your favorite cryptocurrencies to join the particular crypto group or visit the official site there should be a link to telegram group.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 05, 2017, 10:21:49 AM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.
Nope. if i owned any property/house, i wouldn't sell it for bitcoins. i would find other ways to make bitcoin instead.

I think no one will do that. Selling your house for investment in BTC likely seems to appear a good question.
Surprisingly a family has sold their house and all the other personal stuffs for bitcoin.

695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 50% correction on BTC possible? on: December 05, 2017, 09:28:26 AM
This is bitcoin, everything is possible! although a 50% drop in price( $6k a bitcoin) is unlikely. i think price will go down to $8k-8.5k, then continue going up!

op move this thread to speculation.

696  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: December 04, 2017, 11:44:52 AM
Also it would be nice if you could allow users to withdraw less than 82$, you can always add fee payed by users for withdrawals which are under 0.01BTC.

Good news for us, they have just lowered the minimum withdraw to 0.002btc or equivalent in other coins. Good news to the affiliate program as well because the minimum cash out is also lowered to 0.02 btc. Thanks for fortunejack for listening user's feedback/suggestion. Hope these changes will bring your old players (who left because of the high minimum withdraw) back to play at Fortunejack.
I'm happy it has been lowered, now i can withdraw the 40 mBTC that i have in my affiliate account. Grin thank you fj for lowering the minimums.

Me too, I requested for withdrawal of my affiliate earning few hours ago but it is still pending now. Anyone knows how long it will be processed because it is my first time requesting withdrawal with the new affiliate program? Hope it wont take too long time, I'll wait patiently Smiley

usually it takes 1 day to approve the affiliate payment
Ah, okay. thanks for the info. it would be nice if affiliate income were to be transferred automatically(whenever minimum threshold has been reached) to FJ account(like it used to be earlier). anyways i can wait for a day.  Smiley
697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to exchange btc for fiat on exchanges when trading? on: December 04, 2017, 09:34:39 AM
What's the best way to exchange btc for fiat on exchanges for trading purposes? And which exchanges do that?
Excluding local bitcoins. Thanks.

Where do you live? i'm currently using kraken to buy/sell, if you're in the US then use gemini or coinbase. here's(https://bitcoin.org/en/exchanges) the full list of exchanges.
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tracking transactions on: December 04, 2017, 01:11:19 AM
Hello everyone - my first post here  Grin

How does everyone rack their trades?  I'm not only asking for tax reasons, but also to get a general idea of any profit or loss.

I'd really like to find a website that will let me enter my trades, as well as mining information, and could refresh prices from online sources.

Any tips for a noob?
I'm currently using blockfolio(android app) to record all my trades, view portfolio and keep track of bitcoin and altcoins prices. there are so many apps and sites, but blockfolio is best one out there. give it a try. for mining information, you could try (cryptfolio.com).
