Panic may be exaggerated, but you are easily disturbed if there are no updates. Tachain may publish new articles every now and then, but they have little to do with their own project. I would like to have at least bi weekly project updates |

The last few days have been very good for the cryptocurrencies. This could help the Onam ICO, because if the market is more optimistic, then it is easier to find new investors. I think the softcap will be reached this week
I really hope the softcap will be reached soon and I am confident they can do it. It would be a shame when such a promising project doesn't reach its targets. I'm also very confident that they reach the softcap soon, or maybe they got it already. One of the Admins in Telegram told me that some buy-orders are not recorded in the progress bar because of the KYC procedure. If I am not mistaken and from what I understand from the admins they are constantly talking to investors. The market is on the verge of recovery so we could see some positives soon. Yea, the market recovery is really looking pretty nice and i'm yet to know about the outcome of the SEC meeting, so i guess the meeting ended on a positive note because the market looks good, i just hope that things will keep moving up on a stable and healthy fashion, putting a smile on the faces of investors and the community |

I'm really happy that we're seeing people interested in more advanced smart chain platforms, i think smart chains and platforms are really what will drive crypto much further, basic crypto is an interesting replacement for FIAT but smart chains take things so much further
TBH I am feeling very enthusiastic about the future of the blockchain as it currently boasts of a lot of great features that makes it attractive and top of the list currently is smart chains and multichains, sharding and the likes helping to make transaction speed faster and safer to use I think the team is in a better position now especially after the addition of the IBM advisor. I think they are talking to the right people? especially that this requires an experience that has to do with large scale operations. Yea, its a large scale project that has the capability of changing the internet as we know it and they ought to get the best hands in the industry if they tend to conquer, cova has an exceptional concept that will fix a critical issue and i'm so happy that such concept is coming from the blockchain industry and not the traditional which will further buttress the point on the need to embrace cryptocurrency |

I have read enough about this project and i can see that they have a lot of amazon features planned out for the project which will be very beneficial to everyone. Smart usage policy from cova is the future.
One thing that intrigues me about COVA is their community development approach, they do more of physical meetings which is quite a unique way to get closer to the community and make them believe in the process that they tend to offer, also it instills confidence because they are not hiding behind the curtains or focusing on virtual process, unlike the norm |

Updates from Tachain team is coming very less now a days, I can imagine there will be less things to announce every week or month. But during the ICON I expect project team to be more active. I always want to think that the team is busy with development hence their delays in giving out updates on this thread but they sure have proven to be active on twitter and telegram. Never been on their telegram but I heard that they are pretty active on their didcord channel and are even doing a giveaway there. That's true, but what is the benefit of the activity on Discord? We need news about the project progress, the Android app and if they started the business with the taxis in Manila, as they planned. Absolutely, i don't see the need to create multiple channels when in fact the available ones are yet to be fully utilized, discord may have its purpose but a lot of individuals in the community don't visit or use the channel effectively, so they should focus more on the ones that will generate much more effect when it comes to marketing |

Now I have looked at the homepage so many times, but that Onam has so low fees, I notice only now. Only 0.05%, that's really low. Hopefully this is not just about winning customers in the beginning, but staying that low for longer
Yeah. Low fees. But i saw that their listing fee is high. I guess it is a method of attracting only the big boys to their exchanges. I would really like to know how high their listing fees actually are. Does anyone have a concrete number or a statement from one of the team? Or is it pure speculation that the fees for listing new tokens will be high? Not quite sure about the listing fee but i believe it will be on a considerate level but its funny how some individuals see an exchange with low listing fee, they consider such as a poor exchange or something or one with low value but the fact still remains that the fee need not to be exorbitant, seriously the fees are really ridiculously high |

As a big fan of innovation, I am particularly impressed by the fact that there will be a new internet protocol that actually cares about users and gives them absolute control.
The internet is a scary place at the moment and the fact is, we don't own our data, once we click a button, it takes luck to be on the safe side, so i think this is a pretty much value added project that is really needed and the security they tend to put in place seems to be a very much high end security process which will create room for the efficient utilization of the internet |

Yeah actually market seems really dull at this moment and trading is really ruining life with continues to make profit hard and harder! At this stage trying to taste luck with Gambling seems promising! Yeah, it's been a tough year. I don't feel particularly bullish at the moment about the markets. However, it is still nice to see new projects being developed even during this bear phase. It's a testament to blockchain technology because there are obviously people out there that aren't bothered about the price and they just want to use the tech which is good news for adoption. Looks like everyone lost confidence in Cryptomarket now. No one is talking about bull market, ETH going to 1000 or so. Well, a bull market won't happen just overnight. I hope we will see better times next year but it takes time to see some steady growth and new money coming into the market. Absolutely, just because ETH reached $1,000 before does not mean it will hit that level again. I might not be feeling bullish right now but that doesn't mean I have completely written off cryptocurrencies. I just think it will take a bit longer than originally thought to grow back to all-time highs. I really think in the next 12-18 months we will see global stock markets crash and we could see another recession. Look at markets now the FTSE is down over 10%, the S&P 500 also fell 10%. In 2008 (the last recession) markets fell 35% in The US, this caused massive banks and businesses to close. I think we are at the start of something bad for stock markets. But this could be good news for crypto, in bear markets investors love an alternative investment. Crypto at the moment is the alt investment with the biggest potential, so I wonder if we could see a lot of money bleed from stock markets and then enter the crypto markets. It's going to be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of years. Its quite an unpredictable situation at the moment but the fact is, things are going in the right direction, especially with the globe coming to terms with the blockchain industry as of before, more and more people are coming in and more brand are seeking means to utilize the technology that comes with it, so i see things turning around pretty fast |

I think its nice when ICO's accept smaller investment for those kind of investors that are just looking to grab the "too the moon" explosive launches and don't worry as much to invest hundreds or thousands in a signle investment for longterm growth, no ones interested in stable slow growth it seems
Yea, it will accommodate more individuals in the community than the opposite, no project wants to get stuck in a snail race to reach the required amount needed for the growth of their brand and like i stated earlier, its a welcome development and i do hope to see them achieve their aim and also create a robust platform for the community |

I remember I once complained about the high minimum investment on Onam ICO. Now you can get in Onam token sale with $50.
Ya it's much more accessible now for people that only want to risk a small amount, I tend to use small 50$ or 20$ investments for project's i'm warry of as it's a good way to oget in early if the tokens end up going to the moon after launch or after a year, and its minimal risk to me Most of the ICO accept 0.1 ETH investment which is equal to approx 20 USD now. Now Onam will also accept minimum investment. Many small investors will be able to participate now. Well is good to create avenues that will be able to accommodate both the rich and the poor in terms of funding, i now what's like to see a good project and yet you don't have the finance to invest and become part of the community, the price is a good one and i believe that the community will properly make use of such opportunity |

Does this mean, Tachain going to start own exchange? Or will only provide Fiat to Tachain tokens exchange for car ride?
I just looked around on the Tachain homepage, there is now some new information. And it looks like they really want to build an Exchange that will allow more and more cryptocurrencies to be tradable over time. I hope they do not take over, they really have big plans i dont think they want to build their own exchange it will be a very complex system i advise they focus on the task at hand Don't see any reason they would need to, they don't need to reinvent the wheel to allow for crypto people to get a crypto ride and fiat people to get a fiat ride, but advertisers would still pay by purchasing the tokens, and users/viewers would still get paid in crypto regardless. Why they will start their new exchange? I don't think this is a their business. I mean they will do it but not now. Might be after sometime. The Tachain project consist of three areas, transportal, AdNet and TMARQ. The exchange TMARQ is the last of the three areas. But I think it is necessary, because not all users of Tachain are familar with cryptocurrencies, taxi drivers for example. They can change Tachain token in any other currency within the app. That's a lot of work in the pipeline and i hope to see all of them gradually come to fruition, that's the major reason why they need to be up and doing, using the taxi is actually an opportunity to bring the globe into the blockchain industry, a factor that other blockchain brands should emulate to help in the quest of promoting the industry |

I dunno if bigger than any brand i can come up with but i definitly think that smart p2p gambling like this has a definite niche it can fullfill and considering how big the gambling world is even a small portion of that has some great opportunities, i hope the team can develop a nice secure niche market and lock it down well to gather attention
Gambling is a big market and full of risks, from risks of the platform not secured to risk of loosing out all of your stakes in a blink of an eye, but then again, have we consider the trust potential users could give the platform. Who are the team behind the project? Users will feel secured knowing of them It’s a big boy market, gambling. There’s risk for everyone though. But since we are goin to be playing virtually, with both parties in different locations, there’s the need for security. How does Orbit team promise to assure users of the platform they have an equal opportunity to win? For me that’s what matters. I don't really see it as a big boy kinda thing because it accommodates all, the funny thing is, individuals that are low income earners seems to be the highest patronizing gambling in terms of statistics because they are motivated by that desire to become rich and sometimes greed, unlike the big boys that are already financially stable and gamble for fun |

I don't think its so important to hit a softcap during the presale we're not even talking about the projects main sale, we're so early in the entire ICO process they have lots of time to make up money and they've said many times that they are determined to move forward and get the entire exchange up and running
Yea. there's still time to get the needed funds but the confidence of the team surprises me a lot, like they are really sure that they will get the needed fund, when you talk to them, they have something good to offer as a response, which is good for them and will help attract investors into their brand, though it may take sometime but success comes with determination |

I checked it and it's really amazing. Sooner or later we all know that blockchain will really going to change the future I know tachain will going to be part of it. The blockchain has a great prospect in various fields and I think what is lacking at this point of time is usability. Other than that I think adoption is increasing daily despite the fud going around and the low market. Adoption of Blockchain technology is growing. We see different projects in new fields daily. Hopefully TAChain would do that with Transportation and advertising. i believe they still have zero competition, and even if they did there's more than enough market for multiple companies. You are right, in advertising, there is space for lots of different companies, but you are wrong about the 'zero competition' statement. Just because other companies aren't doing the exact same thing as Tachain does not mean they do not have competitors. There are hundreds of advertising networks and thousands of ad agencies. Granted there aren't many on the blockchain and the 'taxi' market is a niche one, but just because they have implemented blockchain tech it does not mean they do not need to compete against conventional practices. I think he/she meant the zero competition statement for the combination of transportal and advertising. As far as I know, there is not competitor combining these two areas. Tachain is the first project to combine both on the blockchain with cryptocurrency incentives and run an integrated exchange. Because they are trying to do so many things I wouldn't say they really have that much of a niche and they will actually have lots more competitors because of how many different industries they are trying to cover. Lyft/Uber basically own the self-employed driver service market, there are hundreds of established ad companies that turn over billions, there are hundreds of blockchain based ad networks that probably advertise in taxis/public transport already and cover lots of other different areas (mobile apps, social media, etc.), and there are thousands of cryptocurrencies that could be used as incentives. I get that all of Tachain's ideas and features will come together as one and it could be an amazing ecosystem if it is adopted by enough users to be a profitable business, but they need to persuade people to move away from companies that already dominate the industries they want to enter, so they can grow their own user base. They need to stand out, they need to secure big partnerships, all of this costs a lot of money. I get that startups are always risky but even more so when entering into huge industries with little presence. Tachain have so much they need to do, I personally think they could really struggle and they need to get as close to their hardcap as possible if they really want to try and pull this off. That's quite a detailed reply and i remember stating something about the brand been in 2 different highly competitive niche which will obviously require more work to do, they need much more to get out there and bring clients into their brand, despite the fact that's based in the blockchain industry, the industry is still strange to many, so it will take a lot of conviction |
