6801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 25, 2018, 03:53:59 PM

Its just a change of Agent which is Rich Paul and that doesnt mean anything.
Besides, Anthony Davis already made up his mind to win a championship at New Orleans. He is that kind of player who have his own goal and do not want to rely to anybody else which is a good thing to him.

His contract expires in two years and he got a player option at 2020-2021 for player option.
Lakers might have already build a better team before that too.
I dont think he can do it in New Orleans for me especially with the players around him. He is the only all star on the team and Rondo is now on the Lakers. When LeBron is on Cavs, yeah he carried his team to Finals but with the help of Love and others. The Pelicans roster is worse compare to Cavs roster last season. There is no way that Davis can win a championship himself

At the end of his contract, he can pick the team he wants. Lakers will be a good choice since LeBron is still there at that time. It will be a good duo in my opinion.

I just do not like it when they are putting toO much power in one team just for the purpose of a championship.
Still I want a balanced NBA just so it would be unpredictable to see who the champion will be.

This is not just for my own kind of purpose.
We are seeing no bets anymore since the odds are always higher with the West and I didnt even profit much from last year.
They want some handicap and who would agree with that?

Although I have teams that I want to win, the goal is to make every game as fun as possible.
6802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MANY EXCHANGES on: September 25, 2018, 01:22:51 PM
I think the many exchanges we have is in the right direction. The world of cryptocurrency is growing or advancing almost everyday as new projects are emerging through the ever popular blockchain technology.  At the moment, there are many coins that are competing on the market, we need more exchanges to ensure that there is a fair competition on the market so the exchanges can provide the best of services for the numerous crypto enthusiasts.

It had its good side and also the bad sides.
If there are too many exchanges then it will be difficult to monitor all of them.

As we can see there have been a lot of reports of exchanges being hacked. There is a catch though. It needs to be investigated to ensure that they are telling the truth.
I still would prefer a decentralized exchange, but none have much volume by now. Not much supports it anymore.

I'm not sure if he can pursue that goal of taking the championship with New Orleans.

That team is still lack of a powerhouse and I don't follow that team since then. If he's that type of player that wants to reach his own goal, he might realize in the future that he needs some back up from powerhouses that he is willing to choose from the league's top choice.

Same as Lebron. That is how he thinks when he came to the NBA. Also the same when he was at Cavs without any help but he had a goal. Now look at where he is now. He is the best player in the NBA.

I do think we need players like this now. Some of them are just looking for money and you cannot see much entertainment with that anymore. But to those who are in pursuit for the Championship are the most fun to watch.

To that person who wants to be in the ignore list. No worries I already did it. Your 20 years of looking thru the NBA made you to something like that.
Thanks though for reminding me that there is an ignore button.
6804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 24, 2018, 11:07:27 PM
~snip~

Butler is looking for one those three things :

  • Go to a big market team
  • Choose a contending team
  • Get to a team which can offer him max contract

Bucks is neither one of those and in my opinion an awful fit, Jimmy ain't no sharpshooter like Middleton and teams, especially Bucks, need some sort of spacing for Giannis to be able to operate inside (Bledsoe is also not a good three-point shooter).

Then who is good in your opinion.
You keep telling negative points about all our posts here.
So what is the best option for you?

Who will fit in to every team? Who will win the NBA?
You are already sure about the West winning it. What team are you betting for?

Where do you get your basis of all of this kind of stuff you are blathering about?
Maybe we could learn from it.
6805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why comparing cryptocurrency prices is wrong? on: September 24, 2018, 09:26:07 PM
I think at  500$, I should invest in altcoin with great potential top 1 on coinmarketcap. Because every electronic currency goes up from a very low price below $ 1$ is normal

There is one who made the mistake already of not reading the whole post or the reason behind it.

Okay, let us say you bought the cheap coin for a dollar and you got 500 of it by now.
Do you really think it got the potential to go up? It is the same risk as making to every crypto currency. There is not much of a difference.

The real problem is people here who are in a rush to make big profit in a short span of time. I say they want it short with an exaggerated face.

This needs to stop. Bitcoin didnt make it up in just days. It went thru a lot of downfalls.
6806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking is the Real Issue of Crypto currency on: September 24, 2018, 07:27:35 PM
Tech Bureau Corp. is reported to have been hacked by irresponsible parties and suffered substantial losses, is the exchange no longer safe? Is it true that they are only making it up because they want to control investors' assets ?

This sounds like a conspiracy to investors

It's possible that it could be just an inside job. I think that is what you meant about your post.

I have that same idea when I saw exchanges being hacked month after month. Small one or big ones. Tried to go deeper if it is real but when the news is from another country it is hard to get real information. Mostly they are just gossips or fake news.

So you will just have to rely with your instinct or let the authority in their country do their job. Wait for the final news and there you go, an answer to your question.

We cannot just assume that they did it to themselves to control the market, it could be that the exchange is really hacked due to low security.
6807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 24, 2018, 05:42:23 PM
They say EOS is the better version of ETH. I mean that is how they define it from its features.
But it aint over for ETH. It is still more convenient to use it specially to the old ones in the crypto industry who have been used to its kind of service. Me? I better stay with it too.

If you are really in doubt with ETH then for your choice. Hesitation will just lead you to regret.
You could buy both if you have capital for it.

6809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just wondering how much you've earned from cryptocurrenices? -80% for me on: September 23, 2018, 08:10:59 PM
Thats the risk you took before you got in this.
Why are you crying now?
You should have thought about it from the very start before jumping in.

If you are in regret by now then dont.
If it is just because of speculation out there into why you are so down then stop and look again.

This is a new era of the human world. Internet is used mostly and crypto currency is part of that. I am sure as hell that Ethereum is crypro right? Grin
6810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fighting your own FOMO on: September 23, 2018, 06:11:00 PM
Wow meditation.
I dont really understand much of that kind of peaceful sitting and just thinking about nothing.

Okay. So I do believe I have controlled it already.
I have a different kind of way to think by now. I learned to go against the flow of everyone.
I am not saying I am a pessismist but this is the crypto world. In its market there is no accuracy to every speculation theh say.

So, I better get my own ideas and more often I argue with another predictiom which for me is healthy.
6811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what a great month on: September 23, 2018, 03:42:52 PM
And you are talking about Ethereum but did not mention it.

You are right but it aint getting to where I want it yet, so I will wait for more time.
Even with Buterin's negative specualation about the market it seems like it cannot be stopped. The trust of the people have been polished and now we are seeing it thru the value of crypto currencies.
6812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 23, 2018, 01:52:11 PM
Jimmy Butler is acting strange so definitely, Minnesota Timberwolves must get rid of this player right away. Even he is good, Twolves must understand that there is no reason for them to keep this guy as it might just result in unual plays.
If a player wants out, management should not hesitate to release him as this will not bear good output on the team's performance. In Butler's case, front office should make a good deal with other teams interested of his service, get young player with potential and let other teams contend Butler's attitude problem.
Yeah right, management should take players not a liable but a part of the system, if someone who's not adjusting they should kick him out and trade it with someone who's willing to take the part and fill up the position, there's a lots of potential newcomers that they can train and develop good skills.

It think Butler's issues are from his coach.
This guy is like going thru all of the teams in the NBA looking for the appropriate one that suits him.
I guess it is a problem that he had been carrying from the start. It aint the team but him.
He had good team mates and actually they are the right one for his kind of game.

But as I told it was his own issues. Maybe he should make some real statement about why he does this.
As a professional who are fishing for a good contract, I don't think he would openly share his issues on the coach or the team, or whatever
the problem he is dealing right now. Attitude is also one of the most important factors in the NBA and they need to have a good attitude, look at Iverson, he is one of the best player in the NBA but I think he has an attitude problem that's why his career ended early.

Could be. But Iverson didnt dhare that too.
Well, I guess they have something on their contract that stops them from doing it. If breached then they will pay a large amount of money.

I just remembered one video that I watched.
Even small reactions of players have fines. Yeah like doing something with your hand even if it doesnt mean anything.

They are getting stricter now when it comes to players attitude when they are on the basketball floor.
One bad fight could lead to tens of thousands of dollars.
6813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: September 23, 2018, 08:21:18 AM
the way I see it is that bitcoin already has enough anonymity.  that that is more than enough. you say every transaction is public but even if I show you my address and transaction you still wouldn't be able to know who I am.
and this level of anonymity can even be considered a good thing if you ask me. if bitcoin was fully anonymous we may have had a lot more FUD and attacks against bitcoin. with this small level of anonymity they are still FUDing it and say it is being used for illegal activities when it is not, if there were more then they would have attacked it even more.

True. This the answer to your question.

Look there is not much information in the blockchain but just an Address. You still do not know who the guy is. Maybe if he did sign a message with his information then you can track him easily but not much does that. They still prefer to be hidden.

Exchanges though like Coinbase provides knows some people who uses address for they need to sign up with full info. But there is still a law of privacy so you cannot just get it from them.

Regarding the anonimity. It is already enough to stay private.

6815  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin the answer to developing countries currency issues on: September 22, 2018, 02:41:13 PM
These needs a deep analysis than just applying it because of their economy breakdown or the rush need for a currency.
It aint that easy.

Yes it may be the answer to their problem but it could also be the worse disaster they will ever face.
With the price volatility it can be hoarding that will happen or could be a big dump that will affect mostly to their economy.
6816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 22, 2018, 01:34:07 PM
It is always really difficult to trade a player who wants out. Other teams know that you are trying to trade that player and they do not offer a great players in return, remember when celtics wanted kyrie ?

They gave an injured defensive liability player with a player whose only upside is its defense on the system they were playing. Look at kawhi, derozan is an amazing player but spurs lost its best player who was a top three player at his prime with the best wing defender at green and only got one derozan with some sidekick with him. When a player wants out, its really close to impossible to get a fair trade deal.

Truth.
It is like a forced trade.
If I am the other team who wants Kawhi I would really give them a hard time too. Since it is Kawhi who wants out then they have not much of an option. Other teams would give them small time players too so maybe it is the best that was offered to them. And that sas DeRozan.
For me Spurs have a good trade there. Not the best though.
Problem is there is not much of a choice.
6817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Epic Journey of BTC on: September 22, 2018, 09:55:13 AM
So it created a drawing of a mountain.  Grin
This aint over yet.
Too many bitcoin supporters are rushing the price increase and that is why they are easily being played by whales.
Just a little speculation of a known guy and suddenly they panic.

Let us see what will happen in December of this year.
6818  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 21, 2018, 11:34:19 PM
Yeah right.
And a lot of government agencies will take him and then what!?

Say goodbye to crypto currencies which gives you freedom.
Of course he will not risk his life and just give everything he knew on how to do it.

As if he was a martyr that will sacrifice himself for it.

I would not worry about that. Instead get moving and spread ths good news about bitcoin. That will help a lot.
6819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental vs Technical? on: September 21, 2018, 09:36:59 PM
I read back and forth to every comment and I still did not understand.

Is this trading or just investing?

You are talking about shares and all and I dont think that is trading.
If that is the case then you really need to go with the fundamentals since there is none yet for you to trade right?

But if it is really trading then I would rather go to technicalities.
It doesnt mean much about projects anymore. They do not even look at what the project is all about now.
6820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do traders pay income taxes? on: September 21, 2018, 08:27:27 PM
Well the trading platform is already taking something from you every time you make an order (buy or sell).

After that, it is their problem to pay the taxes. They do make a lot of money out of it so I think it wont be a problem for you.
The thing you should be thinking about is how are you going out with that profit that you made.
Remember, when a lot of money is getting out from the crypto world it is being questioned. Just do not use banks to avoid this.
