Damn you hahay, 3 whole points ahead of the whole pack. I picked quite a lot of nice ones but all 1.5 points and such a shame Sociedad couldn't find a way to win so I got 0 instead of 3 (picked 2-1). Late now so I have to go to bed and wake up with a nice surprise:P

I picked Barca to win by 2 goals just because.
but Barca is postponed, so i will skip it for this weekend bet
did not saw the new termin for this match, when it is scheduled, if we are speaking regarding first round Barcelona and Elche match

Like I said, just because. I've got no reason to change my pick whatever the first game. First friendly looked good shape everywhere to be fair!

To convert that into a percentage which many prefer just divide 1 by the number and times by 100.   So 1.4 on Novak Djokovic would equate to 71.4% which is pretty high but not the worst odds I've seen regular for some popular teams, people like Lewis Hamilton etc.   As Djokovic is over 30 and injuries can happen I would not have taken that bet personally and as said the returns start to be less attractive.
I do look for odds over 2 but its tending towards underdog bet at that point and you cant exactly expect to win, it would be quite arrogant to presume the crowd is always wrong but it does happen.

1.4 is probably the lowest I would take for a favorite, except perhaps if I am almost 90% certain my team or selection would win, in which case I would go for as low as 1.2x, but even so, rarely. All my favorite bets are around 1.5x and the funny thing is once it goes to 1.6 I don't feel like taking it then I go for 2x. I think a lot of people feel 1.6 means guaranteed but I think at that stage, you WANT 2x to get real value because they will probably lose 50/50 of those odds.
6863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 13, 2020, 10:09:53 AM
If anyone wants to still join it's not too late as you've only missed 4 games and I only got 2 points total from them. I think even if you join now you might still get some points from the games already played as you get 15 'automatic' deferred scores during the season if you miss a game which they pick the favourite score on average for you. If you've made your picks in another league and you join ours I think they get carried over as well. Not 100% but maybe someone can check. We have 48 users so far so it would be nice to try get it to 50.

as far as I remember winners in previous season gathered 400+ points, so these 5.5 at the top of the table means nothing. it's a long season and a lot of points is there. 48 users are very respectable even if you hope in 21/22 season to reach 50.

After just a few matches, we have some two constant, Lids will be very popular to watch and Fulham going to the bottom of the table and they are sure to relegation. it is unbelievable that they have entered in PL.

Most of us ended up getting 1 point for the Liverpool game (who saw THAT coming) and then 1.5 for a close score. I'm a bit upset with myself I didn't get at least 1 exact one, but we go again today.

Regarding the automatic scores (when you forget), I think it works for all the pools. I remember playing in 2 pools last season on the same account and they got picked auto in all the pools. But yeah, maybe someone can confirm this.

Fulham were really bad I agree, that's the lottery of the Championship playoff you sometimes get shit.
6864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Ethereum is Booming: Closing in on $1 Billion in Value on: September 13, 2020, 09:07:46 AM
Bitcoin holders continue to move the value of their digital gold onto the Ethereum blockchain,
No they're not! Bitcoin holders haven't moved a single satoshi. Only native/greedy people give up control over their own private keys for some empty promise, but those aren't holders.

Can you spam this BS somewhere else?

The problem I see here now is that everyone in Defi is looking everywhere in the world for more people and more money, they know the crypto universe's real money all lies in Bitcoin and they're convincing Bitcoiners to start parting with their money, by saying hey guys, look, even the Bitcoin holders are doing it, so why not you? Holders don't give a damn about this temporary Defi scam.

@panjul thanks for that. Yeah I rarely chat as it gets too fast for me to read (I have reading dyslexia sometimes).

That's totally crazy. $300 and $750 tips. Multiplied by 20 is about $6000 in tips just rained. What an unfortunate thing I'm never ever around for these big whale tips, seems to always be in US timezones when We're all asleep in Asia!

Nice going though, see a lot of familiar names.
6866  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Using wallet on iPhone on: September 12, 2020, 04:06:18 PM
Personally, I suggest the Coinomi app, it is easy to use, even though this isn't a full open-source Bitcoin wallet app but at least you have full control over your key.

Coinomi is a very bad app to suggest, for exactly the reasons everyone is saying above. Trust. If they're not fully open source, why should you trust them? Even if they give you your keys, what's to say there isn't something hidden in the code that exposes your key somehow? It's got to be fully open source. Electrum, for example. Even Bitamp (web wallet) I'd trust more!
6867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: European Crypto Exchange Hacked For 5 million dollars 😱😰😢😢 on: September 12, 2020, 11:03:51 AM
That is some heavy shit to be keeping on your hot wallets. I thought exchanges have a more systematic way of keeping their hotwallets always loaded but 1 mill each sounds like unnecessary risk.

First time I've heard of this exchange. Even small players have millions to play with huh.

@Betwrong: Nice call on gold! I've got a few bets expiring on the same time (1 day 13 hours) on Oil (I took shitty ones and they look like losing now haha) so I might go right back in once the new oil/gold ones come up and spend some of my precious interest earned on your gold predictions;)
6869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 11, 2020, 11:59:40 AM
still debating whether to include La Liga matches on my weekend bet slips or not, i might skip matchweek 1 and wait until the Big 4 return (barca, real, ateltico, sevilla)

Nothing stands out for me in this first match week games. If somebody made me to put money on something I would pick Villareal ML and Granada - Atletic under 2.5 goals. Those look like realistic choices but I will probably skip betting on La Liga at the beginning and wait to see the form of the teams before putting out big money on them.

Neither for me. I picked Barca to win by 2 goals just because. I know we probably won't have Suarez by then but that just means we'll probably be playing Griezmann together with Coutinho and that sounds pretty fierce on its own.

Granada to win + Valencia + Villareal also sound like an "easy" 10x but nothing goes as predicted at these stages usually.

I believe outrights are one of the most sensitive bets in the sports industry, you are betting on something you have no idea what will happen, so far from the moment you bet and when you are this close it all goes down.

Yes, I think outrights are only good for those huge odds like Leicester winning at 5000:1 those few seasons ago. I see it quite pointless to go for outrights and then see your pick do well until he drops out.

Might as well bet and rebet all your winnings into the guy every stage of the way until the end. Bet you get much more than the odds offered for outrights.
6871  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: September 11, 2020, 08:49:23 AM
Still thinking where to put this bet.
Yeah I was gonna ask if there's a line with good value in this match? maybe BTTS? U2.5 goals? DNB?

I went to check Crystal Palace 'Opening Day' record after they returned to the PL (back in 2013) and, it's bad, but Southampton's opening week record in the last 7 seasons isn't that great either:

Crystal Palace: 2W 1D 4L
Southampton: 1W 4D 2L

i think it's very tempting to throw that freebet on Saints ML at 2.49 odds (w/ boost), but it's the first game of the season, could be a bit risky, no?

I ended up putting my bet on Cricket last night, and won it quite comfortably, so yay I got 0.6 mbtc win and now can look forward to a free bet coming. Maybe I just choose to go with Steve's Multi Magic for 7.0 and claim a huge weekend prize:)

Seems like Southampton are due for a opener win though;)

Seems a lot of people going to be disappointed by the looks of it;) But I had a lot of good times and the one big magical win at Majestic Seven so I'll stick around for sure. Not sure I'll be tempted by the freespins (how much is each worth, 5 cents maybe?) I guess it will be like getting 5% cashback up to $100? Only good odds get me going for Sports:)
6873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Miners' EXIT movements on: September 11, 2020, 06:01:39 AM
They are just playing it safe but I'm not sure how people understand it.
Miners could freely do anything that they want but somehow we mistakenly understand it and put them in question. Anyway, if they are still making good in mining, I believe also that they have a reason also why they have to transfer their funds to exchanges and converted it to stable coins, which might be a big option since the market is so volatile.

Well, I don't dig deeper into what is their plan and why they are doing that. With this free market, we are entitled to make a change and prepared for the incoming.

Nothing wrong with questioning everything, but I think sometimes people read too much into what miners do (or don't do). I think a lot of what we think we know about miners and mining is wrong. It probably doesn't cost as much as we think, for example, mainly due to state subsidies and other kickbacks and merged mining few people count. Things like that.
6874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tron (TRX) Ever Reach $5? on: September 10, 2020, 01:00:52 PM
I agree, anything is possible to happen but lets be realistic when it comes to price. I think $5 is too much to aim for now, if we look into the current price it seems impossible. But just like I said anything can happen, though it might takes few months or years before TRX can achieve it.

Realistic is the last thing crypto people are, especially when it comes to altcoins. To be fair to TRX, it has been doing a LOT of things. Partnerships to do utility. Their Dapps are slowly but surely growing. Just that I think Justin himself seems to have a knack for knocking the reputation down with his stunts. Some people don't like that, others do.

I'm having a lot of fun betting on FreeBitco.in, and my profit is not negative, at least, so I'm going to keep betting there. Smiley The outcome odds are amazing sometimes compared to other sites. Check out US OPEN - MEN'S SINGLES - 2020, for example, (ends in 7 hours, btw). Where else you can find such good odds?

Love this site, seriously. Actually lost a lot due to some security issue here but I have now changed everything and done 2FA (it was my fault for not doing that 2FA) but I have not once seen good odds on the betting options as compared to bookies so I presume I should be checking the odds here closer to the expiry time.

That's the perimutual system though, you can find good odds if majority bets on one item and not on yours. I never found it to be the case for football though, all my bets have always been on odds much lower than my regular book. I should look more, hmm.
6876  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: September 10, 2020, 09:03:01 AM
I was planning to save my balance for the live casino hero and multi master then another tempting promo comes in.

I can't miss out on the free bet promo so here's my betslipCheesy

Southampton's odds against Crystal Palace is looking great at 2.4. I might put my free bet on them instead of the under.

Still thinking where to put this bet. Southampton really does look like a good pick but I haven't seen them play at all since last season and have no idea how they look like now.

Plus 1 mbtc is quite a large amount for me. But damn. FREEBET.
6877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 10, 2020, 07:56:48 AM
If only there was a better way for people to review all of these smart contracts on the different platforms, or even a way for them to get them reviewed by a certain group of independent coders. Not that I would still ever use them, but surely there's a way to see if they work against the investors.

Great site name I agree with RHavar, but man, you really don't need to have all that fake user volume there. Give it a bit of effort (and pay for the license maybe) and just try give it an honest go and people might actually come in to try.

Still waiting for someone to come up with a real bustabit challenger:P

Ouf damn, nice timing for me to come on with such a huge rain bonus. Just too bad I don't seem to be getting it much in normal times;)

Thank you to Nephew for all that.

Anyone know what that LTC bonus is all about?
6880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 09, 2020, 10:14:47 AM

I agree on one hand, but on another, when I see white collar people earning millions for doing criminal activities like banks and corporations, making people literal slaves in some countries and not even paying corporate tax, then I think someone who plays with his life on the line, living disciplined ways and not even enjoying sleeping late or gambling like us, then I say well deserved.

Italian citizenship? That's crazy!

His wife has Italian citizenship for over a decade, and he asked it 2 years ago way long before this summer's rumor.
Also, someone is saying that he already has it and this rumor is only a fake rumor created to move the attention from the real intent of Luis, the full paid exit bonus from Barca.

I'm pretty much a Barca news consumer but I'm really surprised I didn't know about this bit (him asking for it), I mean, he'd play for Uruguay any day but not sure if his style would ever fit Italy (or is that not how citizenship would affect which country he plays for?). I guess I realize now I actually know very little of the players and their personal lives!
