6881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Hardware Wallet Battle on: March 28, 2019, 10:55:15 AM
I prefer to store my crypto on the paper wallet than storing on the desktop wallets. Hardware wallets are safer but for small amounts, it is better to use online wallets.

No problem with storing your crypto in a paper wallet, as long as it is stored in an air gapped device (not connected to the internet).

I'm also in Ledger right now, it still serves my purpose so I'm not going to buy any new one. Probably just to test Nano though, just maybe one of this days I will try. But I'm satisfied with my Ledger so everything is good.

Lol, and now this is the future, been almost a year before they finally decided.

Probably will do good thing for us specially that adoption of Segwit is very slow and we need those exchanges to really support as to minimised the network congestion specially if bitcoin price goes to the moon again in 2020.

It's better late than never. Segwit just happened to take a bit longer to roll out than people expected. Combined with the Lightning Network, the fees should be low during the next bull market.

Correct, we have problems with the fees and the network congestion during the last bull-run, so if exchanges will also follow and implement Segwit then definitely it will be a big help to alleviate the expected high traffic when the price spike again.

I also wonder what other exchanges are still into the legacy address though?

I know this one because I always got pain from my neck going down that there are days I can't fully stand without taking a pain reliever.

What I did is visit my chiro have some placement. However, it's recurring that's why the best method I discovered is just taking a break from sitting in front of your computer and working standing. Yes, I can't stressed that more, there are a lot of adjustable tables you can buy in the market that fully support a table and you can work standing. And then when you are tired adjust it again. Another thing, just go to the gym and exercise to take a way all the stress of crypto trading.  Grin

6885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Second Attempt: Bittrex Announces Its First Initial Exchange Offering on: March 28, 2019, 08:30:42 AM
They really need to do it as Binance is already far ahead in competition. Kucoin recently has it's own launchpad and Bittrex, after the failed attempt with Raid should be good with their IEO offering.

Now the competition ante is up, so let's see who will survived in this battle. But if you look at the bright side, this is very good for us, we have so many options right now to choose. Lots of FOMO I supposed and I'm sure within minutes the sale will be over so hurry up.  Grin

What’s the next Grand Slam? Federer is in great form, he just never gets old. I might bet on him to win at Wimbledon this year, he’s an amazing sportsman.
French open hehe. I don't think he will play that though and I think it's better if he doesnt play it so that he just concentrates on Wimbledon.
French open is Nadals btw .

I think Nadal is still injured that's why he didn't play in this tournament (correct me if I'm wrong).

Probably he is resting for the French Open but who don't know if he has enough time to heal that injury and be 100%. So it's better if Federer will try his luck on French Open, the last time he won this tournament is like 10 years ago.

Hi, what a way to introduce yourself in the community  Grin.

I would advise you to create a thread in the Services board. I think that's the appropriate place you can promote such services.

Who knows, maybe you can find potential customers there or beta testers. Best of luck!!!

6888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 27, 2019, 05:29:41 PM
I'm imagining the bad fell that happened to him and it makes feel more than an ouch. Please recover fast Nurkic!

Enough for Nurkic discussion.

Let's discuss the Bucks vs the Rockets game, it ended up a win for the home team, bucks beating the Rockets (108-94)
and although Harden had a double double tonight but he did not score 30+ points, and we know what will happen if their main scoring machine is limited with that score only. Harden is consistent scoring 30+ points every game but got limited tonight, the defense of the Bucks are making it possible.

Correct, if Harden doesn't score 30+ points, then Houston has a problem. And we should give credits where it is due, to the Bucks swarming defense. You can check the stats, Houston just shot 35% from the field and went 16-52 from 3's very strange for Rockets. But then again, the defense is superb and not only that they created a lot of problem and turn-overs for Houston as well. So good game for the Bucks and really showing who is the team to beat in the East.

Exactly, their defense is very high level at this point. Giannis didn't score many today, it was  Eric Bledsoe  who lead the Bucks, but they didn't need Giannis to score more because their team defense really hold Houston Rockets.

Harden only scored 23 points, and didn't have his usual triple double, just 7 assist, another testimony of the good defense that Milwaukee has put and you can also see them missing the usual shots they make.

Bucks has a chance to be the NBA Champion, they have the defense and they are also dominant in rebounding, also don't forget they beat the warriors.
Their road and home record are good and Giannis is hungry to be in the NBA finals.|
I'm just thinking of possibility, if Giannis will not win the MVP this season, but he can still be an NBA Finals MVP if they will reach the NBA Finals.

That scenario is possible as well. And I guess team championship is really important than an individual award.

The win is really impressive, the defence and the length they go just to shutdown Harden today is very good. They might have planted the blue print on how to beat Rockets. Of course games played in playoffs is different because of the intensity, but Milwaukee is doing a good job so far and it may carry this momentum to the playoffs.
6889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Surge Could Boost Bitcoin on: March 27, 2019, 05:04:24 PM
Litecoin has been experiencing a strong surge of late and some analysts believe this could be setting Bitcoin up for an eventual recovery.
To learn more read here: https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/litecoin-surge-boost-bitcoin/

I think any other big changes will not happened while the other currencies affected are developed because Bitcoin is not so much connected to any other currencies so if the changes will not happen to Bitcoin is not applied for any other investment and the other investment are developed it will not affect bitcoin.

The only connection Bitcoin has is that everyone is pegged against it, all trading pairs are based on bitcoin.

But if there are any effects or correlation? I don't think so, everyone crypto is looking at bitcoin price before they moved. In this instance, it's good to see that Litecoin is making a significant gain but I'm not totally sold on it's effect or at least boost bitcoin price.
6890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "BOUNTIES" Is it still worth it? on: March 27, 2019, 04:33:39 PM
Because of the worsening market conditions, bounty hunting is not as it used to be. I used to be a bounty hunter myself but my last bounty campaign was way back Aug 2018 so obviously I already moved out because the rewards are not attractive plus you have to wait for so long before projects paid and tokens to be listed on an exchange.

And with IEO coming up, bounties might be affected negatively and exchanges are the one who will going to manage the promotion of their project.
6891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Raw trading data on: March 27, 2019, 04:26:51 PM
Does it mean the spreadsheet contains every individual trade ever made on every currency pair?

If so, I can see why this information can be pricey, but I still have a problem to see the usability in trading. Can you share something about how people use these data in practice?

Yeap I am talking for this kind of information.

In practice, you can use that info to train an AI trader bot or test your strategy (bot or manual).

You can use the tick by tick data to extract all kind of useful info (point and figure, technical analysis, etc...)

Ok, now I understand why you guys needed such information.

And so you are asking if everyone here is interested to the bot that you are going to create?

Well there's a lot of bots already, but if you have something unique to offer then why not?

6893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, ETH, Litecoin, Cash Bitcoin, Stellar, Tron: Price Analysis, March 25, 2019 on: March 27, 2019, 03:43:06 PM
Which is my question is:
1. How about this news, are you sure are investing in Bitcoin and other coins, for the future cryptocurrency.

There is still a risk, every investment is, there are no assurance what's going to happened in the future.

2. What this news can add to your motivation. Against cryptocurrency like Bitcoin and other coins, which are currently dropping.

Well if we have learn something from the past, that is to take every opportunity to bag cheap coins and just wait for the eventual bull-run.

3. What is your next action on Bitcoin for you, do you give up or stick to your investment position.[/b]

Again, I don't like giving financial advise, but personally, I would just buy and accumulate and HODL, simple strategy but very effective.

And about Tim Draper? Here is a good thread,

I haven't tried the games before, but I already take a look at the website. The design of the website is good with yellow color.  I think it's an exciting website and has many games on the site. Maybe later I will try to register and play some games. But of course, I will use the faucet to test the games Grin

Yes mate, you can try to play and test it out with the faucet, but I'm warning you as others have said, the game is really addictive.  Grin

Maybe I can get another fun from the website so that I can add the site in my list.

Usually I play when I just want to pass some time or before going to bed, but the rush and the feeling makes it more harder for me to sleep specially if you are in a winning run.  Grin. So just be careful.  Wink
6895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EDN is performing very well, accumulating before rebounding sharply. on: March 25, 2019, 11:47:34 PM
Just be very careful about the project and don't be moved by just the price of the coin because it can just be a strategy by the team of the project to make people make purchase of the coin before carrying out a major scam.

Right mate. I mean we should also look fundamentally about this coins and not just the price. It could be someone from behind is manipulating and waiting for noobs to fall for the trap.

I am talking base on experience because I have invested in some project because I began to see a significant increase in the price of the coin, but all of a sudden the price dumped drastically because the team behind the project went on the exchange to dump all the coins they hold.

We've been in the market long enough to see what's going on behind, so I'm not totally sold about EDN, I have nothing against them, but I guess I needed more time to study this coin and what it can bring to the crypto sphere to be a good investment specially long term.
6896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 25, 2019, 11:35:11 PM
Guys be really careful with your bets.

This is the time now where there could be teams that will try to lose games just so they could match up with a team which weakness is them.
One example could be GSW who may be selling their games for that purpose. Since they already have a spot in the playoffs they may want to go against a team which they could sweep in the first round and save their energy for the 2nd round.
It is a tactic which happens quite a lot and also might get wrong.

Just watch out.
PS: I am just using GSW as an example but I am not sure they are really doing it by now.

Isn't it against the rule to deliberately lose a game?

I mean if NBA found out that they are going on losing intentionally then they could be fine.

They still needed to be #1 seed to really game that home court advantage specially if they face Denver Nuggets? No?
6897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: March 25, 2019, 11:26:24 PM
At first I also thought that the bear market is very much hinders to earn, now I see how very convenient it is possible to trade on it and get a stable profit when there are no big changes in prices
You would be surprised to know and this will strike you but some of the experts are of the view that this is in fact the bull market. Yes, you heard it right. The normal and general perception about the bull run is the high prices that are linked and related to the bull run but that is not so according to the experts. They are of the view that when the market sets in and a sought of stability is achieved, that is the Bull Run.

Perhaps it's not what people thinks of a bull market though, majority of them thinks that when we are in a bull-run the prices keeps going up.

Well, today the price broke the $4k barrier again, indicative that we are still far from the bullish cycle though. As for how long this bear market will last, hard to see. It will continue to trade sideways for a long time, unless there is a major breakout news.
6898  Other / Off-topic / Re: The end of all ends on: March 25, 2019, 11:18:17 PM
Hello!
We, all crypto users are wish a long life to bitcoin to it continue to bring us some extra profit on different ways. But one day something new will replace bitcoin. My question is - how many year you give to bitcoin before it will turn totally useless?

It will become useless when the price goes to '0'.

But do you guys think it's possible? Even if the last bitcoin is mine, people will still continue to hold and trade it. Well, we don't know what the price could be but it definitely will not be '0'.  Grin
6899  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to avoid problems on: March 25, 2019, 10:13:04 PM
Problem is un-avoidable in my personal opinion. And we don't have solutions for that. I don't know how old are you but it looks like you are still young and making hastily decisions and not thinking of the consequences of your action.

My only advice is that you think before making any decisions specially the effect if could bring to you and your family. I'm not sure about meditation though, maybe you can try it to avoid stress in your life.
6900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange volume: More fake than real? on: March 25, 2019, 10:06:01 PM
It's pretty obvious that those exchanges new or even some established one as really faking their volumes. Maybe the question is why they are doing this fraudulent practices?

One reason I see is that to attract noobs investors, because competition is very tough this days, specially that we are still in the bearish cycles.
