6921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 06, 2019, 10:17:00 PM
Real Madrid suffered another loss - this time they lost to Real Sociedad 2:0 at home. I'm not fan of Real, but I think they got robbed by referee because there was 2 obvious penalties weren't given - in first half there was foul against Ramos and in second half Sociedad goalkeeper fouled against Vinicius.
Since Lopetegui was fired, Real won club world cup, but they continue to waste points against mid table teams like Sociedad, Eibar or Villarreal. If such results will continue, I wouldn't be surprised if Perez will sack Solari. But maybe now they will focus on UCL.
It was perfect weekend for Barca because almost all teams from top 6 dropped points, only Alaves managed to win. These results let Barca to increase their lead. And by the way, win of Barca gainst Getafe was very hard - Getafe had some great chances to score, but they missed or ter Stegen saved it.
6922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: January 06, 2019, 02:59:36 PM
What do you guys think of Man United vs PSG at the KO stages?  Man United's odds of getting thru has prolly gone up with Mou gone (but then again, I like Mou's pragmatic approach in tourneys).

When there was Mou in charge, I didn't see any chances for MU to win against PSG. But now MU is hot team, it's become interesting to watch them playing. Now I would say this pair is 50/50. Ok, maybe PSG have slightly better chances, but I think everything can happen in this pair. It should be very interesting matches to watch.
6923  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Bitcoin QR code maker on: January 06, 2019, 12:26:53 AM
Thanks for warning. I saw thread by this user in Project Development section few days ago. I posted warning that's fake website, and this thread has been deleted by mods later. Should we report such threads?
6924  Economy / Reputation / Re: False trust - derek543 on: January 06, 2019, 12:18:22 AM
Wow, this guy looks desperate - he left you five negative feedbacks without any reference. I don't believe that he are doing it without any reason. Maybe in past you reported him or his alt as scammer and he is angry at you.
He isn't DT member, so his feedbacks doesn't affect your trust score. But this red color definitely doesn't looks goid on your profile. Unfortunately, not much can be done, because trust aren't moderated on Bitcointalk. I'm not sure, maybe some DT members can red tag him for leaving fake trust.
6925  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Posting an ANNOUNCEMENT thread on: January 05, 2019, 02:35:32 PM
Another option - hire high ranked member to post ANN thread. But you need to find member with good reputation.

For me, if you do something like this I'd see you as trying to 'fake' your reputation. It's better if you use your own account, Copper member is made for this purpose. Who post your ANN & Bounty thread doesn't bring any credibility if your project is not good. You should focus on your project more than deciding how you made your ANN & bounty thread.
I understand your point and I think you're right that it gives fake reputation to project, because person who posted ANN aren't part of ICO devs team. Personally, I was hired to post announcements for few ICO's and it was quite successfull. But as I remember, back then there was no Copper memberships available. I agree that it's not crucial thing who posted announcement. But about bounties - let's leave this thing to professionals. I think all ICO's must hire manager for their bounty campaign Cheesy
6926  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk mass hacking... Look at seclog now! on: January 04, 2019, 09:18:49 PM
In the human mind, is good and there is bad, right now people don't have work, they can only make trouble and nonsense, so it's not surprising to find something like this, maybe you can see zombies waking up from their nests ,
Example:
1. zom Position: Brand new
<snip>
10. unQ Position: Brand new

For that there is no need to wonder what people are doing, maybe in 1 day all over the world it can make the same thousands of accounts, by irresponsible person.
Interesting, I also noticed that huge part of accounts which wake up is Brand New, but there are also many Newbie accounts with few posts made. There is also few Jr. Member who ranked up with 1 Merit and few higher ranked accounts, but maybe they aren't related to majority of accounts that wake up. I don't think that these Brand New and Newbie accounts that wake up are hacked, because I don't see many reasons to hack such accounts because they are worthless. I would predict that's just one of botnets which belongs to spamming services
6927  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Be careful, Google knows more about you than you can imagine! on: January 04, 2019, 03:19:37 PM
The Big Brother is watching you. Smiley I checked history of my phone location and it's empty, because I have location history turned off. I only can see current location of my phone. Despite that I have location history turned off, Google probably still knows where I've been today, yesterday or month ago.
I don't know why, but I'm not so concerned about my privacy. Maybe because I'm not very important person who have many things to hide. Offcourse, these privacy issues is coming more serious eventually, but it gives some benefits. Just one example - what if I lose my phone one day or someone will steal it? I would be able to see my lost phone location on Google Maps, lock my phone or just delete all data in my phone without having it in my hands. If you want to have benefits like this one, you have to pay price of privacy.
6928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's lesson on: January 04, 2019, 12:17:36 AM
Thank you theymos for this post. Maybe Satoshi aren't Einstein, but for me it's unbeleavable what one very smart guy without huge team of well paid developpers can do. No one else didn't even tried to make something similar as he did. And we can see how Satoshi believed in Bitcoin - he spent over 2 years of work to create what we have today. There was no guarantees that Bitcoin will be supported and accepted by other people. Maybe Bitcoin isn't perfect, but considering that only one person worked in creation of Bitcoin, it's almost perfect. Satoshi considered so many aspects which wouldn't came to head of many developpers and these few downsides which Bitcoin have aren't that significant in general.
In first years Bitcoin was used by only small number of geeks. Now, after just 10 years it's used by millions in all corners of world and big part of earth's population at least heard name of Bitcoin. So many things happened in these 10 years, but there are still huge, maybe unlimited potential that Bitcoin have.
Happy birthday, Bitcoin!
6929  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in provably cheating on: January 03, 2019, 11:25:47 PM
Did you see this post comparing the ratio between $20 and $200 winners in that thread? Based on my sample size of 118 winners, the $200 prize should have drawn 12 times more than it did.
I saw it and I don't think that numbers that you counted mean something. There is no way how we can know real number of $20 and $200 winners. Users who post in that thread proof of winning get extra $5 bonus. Users who won $20 are more incentivised to post because $5 is significant bonus to their winning. I think that big number of $200 winners don't bother to sign up on forum to upload proof just to get five bucks. And when people win bigger amount of money, not everyone want show it in public and attract attentiin to themselves. Offcourse, it's just my assumptions without knowing real number of $20 or $200 winners. There was also complaints about their lottery, that there was only few users that posted proofs that they won. But if I would win over 2 BTC one day, I'm not sure that I would want to post about it in public to get few bucks as a bonus.
6930  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [List] Bitcoin Advertising Networks & Captcha Advertising on: January 03, 2019, 04:37:52 PM
man , are you sure adhitz paying to faucet sites? Tongue
I also heard in past that Adhitz doesn't accpet crypto faucets anymore. I even found old post of @felicita where he said it:

Coinmedia.co was allways legit and they pay good if you reach the gold or VIP network with your advertise spots.
Adhitz - there support sad to me about 2 years ago they wont work anymore with faucets but they still payed my last traffic until then.
Adalso - i guess its scam from donaldbitcoin admin ......

kind regards
6931  Other / Meta / Re: Posting in local boards to improve language skills? on: January 03, 2019, 02:58:22 PM
I learnt Russian as my second foreign language at school and I understand it quite well. So, in past I tried to post in Russian local board, but then I realised that speaking/writting skills are so bad and my text were written in broken Russian language. It was obvious that I not native speaker, so I stpped posting there. I don't think that local boards in Bitcointalk is right place to improve language skills because if your language skills aren't that good you just give a bad experience to readers. If you really want to improve your language skills, try to watch movies in German language with English subtitles, read books. Also, there is good thing called language exchange apps where you can talk to another person in foreign language, for example German, Spanish or French.
6932  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in provably cheating on: January 03, 2019, 02:36:38 PM

Although I did never check, I also don't believe that freebitco will do cheating. I never have seen such kinda complain and I personally win $20 couple of times. It would be better if TheQuin put his/her opinion here.
Yeah, and there is even dedicated thread where people are posting their $20 and $200 wins. It's interesting how @broke_tradah would explain this thing. Probably he will say that freebitco.in allow to win for small part of their users to show that they're legit, while thry are cheating with rest of users.
It would be interesting to hear TheQuin words about OP case. I asked once him to post here, but he choose to ignore this thread because OP didn't provided more proofs than just words.

Don't want to create new thread, so I post it here. Here is email that I got from Ledger:

What it could be? Ist it just announcement about firmware update? OBut firmware update isn't a big news in my opinion as described in message? In upcoming days Ledger will participate in CES event in Vegas, but it's also not something big.
6935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 02, 2019, 10:34:20 PM
Looks that I choose to watch best match tonight between Bournemouth and Watford which ended 3:3. In first half we saw 6 goals combined. Second half was less exciting, but I lost count how many saves Ben Foster made tonight.
Very big game tonight between City and Liverpool on Thursday and I have no idea what score to predict. Liverpool now in great shape, but City will play at home. And it will be big pressure under City players because they don't have right to loose. If Liverpool will win, they will have safe 10pts advantage and less than half season to go.
6936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitcoinTalk Rank on: January 02, 2019, 03:19:58 PM
OP, did you lived undervthe rock in 2018? It's almost 1 year since Merit system was introduced and you still haven't heard about it?
Based on your post history you will never reach Sr. Member rank because nobody gives merit for bounty reports and "great project" posts. But you are still lucky - you have been here long enough to get airdroped 100 merits based on your rank and you can join signature bounties. New members don't have such privilege.

Received it fast but I see errors on A LOT of channels....

Refund Please!
Seems that I was right - OP just collected lot of channels from free sources like iptv.zone, and what a surprise - most of them stop working after few days or don't work at all.

I'm not sure that's plagiarism, but I haven't seen something similiar before - user is advertising text spinners in his posts.
I've seen it: Smartass newbie wearing a "signature". BAN?
Yeah, I saw in past some users who had signature codes in their posts, but usually they promoted ICO's or something similar to get payment from bounty. Now someone tried to promote spamming tools in his posts what is new thing to me.
