6921  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Would you buy a hardware wallet? on: September 22, 2016, 05:47:49 AM
I dont like to put all of my coins into a wallet so i dont think i would buy a hardware wallet and that is just because i know how bad the security of the wallets are.

Yes the security is not so good plus the fact is that they can get stuck and they you have the chance of losing your wallet forever.. so that is pretty sick if you are asking me.
If you guy's don't like keeping your coins in a wallet then where are you going to keep them, in your pocket or coin purse?

@ybalevia, can you provide any proof or information to back up your claim that hardware wallets have bad security?
Seems like that just their speculation, because too many I've always heard from the old member in here if storing in the hardware wallet is better than storing in your desktop wallet or especially online wallet.  and the chance for losing your money is just caused by your fault.
6922  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sig campaign recommendations for "members" on: September 22, 2016, 01:10:26 AM
What signature campaigns do you guys recommend for members specifically, i am looking for around 0.01BTC fixed weekly, like ICO had, but the campaign stopped 1 week after i was in. I have a hard time finding a new campaign that is comparable with that one. Any recommendations?

If you look about the rate then with Komodo signature campaign you have a rate of 0.00144BTC if you make 25 posts within 9 weeks, otherwise if you make more than 150 then the rate is 0.00048BTC, other campaigns with good rates are closed for new participants
But the rate is so lower.... BITAC maybe will be the best rate for me but that's right they're a;ready full in this time...
6923  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: September 22, 2016, 01:06:06 AM
Can you try and have http://www.gamiss.com/ added to your list for the rebates? It's an online clothing store that ships worldwide, they have great discounts and it would be great to have additional rebates from your service. Thanks!

* I mostly use local shopping sites to save on delivery charges like cashcashpinoy, lazada and olx (like ebay).
* Then Gamiss and Amazon.

And he are not accepting bitcoin payment and i just using visa or master card for buying in them.
For surely all of your lists is a need for converting the bitcoin before into the fiat cash... and amazon is the best site in this time for me...
6924  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: September 22, 2016, 12:59:40 AM
Yes ridiculous isn't it. That's why I refuse to buy anything with paypal and I never use Ebay.
Paypal is so expensive and customer unfriendly it always makes me wonder how they build up such a big userbase from such a bad experience.

Personally I haven't used with paypal yet but it seems like so chargeable for the transactions. I have noticed the many complaints and scam attempts on the name of paypal. For these kind of things We can use the bitcoins instead of paypal for the money transfers beyond the border transaction.
Paypal just matching for online buying or shopping and it's not matching for trying a business like sending and receiving money because too a lot of gap in their rules and restricted their users.
6925  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: September 22, 2016, 12:49:14 AM
Probably you need to hire services of a marketing  expert to ensure a good projection in your product.

Yes you should hire marketing services if you don't know much about it yourself cause marketing is very important to be done right.
Your whole "product" evolves around the marketing cause you need to get known before you can sell.
But for hiring marketing service just applied if you're not have any knowledge about the trading...
and about the marketing of your product is needed for making the another people is know about your product and will feel interesting for buying your product..
6926  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you like to be able to buy with BTC online? on: September 22, 2016, 12:29:14 AM
I would like to buy alot of office furnitures with bitcoin online. I have just started getting my own office and I need stuff for in the office.
Probably there's a online bitcoin marketplace somewhere which sells this but I haven't been lucky enough to find it yet.
I can find it, but just using the gift card method... too many the sellers is not accepted bitcoin and sued me for using the another way for purchasing it using my bitcoin... i never using bitcoin for purchasing anything indirectly..
6927  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon and bitcoins on: September 22, 2016, 12:22:56 AM
I'm not sure why amazon hasn't accepted bitcoin but since they still don't accept bitcoin yet, I'm using purse.io or buy amazon gift cards at a discounted price to shop at amazon.
Think about the amazon will accepting bitcoin or not it's just useless things in this day and why? caused by all of the suggestion will no be heard by the amazon and will be better if discussing with their CS... but for my personally if still there is a way for buying in amazon I will not making a hard things for that.

I think its not useless to suggest amazon to accept bitcoins since bitcoins are great option to be accepted for them but the thing that barricade them for accepting it is the unstability of the price and that is the big minus for business sector including amazon since they can lost money for certain downfall of a price, but also in other hand i think amazon are in deep analyzation for bitcoin since it is thrend in global markets  maybe we can't see it accepted by them for now but mayb in the future we can see that they are accepting it if the time is right.
The instability is always been a main reason of the big companies needs think for a twice accepting bitcoin in this time. I hate it but I love it... that's so dilemma for me...but maybe the exit problems are they need for converting the bitcoin payment into the cash in directly but the another problem will appear caused by the every transaction needs a time and the movement of price has always happened on every second.
6928  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you earn from bitcointalk? on: September 22, 2016, 12:14:20 AM
If you plan on spamming BTCT in order to support your family you're going to get banned pretty quickly.

I am not talking about spamming or scamming. I want the rough idea of how much i can earn legally through bitcointalk signature campaign.
You're already got your answer
Quote
I am in full member rank so I hardly manage to earn $14 monthly through signature campaign
earning from the signature campaign just enough for buying a burger and pizza I'm not got a more than it.because that is too lower.
6929  Other / Archival / Re: Decentralized, but very slow adoption OR centralized, but mass adoption happened on: September 21, 2016, 03:13:30 AM
Recently we saw some country/city have legalize bitcoin which means could accelerate bitcoin adoption, let merchants accept bitcoin and let people use bitcoin without worry.
But, we also know it means bitcoin slowly become centralized because regulation, user verification, taxes and eliminate anonymous service as well.

So, which one is better, decentralized, but very slow adoption OR centralized, but mass adoption happened? To be honest, i don't know which one is better Roll Eyes
You're already having the answer because everything is your mentioned is having the advantages and disadvantages... and so all of the answers will be vague for me.... but what about the subject of your question if this is about bitcoin and if that is centralized and that's not different with fiat and what the people is need for making bitcoin in this day?
6930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy when buying altcoins? on: September 21, 2016, 02:00:05 AM
I just know about buying at the low price and selling high, price and I don't take the another factor or reason from that. too many think about the strategy will just make me feel complicated and confused, and the simple goal of me just for gaining profit.
6931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank Digital Currencies: a Revolution in Banking? on: September 21, 2016, 01:02:41 AM

Sometimes I am wondering why they are trying to do this. Is it really that they are seeing the threats coming from the cryptosphere?
Considering from the cryptosphere and obvious that is will giving the different threat for the bank but the effect will feel for a long term. the crypto is already gnawing the bank and especially for their customer.
6932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Happens if I lose my Bitcoins? on: September 21, 2016, 12:54:59 AM

6933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin related businesses do you own? on: September 21, 2016, 12:40:42 AM
I wonder how many of you guys have already started bitcoin related business.
Actually i have local store at my regional (Indonesia) and i have plan using bitcoin for payment method if there are people who will shopping on my store, but the problem bitcoin is not popular on my regional and it is hard for related bitcoin in my business.

My advice to you pal you must wait for an exact time which you could see that there are many people already who uses Bitcoin on your country because if you intend to sell without any potential costumers then your business would go stagnation or would gain no profits at all.
Yes, but if i don't campaign and accept the bitcoin for payment method at local store the people never knowing about bitcoin and it is will long time for waiting until there are many using bitcoin.
Not many bitcoiners in your country and just keep you are wishing your hoping in your dream and hoping will have happened massive adoption in your country. the opening bitcoin payment it's just useful in the north Americans country. the people is wanna for visiting your store it just about for buying something and i think they will never interested with bitcoin if he already having their convenient payment like fiat and the fiat is already hold in his hand.
6934  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who sent me 0.015 btc on: September 21, 2016, 12:27:52 AM
Why are you thinking so much mate? 0.015 btc is not an huge amount to have, if you got it for free then enjoy it, and if someone claims you then you can return it.
From all of their sentences I can define if he is feel worried if the amount is from the unknown person is from his previous campaign or opair and should get 0.1 btc and just get paid by 0.015 and I think everyone will feeling doubt about that.
6935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transfer Fees Will Go Up With Time - How Can This Affect BTC Market on: September 21, 2016, 12:09:22 AM
Assuming that the value of Bitcoin goes up at least on par with whatever the fee is (so something like $0.09-$0.10) there wouldn't have to be an increase in the fee Bitcoin-wise. They just have to make sure that they still get about the same amount dollar-wise, and if they can do that then they'll be fine with whatever happens for the most part, I'd assume.
About the increasing of fees maybe like the blockchain is having a different reason for that because can't always think if that is a big fee comparing if you're sending $1000 and got fees $0.20 and whether you feel so weight with that?
6936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bankers will destroy block chain tech, decentralization, bitcoin? on: September 21, 2016, 12:01:40 AM
If you haven't noticed already, the two coins below Bitcoin, Ethereum(ETH) , Ripple (XRP) have forged theier way into crypto with massive fundings from bank, backed by bankers, both Ethereum and Ripple have second and third market capitalization respectively after Bitcoin, Do you think the bankers who manipulated the global market and caused the global crash of 2008 which led to suicide of thousands of innocent people for making bankers profit, will bring down bitcoin, block chain tech and  decentralization?

1. How are you going to stop the bankers trying to dictator crypto?

2. Are you fully aware of things that are going on?

3. What measures are you taking now?

Best Regards
Bitcoins are the main father of that two alt coin where ethereum are the second one high price in cryptop currency which is i dont know if Ripple are forge their way to crypto to have massive funding from investors and banks also
1.Are the bankers have connection on cryptocurrency?
2.No im not fully aware why ? because im not a trader

That is just a speculation but the possibilities are always there, but I do not believe it. the banker is no need connection into the cryptocurrency and why the bank needs the connection?it's not having a relationship with trader but the op is doubt if the ripple and eth are the crypto invasion from the bank.
6937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2,000,000 Into bitcoin (advice me) on: September 20, 2016, 11:51:40 PM
A friend of my i introduced BTCbitcoin to in 2014 now want to invest $2,000,000 into bitcoin mining and his is asking me is bitcoin mining is still profitable?

I have drafted out my own list but i want advice from you all

This are some question he still asked me..

How much can he make from mining?
and what are the list of equipment we need to buy with the $2,000,000 for us to start mining?

What will be the monthly revenue?
What will be the yearly revenue?

Cost of maintenance?

TOTAL COST OF ELECTRICITY MONTHLY FOR ANY COMPANY OR INDUSTRY IN MY COUNTRY IS $4000
(electricity is cheap here)

Land (Space) have been bought by him
Honestly I wont suggest anyone to invest that much amount in any bitcoin related business. If he wants to invest in crypto, advice him to invest in various projects. The wise thing would be for him to invest just $10k and make it $2 million
Hahahah that's right 2Million it's enough amount for making companies or big project, but if he can get 2Million and why they do not know about the investing way for their money.?

6940  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Discussion]What work would you do for 1$USD per hour? on: September 20, 2016, 08:50:29 AM
I dont think there are allot of peole in the world would work for just 1 dollar each hour maybe people in china or vietnam i dont think an europian would work for this!
In the Europe it's very not worthed for doing a job with the payment just for $1 for hours, I can say the salary of the foreign person is more than $1000 for a month... but that's correct if applying in the 3rd world countries.
