There is a different problem and this is number of confirmations needed by each store, service or whatever you can find who is accepting Bitcoins. Then more time is needed to get three or more confirmations.
All of the transaction it's instantly and this is applied on another transaction, no only on bitcoin and the number of confirmation is needed by each store because the confirmation can make the transaction is legal and some store is apply to get some confirmation before. |

I'd highly prefer getting paid through bitcoin. I consider it an asset and would definitely like to save in it, just like I used to save in gold. Though it's value is pretty bumpy, but I still consider it an advantage for the one who is keeping it.
Really dude? you'll keep all your salary in bitcoin and not spending it? because logically you also need to eat, pay for electricity, internet and other needs. So Where money is used for that purpose? or you have any other business, then I'll believe. I just saw that they have included a eth wallet now and you can even buy it from them. I think that means it is was not just a phase for it to make it's appearance known but it is now here to stay.  but they just made a new or adding a new features in their place, they know the ETH is having a good prospect in the future, after bitcoin they just wanna to earn profit for ETH, i never think this is will become a threat for bitcoin |

Well I am going to buy my own car too if someone is going to give it to me. And here in my country that is a good source of income that you are going going let people rent your car. Or you are going to register it on UBER or GRAB. For sure you are going to have a very happy time with it. But before withdrawing it I am going to hold it first. That is nice if you put your money in an investment like car renting that was really big help to have more income, and for me i want to build a business like restaurant and motorcycle shop. well i think that it is not a bad thing to be honest, in my opinion the volatility might give you a great chance to make money if you will hold it Lol though you have the opportunity to earn higher salaries or benefits more if you withhold it your salary. but if you're have family that depends only on salary. I think you only consider the value of bitcoin now but you do not look if the price will goes down i do not think you will be happy in receiving bitcoin as your salary. It is good if you work in online and you pay for bitcoin but in regular job i do not see it will be great for the workers. That is only my opinion. I dont think that the same thing will be happened again in the future. Maybe bitcoin price will increase in 2020 but not that big as what happened to that guy. But if you think that the same thing is going to happen, so you can start to buy and collect btc as many as you can and good luck for that if you are going to do it. It started from only a few quarters into a couple of hundred dollars within a span of 4-6 years so the hope of it to have a bright future is very much alive. I believe it has a future not because I am here, but because the concept of bitcoin is what makes bitcoin unique. To some extent i believe bitcoin will overtake the global currencies. Ethereum isn't really a "currency" like Bitcoin is, so it's like comparing apples to oranges... And then litecoin is pretty much the same thing as bitcoin without all the bloat... None of these two coins change how we would use cryptocurrencies as a currency. i will thank you and i will keep it in my wallet, because in history bitcoin has practically only increased its value, for me it's a very good investment yes and that is what i am also thinking. to me in present time i even cannot think about to use bitcoin. i am only going to hold it for the price increase. because it is expected that in next few months the price of bitcoin will increase so high. i think that it will even cross the 1200 USD level. Majority of users are hoping that price by the end of the year and that is the reason they are holding it and not spending it to earn higher profits. You are right with and that is what I'm hoping for. Hoping that the price of bitcoin before the end of the year is going to be at $800-$1,000. And if that happens that 10 bitcoins for sure is going to be big bucks at all. And after holding it, I'm going to convert it to fiat very fast. $1200/btc is impossible to reach this year i guess since bitcoins price is stable for now $680+ mark. Who knows it might increase its price drastically that would possibly reach that mark then many of us would be happy specially to those holder of such big amount of bitcoins in their wallet. User adoption is increasing day by day which will contribute to the price of bitcoin in positive way and if it continues then 2017 will be definitely the best year for bitcoin.
yeah every day there may be one or many users will continue to grow. may be slow but at least users will continue increasing and not decreasing. coinbase is just like other exchanger, bittrex, poloniex etc nothing to worry about it. Adding etherum on their list because etherum is one of the popullar alttcoin like other exchanger did, I dont think that it will threat bitcoin at this moment, it might be, once the etherum's price same or higher than bitcoin's price.

At this moment the future depends on how fast it will get adoption. If that moment is fast then we will see banks and creditcard companies embed bitcoin too.
Not just merchants, but even on the government level it may become embedded.
