It is not a simple topic just look down a few threads - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=852857.440

Biggest thing is picking a "real" company.   I stick with check history and check if they have verified equipment.  And remember it is not without risk.  Make sure to do ROI math.

Or to make it easier, pick with a already known asic producer, one of them is hashnest which has been around for a long time.

op, i suggest you check your comparison, but you want to factor the option to sell off your hash as well which can save your from major loss.

The only thing is if you compare just producer part asic miner would have gotten through your varibles.  And we all know how bad asic miner ended up.

So I would say use multiple variables like i suggested.   But that is not normal I would agree on that.
6942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I can earn from the Signature campaign? on: September 03, 2015, 01:38:37 AM
rank up ur account first then join a signature camp and keep posting to earn, very simple Smiley
it might be much easier if he would decide to buy the accounts instead of leveling up his new one though its my thoughts only

I don't suggest buying accounts.   Raising an account will always be better.   And you gain knowledge from your time on the forums.

If you use a bought account a lot of them are crap farmed posts.  This means not all people will want you if you buy an account and have bad post quality.  Yes some will get away with buying, but it really should not be supported as far as for signature campaigns.
youre definitely correct. from time to time using your own account and you ranked up your account up to sr. or maybe hero member, theres so many things that you may learned and also you will have a friends that may help you in the time when you are down or you can borrow to them in case of need coins urgently.

Human greed as always and we can't stop that. They want to claim more and never get satisfied. Everyone can having more than 1 account but there will be some risk for it so think wisely

We cannot stop greed.  But the funny part is likely some of them will buy accounts full of "one liners" like thanks or my favorite is offtopics like favorite drink.  Gee every day they say what they drink.

These accounts will apply to a "good" sig campaign and be turned down.   Yes a few will make it through but most of the farmed accounts really are quite crappy.  I wish everyone would enjoy the forums and not try to fast track.  But I do see why one would be wanting to fast track, I highly suggest them thinking twice before doing it.
what do you mean fast track? i didn't know what is it? and i didn't heard about what they do or something that you make angry with them.

Fast track as in buying an account.  It fast tracks them to a certain level, but as you can see from my posts I personally am very against this for just getting on a sig campaign.

I think you should get an account and raise it from newbie to whatever.  But I could be old fashioned.
So you mean that you angry with those people can't make an account and wait a long time to have a rank sr. member and up or those people who are lazy?

I am not angry.  It is part of the forums they allow sales of accounts.  So I cant really be angry.

I just think someone jumps to your example of senior rank they missed out of a lot of knowledge and time of forums most would be expected to have at that rank.  I feel they are missing the point of the forum, but that is just my feelings.

Funny thing is a lot of these accounts have horrible post history.  The fact is a lot are "farmed" and some even "botted" read meta to learn about the accounts that used bot it's amazing the lengths some of these account farmers do.   But if you have a horrible post history you will not be allowed in a lot of the better signature campaigns.   So someone might be wasting money on that account you speak of.
6943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to complete one btc fast? on: September 03, 2015, 01:32:49 AM
want to hear the easiest and the fastest way on how to get one bitcoin? its simple, you get the low paid job (you can get a better one if you are qualified enough) and convert months wage to bitcoins you can get even more than 1 bitcoin

this is probably the hardest truth to swallow.

just get a job, work the hrs, then save and take a small risk to buy 1 btc, and move on from there.

The truth is faucet and fast should not be in same statement:

hi guys,do you have a very suitable idea to complete your btc fast.fauceting is a very long way to go.gambling is no choice.you more often lose all your money in that.lets come and share your secrets of earning btc fast Kiss

Also gambling is a horrible idea on trying to earn.  The house always wins.  I highly suggest looking into safer options of earning.  Ones that random chance is not a huge factor.
6944  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evasion x2 (Never) , Please Help. on: September 03, 2015, 01:27:23 AM
The main reason we opened this topic is to recover the account if there is any chance.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, but any forum staff to help us ?

I suggest you PM the admins with an apology, and why you won't do this again. The forum staff usually do not reply to threads like these.

Send a PM to BadBear, he's the one who can unban people.

I suggest he makes 1 single account and does not post anywhere but meta i this thread to show it's him.  It's odd a "friend" doing all of this.   It should be him.

Again most likely wait a month or two and PM admin with appology, and if lucky they unban him.  But he most likely will not get a unbanned account very quickly when it's ban evasion.

Ok i will tell him do so. He will also update his localbitcoins profile with a his new username he will open here. Thanks.

Is he using this "new" username for a rep thread? Or any other threads to trade here on forums?

The new single account should have been to talk to admin's, not be used for LBC.  I have a feeling he's working his way to a 3rd ban for ban evasion.

The new 3rd account will be used only to talk to admin. He will indicate that the banned account is really a user on LBC. He will not post any messages with this account.
Only to PM the admins.

Btw, Who are the admins to send the PM about this issue ?

You can sort and see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=ID_GROUP;start=0

Care to post his new account or have him post in here?  It is still very weird your "friend" has not posted in here at all.

Thanks for posting forgot all about this scene in the movie.   Funny the tech they use in some movies.

The wiring does remind me of some horribly built data centers Smiley.  Just have it going everywhere.
6946  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: which site is the best for mining? on: September 03, 2015, 01:08:49 AM
i dont think there is a best cloud minning site. you have better to use hardware for minning.
and i really hate sparkprofit for stole my investment  Angry

Isn't sparkprofit an investing game?

You don't put any money into it from what I know.

You should not.... but sadly people do.

Realy you should do a LOT of research to make sure site is legit.   When it comes to cloud mining just has been a lot of Ponzi's.  It's easy to fake mining and pretend to send a little bit of initial investment.

My advice is look for long term history.  And look to make sure they have verified mining machines.
6947  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S5 slow on: September 03, 2015, 01:06:02 AM
I wrote the Bitmain support. They said they send back to the board. To this it should be packed to avoid any damage?

Yes they check to make sure damaged/non working.  So they want you to pack where it's not going to get destroyed in shipping.

Were you still in warranty?  If not can I ask how much did they estimate?
6948  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread aug 23rd to sept 5th. Picks are closed. on: September 03, 2015, 01:01:30 AM

Possible Interests/offers
6952  Economy / Computer hardware / C1 -Parts Model- All Parts SOLD! on: September 03, 2015, 12:44:25 AM
Selling a complete C1 and upgraded cooling set.   This is being sold as parts, and below is the possible parts.   I will be taking offers from everything from a single part to multiple to entire thing.  Let me know what you interested in and an offer.   Buyer pays shipping I do not plan to make money on shipping.   Shipping from US.

The story behind this is the C1 had the normal life.  I upgraded to a much better pump and a molex to fan connector to make an upgraded pump system (and much more reliable pump system).   At some point 1 hashing board stopped.   I decided to clean entire unit up and put new thermal paste on each blade.   After 2 boards worked.  I did not make it past this it set on my project area waiting till now. It is missing a few screws that I just could not find in my project area.  If you know what your doing you might be able to have better luck then me, or you can pick up some parts for your working C1.  Always used coolant in it, never had water or other possibly bad liquids used.

Parts Still for sell:

Unused wiring harness:

Cooling Gear

Syscooling gear - Never used pumps x2 - 1 extra reservoir topper for syscooling pump - 1 bottom rubber base

Radiator - Works fine no leak.  Fans all work on it

Tubing + metal locks - As you can see this was ran on green coolant.  They have some residue from green coolant.

Parts Sold:

Miner itself has been sold

Upgraded Pump - Has a much larger resivor then original pump.  Pumps faster and much more reliable then original pump.  Also has LED at top. I paid 40 dollars for just the pump when C1 was new.

Upgraded Pump Sold

Adapter- Molex to fan adapter

Molex adapter sold

Later today I will be putting a listing on market for those interested in parts.  I have one that run's 2 boards, was three until I decided to repaste them trying to get 4th again.

But it has set on a table waiting for me to sell my working one as I wanted it as parts.  But I will be taking pictures and a little more detail (hopefully later tonigt).
6956  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer R1 on: September 02, 2015, 10:29:05 PM
Firmware and dozens of different manufacturers plague this router field.  Who has ever bought that couple hundred dollar router only to find it connects slower than your previous one?  It's definately not an easy field to be in and not as easy as Bitmain thinks.  They better get their support staff ready.  Too many variables plague the wireless standard.
I am sure most will be buying as bridges for their antminers, this was probably in the works since they started removing wifi from their miners and kept ethernet as the only connection. I know I own bridges just for miners myself.

I think it will be just a fun toy for miners.  I'm not sure they will really buy for using as a router. I know it won't compare to my nighthawk router.  So I won't be using it as a main router.

My biggest hope is still that it runs stick miners through usb port and not just a charger there.   I think if it mined a little and could plug in stick miners it would be a nice device to fool around with.
6957  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer S6 - Not For Sale? on: September 02, 2015, 10:25:48 PM
"decided not to offer the S6"  - he did not say they did not build, but they did not offer the S6

it mean not build and not offer s6 to the market. that's the writing style of journalism.

We really don't know and likely never will.  The S5+ easily could have been called the S6. So maybe they just liked the plus since no PSU's were included.

Also I'm sure they have miners they do dev on and never make more then a few prototypes.  Could there have been a S6 prototype?  Again we will never know.
6958  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread aug 23rd to sept 5th. Picks are closed. on: September 02, 2015, 10:21:43 PM
The push is on for a 6% increase......

Oh come on!!! Everyone please just turn your miners off and go outside or smth. Don't worry, I'll be keeping the network secure Grin

That is so nice of you Smiley.   You should write some of the major companies and tell them about this offer!

I just am ready to skip a week and see the next one.  I want to know if we go back down to 2ish or if 5ish is here to stay.

Do we know this for sure?  I have not read of it even doing beta yet.

Do you have some links you can post? Please Smiley.  I'm interested in this idea if if does find a way to do it around legal files.
6960  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HW 25782 [ 0.0434% ] on: September 02, 2015, 08:58:23 AM
It is possible, that there is noting to worry about it. I think this HW-Errors (>25000 in 10h) are related to the not so propper working chain 3.

It is not the number but the percentage you should look at.  And the percentage is still very low.

You are fine.  Read how it is calculated with link above but you have no issues currently with hw errors.
