HAHAHA !! No joke this actually exists.

Quote
The anonymous coin movement has produced a variety of alt projects, including well-established alts like darkcoin and XC and newcomers such as cloakcoin and keycoin.

Yet a relatively recent entry into this increasingly crowded space brings several unusual characteristics to the table, as well as some downright bizarre branding.

Robotsexnickels (sign: RSN), which officially launched on 19th July, offers a 600-year-long mining schedule – yes, 600 years – and a month-to-month reward structure that fluctuates throughout the year.

According to the official Bitcoin Talk post:

“Robotsexnickels is a secure anonymous cryptocurrency with a primary purpose of providing slick lubrication for frisky robot jiggy-jiggy. There is a 1% premine to cover bounties and web hosting costs. No humans.”

at least you can mine for some years .. eh.. 600 years.

NSA-proofing is the last layer so that you can also be safe vs the US government surveillance.

Alex, how does one NSA proof a network?

start by not running masternodes on american hosting companies. (ie, get away from amazon).

what are other (none Amazon and outside USA) suggested servers ??

i think a lot of MN's from The Netherlands (Europe) are using Digital Ocean : https://www.digitalocean.com/pricing/

Vultr also has data-centres in Amsterdam

ah okay, didnt know that.

Earn your own DRK coins by mining at the multipool. Not only that, you can earn DRK using your old ASIC hardware on SHA256 and SCRYPT coins!

DarkCoin by xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
DRK Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into DRK. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into DRK and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the DRK payments are sent.

As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient DRK can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better.
If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired DarkCoin.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Donations welcome!

The last shift paid out 44+ DRK on all algos!

Cheers!

be carefull with your included logo.. under new bitcointalk rules this could be considered spam and might get it deleted, see here : http://www.coindesk.com/starcraft-urocoin-mining-pool-prohibition/
6985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DIG] DIGIT [X13] | The Only Pump & Dump Proof Hybrid Crypto-Currency | on: August 02, 2014, 11:29:54 AM
Has Digit development team considered changing the POW algo at least? for Neoscrypt maybe? Would that require having the coin relaunched?

What would be the benefit of changing algo again? In my opinion there is no need to change.

I've been opposed to making any changes thus far but I think we're getting close to the point where recovery for the coin will be impossible. We're almost down to 1 sat now and not many coins ever come back from that point.

I feel something has to happen and soon.

I agree. Personally i feel we arrived at a point that changing to POS should be discussed openly between the community and DSF, if necessary make a poll or something
to see how many users feel like switching to POS... i have a feeling you find a majority in favor for changing to POS at this point.
Changing the POW algo is not the answer i think, we already tried that with switching from scrypt to X13 .. we dont need another relaunch / algo switch hardfork, specially after what happened with the last one.

Also there arent many mining anyways .. just 3 people according info on the pool MineP.it

net hash : 11.15 MH/s
pool hash : 11.58 MH/s,  number of workers 3

Do we really wanna keep the POW for just 3 people still mining ? and thereby leaving the network incredibly weak ?

Can we please have a reply DSF...

Bitcoin Talk restricts mining pool posts : http://www.coindesk.com/starcraft-urocoin-mining-pool-prohibition/

“Advertising mining pools is no longer allowed, including, but not limited to, altcoin announcement threads. Mining pool OPs should make one thread within the Mining section of Alt Currencies. Do not make a separate thread for each coin. Most OPs already link to pools available so advertising your pool is unnecessary and leads to too much spam.”

The community response was mixed, ranging from enthusiasm for the ban to confusion and concern that new altcoins – and the pools that service them will be at a disadvantage. Pool operators themselves decried the move, saying that those unfamiliar with navigating Bitcoin Talk will have a hard time finding information on which pools service certain altcoins.

It should be noted that thread posters are not restricted from listing mining pools as options for users. Instead, the prohibition – which began on 31st July – focuses on pool owners who stand accused of spamming messages in a variety of threads.

Pulled another 2 MN's out of mintpal between the last few days. Hope to have them setup this weekend.

ahhh, your 10 BTC got transferred at last ? Smiley

Yep, hit around 8:00ish last night on Coinbase. The 4 day transfers are getting hella old and then another 30-60 minutes to confirm with MP.

yeah, the waiting part is the hardest..

Like I said, people's salaries are getting processes, and many European countries pay a full extra month as holiday bonus (have no clue if this happens in the US)... Its going to get so crazy soon  Grin

By the way... testnet news... huge progress today!! BIG leaps in stability and bug-fixing!! Its already better than ever!!

yeah i'm following the testing of RC4 closely, looks like with latest rc4 update they really nailed the bugs.
6990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: August 01, 2014, 08:40:24 PM
a few things thats gonna effect price in the very very nearby future :

- Kristov Atlas review of DarkSend+ : this should arrive very soon, i'm betting somewhere next week
- Release of RC4 : this should arrive within two weeks (early august 2014 was given in latest development update)

if both turns out to be positive / succesfull then i foresee a huge buy-wave coming in ..

If i were a daytrader i would start feeling nervouse by now, soo easy to get left behind when you have placed
automatic sell orders on exchanges...

some brainfood for those who's brains are feeling a bit hungry Smiley  : http://www.coindesk.com/mt-gox-ripple-founder-jed-mccaleb-unveils-project-stellar/

Stellar details :

According to WSJ, Stellar will act as a transaction gateway, enabling usability in both fiat and digital currencies.

While it’s not clear if any infrastructure is already in place, Stellar, like Ripple, will allow cross-border transactions that use digital currency as a
technological ‘middleman’ for fiat transfers.

Notably, the platform’s in-house currency, stellar, will be distributed to users for free. Supply is capped at 100 billion units, with roughly 95% of this
amount being given away.

not very smart people thought they would be smart by leaving Darkcoin and buying in on a rather hyped up coin (the coin that shall not be named here).
Unfortunetely for them they are getting kinda raped right now due to massive dumping.

you can follow it here : https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mintpal/cloakbtc

Thanks to you & sleepyx for that information! My guess is that at the of the summer the price will be there again where it belongs.

yeah, a few more weeks before RC4 comes out, then things can go really fast.
