If you have that many lazes I'd assume they don't need to be high powered because all of them combined will be low powered.. I've stared at low powered lasers as a kid no harm done Tongue
Do you have any idea how powerful 1.8 watts of concentrated laser energy is? For comparison, a cheap laser pointer will be between 3 and 5 milliwatts. 1800 milliwatts will burn on contact with a variety of materials, including skin, rubber, wood, and more.

Isn't it more accurate to use amps instead of watts? watts is a meta-measurement Tongue

I'll be allowing Open sign ups for now on(still testing the updates before I push them to the live server). Now that I feel confident enough that the system is stable and can sustain, I'll be allowing anybody to sign up and just clicking "Login to merchant panel" will allow them to be a merchant Smiley

I'd much prefer an antiarrest vest that responds in much the same way, but instead activates 100 of these in all directions:

HEY! now theres a better idea.. blind yourself the instant you turn it on to test it

FTFY. Wink
yes well, It shoots outwards so as long as your not around mirrors its should be good...

Don't laze me bro!!!

You don't need a mirror to be blinded by a reflection from a 1.8W blue laser, let alone 100 of them. Smiley

Just posted some updates.

merchants can now pay a fee to push their products to the front page. This fee changes according to supply and demand. so the more products listed on the front page the higher the cost to list the product on there. Conversely if the demand for the front page is lowered the price will lower to a floor minimum of 0.05BTC/per day.

Featured products will be randomly selected per page load and will have a fancy front page product banner dynamically generated,

^ a pottery class?

You would have to have a pretty powerful vest to prevent you from getting arrested... You can make pretty neat tasers out of disposable cameras....

Tazer vest for the win!

To elux: fixed for whats it worth: http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/product?id=17
I'm glad i have a good community to point out some subtle flaws that might make the website to appear broken when in fact its running in perfectly fine condition, I have redundant scripts to make the databases repair them selves in teh event of something happening and other redundant checks that makes things work smoothly,So i really just have to say thank you for everyone taking the time to report issues to me, it really gives hopes to such a great system.

Thank you guys!
Updates comming soon today!

When my pipboy detects an increased in heart rate and high-levels of stress patterns it can activate the AAV -- AntiArrest Vest. It is a non-lethal and discreet vest that will prevent being apprehended in the event that you are under a stressful situation that isn't in your favour. For example in the event that a military agent(country of origin doesn’t matter) feels that you should be apprehended for what ever reason, the Pip boy will detect the loudness and stressfulness of the environment and thus activate the antiarrest vest. once activated the vest is self containing and cannot be turned of with out manual override. The vest will prevent you from being apprehended from most humanoids by wrapping exposed metal wires around a rubber yet solid vest and powering on when you are touched with metal or any any human trys to grab you with a bare hand they will get zapped and shocked and thus you are immune from human contact and thus if you don't need to pull out a weapon to protect your self you can now defend your self with out getting shot and with out feeling humiliated when the policia tell you to get on your knees and all that fun stuff

718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Beta]Cheaper In Bitcoins | API and WOT integration on: July 22, 2012, 10:10:02 PM
Two new features are coming to CIB

API
*The api will allow merchants to integrate lightweight library into their website that allows them to utilize our secure shopping cart experience.
The difference between this and services like Bitpay or Mt gox merchant services is instead of redirecting your users to another page and cause a confusing experience, instead the merchant can query CheaperInbitcoins servers for shopping cart information and allow customers add items to the carts, check out, and generate an Bitcoin payment address seamlessly and safely. No more redirections.

WOT - Web of Trust
The WOT is an integration with an up and coming Web of Trust service(not yet officially announced) which is independtly owned by a different party other than me. Merchants can build up their trust ratings with their CIB customers and vice verse, WOT ratings will be displayed next to each product the merchant is selling, The best thing about WOT integration is anybody can look up the WOT ratings and verify they are in fact correct ratings if the WOT website is compromised and data is changed the signatures will be invalid conversely if the signature is valid you can be sure the ratings are valid.
