701  Economy / Economics / Re: I bought Apple stock because iPhones are garbage. on: April 30, 2023, 09:02:22 AM
Here in our country, the apple or iphone14 brand can be said to be a luxury and not user friendly. The others are just buying because they are just going along with the current trend. When it comes to performance, I still prefer to use the Samsung brand whose value is 300$ and up and Huawei. But I will never buy an iphone apart from being very expensive it is not practical for my opinion and opinion.
But for others, it is their collection because they can afford to buy it.
702  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: April 30, 2023, 08:49:10 AM
So instead of causing trouble for ourselves, we don't need to play gambling on the streets and prefer casinos that can provide a sense of security when playing gambling. There are still many casinos around us, both online and offline casinos that can be our choice in playing gambling. And we don't have to risk anything that could happen to us. And don't ever feel curious about gambling in a street casino if we have seen a risk behind it.
Since the world was hit by Covid19, almost all offline casinos and even street gambling are of course no longer used because this interaction makes the disease more contagious and many countries have stopped any activity outside the home except for activities inside the house, since then everyone has been working at home or playing gambling via the internet and online, so until now maybe people are used to playing online casino in their homes using cellphones sitting comfortably on soft sofas without having to bother dealing with people or the risk of any crime out there.

Since then until now I also don't see active street gamblers anymore, most of them and my friends who are gamblers are more comfortable gambling using their cellphones online. so why have to do things that are troublesome when there is convenience now just using a cell phone. after all, street gambling is really unsafe in my opinion
The rise of online gambling was obviously after the pandemic started back in 2020 due to Covid-19, and since then, we have seen enormous growth in the online gaming industry mainly because of its convenience as you said because people have become lazy these days and they like to get things done directly from home if possible.

So even now when all outside things including casinos are open for business, most people probably prefer sitting at their computers and gambling in an online casino platform like Stake which provides a whole lot of gambling options.

This is what I believe, and I also noticed that especially during the middle of the pandemic, online casinos became the alternative way for gambling owners, and when the pandemic was over, they became an instrument to use influencers known on social media with millions of followers and until now casinos are still rampant online today whether it's traditional or cryptocurrency.
703  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 30, 2023, 08:39:37 AM
Most of the peeps are confusing or may be associating the word gambling with money only. I think that's because everyone is in the gambling section and seeing casino's everywhere and ultimately falling for the "money" everywhere ideology. Well, gambling is gambling. You can gamble anything; from your life to your house or may be some furniture in the house, or may be your dirt bike. It's just the word that's being used in misleading way.

Now I understand that you want to publish that website to us and it's good that they have some unique ways to trade around it and hopefully it pan out to be fun site for the users.

As long as there's a risk involved and it is some kind of prediction, win or lose type of games, then I would always consider it as a form of gambling.
Sometimes even if it's not directly money as long as it have a value and it is being risk then yes it is gambling.

You are not using your money to gamble so what kind of risk are you referring to?

You should first know what the meaning of gambling is; as long as you're not risking your money for the chance of winning or getting money then it's not gambling, like I said previously it's more like a giveaway (go to games and round) and see them there.
According to me if anything that will have value and bet instead of money then it is consider as a gambling. Not only money is used for gambling nowadays, gambling can also be done with various valuable things. Moreover, even if you earn free money and gamble with that money, it is also gambling. In this regard you may have been earning money for free but it was later treated as your money. If you don't think it as your money, you might not think of it as gambling. But I would totally compare it to gambling.

Exactly. In fact we have seen this happening in the car racing games, or some bars or may be some games where peeps are used to gamble stuff associated with that game as well.
On the other hand, there is always risk. Though it's not money, we are still gambling something that carries monetary value. Definitely if we are going gamble it and lose then we lose, that's the risk. Smiley

I'm a little confused by what you said, isn't the point being made about whether it can still be called gambling if there's no money involved? but did it predict something? this is my understanding.
Help me understand what you are saying that although it is not money we are still gambling with something worth money. Please elaborate on what you said, thank you.
704  Economy / Economics / Re: using credit card on: April 29, 2023, 07:22:48 AM
You know what impresses me about the author of this topic is that he immediately got out of debt, after all it was very difficult to get out of it especially if he used a credit card.
A lot of people get into debt with credit cards, did you know that? It's rare that there are borrowers who pay the lender right away. That's why I'm impressed with what op did that he really did to find a way to get out of here right away.
705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin in 1 Minute charts on: April 29, 2023, 06:51:30 AM
Hi All,

I'm brand new here, I just wondered if many people trade Crypto in the 1 Minute time zone? what is the preferred time zone, for most traders?

Thank you

CookyTrades

Honestly, I have never tried such a timeframe of only 1 minute in conducting trading here in cryptocurrency. Sometimes I also wonder if there is anyone making money at such an interval of trading activity here in this industry.
Maybe the only people who do this are really scalpers. But if I look at it, it seems like it's hard to make money here as a trader too even the scalpers thinking will be difficult to get profit within 1 minute only.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 29, 2023, 06:42:41 AM
I do not have any investment in Doge yet but am thinking about it.

I am looking for investments that will 5-10x next bull run and looks like this is a good bet considering it's all time high is $0.70.

Many say it will go past $1 next bull run and it could well do but think I would get out around $0.70 which would be a 7x if I was to invest at todays price of $0.10.

Would be good to hear some views on this - are you for or against Doge?

This Dogecoin as long as it is supported by Elon Musk, it can be said that it has the potential to really increase, and the part that seems to be exciting here that is also mixed with nervousness somehow is how much value it can increase when Bitcoin halving arrives .
It often happens when things like this happen that the unexpected will reach such a price in the market. A doge can probably be close to 1$ each, although there is still risk investing on these meme coins.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Banks really manipulates us? on: April 25, 2023, 10:05:46 PM
If we talk literally, once we put money in the bank, we no longer have the right to control it to pull out all the money we deposited in it, especially if it is a large amount. We know that a bank demands a lot of requirements from the depositor as they are the only ones we can trust to handle the money we have.
And when they hold our money, what the bank often does is lend or lend our money to their qualified customers, which they charge a large interest. and apart from lending, they also use our money in investment that they think will have a big profit and so on. So I believe they really have the manipulation.
708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner mistakes and how to avoid them on: April 25, 2023, 09:56:25 PM
Overtrading is a big problem for newbie traders who think it is better to scalp on small volume pairs rather than chase a big trend. Sometimes it works but after paying so much commission to brokers they understand something is wrong and decide to change their trading style. If the trader has no trading plan, it becomes gambling which can lead to a burst account balance sooner or later, from my personal experience. Using trailer stops on profit zones and having pre-determined stop loss zone will save traders with experience in this field, IMO.

The use of scalping methods is not advisable for newbies, if those are long-term traders who have difficulty with this method, especially those who do not have enough knowledge of crypto trading.  The money used here will quickly disappear if this is their way of trading. It is really necessary to have a well-informed idea and knowledge so that the capital that will be used here is not wasted.
709  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 24, 2023, 03:59:53 PM
Actually trying a new casino on this forum is not a big risk as long as you don't provide any KYC data and try a new casino using a small amount.
So we can find out for ourselves how the casino is running without having to wait for other people's experiences.
I myself am also too lazy to try the new casinos on this forum, whereas here there are many big casinos that can
become a safer place to gamble.[/left]
The most valuable advise is to only try a new casino with smaller amount to see. How their platform works before risking a higher amount in deposit, let say if the casino has an ANN thread here in the forum it could serve as additional security for players since they could contact the team directly or better still read the reviews of other members of the forum to learn more about the casino and how to. Solve some of the little issues that may arise from the activities of the player in the casino.

What you suggest for me is a safe and good advice for newbie gamblers who will enter or enter the gambling industry here in the crypto space.
So that they will not be surprised by what they will try to gamble here. At least they can minimize how much they lose in their gambling somehow. In short I like your advise on this matter anyway.
710  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: April 24, 2023, 03:50:29 PM
There's basically no other thing that can make influence winning or losing a bet in a casino game, if one thinks that their betting style or pattern can make a difference, they are absolutely wrong and it's nothing more than a myth.
I don't agree with you on this one presentation because there is one factor that influences the wins and losses of gamblers in a casino game, namely the luck factor.
If you don't believe in the luck factor, then play in whatever way you believe, I'll make sure you keep losing.
But betting styles and patterns are also useful because they can minimize the number of losses that gamblers get when they lose.
It's just that for a win I'm sure luck really supports this victory.

There is truth in what you said that winning gambling is all about luck, this is true and I totally agree. No matter how well you strategize in gambling, if you are unlucky in the game, you will be really unlucky and you will not win, but if you suddenly get lucky, no matter what game you choose, for sure you will win and you will still win in gambling and you will go home with a pocket that you

Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?
It is not gambling for me since you didn't risk anything valuable. You can predict for free similar to a bonus. You have nothing to lose here so it's not gambling.

But it's also not easy to win this prediction since you have to guess correctly the score of 6 soccer matches. If you're already a gambler, you might be tempted to play with real money to see your chances. I think this is just a strategy to lure the gamblers to play on the casino.

Of course, how can it be considered a gamble if there is no money involved if all you do is guess. Also, I honestly couldn't get it when the author wanted to point to it.
But even so, maybe the author's theme is to possibly give more encouragement to other communities to play in a casino gambling here in cryptocurrency.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: April 23, 2023, 01:14:15 PM
Here I will say that this is just a bit of reality based on what I have seen from my relatives, They retired after completing 60yrs of service in the government, let's say that they will get a large retirement pay, and let's say that they will set up a business and house depending on the payment to be received in retirement. I think they will not be able to enjoy whatever business or property they buy because they are old. But anyway, of course it's their choice and we have no rights to say that their decision is wrong.
713  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: April 23, 2023, 01:01:23 PM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you

If the matter is a guess, that cannot be called gambling, or it depends on the belief of a gambler, maybe if the gambler believes in gambling, it can be said that it is still gambling.  But even so, it is difficult to know if you will win gambling,  in short unpredictable whether you will
be lucky or not the day you gamble in a casino here in cryptocurrency. Then I didn't trip those Superpicks to gamble.

715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 18, 2023, 12:13:50 AM
This just occurred to me now, why do we still say "Gamble Responsibly" if our every winning in gambling is always dependent on luck? Because, most people also know that the banker always wins in every casino, why use skills if it is manipulated by the house edge, right?
But most gamblers who enter the crypto gambling business don't really notice this. They don't care, even though most are unaware that all cryptocurrency casinos are programmed to take their players' gambling money.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: April 18, 2023, 12:02:10 AM
I see a lot of potential in altcoins right now to be honest, especially the top listed ones in the market like Bnb, matic, Arb, and others like that. I don't know why others in this industry are asking this question.
Also, if altcoins are dead, why are there altcoins popping up for new projects every day? In addition to this, many altcoins are also listed on centralized and decentralized exchanges that do trading activity? So that means most altcoins are very much alive in these times.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 16, 2023, 10:24:31 AM
Op did this maybe because of his observation during the times when he often played slot games in a casino so he said these things on the subject he did. But of course, we know that most gambling wins here are based on luck or house edge if we want to win. That's why it's good that we enjoy playing gambling here so that no one will regret it in the end if we lose. Also, I often lose in slot games so I'm used to it hehe...
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: April 16, 2023, 09:57:17 AM
I am aware that DCA is better in a coin you know will last somehow long depending on how long you have to DCA.
DCA is the only means that is easy for me to buy coins. Which altcoin can you recommend for me to start DCAing till  halving when the bull run is expected.
I am afraid , that before bull run such coin might have problems. I don't want coins above $100, so that it will be possible to run on good profits if the investment works.

When it comes to DCA, everyone here knows that it is a good tool to use in Bitcoin until the bull run comes. And we also have what we believe are other altcoins that we also see potential in the future. For example, one of the things I do with DCA besides bitcoin is the Matic, Shiba Inu, bonk, bone, and other meme coins although I know there is a risk but it's fine with me and I'm ready to lose or lose because the I wonder what if the price kicks in when the bull run comes? But these coins that I mentioned are the budget that I really set aside for them.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 16, 2023, 09:45:48 AM
For any person, when the big money you used in a business that you expected to double or more profit on your capital or investment goes to nothing, you will feel depressed or softened of course.
But anyway, although it's not easy to accept but we have to overcome that, for sure there are still many opportunities for us to correct and fix the things that are wrong. Now, if you invest again, and you see bitcoin I think at this point you are definitely going to hold bitcoin in the future.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 15, 2023, 09:24:34 PM
I don’t think anybody plans to stay poor, it’s just that being rich is not an option for most people & almost impossible for some. There are exceptions to the rule sure but most people simply do not have a way to be rich.
Luckily for those of us here on this forum we are at least aware of cryptocurrency & the massive positives it can bring us. Cryptocurrencies are a great way for the average guy of little means to make money.

There are many ways for a person to become rich, the only problem is that they are afraid to try or they don't have confidence in themselves that they can do it. And there are others who are just plain lazy. In short, it's up to them to make that decision.
But if you are a strategic person and you are determined to get out of poverty, you will do everything and you will be patient from the beginning if you know that something can help you get out of life. Just like this cryptocurrency or bitcoin that can be a way or instrument for anyone to make money.
