Thanks for the lead. However, the topic on your link is about being able to connect to a server via the public/exterior address of a DD-WRT router from within the same LAN, I think. I assume that's what "hairpin roiuting" means; a 180° turn right back to the same LAN. It's not what I am after. I would be at home in such a scenario and wouldn't be needing a mobile wallet to transact; I'd just fire up a GUI Wallet on one of my PCs. What I need is to finally be able to transact while out and about and on the go (outside of my LAN) with unfortunately the only viable XMR mobile wallet app so far (Monerujo) without having to use public nodes (moneroworld, etc.) but my own private node running at home through the public/external IP address of my DD-WRT router. So far, no success in spite of doing it by the book and also trying different sets of port forwarding parameters (good o'l trial & error bit), hoping I would hit one of them and finally able to connect. It is not big distance to get ETH there in four digits to find new floor now. The time seems to have come now for this.

It will definitely go back up with btc as usual, money goes to BCH almost all sucking alts and this one, it goes down also because of the recent news which is not that good I guess. But I think that it will go back up in a couple of days, and this is definitely a good time to buy.
Or it will back to "before hardfork" level, since it was pumped by market manipulators. Will see. I don't think you want to compare BCH with how BTC was back in 2014. After MtGox, BTC experienced quite the bear market for the rest of 2014 and much of 2015. However, fortunately for BCH, the markets are a bit more decentralized than what Bitcoin was back in early 2014.
While 2014 was a disappointment for BTC in the marketplace, there was a huge amount of activity in investment, new companies being launched, new tools, and general ecosystem expansion. In last two weeks of this year Doge looks very healthy and good at its current market position. There was some kind of retrace in some markets but Doge went through some small correction and saw few people taking profit. We can see anything once we are there in new year to see how good that becomes for Doge and its holders.
Actually the past few weeks doge as made its climb up nothing big but steady you right in the new year anything can happen and I'm expecting lift off why am i still mining this dogshit??  anyone? doge is going back to 100 or more i think dude i got in at 133 and save my hacker friend swore it was "to the moon" ...pfft last time i'm playing crptyos :\ meh boo doge died \\\\grrrr woof |

Some interesting points in that article, but unfortunately all are debatable at best.. The author missed one huge point though: DOGE is no longer developed. In order for it to start gaining real value, it does need an active team behind it. Well, fact is that an already perfect coin doesn't need a team nor new features to be added as it's optimal as it is Completely agree - has much more scalability than bitcoin 10x out of the box.
