701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the trusted list of bitcoin wallet and site? on: September 03, 2016, 07:26:40 AM
If you talk about safest wallet then I would suggest you papet wallet. Else you can go for blockchain.info it's official and trusted they can alter your coin. Although coinbase is also good according to my experience. When we have officiall version wallet along with smartphone app then why should we opt for 3rd party long list of wallet
Yes, paper wallets are safest but it is one way to add an extra layer of security over your bitcoin but in offline way. In my opinion hardware wallets are best for storing large amounts of bitcoin as you will be able to get back to online anytime you prefer just for a requirements like signing a message from them.

Does the blockchain ultimately have more potential? Lips sealed Lips sealed Lips sealed
I believe so. Banks and other companies have already tried to recreate the blockchain, all without success in my opinion.
Why else would banks be trying to copy it? It is useful and banks are scared they are going to fall behind on money transactions and they should be.
703  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: August 27, 2016, 07:44:29 AM
I am using bitcoin in poloniex to buy and sell coins alt, then when it was my profit partly widraw and so I use again in poloniex
While not trading that time I am using bitcoin to recharge my mobile, paying bills sometimes purchasing through online with trusted traders.
While trading I always using localbitcoins to exchange into fiat.
I hardly ever turn bitcoins to fiat because I have a lot of uses for bitcoins. For example we can bet with bitcoins while with fiat its almost impossible because of the high fees on withdraw and deposits. I also use bitcoins to recharge mobile and DTH services hence never feel the need to hange to fiat.
704  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 20, 2016, 01:49:15 PM
Bitcoin it's a money, I would accept btc as my salary with pleasure, why not

Funny...  Cheesy Are you really thinking that you could just keep your salary after receiving it? or it's just fine for you that the value of money keeps on changing when you convert it to fiat... It will be convenient to accept bitcoin if you could use it as it is regularly...

Double benefit - it's a salary and a lottery - maybe once I get my btc price will suddenly rise?  Grin
I would not compare Bitcoin to a lottery, it's a risky investment, but you would never be losing everything.
Getting paid in Bitcoin is also pretty easy thanks to Bitwage, but I'm sure that has been mentioned already, but I'll post the link anyway.

https://www.bitwage.com/

Bitwage has gotten quite the reputation already, even if it just started. With this service, I am highly believing that receiving salary with bitcoins would not be as risky anymore.
705  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: August 14, 2016, 07:09:45 AM
Well what is happening for this year with bitcoin is going to happen again for next year. If the price today is not that still high for you for sure it is going to increase in 2017. And that is just going to happen again, it is already a cycle that is why we just need to keep on using it and wait for other good things to happen.
KimDotCom just indirectly announced his interest in integrating bitcoin into his business MEGA which would surely leave an impact and will most probably up the value of bitcoin dramatically. Well, at least I hope so.

Good question.  Cheesy

I think I will pass with that. I cannot imagine having a salary using bitcoin. It might be a disaster to the employer and employees.
I guess you must be from third world countries. Only in those countries where you people do not have the sufficient opportunities to get an spend bitcoins, you might thinking using bitcoin payments as a disaster. Because many people around the world are eagerly waiting to get their salary in bitcoin as they are having many opportunity to "use" it for their daily life
He might be right. When you do not have enough merchants to spend your bitcoins then getting salary in bitcoins must be a disaster. The vice versa is also true when your employer does not have enough options to buy bitcoin. We have heard, in many countries buying bitcoins is still a headache task.
708  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: July 13, 2016, 08:19:35 AM
I am holding for long time for this day which is today of halving of Bitcoin. I hope it was good decision as there are few more blocks this happens. I am expecting huge increase after what we will see accumulation and correction. I have plan to sell and then re buy later at some point. This is what I am doing right now is waiting of halving.
Holding is a nice idea and do not worry if price does not increase much, because see price will soon increase even though it might take a month or two. I am ready to hold for decades, so I never worry on short term fluctuations. My long term target is million dollars per one bitcoin. I believe I am doing the right thing with my bitcoins.
709  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: July 13, 2016, 08:06:08 AM
The increased price along with the high growing potential which no other currency has got is the attractive feature of bitcoin. When anonymity too gets combined with it the outcome seems to be something unique.
Yeah absolutely Smiley . I think the best part with bitcoins is that we can send to 100's of people at the same time without even paying any extra fees.  I had problems in bulk paying with paypal many times. Now I have all the freedom. Moreover we can sign messages to prove ownership.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 08, 2016, 01:35:40 PM
Fun in first place, earning is like a bonus when I win. Fun is cause I love to play poker, Caribbean poker and other casino games, I even like dices sometimes. Sports betting is also good, to watch game and if my prediction is good I earn some money on that.
I would like to have more money, then fun in gambling is bigger, simply cause its more interesting when I can change betts.

Well, I guess all the people who are here mostly to gamble just for fun, but sometimes they also take advantage of bonuses are given in gambling, such as contests or things like that to make a profit. but most likely they are playing for fun, as well as me.
I hate bonus on most of the sites, what they give on nae of bonus is : block even your initial amount of deposit and then ask you to wager like 50 times, which is mathematically impossible.
711  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: July 04, 2016, 12:06:25 PM
I used bitcoin mainly as an investment, its more profitable than investing in dollars and i can do the transansaction easily
And as i used it for a longer time there are so many shop accepting bitcoin so i also used it as a payment, so in other words i used it for currency and as investment
I use bitcoins as both currency and investment. Bitcoins are more preferable as investment these days because it is
still in it's initial stage. The value of bitcoin is unstable and huge profit can be generated if we invest into bitcoins now.
My idea is today's investment into bitcoin will get us more chances (and more wealth) to use bitcoin as a currency in future.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 05:45:29 AM
Maybe give them some small amount of bitcoins and ask them to gamble with it. Once they love gambling, we can tell them faucets, signature and other places where they can earn bitcoins.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: June 27, 2016, 07:11:08 AM
Confirmation time

That is the problem with majority of us, but I think it will be resolved in future by the core development team, apart from that I don't see any problem with bitcoin.
Moreover you can send the funds ( I use blockchain and I can spend unconfirmed txn ) even when its unconfirmed, so not really a issue to be worried about, though yes we all hate it.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: June 27, 2016, 07:00:11 AM
What you can do is tell someone you trust to change your password for all your coins, so you cant access them. I think there is a function to lock your coins for a particular amount of time yourself  but I dont know how to use that yet. If you are still robbing people and stuff to get your fix of gambling, then we would be talking about a serious problem.
Better than that would be invest into gambling sites itself and there is a lock period like in moneypot where you can lock the money from divesting it for a certain time period.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: June 27, 2016, 06:44:34 AM
Would you, if asked, personally consider Bitcoin anonymous enough for your needs? Does it lack privacy features? Would you consider Bitcoin anonymous, semi-anonymous or transparent?

Do you want an anonymous crypto currency?

I think bitcoin anonymous enough for me, because I am dealing with bitcoin without being able to be tracked. But you have to use it addreas bitcoin only one of each transaction to keep your anonymous. Thank you

There is much more to bitcoin anonymity, than just changing addresses. But using one address for each transactions is a good start.
It is also good when you have to receive money from multiple people because then you can trace who paid how much and when. Moreover very good for people who offer services.
716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will reach $4000 after halving ? on: June 24, 2016, 12:00:38 PM
Lol how could you think the bitcoin price will rise up that high after a halving. Halvings have nothing to do with the price of the bitcoin as you need to know.
Dont you now that the halving hype is the reason people are trying to do a panic buy?
http://blog.holytransaction.com/2016/06/5-reasons-bitcoin-price-is-rising.html

Halving has a very influential effect on the price of bitcoin. If halving wont happen anytime this year I bet the price is so stable.
I must admit you are right masses are having a heart attack when they see some volatility with bitcoin price.
And it isn't good to just adjust everytime you see some changes like buy and sell, it could be a tedious work however profitable.
717  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet on: June 24, 2016, 11:40:28 AM
i think safest wallet is depends to people using it because i use different type of wallet like xapo i use it to when i claiming on faucets because if where using xapo it will go directly to the wallet and for withdrawing my btc i use coins.ph because it is the mose reliable wallet provider in my country where i can cashout my bitcoins in banks or remmitance center here.
I always use desktop wallet, but I am in search of online wallet as I do not carry my lap top in my official trips. I'd like to try coinbase it is secure I heard from people I've known.
Any suggestions on best mobile wallet with latest security protections?.
718  Economy / Gambling / Re: Should PrimeDice start to allow gambling with other cryptocurrencies? on: June 16, 2016, 08:06:32 PM
The only other crypto we'd consider is Ethereum, and we've certainly discussed adding it. This isn't in the pipeline at this moment but it's on our mind. Right now our focus is finalizing and releasing the new version of the site which is in testing.
WOW that is what actually make me love primedice because you guys even though running the most popular bitcoin dice site still are encouraged to make new versions. Anyways my vote is yes add ethereum please.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with the Price Changes? on: May 31, 2016, 06:20:48 AM
Price changes does not influence gambling at all, reason being the gamblers are addicted and rush for more money so if the price increase they bet accordingly higher and when it gets low they bet lower.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 09:52:12 PM
You see that gambling and Bitcoin are now working well together and that is also because the Bitcoin is becoming more worth and more acceptable and it is also digital money.
And the online gambling is also becoming more popular so that is perfect for the currency.
As bitcoin is a digital currency, and online gambling are becoming part of every common people's lifestyle, both the working perfectly together to ease and boost each other's growth.
Yes, electronic mode of entertainment and need of electronic cash system for entertainment are the reasons behind the successful combination of bitcoins and gambling sites. I believe this will grow more and also into another successful heights.
But gambling done online could even make the Government seize the coins we have in the wallet (even though bitcoin is not illegal). ambling should only be done by those whose countries don't object it or consider it illegal but I can see users not caring about this law.
