Gread job! Dev. A question is why there are only 280 people, it should be close to 500 stakeholders, isn't it? Or maybe I misunderstand ? Maybe only to active members I'm still confused by this: are there 1000 unique shareholders or 500? I keep getting linked to a poll in which the results say 500 won, but then the dev posts things like this. Can we just get a definitive number on the unique shareholders, please? Vote on mintpal everyday things seem went smoothly.  10-20 votes on mintpal a day keeps the doctor away... lol  I think we can do more, how about 60-80 votes a day. Why should someone run the wallet if there is no more coins to mine? Who will secure the network?
You need own 51% coin to attack. How is the "mining" working? What determinates who mines the next block? It's not important. The important thing is how many coins you have in your wallet. More you have , more you will gain. For instance, COMM has 30% interest for the first year, so you will get ~850 COMM per day if you have 100mil COMM in your wallet. |

We should all say fuck minpal and concentrate on poloniex, they are not a bad exchange.
Let's not keep mintpal out of the equation. Only reason is a lot of traders uses it, even if some of us stop trading at mintpal it is still a good market to provide volume to a coin. I'd really like to see a new site design a some games. If we could make a poker game for faircoin this could be big, i did not find any coin having a poker software or site yet. +1 |

Hi,
I understand your frustration, however there has 100% been bot activity providing the vast majority of the votes for the coin. For example - three users have created around 35 accounts between them, deposited a tiny amount of DGB and made a single trade, who each vote systematically 5x per hour 24hrs a day.
We will not being going back on the decision to suspend FAC for 24 hours. We will bring it back after this time period with 20% of the free votes in tact and keeping 100% of the BTC payment votes.
I'm afraid there was nothing we could do as other coins have been voting fairly, you should be directing your anger at the people who set up the bots and tried to cheat the system.

No, we direct our anger at an idiot who allows such a flaw to exist in their website. What did the backend for this website run you 50 grand? Yet people can make 50 accounts deposit 10 dgb and bot vote.. Mintpal owned by a 16 year old? Update your system, limit accounts per IP, allow 1 vote per BTC in a users account, etc. Problem solved. Take it easy.. The true reason making MintPal angry is NOT the unfairness of using bot-voting, but the fact they will earn less money! Buy votes: YES! Otherwise: NO! It's their logic. |

Here's what I am suggesting to the Mintpal devs;
Your security protocols need major improvements. Why are you allowing registration with pro-spam email domains such as 10minutemail.com?
You should only allow domains which require comprehensive verification (i.e. referer, phone/text verification, e.g. Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo).
I would highly recommend stripping ONLY the bot votes (i.e not sent from a verified domain, not a fixed IP location) and only allowing ONE account / IP address (which you failed to implement).
Destroying a coin's reputation for its bot voters is completely unacceptable.
And there is still another possibility that the FairCoin haters will use bot to 'HELP' us. |

MintPal would still be very great for Q2C. I hope, we will hit that exchange on monday. I don't know, when Bter will add the next coin to their market. The last coin was CounterParty (XCP) on 17th March. (See https://twitter.com/btercom) It looks like they are adding coins every few days. Maybe we'll have also a good chance to be added to Bter. As I know, the new coin will be added to the "new coin observing region". If there is no further trade, the coin will be removed. |

They didn't provide any proof that we used bots. It's logical that our sheer number and dedicated effort might look strange, but it doesn't mean that there aren't humans behind the votes. They just took down the coin, and what happens to all the money we put into this? Somebody getting a refund? I didn't think so.
So feel free to paste this message into your mail client and blast MintPal with it. Maybe if they felt what it's like to have the FairCoin community storm a goal, they will understand we're legit.

I don't understand how it is possible that you've removed Fair-Coin from the vote list. We are a very large and dedicated community acting together to get the coin into the exchange, voting legitimately every hour, with friends from all over the world.
Moreover, we have donated real BTC for our cause, and now you claim we are using bots? We are thousands of FairCoin users. That is the idea behind the coin. I don't know what might register as bots in your books, because our number and passion might look strange compared to other coins. But check out our community and you will learn we are all real people.
I will be suspending my MintPal activity for the near future until we are provided with evidence that bots were used, or the state of our coin restored in the vote system. We are a community with a coin, not a scam.
