701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New PinkCoin (PINK) Moderated Thread | PoS | Fundraiser | Anonymous on: January 09, 2015, 06:46:04 AM
I know its been awhile since Pink.wars has been used/discussed, but I had a balance of PINK still on the site when it was taken down for maintenance and it's not letting me log in to withdraw them. The user name and password request options are not working either.

Any updates? How do I withdraw my coins at this point?

Thanks.

How many coins?

Like 100k or something. Nothing I couldn't lose, but would like to retrieve them.

We still have all balances and accounts, but the system has been locked up. If you want to provide me with a Pink address, or send me a message on Twitter I will get you your coins.

Wow that's great, I got rained on! Haha... this coin is fun. Can't wait to see what the dev has up his sleeve whenever it is ready. Smiley

...

We've added to the forest. The #1 wallet is now a cloud to compliment the elder tree. It will randomly choose another staking wallet and rain all of its stakes on that wallet for an hour.

The Elder Tree and Rain Cloud are now automated and will go out immediately upon them staking. So keep your seed wallet open and staking, and you will get both seeds from the elder tree, and some rain to help your forest grow.

ps. To automate these we had to create a pool for the transactions to come out of, so the coins you get will not come directly from the appropriate wallets. The appropriate wallets will make transfers every now and then to keep the pool full.

thats just awesome  Cool

Here's a simple output for the rain cloud. It shows which addresses got rained on and when.

707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEED] SeedCoin | New Road Map on: December 09, 2014, 01:51:15 AM
That reminds me, we forgot to send out the forest yesterday.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/seed/tx.dws?222026.htm

At the current price, the forest distributed 0.180894014BTC worth of Seed. With the top 20 wallets in the distribution getting ~0.004BTC worth each.
Everyone and their uncle should be buying enough seed to stake. It's easy to see the value in buying enough seed to at least stake to take part in the forest.  It's even easier to see the value in not selling your Seeds.

There are coins for trading, coins for tipping, merchandising, gaming... there are few coins like seed that you want to simply hold and stake.

Even if you staked once and/or frequently enough to remain in that list, you have the potential to receive SEED 😃 It's not hard, and adds value.

!!!STILL NOT SELLING!!!
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEED] SeedCoin | New Road Map on: December 08, 2014, 07:39:53 PM
You are all going to be millonaires with SEED, including, of course, Fayoling and his PINK minions/scammers. I will be wrong in the end, no question... err, maybe with a bit of a question....

Just not on this Earth or in this lifetime.

But hey, I never though it would trade even 500 coins above 3k, so I was wrong. May as well be wrong and it will trade above 100k, right? Hehe...

Because we all have been screaming that seed was going to make us rich.  You seriously need help man. I honestly feel bad for you. . .

In his head, yes he hears echoes of people screaming. If he concentrates he can make them say anything he wants.

@dev, are you still planing relase usb key wallet and android wallet as announced in road map?

+1. This is very good idea. It would be nice to see it.

Yep. But still no response from dev....

Devs only usually around on the weekend check tomorrow or Sunday he'll probably answer

Still no response from dev???  Huh

I dont care if the dev responds as long as whoever is buying keeps buying.

I agree completely. The dev still seems to check bitcointalk quite frequently. He prob just has nothing good to say, or to update us with so he's keeping quiet. This community has some good devs throughout it, and it has proven to be a good staking coin. So even if this dev did flake, the coin would not die. Buy/Hold/Stake.

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New PinkCoin (PINK) Moderated Thread | PoS | Fundraiser | Anonymous on: November 26, 2014, 01:18:16 AM
Where is the pinkcoin millionaire hangout? I didn't receive any information about it (or I accidentally deleted the email, which is also possible).

Regarding ideas I've recently been thinking about when I was a teenager and we used to get into fads like trading card games or pogs and I can't help but think that crypto alts could easily be the next big teenage fad, if it is marketed right. Apps like casheer I think will be very popular with schoolkids, since they can trade cryptos just like we used to trade cards, but through a social mobile phone platform. With the success of Bitcoin billionaire I'm wondering if pinkcoin could capitalise on these successes and its own friendly youthful image and create a pinkcoin mobile app that has a game/trading element to it, where schoolkids would want to collect pinkcoins and get more than their friends have. Just a very rough idea at the moment, and I'm not exactly sure how this could be achieved, but hey, its all brainstorming right??

Send me a pm, and I will look into your registration and get you an invite to the hangout. I like your "rough idea", it all starts by planting a seed. CountofMonteCrypto is currently travelling down the road of mobile apps, so your timing is bang on.

Well Anoxxy just joined the millionaires hangout where most of the brainstorming goes on for pink now. He seems to be a very talented programmer and its refreshing to see his attitude of what can I do to help. It would be nice to see some other community members adopt the same philosophy. I agree with Pinker in getting Pinkcoin to go mobile has been long overdue. Got crypto great idea for remittance of Pinkcoin to the NBCF will contact them to see if we can get some PR going there. Cammo yes things are in the works with me but I unfortunately don't have a timeline but the community will be the first to know when concrete details come in.

I was excited to join the million club and registered but so far I have had no welcome email with the further instructions.  Think it has been a week now.  Did I miss a step or fall through the cracks?

As far a promo goes all we really need to do is continue this tipping trend.  Our tip is better due to the nature of our coin in my opinion, not only do we have the tip but all the other means of sending a tip as well of which some goes to charity.  I try to include a ticket with all great tweets I respond to or read.  Join me!

Welcome to the millionaire club,

We don't currently have automated emails setup through the millionaire site. We will get you into the millionaire hangout shortly, as you seem to be lighting a fire back under Pinkcoin. For this, I thank you.

I like the ideas you have for the 50/50, and marketing in general. I look forward to conversing and implementing them in the future. This leads me into the other remarks in the thread about development. Given a new moderated thread, there is not much information.

One of the problems we ran into on the Pinkcoin systems was scope creep. Every system started out as one thing and quickly got built upon. Essentially, the infrastructure and foundation was too small for what needs to built. It had gotten to the point, that just adding the 50/50 to the lottery took about 3x as long as it should have due to all the tweaking. And because all the tweaking, where we may change something to get the 50/50 working, it would cause a bug in the rock, paper, scissors game. The same goes for our crypto.pink and essentially everything we've developed.

Nothing is really connected, and everything has reach it's max capacity.

So we have essentially started back on the ground level. We are completely redoing our infrastructure, one that has very few limits as to what can be done with. We will be linking every tool built for Pinkcoin through wallet.pink. You will, from this one location be able to see where all your coins are, easily send back and forth between systems. You will be able to buy Pinkcoin here with other currencies; similar to the Twitter bot. A perfect example of the current foundation not being big enough. We already have an exchange on Twitter, but it is useless elsewhere. So we had to build another exchange. This is where exchange.pink comes in.

Exchange.pink will be the engine that will allow us to then integrate all kinds of 3rd party systems like Twitter into our exchange, rather than build an individual exchange on each. This same engine will be accessed and mostly used via wallet.pink. Here is an image of that engine as it looks currently.

It is a big system, and it will still take some time, but once it's complete, everything will pretty much be plug and play.

Thanks a lot for the update! I understand that you might see those calls for you to be here all the time pretty annoying, but you spoiled people with your enthusiasm in the beginning and when you are not here answering now, it is also understandably viewed as if something is wrong. Smiley Anyway, it is good to know what are you working on now!

I know I am not in here as much as I once was. The Barbie drama had me remove checking the thread regularly from my schedule. I will do my best to get back into the rhythm of using the thread again. Just need to get back in the BCT rhythm.

Can somebody explain?

The #3 wallet in the rich list (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/seed/#!rich) is a permanent forest. 100% of what it stakes gets distributed randomly between other staking wallets.

What is the point of putting a buy wall at 10sats? What is the objective? Again - what development is currently going on (if any)?

There are developments happening, Thank you Spock for re-posting my latest update.

The 10SATs was just a number used in the examples. The buy wall is new and relies on people using the systems. It will begin at 1 SAT, it is not a short term plan to push the price up, it is a longterm plan to support the coin. Our poker system in it's first couple weeks made over 1,000,000 PINK in rake. Had the buy wall been in place at that time, poker alone would've been adding a Bitcoin or more to the wall a week.

In other words, the buy wall at 1 SATs will forever climb the buy books. The more people using Pinkcoin, the higher the buy wall can climb.

tl:dr;
Use the tools we create, and the value of the coin will be supported.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New PinkCoin (PINK) Moderated Thread | PoS | Fundraiser | Anonymous on: November 13, 2014, 07:03:49 PM
Curious as to what happened to the 50/50 bot, is it going to continue?  I noticed the website is outdated saying this feature is only for October.  Last time I bought some of these it looked like it was a continuation of the October run according to the number sequence.   Great idea behind the buy wall how will the buy wall work?

Staking coins for a week now with no payouts, wallet open 24/7.  Get within 15 mins of a payout though!  lol

Any thoughts?...

Good eye, we fixed the number sequence on the 50/50 for the bot, but I completely forgot to update the website. I will do that right now, thank you.

As for the buy wall, there is not "set in stone" function behind it as of right now.
 - we are going to potentially automate it so it can catch all the coins that are currently on the exchange. For example, if there are 100,000,000 Pinkcoin on the exchange, the buy wall would need 10BTC to hold at 10 SATs, 100BTC at 100SATs etc. If someone were to send 20,000,000 coins to the exchange, the buy wall would move down to a price where it can catch 120,000,000 coins.

 - a buy wall that can catch a said % of the coin. Let's just say it is designed to catch 100% of the coins, it would need 36.4BTC support to hold at 10 SATs. 50% of the coins, it would need 18.2BTC to hold at 10 SATs etc...

We are not sure yet which option is the best, most effective, and most efficient. All I know is that by using the tools created for Pinkcoin, you are not only marketing, you are also adding liquidity and helping with buy support indirectly.

717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEED] SeedCoin | New Road Map on: November 05, 2014, 07:03:39 PM
Don't listen to the Barbie drama, the PINK team has not dumped their coins. In fact most of us have been taking advantage of the low price and buying more.

The radio silence is simply because we are working on some big ass projects. After the poker debacle, we were encouraged to go back to our inital idea of Pay With Pink. This entails a new online wallet, a pinkcoin exchange, and a bunch of other features all bundled up into one big system that will all be released at the same time.

Barbie is just upset because his FUD resulted in Pinkcoin creating a moderated thread. Much like he has been doing here on Seedcoin.

Hehe...  These scammers, as everyone can clearly see for themselves (the wallets addresses are all there) have been selling off-market for months (and they are convinced it is OK to do so, so count on it continuing happening). They have been selling software also, and pocketing the cash. And, as clearly exposed, dumping in the MILLIONS.

And no, they are not buying any PINK, that's why the price is stagnant and going much lower in no volume. That project is done for there's nothing this guys can add to what they have done so far, including that poker debacle. And the SEED debacle. And the charity debacle...

As for the moderated thread, it is the refuge of the nazis, like everyone knows. No one that has nothing to hide hides in a self-moderated thread. But for me? a very nice rest from the utter nonsense and bullshit the dumpers/scammers post there.

You guys are bad people, toxic waste in crypto. And need to get out. or forced out.

But you can hide for now in your self-moderated thread that interest people just as much as your now joke of a coin. You are doing GREAAAT!

It's much better for innovation to have moderated threads. It takes a lot of energy to respond to the same fud posts over and over in new and different ways.

Just delete and move on and get some work done. You fudders are huge energy wasters.

The seed dev should do the same. At least he has the good sense not to respond.

Of course your next post is "why isn't the dev responding?" Answer: you trolls are a repetitive joke.

Few questions.

Does the wallet need to run 24/7 to stake?

How come the estimated time is waaay off?  22 mins for like a day now, network weight of 1.2 million.

New wallet seems to struggle to stake, I just upgraded from old one.

Any help would be appreciated.

You don't need to run it 24/7, however it will stake most if you do. If you only run it a couple hours every few days, it will catch up on all your missed stakes. However, had it been running that whole time, those "missed stakes" would have been aging and staking themselves. It is not really a noticeable difference, but it is a difference.

Estimated time does that on most PoS coins, I unfortunately do not have the answer to it.

New wallet stakes fine, it is a little slower and heavier on your computers resources as there is a lot going on in there.

Sumgye has been talking a lot lately of giving that wallet a once over, cleaning it up and getting it back to optimal performance. So hopefully we will have another new wallet coming soon Smiley

Cryptzo, good stuff man. Can't wait to hear more about this wallet BETA release. pm me your address I'll send you 50,000 SEED to put towards contests.

I've also talked to a bunch of people, and the general consensus with the elder tree/top wallet, is that it needs to be trimmed as it is far too large for new investors etc... Even with the seeds falling weekly.

So I think we are going to permanently dedicate 300,000 SEEDs as the elder tree. I will send them to you, and you can throw away the key.

Thoughts?
It's better to burn them than trust someone to throw away the key.

Just send them to this address: sXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXVpr7nX

Once they go there they will never come back.
Can't burn them as they still need to stake in order to continue the weekly distribution. I think the permanent faucet aspect is too good to just burn. I mean, you can buy and start staking 1 Seed today, and by Sunday, you could have 30+ in your wallet.

Okay. I misunderstood what you meant by "throw away the key".

But if you guys want to get cryptographic, decentralized, and automated instead of non-cryptographic, centralized, and manual, I have an idea.

Create a burn address that is hardcoded into the wallet. Something like sXXXXXXXseedcoinfaucetXXXXXXTBEEoq. Then have the blockchain pick a new address randomly from all known to the chain and give seed to it proportional to the addresses's age in the block chain. The blockchain could distribute proportional to the amount in the faucet.

Since seed is pure PoS, the 0 transaction slot of each block is free for this new kind of coinbase.

It would be a first of a kind. Barabaras would call it a gimmick, but it would have the effect of spreading the wealth without relying on a script in someone's computer. Also, it would be completely voluntary.

If that went in, I'd throw a chunk of my holdings at it. By no means 90%, but a nontrivial amount.

"SeedCoin: World's First Decentralized Faucet"

Right on, these are the things I live for Smiley

We are for the most part only web devs, so it's awesome that you know how to get this concept into the wallets. I say we make this happen. Cryptzo, you down?
