701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: November 21, 2015, 11:17:48 PM
I was implying that your/Dooglus' story about "the digger" sounds just as made up as Polo's. lol

I don't have a story about "the digger". Digging is happening, provably so. I pointed it out.

If I/we were to clone the original CLAM client and move the snapshot back 1 year, how many coins will you, I mean Dooglus, I mean BayAreaCoins lose ?

Ignoring the fact that if you were to make a clone of CLAM not a single fuck would be given, and not a single CLAM lost, if the snapshot had happened in May 2013 instead of in May 2014, that would have been about a month before Just-Dice first launched. I would probably have had something like 5 funded addresses instead of the ~30 I had in May 2014. So I would lose 25*4.6 = 115 CLAMs.

Are you suggesting that Creative, BAC, and I are all the same person? Do you know how silly that makes you look?

Who is Creative ? (slip up on the dev's alt name ??)

Who is who and their socks may one day be determined.. Regardless.. you guys are definitely putting on a show.

You and 42dice both like to run gambling sites and.. you have both like to play with posts and/or PM so as to cause confusion or be misleading.

Coincidence ?

I have searched this thread, the clams website, the clams github, and the internet for a list of the Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin addresses whose snapshots were used in the clams distribution without success. Is there a list of those distribution addresses available?

I also searched the early blocks in the block explorer, but couldn't find any Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin addresses. Where are those addresses in the clams blockchain.

Define FUD please.. then tell me WHEN it would be warranted. (be specific)

Next we have the OP who shortly after posting this topic ran off and made another one.
On the other topic he claimed to be willing to start a law suit and parties interested should PM him.
(so maybe PM him and ask him how the lawsuit is going)

What i see going on is not crying FUD baby stuff but "discovery" for a law suit.. and possible evidence.
Do you guys know how lawsuits work ?
You need to know who the people are and WHAT they did.. make sense ?
Ok then.. review the previous pages.

FUD ?
This is not a self moderated clone coin ANN topic you can cry FUD on guys sorry LOL

Many times i have posted i KNOW for a fact there is STILL lot's of people who have damning evidence on these guys.
But for some reason they are hiding like spineless cowards.

IF any of you can read everything on this topic and look me in the eye and say
Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt is -NOT- warranted with Cryptsy then i would be shocked.
Because what is left other than the doors closing ?

..long tired of FUD babies crying in Crypto.

EDIT:

By the way everyone in Crypto.. your all dumb.
Being dumb is using an abbreviation that spells out what the meaning is.. F. U. D.
The fact that 90% of you out there fail miserably at grasping the concept is hilarious.
FUD does not stand for "A campaign of disinformation to cause damage"
What does it mean ?
Well.. can you read ?
IF you don't have Doubt or uncertainty in all this stuff and fear of losing your money your a fucking moron.

FUD

noun
fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually evoked intentionally in order to put a competitor at a disadvantage.

So, BigVern/Paul Vernon has some dude in Canada mass piling IDs of Cryptsy's users, a person that Paul at one time didn't even know was Hobo. I'd say that's par for the course, eh?

umm.. xD

He /they knew who the hobo was. He /they likely took turns "taking it for a spin" wink wink..

If I am not mistaken, Poloniex quite swiftly paid back the "12.3%" via exchange fees.
Don't quote me though, as I am not positive.
Remember hearing about it ages ago.

Let's try to stay on topic.

Right.. they gave the customers a "hair cut" then robbed them again with higher fees.. and you consider this acceptable ? GTFO lolz

But you will dump when the price makes you a profit right?  That's the problem with these coins they turn into pump and dump when the devs leave

No, Mr Gravitate, I will NOT dump when the price rises to the level where I could make a profit.

I am not a day-trader.  Neither am I an opportunist.

I am an investor.  And I have invested in NETcoin because I believe in it.  Genuinely.

I am in for the long term.  The VERY long term.  Nothing else makes sense in the cryptosphere anyway.

@ devs:  just looked at the new website.  It is awesome.  Great work.

Keep it up!!   Grin

But whats so good about netcoin?

The coins are FODORablely free ! Cheesy That is if you're Cryptsy and you don't know what to do with all these FREE PoS dividends generated by their clients' deposits.

What da HAY.. lets fake this market pump some MOAR !

Ok, guys. I'm the whale digger. I can prove it if necessary.

Yes, it is true that I am digging and selling my CLAMs for BTC. Though I am not dumping hard. I usually just put asks above the market price. I rarely ever do a market sell order. So although I am adding sell pressure to the price by adding asks to the orderbook, I am not "dumping" technically. The main reason why the price crashed hard is because the fear of me dumping. This lead everyone else to dump. Unfortunately, I made a error in my digging code when I did not randomize my dig addresses. Dooglus noticed this and was smart to figure out the total coins that I have yet to dig. He posted a comment on this thread and THAT was the reason why the price dumped hard. That's how markets work. Oh, and the chat about forking the coin made the price dump even harder.

I decided Yesterday to accelerate the dig but not change my selling strategy. So I should finish digging up all my coins in a few days. Maybe that will alleviate some of the fear. Sure, I will still sell CLAM for BTC when I feel it's a good price. I am not stupid. I will not dump the price to nothing and kill the coin. The market was doing that and not me.

Ask me anything, though I may or may not answer some questions. Cheesy

Horus says he is Hobo and BigVern says Horus is not Hobo. So Horus gave his coins to charity and didn't tell upper management about his involvement, this only feeds into the other aspects on question. No redirect necessary your honor! This fact just made the case!

This would be a civil action anyways so any information brought out is known before trial and it is the basis of the proceedings. So both parties already know what the charges are. The Civil action is outside the scope of Mediation since it deals with Fraudulent or deceptive activity, knowingly or unknowingly allowing such activities to transpire. So all Cryptsy can do is deny and all the prosecution has to prove is that there was Deception and people were affected by it.

If the Gleb doesn't fit you must Acquit! lmao

Hell, even Paul Vernon speaking at a conference can't get his story straight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdOEgAG8PLU. Within, he goes in detail about fist mining bitcoins in 2011, leaving the same year - doesn't mention registering Cryptsy in Feb 2012 - then gets excited again about bitcoins in 2013 after he read an article, but opts to mine Litecoins because it was the new kid on the block and the difficulty was extremely low (for those playing at home, Litecoin was created in 2011 and the difficulty wasn't low when Paul supposedly started mining it - there'll be a test later). Within a month, Paul left Litecoin because the difficulty skyrocketed, so he got into Feathercoin. Then created a bunch of altcoin pools, first for his own use, then by request. All within ~30 days. HAHAHA

His story about Litecoin's difficulty jumps/spikes sounds about right. What he forgot to mention is how he used socks, shills, pools with minting/stratum hashpower exploits and multipools to make everything appear to be bigger and more popular than it really was.

Hello ladies and gents,

Figured it was about time I replied to this thread here. I see a lot of sketchy dox work here and figured I could come in and set the record straight.

Last thing I want is you guys messaging or harassing innocent people who you think "may" have a connection to me.

First off, let me start by saying I have no idea who MikePark is on the thread here.

I see people trying to see who I am and what I have done.  No matter what I say here, I feel the tinfoil hats are pretty much welded to people's heads, so I can say the 100% truth here and you still won't want to believe it.

I have never collected a paycheque from Cryptsy under any other name than Horus.  I was the cryptohobo yes, and shakezula and blundertoe made HBN as a present for me back in the day. When I started at Cryptsy I gave them all away to a charity called "songs of love" feel free to google them. Tranz took over dev and has been great with the coin.

When Paul made the comment, he had no idea I was in fact Jdtmp4.  I would also like to point out I have never done any wrong doing. The only reason my name is even here is because when I was hobo doing advertising, I told Hippietech I would pee on him to mark my territory. He is just fishing for things to put in their next amenstop video haha.

While I was a chat moderator under the name Jdtmp4, I was strictly volunteer.  When I got into bitcoin, there was no real way to buy it here in Canada, only random forums and stuff. I created the hobo as a way to gather some of this cryptocurrency that fascinated me. I went site to site looking for jobs or tips to get into crypto.

The reason I created Horus, was not because I didnt want people to know I was Jd, which I have stated multiple time in public -- I created the pseudonym because I worked in anti-terrorist financing and investigations.

Even one of the trolls who initiated this stuff spoke good words towards my character. I have always tried to be fair with people and I am known in community for being helpful and honest with people.

I will also point out that I have never owned a delorean, or a blues bothers car, never worked at rockstar games or lived in mississauga either. The house you guys found is where I rented a room while I went to college.  I went back to Orillia for the annual Scottish festival they have to eat some haggis and irn bru.

I'm sorry to inform people there is no great " Horus conspiracy" and I am saddened to disappoint.

For those who think I am pr9me, I am not. Him and I were volunteers at the same time, and he hosted my cryptohobo prediction site on majesti.co. I havent actually spoken to him since he left Cryptsy, which was about 2 years ago. the bitcointalk account cryptohobo is also not me. I had a lot of people imitate me when I was hobo, mostly trolls on mcxnow.

I am not a share holder in Cryptsy, I work paycheque to paycheque. If you have any questions about investigations or AML/KYC regulations Im your guy to talk to, anything else about the site, I have no idea, it isn't the department I work in.

If you have questions, I am more than happy to answer what I can, just remember I am not an executive at the site so I won't know answers pertaining to stuff like that. I go on sites like blab to try to keep customers informed of what is going on - same reason I am putting out a weekly newsletter starting this week for customers. I feel communication has lacked in the past and want to step that game up.

Anyways, I hope this has cleared a bit of stuff up. Even though this is the truth, you guys probably still won't want to believe it.

Take care and have a great afternoon.

Horus

While I still plan on using cryptsy, I am positioned so they could collapse without to much of an issue for me.

IMO though, one should always be in a position where they own at least 60% of their coins.  By own I mean have 100% control of the private keys.

on a related note

Watching the ETH price on Crypysy I am puzzled by the frequent spikes - well above market on the other ETH exchanges

If someone wanted to buy ETH they could get a lot more - and a lot cheaper on Kraken or other.

Which leads me to my current hypothesis.

ETH is still a coin at Cryptsy that has no issues with withdrawal - straight thru no issues. Its reliable and fast. Many know this fact and a few have pointed this out.

I am starting to believe that ETH is being used as the backdoor to get funds out of Cryptsy.

Maybe this is the start of the bank-run

Oh my f'n Geee... Vircurex did the exact same thing !

I just received a kind PM (not disclosing the name from whom) who stated that Horus is John Macpherson. I would have to double check the timeline as to when Horus was employee by Cryptsy considering the following post:

Official Cryptsy post from https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/35429 :

John Macpherson (said 2 minutes ago)

Hey Guys,
Thank you for introducing this coin to us. We will take a look at the coin and consider it for addition.

So i think very soon we can see DEM on Cryptsy :-)

And, John Macpherson is mentioned in the OP of this thread as supposedly being Horus with strong reservations.

Untill I/we see definitive proof... all of these names should be considered assumed aliases.

majestico was pr9me's website.. Its hilarious folks are talking about him though. He was a really cool dude thats been away for so long. He knows sugar bear from honey boo boo they live in the same town lol.

Jdtmp4, pr9me and CryptoHobo, all three, use the Jdtmp4@gmail.com email account. Jdtmp4 and pr9me used the same bitcoin wallet address. In a few, I'm going to release where Hobo worked, hence knowing and posting about the Delorean, own by a dude who also owns the infamous black-and-white, used when a couple dudes were on a mission from God.  Cool Cool <---Clue (rhymes with Blue) I even have a video of the then newly purchased (unadorned) Delorean pullin' out of the same garage where the black-and-white sits (in the pic I provided a few posts up).

Let's also don't forget the nym jd230 used by hobo and jd@cryptsy.com used by Jdtmp4.
