For Chelsea, they were not good at finishing in this match because they had many opportunities but they couldn't convert them into goals. Chelsea needs really good attackers to be able to score goals because currently in my opinion Chelsea front line is very unproductive when it comes to scoring goals. When Barcelona signed with Robert Lewandowski, I thought of some old players like Ibrahimovic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cavani who are all great strikers and had successful career. But because of ageing, they failed to have consistent contributions for their clubs and I expected Lewandowski will have decreasing performances when he gets older. It is still too soon to say he will have worse performances in rest of season or next one or two seasons but this season can be a start for it.

I agree that a top team like Liverpool must try harder in the European league to strengthen their steps in winning this competition. Sometimes things that cannot be explained often occur in matches that can be predicted and perhaps that is what all teams, including Liverpool, will most avoid. However, apart from Liverpool, I also have another favorite and that is a team from Germany which has surprised various parties, namely Leverkusen and maybe I will be very happy if this will be the ideal final in the European league. But even then, the two of them should not meet in an earlier round because then we will already know who has the biggest chance of winning the title.

There is no doubt that the squad built by Xabi Alonso has a very big winning mentality because there are already 3 equally strong teams that they have managed to hold to a draw and the latest is Stuttgart. It certainly wasn't easy with this team's tight pressure and even though they often conceded first, they always ended the match without regrets.
A draw is not a bad result, especially against competitors in the title race and I think Leverkusen are very good and just need to find more points against a team they should be able to beat easily. EPL matches doesn't go as planned, we all know that. Newcastle United was not prepared to face Tottenham Hotspur today, the signs was stated clearly out. Eddie Howe and his men are taken unaware, they never expected so heightened performance from Ange Postecoglou and his firing squad. Got humiliated at Tottenham Hotspur stadium and this is absolutely not what they intended to happen. Finally, they secured three points and now, they will face next match, Nottingham forest, is it a tough game for Spurs? I don't think so.
I knew Spurs will be the better team against Newcastle after their disappointing lost to Everton and Nick Pope also getting injured, the game was so easy for spurs that Richarlison got a brace but i don`t think spurs are back yet. This season is the most interesting season I have ever witnessed in the premier league in terms predictions and outcome of the games.The no one spot "the leading team" is like a hot seat for the big teams this season and non of the major contending team spend time on top of the table and they go down, with the pattern I'm seeing playing out this season, I kind of think that the league is between Liverpool and Arsenal than it is in the hands Manchester city. Aston villa played well by holding on 1-0 victory until the end of the game and giving Liverpool chance to lead the table.
Now i`m annoyed of the big team, Arsenal suffered same fate as city against Aston villa while our beloved man united who has only the ability to beat chelsea was trash by bournemouth today. With the kind of football that I saw Aston villa play Manchester city the other night, I was shocked and thrilled as well because they totally outplayed Manchester city in that match. Actually making a new year resolution is good but it in the end you have to intentional about it nothing comes without discipline. Most of the new year resolution or life goals fails because such individual was never intentional or diligent about it. The bad habits we mostly have are still with us even after we discovered it as a flaw because we have never been diligent and intentional about it and it will continue to affect knowingly and unknowingly till it may finally destroy us, pray it never get to this though. The truth is I have an habit which has caused me more harm lately and I knew about it but didn't think it will get worse to this point but all I can say is that I pray God gives me the strength to just be victorious over it and I have taken it up to be overcome not as a new year resolution since I don't usually make a yearly resolution.

Tottenham is one team i respect in the EPL and whenever i want to call big teams in the EPL i always include them. They started so well from the start and now we are experiencing a different type of play. I feel so sad for them because i know they had plans on competing to succeed in going to the UCL next season. Yesterdays game was a big win for David Moyes Westham. Not because they won Tottenham but because they were goal down and they played so hard and equalized and finally won the game with one goal ahead of Tottenham. This is something they should be happy about because it shows they have improved in performance.
Spurs has always been inconsistent every season and that's the reason they still don't have a trophy for over a decade now though we know the most annoying is the Spurs management but let not just talk about them. Barcelona didn't quite alright give their best in their last La Liga encounter against Atletico Madrid. They couldn't use the home advantage to their favor although their visitors ensured they defended Barcelona's only goal to the last. For their next game against Girona, Girona is also in the top stand and they have the capacity to take the game to the last level and draw against Barcelona. Although normally the host advantage ought to pay off but I don't think Barcelona themselves too would allow points to slip by.

After yesterday's game I can agree with everyone that Man City are having a bad season for the first time in a long time and we see that Haaland is not really the player who can create chances for himself, I don't think he deserves to be compared to Mbappe and Vinicius Junior but I guess when Rodri, Doku and Kdb comes back from injury the team will be back.
Chelsea was really disappointing yesterday, what would it take for them to have a win against Manchester United because the last time this happened Morata scored the only goal in Stamford bridge 2017 while the last time this happened at Old Trafford 2013 and Mata scored the only goal.
