701  Other / MultiBit / Re: How to copy bitcoincore wallet to multibit on: August 09, 2015, 11:07:24 AM
do not import wallet.dat just go to Bitcoin-qt -> help -> about bitcoin -> console tab and run the dumpprivkey command and copy it.

after that you can just import that priv key to your multibit.
702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing. Why? :( on: August 09, 2015, 11:01:31 AM
i cant see nothing that tell me that bitcoin is crashing, i just see a simple dump thats all, like always...

maybe we are just a little bit nervious Wink
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGED][POD] DogeCoinDark [POW][Scrypt][privacy/security - hides users ip] on: August 08, 2015, 04:46:41 PM
killerjoe is disqualified. i was just grep'n my logs and realized he is also johnbrainless, who is banned from almost every coin's channel/thread.
(and had to be reprimanded in our channel several times)

johnbrainless (~johnbrain@77.49.241.51.dsl.dyn.forthnet.gr) has joined #dogecoindark
killerjoe is ~killerjoe@178.128.74.151.dsl.dyn.forthnet.gr *

http://bitcoingarden.tk/forum/index.php?topic=4378.0
(a thread with people leaving their doged address so he can pay them)

that alone is enough for me to disqualify him, because we have talked before about things he was doing in our channel, like trying to scam people, etc..

but many users reported him offering coins (bribes) to people who voted for him on this.

<killerjoe> anyone that wants to pocket 1000 dogecoindark message me
<killerjoe> If you have the time i would like you to go https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1053864.820 here and vote for killerjoegreece submission plz

so yeah, at 6pm EST i will be announcing the winner. if you threw away your vote on killerjoe because you were willing to take coins for your vote, shame on you, and you lose anyway.

this isnt america's voting system where the rich win and corps lobby/bribe people for things to get passed. this is bitcointalk, and i am applying some ethics.

dont forget to check my list, if the first vote didnt count now, you can count my second one as valid Smiley
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGED][POD] DogeCoinDark [POW][Scrypt][privacy/security - hides users ip] on: August 08, 2015, 01:47:24 PM
im free to vote whatever i want, i didnt know if others vote for someone because they buy his vote or not, but as i sayd, im free to vote whatever i want and/or whatever i like.

so my vote was like:

  • 1.killerjoegreece
  • 2.layer1gfx
  • 3.bitspill

i choose bitspill signature because his signature is very clean and i like it, i was between layer1gfx and killerjoegreece to decide the number 1, layer1gfx is pretty cool i like it so much but as i sayd i love the clean signatures  ( i mean not with lot of colours and thigns like that ) and i really think killerjoegreece signature is really cool too, so thats why i choose his signature, also he put lot of info on it and i like it too Smiley

btw i think that more ppl should come here and vote.

706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 Politicians in Support of Bitcoin and Blockchain Tech on: August 08, 2015, 11:57:47 AM
Haha amazing statement he made Smiley
It's pretty god to know that Bitcoin does have some political backing. Any more information on how much influence/power he has? I'm not too familiar with US politics.

hmmm im not 100% sure about that, remember that you cant never beleive on what a politican sayd, this can be good because he spread the word of the bitcoin and can be bad if he finally disappoints ppl, so i dont kwno what to think about it.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: August 07, 2015, 05:07:50 PM
The thing with BURST, is since it was a totally fair launch, no premine, no ipo, none of that, we don't have funds to hire people and rely fully on people who are willing to work for free.

most of the alt coins are not as fair as burst, i love it.

BURST will not die

i hope it, i dont want to see how died one of the best ALT coins ever, with the last great news you bring to us, this coin will be far away from died.

People can have patience, or leave the community. But there are many of us that will never leave, and will continue to do what needs to be done for the coin.

you can count with ppl like me on the burst community until the end ( and this will never happend Tongue )

Just because one dev may not be currently working for the project, doesn't mean that all of the many others are doing the same, we still have quite a few people who are working on things for the coin.

you know, sometimes ppl need to read it again and again to see that everything is going good.

Yes, we need a roadmap, and I will put one together shortly after discussing with a few people the direction we want to go, however, I can say this...

- Get clean GUI with all tools needed together, with simple setup exe, and make it easy enough for any normal windows user to run.

- implement all current BURST tools both CPU and GPU miners and plotters, and make them usable with simple GUI tools.

- push this GUI, and let the world know that HDD mining is now easy enough for a monkey.

this is what I will tell people for now. The rest I will have to talk to more of the team in order to figure out.

Thanks.

AWESOME, im sure that this will help this coin a lot, sometimes little things are more needed than big steps Wink and im not saying that you guyss are not doing a GREAT job.

TY man and ty to all the devs who still working on this coin.

708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: August 07, 2015, 03:57:34 PM
Think it would be good to add some items we would like to talk about on a list. That would also be good for the new roadmap Magi needs to add here.
If you have a specific questions you can post them here or send it pm to me.

Any thoughts on how to combat the whales that are mining and destroying the block reward or will this just stay like this?
What about increasing the POS % to encourage more people to save in wallets?

mmm i didnt think on it, i mean increased the POS%, but i start to think this will be a good idea, right now the pos % is very very low, maybe by increasing it more ppl will hold  his coin and maybe will be more interesting.

i think we should talk about it on saturday, dont gorget it guys #magi at freenode Wink
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The MOST COMPREHENSIVE LIST of potential Satoshi candidates on: August 07, 2015, 10:28:54 AM
Dear @Roselyn,

I didnt know if this will happend or not, but i would like to tell one thing to Mr. sn, thank you man, nobody know what will happend with bitcoin, as you already know humans are unpredictable, but i hope that all steps that are comming from you, help us to bring us a great future, im pretty sure that was your first intention, if you are a human charity as @Roselyn sayd, dont stop man, just dont stop, keep going on, demons are everywhere, yes?

also @Roselyn, i like your name Smiley
710  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Detienen a Mark Karpeles. on: August 06, 2015, 09:33:53 PM

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: August 06, 2015, 06:33:54 PM
No one will mine it unless you make it much easier to setup.

thats was my first impression when i join into the burst world, was really hard to understand how things are working even reading the old guides.

I really thing this is the most undervalued ALT coin ever and maybe this have something to do with small things like that, i mean things like easy way to mine it etc etc. Im pretty sure that there is more ppl with free HD space than ppl with a mine farm out there with a profitable energy consume.

Burst just need to show them how to use it and im sure they will come, just give them a easy way to mine burst, why not try this way?, also im not talking about the features of burst and all those things that are much more better than 90% of the current ALT coins out there, maybe there is more problems about burst, dunno, but as i sayd my first impression was that is really hard to get it working, after i realize how to do that and whats the benefits of this coin i start to love it, im sure ppl will do the same without any dude.
712  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Detienen a Mark Karpeles. on: August 06, 2015, 05:06:51 PM

Rightfully after Spexx; thanks Spexx for all, and magic. It was a little hard for me as to where to start; magic made contacts with me, and believed that I am alive, to magi.  Wink (of course!)

Code:
Congratulations to everybody who joined the second Proof of Interest campaign.

Sorry have to quote a message drafted by magic.  Grin

A real case for me is that was being hard into something that make me being away of putting hands on the right things, though as I messaged magic I did run into ideas from time to time and be passionate about that. Rest assured that I would talk those out at some point.

We're proposing Saturday meetup in IRC, myself with magic privately; anyone interested, welcome to check vibrations out there.

i didnt know if i will be online at saturday or not, i think that i will be, but you know sometimes plans changed in last minute, but be 100% that if i can be at irc on saturday, i will be with you Smiley

will be a pleasure for me to have a meeting with all good guys from this great community Smiley

maybe we can announce it at twitter or something like that too? or you just want to be more "privately" as you say?
716  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Whitdraw from exchange medium priority on: August 05, 2015, 03:11:08 PM
Hi to all,
i made a whitdraw from an exchange and i' ve the transaction whit medium priority, the quiestion is...if the transaction for x reasons it doesnt get confirmed, will the bitcoins return to my account?

dont worry about that, your bitcoins will me sended soon or later im pretty sure about that.

btw as @Muhammed Zakir sayd if you are so restless about that, just try to contact with the support of that exchange. Just or curiosity, what exchange are we talking about?
717  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Seguridad en blockchain.info. on: August 05, 2015, 12:14:26 PM

718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place(s) to buy and send btc on: August 05, 2015, 12:02:41 PM
there is only circle

but last time i check it, i cant do nothing because they didnt operate yet with my country, so he should check if his country is allowed for him or not.

Will be my first choise if this work for me, i mean circle, but if this dont work for you, https://localbitcoins.com/ seems to be pretty good for me.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tons of dust transactions from address "1mtgox..." what is this? on: August 05, 2015, 11:58:21 AM
Why are these people spamming the network?

Everything was fine for around 20 days and again this is happening.

maybe thats exatly what they want to made some spam, dunno something like stress the blockchain or just free publicity? or maybe this is something related with teh recent news about Mark Karpeles.

in any case is not good for all.
720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Moroccan dies in suitcase while smuggled to Spain on: August 04, 2015, 05:10:11 PM
They are doing whatever it takes to survive , I'am not sure where do you live but I'am sure if you had same situations as they do , no job , no house not shit .. you will do whatever it takes to save your family and your self from death .

some people will never or just dont want to understand things like that, they are sufficiently comfortable with their pretty lifes... empathy is not for them.

btw the main problem here is why they need to do that, is sad how is going on some "countrys".
