701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain solution for Pension system of Primary school teachers of Bangladesh on: August 23, 2020, 02:34:33 PM
Foremost, it is delighting to know that leaders of a country is taking initiatives toward Bitcoin adoption.
Although, there purpose is not much big and there are doubts regarding the intention of Bangladesh people with this act.
But I am wondering if this will be really the start of Bitcoin and blockchain being fully utilize by the country.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: August 22, 2020, 03:41:38 PM
if it starts new bull market it is the best time to all! to invest, to hold, to buy, to hunt crypto, to mine! I will try to do all! have good expectations!
when everyone starts to expect the bull market, it usually become a bear. This market is a game. only the one who understands its rules starts making money

Absolutely, when people get excited about this market and fomo it, it is about time that the market is about to collapse. Like 2017, a lot of people believed in the market and invested a lot of money in it. But soon the price collapsed and caused a lot of people in this market to lose money, be really careful and alert when investing in this market.

I agree with you. This time is very uncertain, people are getting excited again.
But the moment they see the increasing value of their investment, they would choose to sell and withdraw.
With this idea in mind of most crypto investors, we could project that market will collapse after its reign.
703  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: August 21, 2020, 01:48:07 PM
I just wanted to ask most of the users lately are asking if a certain casino is legitimate or not and some are asking why a crypto based casino does not open an Announcement thread here on the forum. Is it really necessary that a crypto casino or sports betting website needed to open an Announcement thread here?

Do they "need" to, no.  But would it hurt them, no.  Its all about advertising and getting people onto a particular site you are running, in this case a crypto online casino.  What better way to advertise than a FREE post on a crypto forum that has tons of active users in a crypto gambling sub thread.  It just makes sense to do so there is no reason not to.  But if not it doesn't delegitimize them either just bad marketing in my eyes

Indeed. Creating of ANN thread is one of the marketing strategy used by online casinos. But it does not really mean that it should be done by every casino.

Creation of ANN thread is not mandatory or some kind of requirement yet, it is necessary not just for promotional purposes but also to establish an engagement with the community. ANN thread can help in answering concerns and receiving suggestions.

You have a good point. Certainly, there would be engagement in the community which could benefit the casino.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 21, 2020, 12:34:07 PM
Technological advancements had both benefited and detriment the lives of human beings.
It made almost everyone smart and tech savvy, especially the new generations.Still, there are drawbacks.
Minors being involved to gambling is subject to parental guidance, websites cannot track who is behind every screen.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: August 20, 2020, 03:20:15 PM
The pandemic has resulted into strict regulations being enforced all over the world. Safety is highly prioritized.
Sports is certainly affected by these restrictions and I don't think that such activities will be allowed soon.
Sports with less physical contact and done in a larger space may have a chance though.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 20, 2020, 01:49:24 PM
Bitcoin is indeed became important in my life, more than it did before, during this outbreak of pandemic.
During this time, many has been lay off their regular paying jobs and remote work system is not always available.
It did not only became a source of income but also a source of hope to many who are struggling in this times.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 19, 2020, 11:46:36 AM
The truth about crypto currency is that it is more about hodling, technically, crypto is hodling.
Most people that has been able to take profit from crypto currency trade or investment are those that have mastered the act of hodling.

Knowing when to hodl, when not to hodl is an important skill you need.
Hodling has proven to be the most profitable strategy in the crypto especially now where you can increase your crypto holdings simply by providing liquidity at platforms like uniswap, It is so simple that you are increasing your holdings and if the price increase rapidly you can also take profits.

Sure, it is profitable but it is most accurate to say that it is the safest strategy, other strategy can be most profitable too if done right.
Whether you are a newbie or a long time crypto enthusiasts being a hodler will have benefits for sure.
However, it is not easy, you must always observe the market. And choose what coin to hold.
708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be carefull Newbies! Fake exchange promocodes scams on: August 19, 2020, 08:57:25 AM
There is no reason to chase hard after a few free Satoshis. If all it takes for you to sign up and play a game on an unknown site are a few Satoshis, the tendency is that you might fall again for a scam like this.

What if it says you just need to deposit 0.0005BTC instead of 0.016BTC in order to gain access to a promo code which provides you 0.001BTC? Would you have made a deposit?

Nowadays, especially in the crypto space, treat the word free as a warning.

I agree with you. That is why we should all observe extra diligence in times like this.
Wordings used in the crypto space can be really enticing and deceiving at times.
It is safer to visit sites that are known and familiar to the community to avoid such cases.
709  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone tested CryptoBet.com? on: August 18, 2020, 04:34:21 PM
I haven't tried this gambling site yet. This is also the first time I am seeing it.
Does anyone have tried playing it already? As I can see some of you have trouble using their site.
And do you happen to know if they have an official ANN thread already? That would be really helpful.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is very excited at the moment. on: August 18, 2020, 04:16:58 PM
I am delighted as I see positive changes in the market of crypto world after some time now despite of global pandemic.
It also made me think for a moment if this will be a start of another golden year for cryptocurrencies.
But honestly speaking, I am wondering if what would happen now that there are possibilities of global recession due to pandemic.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news on: August 18, 2020, 03:19:42 PM
Please read before actually putting assumptions since there was no where that I did say that hash rate is an indicator of price. Since we are having some good news , I do believe this is a good time for our investments. Wouldn't you agree on that ?

Then arguably you need to choose your wording more carefully.  Your opening lines in the OP appear to imply that now is the time to buy based on the news of the hashrate.  I can easily see how someone could come away with the wrong impression if that's not what you meant to say.

I agree that wording should be really carefully chosen, digital communication could lead to a lot of miscommunications.
Investments should be based to a lot of things and hash rate may be of help but there are more considerations to be taken.
Although these changes with the price of Bitcoin is really a good news, especially to those who bought early and are gaining profits now.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Gameplays and Strategies on: August 17, 2020, 04:30:08 PM
Poker is not a simple game you should need to learn a lot of stragey like bluffing and there is a lot of combinations of the cards.
There is video on youtube on how to play poker and you will see the acutal happening during the player is in the table. I guess it takes 1 week for.me to understand poker if you want to play just download poker games so you can try without involving money and after that you can play use your own money.

I definitely agree with you. I have struggled few times of playing it before I got it.
Watching and observing is one thing but you got to experience it to fully grasp the game.
Good thing is we can try it virtually, as you have mentioned.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 17, 2020, 04:02:22 PM
I don't think a smart guy would send a Eth to unknown address without double checking.

Mostly he is gonna copy paste the address anyway.

In case he sends it I think most people wouldn't send it back to him.
In general, it is not possible to know exactly who the sender is and if 1 ETH is of high value during that time, it will be very unlikely to return. I've never been in this situation, but I understand if I send it wrong it all ends and there is almost no hope of getting the money back. It is best for each person to be careful in the transaction and to check multiple times before deciding to send.

We are of the same thought. In my case, if it will ever happen, I am willing to send it back.
Though I would wait for the sender to at least reach out to me so I could send it back safely and to the rightful owner.
And I do believe that everyone is too careful to commit such mistake especially in this time.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casinos to surge in German market? on: August 17, 2020, 03:26:03 PM
Based, on the article the government of Germany has imposed these restrictions, for gamblers, to discourage going to illegal casino sites.
It's good that cryptocurrencies are highlighted as new solution to this, but if affiliated with those considered as illegal it might still eliminated by the government.
But if it will be allowed with the regulated casino sites, it will be another huge stepping stone for cryptocurriencies. I hope for the best.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: August 16, 2020, 02:50:45 PM
With your skills you can earn. You can earn without any hard work. For that you need to be a crypto investor.
I'm not sure how you did it.
You can earn money without hard work? I can't imagine how it works for you because it didn't work for me, we all know how hard to earn money IRL. It just you brought other minds to think about easy money in crypto which is entirely different from the actual scenario. Besides, all people who succeed in crypto trading and investment had suffered losses and difficulties before they got from where they are today.

Will I believe that skills and ability could help you become profitable but it doesn't work so easy as I know.
Yes I agree, even for me it doesn't work that way. Crypto is not a money making option for everyone that if they invest, they can earn. It is not something that you don't work hard then you can earn so easily. OP should know that even in crypto, there is no such thing as easy, we are all working hard and not taking it as easy as he thing.

Very well said. It is true that abilities and talents are foundation for a person to be successful.
But everything is attain with hard work and being able to surpass difficulties without giving up.
In crypto, challenges are present every time and requires not just abilities but perseverance.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 16, 2020, 01:35:01 PM
Isn't that a clear thing? What makes a good bettor is his statistic! If his statistic is over 70% winning rate, and he is in profit, we can say for that person that he is a good bettor! Winning rate for itself doesn't mean much, he can win low odds and miss high odds, to lose more on his losses than he makes profit on his winnings. It's why except winning rate you need to take a look at his bankroll to have a full picture.
Identifying a good bettor would really be like this on where you do try to check out that profitability rate because that one will surely indicate on how good the gambler or bettor is.Even if we do talk about
luck based kind of games then its still considerable but most of the time it would be ideal to see these numbers when dealing with sports betting or cardgames. Success rate will really able to
picture out on a gambler if he's good enough or not. Also if we do talk about good bettor then it do always pertain all the qualities like self control, intuition, bankroll management etc.
It is not just about winning rate, it is about your character as a gambler? Ask yourself if you are gambling just because of fun or it is because of money. A good bettor know what is his purpose and goal in terms of playing gambling. Understanding the concept is also a factor, are you able to know how to win in games such as dice, crash or card and table games. You can achieve success in gambling if you are a good bettor, in order to become one of the good bettor you should allocate your time on understanding your ownself.

And winning rate tells it all, right? Winning rate is not just those people with 100 bets or 200 bets, we are talking about a lot of bets and still having that good winning rate. If we are talking about a 70% win rate, then we can actually say that he is a good bettor. He knows his goal, understand the factor, and obviously know how to win the reason we are seeing a good win rate. That is also obvious that he is a good bettor since with that rate, he is successful.

I could not agree more. A good bettor must be able to cope with the wins and losses.
They have purpose and objectives that they abide by, principles that they hold on to.
They aim to attain knowledge of sports, strong evaluation skills and excellent money and emotion management.
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 15, 2020, 06:06:43 PM
No one can predict the future, but increasing global debt, slow economic growth and expanding central bank balance sheets have the potential to weaken the dollar and investors seek safe areas in assets like gold and Bitcoin.
The factors like global debt and a slow economic growth and on top of that the pandemic has put a lot of strain to the economy and you can be attributed that the rise in the price of BTCitcoin and other cryptocurrency market is due to these factors and no one can have a different debate as there is no concrete evidence on why all of a sudden huge investors are investing heavily in the market. You cannot call the cryptocurrency market a safe heaven and it is yet to prove that the market will sustain this growth if there is a global economic meltdown but these huge investors know that the market usually rises after every halving and they might be taking advantage of that common factor.

That's what I'm thinking, if bitcoin will continue to repeat itself  then those big fat bag-holders are just preparing, accumulating
every cheap coins inside the market, allowing traders to enjoy this small rise that they've building around. Whales knows how
the sentiments of the traders and once they are convince, this people behind can triggered and point the direction according
to their plans.

In regards to US Dollar value, there's no clear information that it is part on why bitcoin value are surging, there's no connections
aside from forex investors who might be starting to divert their money.

I agree with you. Being both currencies and having moments on a certain period does not really correlate these two.
Bitcoin and US Dollar may both be affected by the macroenvironment however, but changes and impacts would not be really the same.
Reliable sources should be presented first before we could make such assumption regarding their connection.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This beach resort is accepting Ethereum!!! on: August 14, 2020, 02:17:01 PM
I agree that Philippines has many prestige paradises, can be considered as some of gems of the world.
If this is really true, tourism industry would be a great benefactor of cryptocurrencies.
I just hope that this would be practiced in the global economy.
719  Economy / Gambling / Re: BADCOGAMING.COM - Odds Comparison Website for Soccer and MMA / UFC on: August 14, 2020, 01:38:50 PM
I could not agree more with the statements of forum members about your website.
If you are promoting this AGAIN, you should have prepared developments that would address past concerns.
I suggest that you look into these recommendations carefully because it would benefit you in the end.
