Hello guys! I have been trading altcoin as a hobby for a couple of years now. Recently, I have decided to go "pro" and invest lots more time and money into altcoin trading. I have noticed throughout the years the "fear vs greed" within the cryptocurrency market. You can see this emotional trading pattern in regular stocks as well, but regular stocks are also backed by hard goods, whereas the crypto market is backed by promises, websites, ideas, and developers (or wannabe devs). Therefore the crypto market is HIGHLY leveraged by emotions.
I am a female (look ma, a real girl!), and being a woman, my emotions tend to run higher than a man, which is why the stock market and cryptocurrency market is inherently dominated by men. This is a double edged sword, as i have been working diligently on keeping my emotions low and financial intellegence high while trading. Trading can be very emotional when you lose your ass, or you watch a coin that you were going to invest in skyrocket to 70% overnight (just happened to me, ugh!) So kicking oneself in the pants is a hard habit to break.
However, I am starting to recognize these emotional patterns in trading, noting the "fear vs greed" pattern emerging in the markets. I try to pinpoint overbought and oversold trends and follow the patterns that are really just intangible emotions of traders on the market.
I am noticing, over time, as I trade more and higher volume, my emotions are coming to bay.
Are you an emotional trader? Are you a financially intellegent trader? Any advice on how to keep emotions at bay while trading? Or even how to leverage them?

The only way to not be emotional is to stop watching the price every minute/hour or so. Due to high fluctuations the weak hearted will sell to avoid losses, however if you investigate the coin and make a prediction, think about a stop loss price. Make an alert in for example blockfolio app for the stop loss and don't watch it  . If you bought a coin immediately set a sale price for the gain you wish it to be That is not a way to avoid fear, fear is the part of human thoughts it depend on us to make ourselves get away from this. Fluctuating graph is not the reason of fear, it gives many information to us if we deeply study it, stop watching prices result in missing the right time for selling and buying. Both the above post point is correct on some point, i totally agree that if you watch the price movement then surely you will make mistake and sell it on loss, so it is good to keep the selling price as soon as you are buying or any time when you are wishing to sell. Dont see the high price went for the coin as no one can take profit of high price and low price. Only be satisfied with what ever profit you are getting. |

I have also setup ethereum mining farm and faced issue in cooling, electricity is not a big deal we will get it directly from the electricity board but cooling solution needs to be explore for large mining farm.
That is why it is said that mining is not profitable unless you have all problems solves like, electricity cost, cooling solutions, etc. So it is much better that you can start trading in bitcoins and earn nicely better then doing mining work. |

Altcoin trading is the high risk game in this if you properly analysize and trade then you can earn very nicely. But the main point to be remembered is to never lover any coin and when ever you are in profit immediately book it. Dont think of it may go more high as when their is price pump then it is sure that it will also get dump. What ever value of project the coin holds it but it will surely get dumped also. so when ever you are in profit start to sell the coins and book profit. |

In most of ICOs, investors can get some bonuses, if they invest sooner. In my opinion these bonuses not only don't cause the ICO to be successful, but also cause the ICO to fail. In some ICOs there is up to 100% bonus.
If I see that there are some people have gotten 100% bonus in pre-ICO, I don't invest in that ICO, Because they will dump their coins after crowdsale and cause the price to fall.
Do you agree with me? What are your opinions?
What you are telling is true that when the offer is very sweet like giving 100% of bonus means the developer is not serious about his project and that ICO is only pump and dump coin. So who ever is going to invest in that coin should better sell of the coins when it hits exchange as you will get the coin in 50% lesser then what price they sold on launching day. |

Ya you can see that the growth of bitcoin users is going high here and as still their is not clarity about bitcoins status no merchant are ready to start bitcoin payment but users are working for bitcoin and converting them to fiat currency and enjoying it. |

It is upto the decision of the users which one is better, if the payment and the job is very good then leaving that job and going full time is not good until you are not earning double income what you are getting in your job. My some friends whom i have given full knowledge of bitcoin are doing full time as they dont have job and now they are earning very nicely in bitcoin so they can pursue it full time job

Without money, you won't have access to the essentials of daily life such as food, water, shelter, clothes etc. But despite this, I don't agree that money is above all things even if it is one of my priorities. I'm a godly man and I believe that God is above everything. Each one have their own priorities and it may be different for the others. What you are saying is true god and humanity is the main thing and every one should have that in their life , then their wont be any problems in life. I have account in Both the exchanges but i am trading mostly in Bittrex and other exchanges as most of the coins are listed first in other exchanges after some days they are listed in poloniex and bittrex , so until they are not listed here i have trade in other exchanges, but trading in bittrex is more comfortable.

Both the options are risky as in stocks also their are so many new stocks come in the market and almost when they are listed they are also first dumped and then after some time they are traded in the market. Same way cryptocurrency is also going on same way. In both you have to view technically and fundamentally and then invest in them. |

The most important rule is just to look at the charts, and see price movements among the whole day, just follow all the candles on every chart you are going to trade and look the opportunity to join the market.
But the most important thing is to set a desired profit, i dont take more than 2,5% profit per trade, usually they get filled in less than 2 hours, and in good days of trading i do 6 of them a day.
What you told is the correct rule of daily trading is to set the desired profit or loss of trade so that you dont make mess with your investment. It is always good to first check the movement of the coin and then according to it trade it, let the price move up little but you will get idea of the movement is really bull or its a bull trap. |
