What did he get arrested for?
Supposedly he is a convicted sex offender who has been on the run for 5 years, according to the OP's second link.

Once I read a thread about dice cheating, it says the site admin can control the result, and admin can use new accounts to steal money from investors.
The OP says to assume that the site in his example IS provably fair.

Doesn't matter if you're a non profit... I believe the rule is that you shouldn't use other people's copyrights for any commercial gain?
consider the following: If I was running a http proxy, would it be okay to insert a banner at the top of each page ( like this) to fund the server? I'm not a lawyer, but common sense tells me the answer is 'no' - it would not be okay to earn money off of someone else's work without their permission. It doesn't apply to your example, because there's no commercial intent. But if there was a banner ad there...

Nefario taught an english class in china. he had some assignment where he got his students to do something on the forum. That's all I can remember.
IIRC it was some kind of experiment where he had groups of students compete to earn the most bitcoin. Both the forum and bitcoin has come a long way in only 4 short years
It's too bad bitcoin is only headed downwards now.
